Bruce and Kathy were so accommodating throughout our entire weekend from the time we arrived to the time we checked out. The entire staff on property was so accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed all weekend and making sure the groom had a Coors light in hand at all times. Our wedding day went off without any issues and was exactly how I have always pictured my dream wedding. Kathy handled everything and took the stress off of us from the time we arrived to the time we left. She even worked with us to accommodate our outdoor ceremony in the middle of February. We can't thank The Old Saco Inn enough for all of their help and hospitality to all of our guests. We received countless feedback from our guests that it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended. Thank you to all the staff, Bruce and Kathy for making our wedding day a day we will never forget! -

We got married at the Old Saco Inn on September 23rd and couldn't have asked for a better experience! The venue itself is absolutely stunning, but being able to stay on property with our closest family and friends all weekend made it even more perfect! Bruce, Kathy, Tyler and their entire staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We all had a wonderful time!
With that being said, there aren't enough thank yous in the world for Kathy, the wedding coordinator at the Old Saco Inn. She truly made my wedding day dreams come true! I am certainly a "type a" bride and had a vision in my head and Kathy executed it perfectly. I spent the day relaxing in the bridal suite with my best friends while her and her team transformed the space into everything I had hoped for.
They also went above and beyond to make sure our ceremony and reception were perfect. We chose the mountain view ceremony space and the views were amazing - quite a walk to the aisle but 100000% worth it! Tyler was also incredible with us and our guests during the reception. He was SO MUCH FUN and basically our hype man! We had a large and rowdy crowd and they handled it perfectly! Not a single guest had a bad experience and we couldn't be more grateful for that. We HIGHLY recommend the Old Saco Inn! -

Marilyn Sent on 10/22/2022Fantastic Wedding Venue, gorgeous setting, great food and wonderful staff!
We booked this venue 2 years ago shortly after they opened and couldn't be happier with this choice. The setting was beautiful with the fall colors for a late afternoon ceremony by the covered bridge. Everyone was wowed by the handcrafted Maine Post and Beam modern barn with the impressive chandeliers and massive granite wall backdrop. You can keep your decoration to a minimum as the barn with it's lighting is fantastic all on it's own. We also had a outside fire on the patio and had a s'mores bar for folks to enjoy the fall evening when they needed a break from dancing. Kathy, Lisa and Tyler were ready to take care of any detail that day and constantly checked in to see if we needed anything before hand. They handled everything and I (mother of the bride) was able to relax knowing they were taking care of all the little details. My daughter (the bride) was able to relax and enjoy her big day too!
It was great to have the entire Inn to ourselves with the entire bridal party onsite for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner the day before so no-one had to drive anywhere. And the price was so reasonable!
I would highly recommend The Old Saco Inn and Barn to anyone thing about a wedding or a large function! -

My husband and I just got married here on 12-4-21 and it was everything I dreamed of and more. I had always loved the idea of a rustic, cozy, festive winter wedding and this couldn't have been more perfect. The venue is flawless, elegant, and wide open for plenty of guests and space (esp in the days of COVID). There is a mini salon bridal suite area for the bridal party to get ready in and the groomsmen get ready at the cozy inn on the other end of the property.
And the staff. Kathy the coordinator is an unstoppable force and deserves an award for the energy she puts in to making everything as we wanted it. She works closely alongside the owners Bruce and Jon who are also super welcoming and are ready to help with whatever is needed. The ONLY issue we had was after a night of snow a couple days prior then freezing rain caused the parking lot and pathways to freeze over the day before and of the wedding. Bruce put a ton of work into buying loads of salt and spread them himself (no easy feat with the long driveway and ample parking space).
You also get rehearsal dinner with your wedding party at the inn the night before which was DELICIOUS. To keep costs down and keep it simple, we opted in for an Italian buffet which was wonderful, as well as breakfast goodies while staying at the inn. The food for the wedding was AMAZING. You have to get the mac&cheese and the steak tips. Passed apps were loved by all my guests (I was too busy to eat but tried them all at the tasting prior to; and YUM! Love them all)
In short. We had a beautiful wedding and I absolutely recommend this charming place to make your dream day a reality. My guests raved about how it was the best wedding they had been to. Thank you all so much, and we cannot wait to be back. -

After touring this venue in person we knew it was the space for us. The hospitality the owners and our wedding planned displayed went above and beyond compared to every other venue we visited. The venue offered so many customizations and did everything they could to accommodate our wishes for the special day. From the food, drinks, ability to stay on site and the breathtaking barn, our day was more perfect then we could ever have imagined, plus some! The Old Saco Inn is incredible and I could not recommend them enough. -

