Scott at the music boutique was one of the first vendors we booked and from the beginning he made us feel so heard. He checked in on us throughout the planning process, which made me feel he cared about this day as much as we did!
They really went above and beyond for our day and we will forever appreciate that! Scott mentioned that he couldn't find on of our special songs so he actually went and transcribed it himself!

I recently hired The Music Boutique for my wedding ceremony. Throughout the process Scott was wonderful! He understood my needs and the vibe I was looking to achieve, so from the start I knew I was in good hands. The day of my wedding he exceeded these already great expectations. As I was sequestered waiting for my walk down the aisle, I could hear him playing and every single song I found myself saying "I love this song!". His talent is extraordinary and it offered such a perfect background to our guests arriving. My pre and processional songs were tailored (in the moment!) to the length of time needed and also jazzed up to match my own personality! We additionally had him play during the cocktail hour and it just created the absolute perfect atmosphere. I still have guests sending me notes complimenting his playing! All and all, if you need a wedding pianist or musicians, definitely hire The Music Boutique!!! -

Best decision ever!
We got married in November at the Silver Bay YMCA, and we cannot recommend Scott and his team enough. We knew we wanted a live band for part of our wedding and they were the best band we could have chosen. Our first meeting with Scott we could tell he understood our wedding day vision right away and was willing to work with us on learning new music to fulfill our nerdy requests. For example the team learned acoustic versions of 90's alternative songs, and the groomsmen and bridal party walked down the aisle to Legend of Zelda, my wife walked down the aisle to Nightmare before Christmas, and then we recessed to Studio Ghibli. Cocktail hr, all our guests commented how amazing the band was and how they enjoyed the live music. If you want something different for your wedding, we were thoroughly impressed at the musical abilities and made our music dreams come true. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with The Music Boutique and the violinist Scott arranged for our wedding ceremony. From the moment she began playing, our guests were genuinely delighted. The music added such a beautiful, intimate touch and instantly elevated the entire atmosphere. What impressed me most was how flawlessly she handled our song list. I gave her about a dozen somewhat obscure selections roughly a month before the wedding, and she absolutely nailed every single one. It was clear she came prepared and took the music seriously, and the result felt personal and incredibly special to us. The Music Boutique also provided a microphone for the ceremony, which ended up being immensely helpful and took a huge stress off our plate. On top of that, their professionalism was outstanding: they set up and shut down seamlessly, neatly, and without needing any oversight from us or our coordinator. Everything just… happened, smoothly and quietly in the background, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. Scott was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process: friendly, organized, responsive, and genuinely easy to communicate with. He checked in periodically in the months leading up to the wedding, made the entire process simple, and most importantly, made me feel completely confident going into the day. Overall, this was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The ceremony music was a standout detail that set the stage for the rest of a beautiful night. Better than we could have hoped for
To start, working with Scott to figure out what we were even looking for was a huge help. My wife and I are not musicians but thought live music would be a great addition to the celebration. We settled on a jazz trio with an upright bass, keyboard, and sax.
He was organized and constructive with that "before" process and totally professional.
The music was perfect. His crew were great. They were all friendly and professional as well as excellent musicians. It seemed like they were also really enjoying being there and having fun, not just working another gig. It made our day feel really special.

Scott was incredible to work with for our wedding day. I have always dreamed of walking down the aisle to specific song, played on the piano with cello and Scott made this a reality! Scott and his team were absolutely amazing! Everything was exactly how I envisioned it. Scott was so pleasant and easy to work with — he checked in frequently throughout the planning process and had a detailed call with us about a month before the ceremony to go over all of our music choices.
Live music was such an important part of our day, and they made everything feel so special and stress-free. Our guests absolutely loved the music at both the ceremony and the reception — it was beautiful from start to finish. I can’t wait to relive it all again when we watch our wedding video. 🎼❤️

