If I could give The Oakley 10 stars, I absolutely would!
We got married there on June 20, 2026, and from the very beginning, Alicia—the co-owner and our month-of/day-of coordinator—was incredibly organized, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire planning process. She made us feel confident and cared for every step of the way.
The entire Oakley family and staff went above and beyond before, during, and after our wedding weekend. On Friday, they helped with setup and ran our rehearsal. Saturday morning, they took care of all the finishing touches, including hanging drapery, placing flowers and décor, setting up chairs, and arranging the ceremony signage. On Sunday, they helped with cleanup and gathered all of our décor to pack up. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made the entire experience feel effortless and seamless.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. From the charming courtyard and beautiful greenhouse to the ceremony site overlooking the pond and the gorgeous reception barn, every part of The Oakley is picture-perfect. It's clear they have thoughtfully designed every space with couples in mind and truly considered everything a bride and groom could want for their wedding day.
We are so grateful to Alicia and the entire Oakley team for making our wedding weekend so magical. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing staff that genuinely cares about making your day unforgettable, I cannot recommend The Oakley enough!

From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey, we knew hosting a wedding from out of state could come with its challenges. We were nervous about the distance, the logistics, and the countless details that need to come together to make a wedding day seamless. What we could not have anticipated, however, was just how incredible the team at The Oakley would be every single step of the way. To say they exceeded our expectations is an understatement—our experience with this venue and its staff was nothing short of extraordinary.
From our our first visit, we were blown away by how beautiful the venue was, how well maintained and manicured every part of the property was. Alicia was incredible from the start and had an answer for all of our questions and immediately eased our minds and put many of our worries at ease. The entire staff was accommodating, cooperative, and truly invested in making our day everything we envisioned. They were patient and understanding when we had questions or concerns, and they offered helpful guidance when we weren’t quite sure what direction to take. Every single member of the team—from the owners to the coordinators, from the bar staff to everyone working behind the scenes—demonstrated genuine care, professionalism, and dedication.
A special mention must go to Alicia, who was nothing short of phenomenal. Her level of detail, thoughtfulness, and organization is unmatched. She had contingency plans for every possible scenario and made sure that we always felt reassured and confident, even when nerves set in. Her ability to anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and execute flawlessly was one of the biggest reasons we felt so at ease in the days leading up to the wedding. Knowing she was overseeing everything allowed us to focus on what truly mattered—celebrating the most important day of our lives.
On the wedding day itself, everything came together more beautifully than we could have ever imagined. The venue looked stunning, the flow of the day was seamless, and every small detail was handled with such care that it felt as though our vision had come to life effortlessly. Guests raved about the atmosphere, the service, and the warmth of the staff. From the ceremony to the reception, and even during the final moments of the evening, the team was attentive, kind, and always ready to go the extra mile.
Looking back, we can honestly say that our wedding day was not only everything we imagined, but even more magical than we could have hoped for—and that is largely thanks to The Oakley, Alicia, Allyson, Ken and Cathy, and rest of the remarkable team. We feel so grateful to have chosen this venue and these people to be part of our celebration. The only complaint we walked away with after our big day, is that we cannot do it over and over again!
For anyone considering hosting their wedding or special event here, know that you will be in the best of hands. -

The Oakley is literally a dream! My husband and I just got married on 08/03 and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue! Not only is the venue absolutely breathtaking but the owners, and the coordinators were so amazing! They made the day run so smooth, and were very communicative! I cannot recommend them enough!!