Words cannot expressour gratitude, and pictures cannot begin to capture the beauty of this facility! Our oldest daughter and her new husband were just married here before Thanksgiving 2020. The picture of her smile, or selfie with Dad or private moment with her new husband cannot quite capture the magic that the Inn added to our special day. As parents helping make a little girl’s dream and a young woman’s vision come together we cannot thank Bruce and Jon enough for providing such an exceptional experience❤️. If you are a couple or their parents who have chosen The Old Saco Inn for an upcoming wedding rest easy in your d vision knowing you have chosen well!!! At a time when many other facilities are using Covid to sideline customer service Bruce and Jon not only embrace it but SHINE! My husband and I got married at The Old Saco Inn on 8/15/20. Our wedding weekend/day was perfect! I cannot say enough amazing things about the venue, staff, and food! The entire wedding party got to stay in the Inn Thursday through Sunday and we had such a blast! Thursday and Friday we used the driving range, had bonfires, hung out on the balconies, and relaxed on the gorgeous property. Friday night we had rehearsal dinner in the Inn which was the perfect setting and space for this. The venue owners Bruce and Jon, wedding coordinators Kathy and Melanie, and staff went above and beyond to make my husband and I's dream wedding come to life. They were always extremely helpful, accomidating, flexible, and personable!! And the newly built barn where my husband and I had our reception is the most BEAUTIFUL barn I have ever seen! The barn also has a bridal suite on the second floor where my bridesmaids, moms, and myself got ready the day of the wedding. One of the rooms in the bridal suite has couches, and the other room was a salon where the makeup artist and hair stylist can set up and do hair and makeup specifically in that room. It worked out perfect! Lastly, the food was phenomenal. From breakfast all weekend, rehearsal dinner, the appetizers during cocktail hour, and the wedding dinner, all of the food was so delicious. We HIGHLY reommend this venue!!

The Old Saco Inn was the perfect location for our December wedding, with the grounds and buildings already tastefully decorated for the holidays. Bruce and Jon made planning our ceremony and reception fun and easy. The food was excellent, with rave reviews from our guests. Their staff was on top of everything. We spent our wedding night in one of the rooms; cozy and inviting after our busy day. We've already booked a stay for our first anniversary, and plan on celebrating many more to come there.The Old Saco Inn's reply:

Book this Venue!
Everything about our wedding exceeded any expectations we had all thanks to the Old Saco Inn, Kathy, and all of the staff. For starters, the grounds and barn are stunning. The Inn and Carriage house are both cozy, spacious, and so fun for the whole bridal party to stay at all weekend. We loved that our dog was able to join us in our celebrations, and she loved it too! Rehearsal dinner at the Inn was perfect and delicious, followed by a welcome party in the Inn/Pub. All the staff were so friendly, patient, and accommodating, not to mention so hard working and genuinely seem happy to be there. Tyler was such a rock star all weekend, helping with anything and everything you could imagine. We worked the bar hard with our 200 guests, but everyone raved about the drinks and the service. We truly felt so relaxed and taken care of from the second we arrived. Our guests provided many compliments, and most importantly everyone had such a good time. Kathy has amazing vendor recommendations, many of which we used, and is full of very useful knowledge on wedding planning. If you're looking to have a wedding that is classy, yet so fun and relaxed, this is your place. We could not feel more grateful to have found The Old Saco Inn. It truly will live in our hearts forever. -

Incredibly Fantastic!!!!!!!
How do I begin!!! From the start the staff at Old Saco Inn made us feel like family. From the tasting to the final dance, we felt so at home and so welcomed. The feedback received from our guests was full of positive loving thoughts. The ceremony at the bridge made for an extra special memory. The food that Annie and her staff prepared was out of this world.
The thoughtfulness that went into our dessert table in memory of Dan's Mom was so special. The guests loved the stations (especially the potato bar.) We cannot thank Kathy, Jon, Wayne, Annie Tyler and the rest of the staff enough. They certainly made our Wedding Weekend a weekend to remember. We can't wait to go back!! Love the Mackins!! -

Such a hidden gem!
My husband and I got married at the old Saco in this past December. We couldn’t of asked for a better venue. Kathy, our planner, was great, and everything was set up, just as we wanted the day off. Having her as our included day of coordinator was so helpful! She was there for rehearsal and at the church for our ceremony. They have so much to offer at this venue. If they have the capabilities, they will make any of your wants come to life! The pricing was transparent, and the small details they added to our day, without nickel and diming was much appreciated. I used their battery candles in all of my centerpieces, They offered a couple easels that they happen to have, they hung our lighted name, sign above the bar, and even moved their giant Christmas tree to sit behind us at our sweetheart table. The rehearsal dinner space that is included was just perfect! It made for such a cozy and intimate rehearsal dinner. everyone enjoyed the lovely rooms at the Inn. They were so convenient for family and friends. I do wish they build more in the future! They have numerous beautiful outdoor ceremony sites that couples can choose, and even installed some beautiful giant barn doors at the entrance to make indoor ceremonies more convenient. They added a second bar upstairs for larger events just before our wedding. The getting ready space for the bridal party is just perfect and allows you to be right inside the venue to watch as things come together. When my husband and I came down with Covid, the day of our tasting, Kathy and the chef were so kind as to box up our food to have one of my bridesmaids pick up and deliver it to us. They even allowed us to come in for a complimentary dinner after our quarantine ended so that we could try the food hot as well! I truly feel fortunate to have found this spot in what is still considered the beginning of their wedding venture. If you have the opportunity to choose it for yours, I wouldn’t hesitate! I have no doubt this will soon become one of the most popular and sought after spots to get married in Maine! -

