  We couldn't be happier that we chose Custom House for our ceremony/reception. After eating at this place for years it was a total shock to find the hidden gem downstairs. A beautiful venue that is so nice you will save money on decorations. Ahna, our contact, and her staff were friendly, outgoing, and willing to help out in any way. They accommodated our schedule and never complained when we needed to get into the venue earlier than expected. The food was absolutely delicious and we received so many compliments on the dinner and appetizers. I don't think I could have been taken care of better had I paid triple the price further up the coast. Planning a wedding is stressful especially when you are you own coordinator so having a venue that can stay calm and are always helpful is a must! I would recommend the Old Custom House, again and again!

  We had our wedding and reception downstairs at the Custom House. Mary the site coordinator was amazing. The staff was outstanding and were on top of everything to do with our special day. Very professional. The food was awesome. We continue to get feedback about the food from our guests. We really enjoyed having our wedding at The Custom House. It is a great spot. Thank you to Mary and her great staff.

  It was so beautiful and the reception was amazing. The food was delicious, everyone complmented on it. they didnt always call back when they say they would but it all got done and was beautiful. their should be more weddings there. right on the beach we walked from the beach ceremony took pictures and went right down to the banquet room.

  We actually used The Custom houses newest restaurant Ventana Grill in Pismo beach for our Wedding Reception. Lizz their coordinator was wonderful and helped us pull the whole day together. The food was great, and location was great, and they were very accommodating, helping us set up the room like we wanted. They are on the expensive side, but its Pismo and you are pretty much paying for your location. Over all I had a very good experience with them =)

  We had our rehearsal dinner at the Custom House. They did a great job working with. The downside to the venue itself was it's difficulty to find and get in the door. But once you find it and get in the door, it was gorgeous. It has a wine cellar feel and a warm bar/lounge area.

  Unprofessional

  We booked with this venue for the beautiful views on the beach. The wedding was on a friday and we were not informed until 3 weeks before that there would be a farmers market on the boardwalk, with live music, being played during our ceremony. We ended up moving to the other side of the peir to try to minimize the noise, and when we arrived we were told the farmers market had been canceled, but no one informed us so we werent able to move it to the other side. It was just very unprofessional and I wouls not recommend them.