Working with Scott and his team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From start to finish, the communication was outstanding. Scott was patient, professional, and made sure every detail was just right.
We had a trio of piano, cello, and violin that sounded absolutely breathtaking. Scott was able to take our special song requests and arrange them beautifully, far exceeding our expectations. Scott and The Music Boutique team brought amazing live music to our wedding in June. We worked with Scott and the team to have guitar and violin at our ceremony, and guitar with vocals at our cocktail hour. Both were amazing we received many compliments from our guests. Scott went above and beyond to help us understand music options for our day and helped with specific song selections for the type of vibe that we wanted to have. My husband likes particular genres of music and the team was able to learn and play the kinds songs that he loves, too. It was such a nice feeling to enter our ceremony with great live music!
Scott was also one of the best vendors to work with in terms of communication, flexibility, and bringing in a sense of calm to the craziness of planning a wedding. The whole team was very professional and we feel that value was top notch.

From the very beginning, Scott from The Music Boutique was warm, organized, creative, and just incredibly easy to work with. He helped us figure out a musical plan that felt personal and unique to us: a violin/cello/piano trio for the ceremony, a duo for cocktail hour, and then a mix of live instruments and DJing/emceeing for the reception. He really does it all.
My husband and I are a little nerdy and wanted songs from anime and video games, but also something romantic and elegant. Scott took our wishlist (Kingdom Hearts, Star Wars, One Piece, Elvis) and turned it into a soundtrack that somehow worked together beautifully. I will never forget walking down the aisle as he transitioned from Can’t Help Falling in Love into the Cantina Song, then Simple and Clean, and finally We Are. It was pure magic.
He also helped us with the timeline, cut our first dance and parent dances (thank you, truly), sent me demo recordings when I was anxious, and brought backup mics and speakers just in case. He really thought of everything and made the whole experience feel effortless.
We had a small wedding (about 40 people), and honestly, we were a little nervous about the music—our group isn’t big on dancing, and we weren’t sure what kind of vibe would feel right. But Scott read the room perfectly. Even though I gave him almost nothing to go on (my requests were basically “fun but not cheesy, not too cliché but still wedding-y?”), every single song felt right. And somehow, he had people on their feet dancing all night long. That was some kind of musical magic.
We’re still getting compliments on the music, and I’m just so grateful we found someone who cared as much as Scott did. He made the day feel magical and so us.
If you’re thinking of booking The Music Boutique—do it. Scott is the best.

We hired a jazz trio (inc. piano, sax, and bass) from The Music Boutique for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and holy cow were they amazing. Scott made the entire planning process incredibly easy and fun, was so accommodating in working with our vision (which included a few unique song requests), and him and his team absolutely elevated our ceremony and cocktail hour. Scott and the team at the Music Boutique were incredible to work with through every step of the planning process – even the part where Scott got COVID three days before the wedding and had to find replacements! Nobody at our wedding would ever have known about that, though, because everything throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was perfect, and really felt personalized for us. If you are looking for a combination of live music and a DJ at your event, Scott and Music Boutique are what you are looking for.

