    My wedding day was PERFECT all thanks to The Old Salt & Lamie’s Inn!

    Our wedding day was everything we wanted and more! We had 50 guests and had a buffet dinner and DJ with dancing. Plenty of room for everyone to eat & dance. We also got to use the patio that’s attached (smoking allowed on patio, drinks as well). The food was perfection- felt like a home cooked meal with LOVE! George is the best in the business. He is so knowledgeable and collaborative which is so helpful to have! George will make your dreams come true!!!

    Outstanding Service, Quality of Food, and Value

    I contracted The Old Salt to cater my daughter's July 2020 wedding at Birch Hill Farm in Gilford, NH. Birch Hill Farm and The Old Salt have put on a number of weddings and the two vendors worked great together to make the wedding a huge success. I selected the Old Salt for a number of reasons:
    * I was a frequent patron of their restaurant when I worked in Hampton and always had good food and service
    * The Old Salt menu options were varied and they were willing to work with us on whatever we wanted
    * The value (quality of food and price) is exceptional
    * The Old Salt can provide their own bartenders, if desired (one stop shopping for food and beverage)
    * There are huge benefits when the venue host and caterer have prior work histories of putting on weddings and obviously work well together.

    I found Sarah and the staff at the Old Salt very friendly and easy to work with. In the unusual circumstances of COVID-19, we weren't sure if the July wedding was going to happen. During this whole uncertain period, Sarah was in frequent contact with us regarding Gov. Sununu's re-opening plans, CDC guidelines, and what steps the Old Salt was taking to make the wedding party, attendees, and her staff safe should weddings be allowed in time. With just 5 weeks advance notice that wedding receptions were again being allowed in NH and our wedding was back on, Sarah diligently worked with us to put together the full menu and beverage needs with our changing guest numbers and helped create custom wedding cocktails.

    On the day of the wedding the entire food was outstanding; the main menu portions were more than generous; the staff was professional and friendly. I highly recommend without any reservation or doubt The Old Salt to cater any function.

    Old Salt Catering

    We had such a great experience with the Old Salt --- the food is definitely one of the more stressful items at a wedding, and they really helped make sure that everything went seamlessly. All of our guests loved the food, and the service was excellent --- the food came out quickly and well done. Can't recommend them enough! Joe and Sarah were a pleasure to work with!

    Backyard wedding catering

    The Old Salt’s staff was amazing to work with throughout our wedding. We had met with them multiple times on our wedding site to make sure everything was going to work smoothly. The food was amazing and was a highlight of the event. All of the staff was very professional and would recommend to anyone. Thanks again!

    The Old Salt is fabulous!! We had an outdoor wedding at my sister and brother-in-laws house and it was absolutely wonderful! It was a casual reception with a lobster and steak buffet. Sara Powers is fantastic and she took care of everything. I had no idea how much and how hard this team worked before, during and after the event. I was so impressed and so happy. Sara was very accommodating with some things that I wanted to supply on my own, as we had some signature things that we are known for with our friends and family. She took care of the tent setup, the food, the open bar. I can't say enough good things about The Old Salt. We also had our brunch at the Old Salt the next and it was so great! Thank you so much for making our day so special!!!!!!

    We had our wedding rehearsal here and it went so smooth. The food was great and the private room worked well!

    Honestly, we wanted a laid back atmosphere, casual, and just a night of fun. We didn't plan anything "formal", just a chance for us all to hang out before the wedding, and have a night of relaxing. We did it a few nights before the wedding, so the place was quieter. Great food, great service, and good drinks. Thanks for staying on top of all the beer drinkers orders! =)

    Fantastic Food all Around

    Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the Old Salt! The parents all made note of their professionalism and efficiency on the day of, and the food was a big hit. The clam chowder was great, and the steak tips + salmon were fantastic. I've got a bit of a sweet tooth and have to give a shout out to the maple butter. Not only that, but I heard multiple people say the tiramisu was the best they had ever had. Would highly recommend them!

    Loveee The Old Salt!

    The Old Salt was incredible. My now husband and I used them for our wedding and I'm so glad we did. Sarah was incredible to work with and the service day of was out of this world. The food.... the FOOOD! I'm still getting compliments on how good it was a month later when I see people. They cook everything fresh on site.. whether your venue has a kitchen or not (mine didn't) and it was out of this world. They have incredible prices, even better staff and the food... perfection. If I had to do it all over again I'd hire them in a heart beat. Thank you to The Old Salt fo rmaking our wedding that much better!

    The Old Salt was a great New England choice for our caterer. They have an excellent menu and of course the seafood options are amazing!

    We chose The Old Salt because we wanted to use local vendors and we know the restaurant is always great. We couldn't have been more pleased with Sarah's helpfulness and willingness to work with us. We found the pricing fair and the food was delicious.

    I would 100% recommend using The Old Salt for your wedding.