Best decision since day 1!
I cannot express enough how incredible our experience was with The Oakley and our coordinator, Alicia.
The tour day, and our wedding day truly felt like a fairy tale come to life. Everything was seamless, just as Alicia promised from day one. We were able to rent the horse carriage and it made it feel even more like a fairy tale.
Choosing The Oakley and working with Alicia was undoubtedly the best decision we made in our wedding planning journey. -

The best wedding venue AND team you’ll ever find❤️
We booked the Oakley without even seeing it in person, that’s how good they are. My fiancé and I were living out of state when we were planning our Michigan wedding. Our parents went to visit the Oakley for us and basically told us it was the perfect venue and we would be crazy not to book it. Well, they were right. The second we started talking to Alicia over the phone, I knew this was the place I wanted to get married. Not only was she extremely professional, she also felt like someone we knew for years. You’re not just another wedding at the Oakley, you’re family. We spent 2 years planning our wedding and Alicia was always there for questions big and small, vendor recommendations, and support to help guide us through the planning process. The Oakley truly allows you to plan your perfect day down to each custom detail. Even the bar staff work one on one with you to create signature cocktails, and allow each couple to choose what specific alcohol you want on your big day. Not many venues allow you this much choice. Not only are the staff amazing, the venue space offers so much flexibility. Each couple has access to the venue from Friday to Sunday so you can really enjoy your day on Saturday without the stress of set up and tear down. Not only that, the grounds are amazingly tranquil and dreamy. So many of our guests were stunned at this private hidden gem. There are so many different spaces to utilize. We had our rehearsal dinner in the greenhouse on Friday night. We used the same space for a sunny cocktail hour on the patio. The reception space is a perfect modern but classic blank slate for whatever wedding vision you have. I can’t thank Alicia and the rest of the Oakley staff enough. We felt cared for, heard, supported, and loved from the moment we booked them. I already miss the Oakley team and wish we could do it all over again! -

Book this place!
If you’re looking for a unique and beautiful wedding venue, this is the spot! Our wedding was July 29 2023 and I can honestly say the whole day was absolutely perfect. The venue coordinator, Alicia, was so knowledgeable throughout the process and made sure everything was executed perfectly. From the first time we toured the venue to the day of our wedding she was there for any questions that we had. Wedding planning can be so overwhelming, but Alicia and her team made it easy and seamless. We had access to the venue starting the Friday before until the Sunday after. What I loved about The Oakley was that they only do one wedding a weekend so you are their priority for the whole weekend. The property itself is well kept and expansive. All of our guests raved about how beautiful it was.

Dream venue
We truly could not have conjured up a better team to work with if we tried. The team at The Oakley are incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and above all - ON TOP OF IT. We spent two years planning our wedding and not once over that time span did we feel overwhelmed or confused after leaving a meeting or conversation with Alicia McKay. She helped us stay organized, kept an open line of communication, and made sure we weren’t forgetting any small details that otherwise would be easy to overlook. On wedding day, Alicia and her team were a DREAM. I am still in awe of how smoothly and nonchalantly they made sure everything ran. Aside from the incredible team, the venue itself is a dream. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the experience the venue has to offer - from beautiful landscape, gorgeous horses on the property, and a bright and elegant indoor area. There aren’t enough words to explain how highly we recommend The Oakley. -

How amazing
Words cannot describe the wonderful service the oakley provides. From the month of coordinator, to the amazing estates, the up-to-date modern decor. Alicia contacted all of my venders, created a detailed schedule, i literally did nothing. Falicia & Alicia made my wedding day go so smoothly. They made my entire wedding SO easy. The entire venue is kept up with so well, it is a luxury event.
I recommend this venue to EVERYONE. I cannot express enough how perfect my wedding was and i am extremely picky and a perfectionist. -

Absolutely amazing Venue! Our day turned out absolutely perfect! The beautiful Ceremony area, the bridal suite, the reception area and the new Cocktail/ secrete courtyard area! Highly recommend The Oakley! Not only is it a beautiful venue, but above all, they are phenomenal people to work with. My husband and I had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic and Alicia and the rest of the team made it an easy transition as well allowed us to celebrate our original wedding date with them in a small ceremony. You can feel how much they love being a space to celebrate and genuinely want the best for you. While we already had two weddings there, if we were going to go for a third it would totally be at The Oakley. -

we had the absolute best day thanks to The Oakley! Alicia was absolutely amazing to work with and made everything so easy, any issues, changes anything she gladly made them and took care of them! any questions we had she was always so quick to get back with us! the owners are also extremely easy to work with, they made everything we wanted work without hesitation! The venue is kept so nice and so clean, and it alone is beautiful without decor! The grounds are kept so nice, with such a large variety of locations to take photos! Truly an amazing venue but even better when they are so easy to work with! Couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day and owe it all to them for making my day so magical! -