We absolutely loved our experience working with the Music Boutique. I loved having both live music for the cocktail hour and reception and DJ music to mix up the fun. There are also songs that will just never sound good as covers or moments like a Hora that are very specific. Having a truly talented Jazz pianist who can also DJ (like Scott), is a skill that few people have and it makes your event really special. Scott also collaborated with me to allow my friends to sing at my wedding, which was a very unique request. It went so well, and everyone LOVED IT. We cannot express how absolutely incredible our wedding was, and a huge part of that magic was thanks to Scott and The Music Boutique! From the moment they arrived, their professionalism and enthusiasm were evident. Scott was very responsive and he was super easy to work with creating our dream day.
The Music Boutique took the stage with an energy that instantly captivated our guests. Their live performance was nothing short of spectacular! The musicianship was top-notch. We chose a Piano, Violin and Cello trio, with some parts DJ’d. We had live music during our ceremony, reception and part of the reception. For our reception, they played movie theme songs in a classical version and everyone loved it.
Scott seamlessly transitioned between their live sets and DJ’d songs, they created an electric atmosphere that kept everyone engaged. They expertly read the room, playing everything from classic hits to modern favorites that resonated with our crowd. Scott and The Music Boutique even took the time to incorporate our song requests and special moments, making it feel personal and unique to our celebration.
Together, Scott and The Music Boutique created a phenomenal musical experience that exceeded all expectations. Our wedding was truly one to remember, and we’ve received countless compliments from our guests about how fantastic the entertainment was. If you’re looking for a group that can elevate your special day, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Scott and The Music Boutique. The Music Boutique was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, and always providing us with great ideas, suggestions, and guidance to make our day special.
We had a duo playing for our ceremony and during the cocktail hour and then we had a small 3 person band playing for our reception. And it was the perfect amount of people. We had spoken to some other bands and they all kept saying we need some big band for the reception, but since we were having less than 100 people at the wedding, we didn’t think it made sense to have like a 10 person band, it just seemed like it would overwhelm the whole wedding. And we knew we wanted a band component since my father plays guitar and I had a feeling would want to play a song at some point.
Then we spoke with Scott, he seemed to understand our vision of having a small band. He loved the idea of my father playing a song, and made suggestions on when was the perfect time for him to play, and even laughed along with our idea of playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, over and over again, since we were getting married on “the 21st night of September”!
The day of the band was amazing! They even took the time to learn our first dance song, which was a fairly unknown track, and played it beautifully, and surprised us with playing it. Since we thought it was just going to be a recorded version of the song. That was very special to us! And they were more than happy to let my dad play his song to us.
Overall, the band's performance was lively and engaging, and they kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help make our wedding celebration so memorable, and couldn’t have done it with Scott!The Music Boutique's reply:

I’m so happy with our choice to use the music boutique for our ceremony and cocktail hour music! Having live music as a part of our day was very important to us and we wanted to ensure it was done right - Scott and the music boutique delivered on our vision!
Throughout the planning process Scott was by far the most communicative and organized wedding vendor that I worked with. He is quick to respond and stays on top of timelines which made working with him so easy and stress free. He took the time to speak with me and my husband at multiple points along the planning journey to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it.
The ceremony was beautiful! Scott and his string trio performed the music perfectly and everything was timed to perfection. When it came time for me to walk down the aisle and I heard the string trio playing my song it brought all of our guests to tears and I couldn’t have asked for a better moment. The string trio also delivered on exactly what we had envisioned for cocktail hour mixing in some of our requested songs with songs of their own.
We used the Music Boutique to hire a saxophone artist to go along with our DJ and this was by far a highlight of the evening! We were looking for a very specific type of energy and worked really hard to ensure each aspect of our music selection delivered on that energy. The sax player really brought it home! He was lively and engaging and played all of our songs right along with our DJ. Multiple people commented on how great he was.