The best venue any bride and groom could ask for!
It was such an absolute pleasure to work with the wedding coordinator Kathy Daigle, owners Jon and Bruce, and the entire staff at The Old Saco Inn for our 1/29/2022 winter wonderland wedding. Although we had some challenges with a snowstorm that Saturday- Kathy, Bruce, Jon and their team made it the perfect day and were able to assist in whatever way that they could when things went upside down. Working with Kathy for the 6 months prior to the wedding was so helpful- she knew just what questions to ask us, was always available to answer any questions we had, and got back to us promptly. She made planning a wedding and getting married that day easy!!! The Inn did a wonderful job hosting our immediate family as guests; the breakfasts each morning at the inn were delicious, as was the rehearsal dinner food for our wedding party. The Inn rooms were warm and inviting, and they felt like being at home. Our wedding menu was easy to choose from as all of the food is just the best! Guests are still raving about how mouthwatering their entrees were at our wedding, how the bar and waiter service was perfect, and how the drinks were large and scrumptious. Kathy, Bruce, and Jon did an amazing job working with all of our wedding vendors as well to coordinate deliveries that day. Kathy and her assistant Laura even came to the First Congregational Church in Fryeburg where we were married (by the fabulous Pastor Violet- highly recommend her and the Church as well) to assist with rehearsal details and also the flow of our wedding day. Despite many changes that weekend due to the snowstorm and ongoing pandemic that we are still living in, Kathy, Bruce and Jon and their Old Saco Inn family of staff members made our family and guests feel at home, comfortable, safe, and made sure that we the bride and groom and all of our guests were cared for. They went above and beyond what we ever expected a wedding venue to do. When the florist didn't drop off all the bridal bouquets- Jon and Bruce stepped up to help make them from flower arrangement for the bridesmaids. When shuttle services for our guests and bridal party canceled on us last minute that day due to the snow, Kathy was able to find additional transportation as a replacement. We are so happy that we chose to stay and have our wedding reception at The Old Saco Inn and feel so blessed that they were all part of our wonderful, special, and truly unforgettable day. We started our journey with The Old Saco Inn in July 2021 when we walked into the barn and knew it was the place where we would start the rest of our lives together as husband and wife- we left January 30th, 2022 as friends who became like family with The Old Saco Inn owners and team. Seriously, if you are looking for a rustic, elegant and amazing wedding experience for the "perfect" (and I say in quotation marks as nothing goes perfectly and you MUST go with the flow and just remember to be happy) wedding day...please look no further... The Old Saco Inn is your venue! -

We couldn't have asked for a better venue!
The Old Saco Inn and Barn was a perfect venue for us. We loved the beautiful barn, private destination, and the inn. Not only was the venue itself amazing, but owners Bruce and Jon are the best! When we booked in 2019 for a 2020 wedding we had no clue what was in store. They not only helped us prepare a "Plan B" but then helped us postpone our wedding to 2021. Luckily, June 2021 allowed us to have our wedding as planned.
It was amazing and everything we had dreamed of. Our vendors, family, and friends all raved about the venue and the food. Everything was amazing.
Kathy helped us plan every detail so the day went perfectly. She made everything so easy and took care of everything so we could relax and enjoy our big day!
Having our wedding party and family stay at the Inn for the weekend was a great bonus!
We HIGHLY recommend The Old Saco Inn as a wedding venue. If we could, we would do it all over again! -

Beautiful Venue
The Old Saco Inn is the perfect location for a private, elegant and full service event. They provide setup and breakdown of everything, full service catering, a full bar, several ceremony locations and a breathtaking elegant barn for the reception. They offer several beautiful guest rooms on site, including breakfast and lunch the day of the wedding. We had a delicious rehearsal dinner the night prior and despite the chance of rain the day of the wedding, they were accommodating to my desire to have the ceremony outside. It was a bit of a drive for us (two hours each way), but I’m so thankful we chose this location. -

So in love!
We had the pleasure of getting married at the Old Saco Inn last weekend and we are still coming down off cloud nine. 🤵🏻♂️👰🏼♀️💕 Our expectations were far surpassed! Bruce, John, Kathy, and the staff went above and beyond to give us the experience of a lifetime. Not only is the reception venue stunning but the grounds give so many unique options for ceremony sights. The accommodations allowed us to have our close family and bridal party all stay in one place which alleviated a lot of stress but also gave us the ability to spend real quality time with the ones we love. I can’t count the amount of guests that told us it was the most gorgeous venue they had ever visited, and it’s the truth! If you are in search of a wedding venue, we cannot recommend The Old Saco Inn enough. We can’t wait for future return visits! -