Perfect wedding venue!
Our wedding was wonderful! The venue is perfect for an outdoor and indoor experience. Alicia helps with so much and made our wedding day stress-free. We had plenty of time to setup and I loved that we had the option to take-down the next day and not the night of our wedding. -

The Oakley
What an amazing venue!! Their 40 acres is the most peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful venue we’ve ever seen. Their “horse barn” transformation is stunning!! Wood beam ceiling, leather chandeliers, a beautiful bar that you can use inside and outside! Driving up through the gates and white picket fencing!! -

This process is going GREAT!! We’re getting married in July. We searched over 6 months for a venue but we finally found THE OAKLEY. After seeing the pictures online I knew we had to make a visit. My fiancé and I absolutely love the venue coordinator Alicia. But we ultimately knew we made the right choice after speaking with the owners. We feel welcomed and very special to say the least. This venue is so beautiful and you can still smell the fresh new paint. THE OAKLEY is the best choice for a wedding!! -

We were so extremely lucky to be the first wedding to take place at the Oakley and I am so glad that we were! The venue is absolutely stunning!!! My husband and I live in England so we had to do most of our planning from overseas. Alicia did an amazing job coordinating with us and even attending some of our potential vendor meetings. I was quite nervous planning a wedding from so far away, but Alicia made it easy and answered all my questions and concerns at the drop of a hat. The actual wedding day went above and beyond my expectations! The bridal suite is so elegant and perfect for the pre-wedding photos of the bridal party! The ceremony space was also breathtaking with a view of their pond and the endless woods in the background. The photos of the ceremony came out beautifully and just as I wanted them! The venue itself, my guests would not stop talking about!! The chandeliers and the other lighting features were definitely a big hit with our guests! It was definitely one of our favourites too! Not only that, but the indoor/outdoor bar was perfect for our cocktail hour and reception! The venue is elegant and modern and beyond breathtaking. I could go on for days talking about the venue! But honestly, the Oakley is a beautiful venue that I recommend you take a look at! However, for me, the amazing venue wasn’t the only reason why I chose this location. In addition to this gorgeous venue, I got a loving and caring family that was willing to do anything to make sure our wedding day was everything we dreamed of. That is what made me choose this venue! I am so lucky and blessed to have been able to get married at the Oakley. Thank you so much to the McKay family for making our day so special! I can’t wait to see all the lovely weddings that take place here!

Beth Sent on 09/21/2018I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue! The outdoor ceremony was beautiful. The indoor reception had everything we wanted and more. The bridal suite was amazing. I had a large group of girls getting ready plus our hair stylists and there was more than enough room. The co-owner and venue coordinator, Alicia, was very quick to respond to any questions I had and also had a lot of helpful recommendations. I was hoping to get some sunset pictures on their land and she even went as far as taking us out there on their golf cart so we didn’t have to walk and showed us the perfect spot. They’re super friendly and very organized! The entire day went by so smoothly.

Where do I begin?! Alicia and The Oakley team were beyond amazing! Alicia was extremely flexible, kind, personable, and responsive. She made us feel comfortable and stress free throughout the process and especially the day of! The vendor list that she provided was extremely helpful! We went with Redwood Steakhouse for catering and Ruby Slipper for the beautiful farmhouse tables! Our wedding was perfect! I received so many compliments from our guests about the different places to hang out! It is such a flexible venue that you can truly make your own! I HIGHLY recommend The Oakley to whoever is planning their next big event! -