Hiring the Music Boutique was the best decision we made for our wedding. It was well worth the extra money to have instrumentals for our ceremony. Scott was incredibly easy to work with and always answered emails within the same day. He coordinated with our reception DJ so there was a seamless transition of audio. We loved having Scott and the Music Boutique play at our wedding! We had many conversations with Scott before the wedding to discuss our preferences, and he was happy to play different kinds of music including traditional jazz, funkier jazz, and pop covers. Our guests loved the variety! He was always happy to chat over email or the phone about details and to make recommendations. He had lots of great suggestions for the non-musical parts of the ceremony as well! He also did a great job MC-ing parts of the wedding, including toasts and the first dance, and they did a spontaneous Horah. Lastly, we appreciated being able to listen to his music online. They were easy to work with, super kind and understanding, and were able to seamlessly navigate through the chaos of the wedding. They even learned a bunch of new songs that we wanted to play that didn’t have sheet music, including the song I walked down the aisle to. They made my wedding dreams quite honestly come true. Excellent experience!
My wife and I got married at Crystal Springs on 3/11/23. Scott playing the Sax was perhaps the most memorable part of our wedding reception and something every single attendee has commented on. We wanted a DJ but to also have an element of live music- Scott fit right in! He played along with our DJs setlist, worked seamlessly with them to coordinate using the sound system, and was in the crowd having fun with everyone the entire time! A few months after my sister had finalized all of her other wedding vendors I convinced her she needed live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. I found The Music Boutique online while living in Nashville, TN. Scott was so wonderful to work with. Him and I were able to make all the arrangements over the phone/email and the day of performance was seamless despite loads of rain and never actually meeting in person. My sister and guests agreed the musicians made the wedding. We had 3 strings and Scott on the keyboard. They even worked out a surprise first dance performance. My husband and I used The Music Boutique and worked with Scott for our wedding. To say we are pleased is a major understatement! Scott and the musicians he provided exceeded our expectations and made the day perfect. During the process of planning our wedding, our venue had to increase restrictions on noise for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. Scott navigated these changes with professionalism which left us feeling very reassured during an unsettling time. He matched the perfect musicians for the ambience and the rules we had to abide by. We had strings for ceremony, jazz for cocktail hour and an acoustic trio for our dancing and reception. All of the musicians were great and the sound quality was perfect! Our guests all enjoyed it and had so much fun dancing! What stands out the most about Scott and his company is his attention to detail and care he put into planning this event. He frequently checked in with us and made changes as we needed. He was collaborative and shared his knowledge in a way that helped create a great event. Scott was an absolute pleasure to work with from our initial request all the way up through the conclusion of our event. His communication was timely, reliable and easy to understand. He was thorough in all of our planning, scheduling and details. The musicians were all dressed well, punctual and professional throughout the entire event. The string duo was absolutely perfect for the intimate room we were married in during our ceremony, and adding in the pianist to the mix for the reception ballroom gave us a wonderful soundscape to celebrate with our friends. We received tons of non-stop compliments on the music played which included foundational classics to classical takes on modern tunes. Our guests, plenty of whom would never have chosen a classical ensemble or this type of music for an event were thrilled with the ability to converse between themselves and other tables without shouting and made note of just how enjoyable it made sitting to eat and socializing and mixing around. We worked with Scott Arcangel to coordinate music for our wedding. He was a pleasure to work with, very nice and extremely patient with our many questions. He went above and beyond to make the performance turn out great. He found us a 4 man latin jazz band that included guitar, trumpet, piano and drums. One of the group members also sang and took the role of DJ/MC since we were not hiring a traditional DJ and we needed someone to announce our bridal party and first dances. You two are so nice - I loved getting to meet you and work with you to bring your celebration to life! I am certain I'll be playing for you again at another event somewhere down the road... can't wait :)

We booked a jazz trio through Scott Arcangel for our 2/12/21 wedding. Once we heard a sample of his music we knew that we had to have them there for our cocktail hour.
I had a consultation call with Scott about a year before our wedding, on the call I immediately felt comfortable speaking with him about our vision, he just got it. Scott's experience in the industry shined through as he really listened to me and answered almost all of my questions before I even got a chance to ask them.
Our winter wedding vibe was cozy, classic romance at David's Country Inn. With the restrictions at the time we had about half of our original guest list attend our wedding but Scott and his music warmed up the room and was the absolute perfect touch that we were looking for. One of my favorite moments from our wedding day was when my new husband and I stood alone on the balcony, looking down at our guests and during cocktail hour. I felt like my husband and I were floating in this perfect bubble and Scott's jazz trio will forever be the backdrop in this memory.
As we got closer to the event Scott would occasionally touch base via text to confirm any last minute details. It was the perfect amount of communication in the final weeks for me. Scott was always professional and made the entire process from consultation, to booking, to confirming final details to execution. We would love to have Scott's jazz trio at another one of our events in the future!
I also want to add that his jazz trio was so enchanting during our cocktail hour that our friends who were in our wedding party, connected with him that night and then booked him within a week for their upcoming wedding in May! So we got to enjoy his music all over again just three months later!The Music Boutique's reply:
