  These people know how to cater an event!
  
  I was worried about the catering for my outdoor tent-reception. I was not sure how any vendor would be able to battle the hot tempratures and less than ideal facilities. However, the food at my outdoor wedding ended up being totally amazing, delicious and creative and one of the most talked about details. They even dyed the sushi rice used to make my appetizers in the colors of my reception. Smart and creative touches that left my guests feeling fat and happy! One of the most important components to any good reception is the food. If you want amazing, budget-friendly fare, book with Moveable Feast!

  Dan and his entire staff are wonderful! They are able to deal with almost any situation with professionalism and a quiet grace. Although the weather conditions weren't perfect for them at our event, our guests were blissfully unaware!

  The Moveable Feast Catering was the exact business that I needed for our wedding. I wanted an all Vegetarian reception with creative and delicious food. Dan was totally laid back and yet extremely professional. He worked with our budget and with what we wanted to make it happen. The food itself was so good!! Even the most skeptical meat eaters were raving about the food!
  
  We also ordered all our wine/beer, table linens and serving ware through him. I really did not worry about a thing and Dan did not disappoint! I would highly recommend the Moveable Feast catering!

  Moveable Feast Catering catered my summer backyard wedding in Michigan. When we first started meeting with them about nine months before the wedding, Kimberly was my representative. She was incredibly helpful and drove 45+ minutes to our house (the site of the wedding) to survey the property and give suggestions before we had even officially booked with them. Needless to say, we did! They were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the process--even when Kimberly quit working there to stay home with her new child. My next rep, Dan, was no different. He was also incredibly helpful and really devoted himself to making sure every detail of my wedding was perfectly planned out. And did I mention the food? It was amazing. Since my husband is Half-Mexican and I am Half-Vietnamese, we decided to provide guests with three "serving stations," one Asian, one Mexican and one American. The food was absolutely delicious, and the chef's even took my dad's suggestions on making the perfect mini-Bahn Mi. Each station even had cute decorations to match the themes! The bartenders also did a great job making sure everyone was having a good time, and preparing our signature drink, which was a Watermelon Mojito. We also used Cheryl, their pastry chef, for our cake. Both my husband and I were really not that excited about the cake (we're more in to savory snacks), but that all changed when we got to taste it. It was beautiful and absolutely delicious. If there's one thing we regret about our wedding it's that we didn't get to eat all three layers of it! All in all, Moveable Feast brought my Pinterest dreams to life, and selecting them was one of the best decisions I made.

  Professional management and staffing, versatile and healthful menu options, and perfect execution.

  To say that our expectations were exceeded is a great understatement. Your staff, and Nancy specifically, executed our event flawlessly. So many of our guests congratulated us on having chosen such an exceptional vendor and were so very complimentary of your staff. One guest joked that he was ‘sorry 🤣 we would have a flat tire on the way home…because an event just couldn’t be that perfect!’ I certainly give credit as well to [our wedding coordinators] who recommended you; but your staff was a great part of that.
  
  And I thank you personally for calming my concerns a few days before our event about the worst case possibilities with power outages. Thank you for responding to me so quickly.

  The Moveable Feast was by-far the best choice we made for our Big Day! Dan and his team were so professional and knowledgeable. They had worked our venue before and offered great advice to make the day run smoothly. Dan took the time to make sure we got everything we wanted/needed and even went above and beyond to help set up the "day of" - I couldn't sing his praises enough! To top it all off, his food was amazing! - the guests have talked non-stop about it! I also find it important to add (especially when penny pinching is a must) that he made sure to work within our budget and was able to get us more than we even thought possible for the money. So happy we chose The Moveable Feast and will definitely work with them in the future!

  We used the Moveable Feast for our wedding day and couldn't be more pleased with how everything went! Dan is great to work with, the food was excellent, and his staff was professional and organized throughout the whole process. We worked with Dan for the food for dinner reception, cocktail hour spread, rentals, bartenders and servers. We have received many compliments on how delicious everything was, and more importantly, we were able to be relaxed and worry free knowing that all details were in place and organized. In addition, Dan and his staff catered to my (many) allergies/dietary restrictions without even having to ask - we chose to do a buffet style dinner, and they went out of their way to prepare and serve me a plate for dinner and cocktail hour that had been made separately. We also utilized the same space for our wedding ceremony and reception, and Dan and his staff were able to 'flip the room' within a short period of time without concern or stress.

  Sherry is nothing short of amazing when it comes to planning perfect events with delicious food. She had all kinds of great ideas and creative ways to stretch our budget and give us exactly what we wanted. She was highly responsive to every email (and trust me, there were a lot!), and was always so polite and cheery! We met a few times prior to our wedding and she took detailed notes and eased any concerns I had. I absolutely loved working with her!
  
  Michelle and the team of waitstaff that worked our event were top notch. They were highly professional, hard-working, polite and went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were well taken care of. Our guests LOVED the food and gave us so many compliments on the delicious and over-the-top menu, which was completely gluten free!
  
  Hiring The Moveable Feast was one of the best decisions we made. They took care of all of the nitty gritty details right down to lighting the candles. We highly recommend them and will always reach out to them for our catering needs.

  Amazing food and team

  We used The Moveable Feast for our wedding in January 2021. Planning was easy with Sherry and she was very flexible with our pandemic planning. The food itself was absolutely amazing - definitely the best food I've ever had at a wedding, and I've had multiple guests reach out to me to not only compliment the food, but to ask who we used so that they can pass the info on to others looking for caterers. We did the heavy appetizer option and felt that the pricing was unbeatable, and it was so hard to choose the foods because they all sounded so wonderful. We also used their desserts and everything was great, we especially loved the attention to detail on the sugar cookies. I also loved that "A Moveable Feast" is an Ernest Hemingway book, since we had a literary themed wedding, and visited Ernest Hemingway's home on our honeymoon! I would use The Moveable Feast over and over again.

I loved how flexible they were and that I could pick and choose exactly what items I needed and wanted. I am STILL getting compliments on how great the food and service was.   The Moveable Feast did an excellent job with our wedding. We were very happy and heard from many of our guest it was the best food they have ever had! We also had just the right amount of left overs that we were able to feast like kings our first week as newlyweds. I worked with Kim and she was very flexible and worked with what we wanted. I would defiantly recommend them.

  We used Moveable Feast for our wedding and were blown away! The service and food exceeded our expectations! The staff was very attentive and I have never had food this good at an event. Our guests raved about the food for a whole week following our wedding. We highly recommend for any event!

  Want to have a wonderful wedding? Get into contact with Dan at The Moveable Feast! Dan did such an amazing job, we could not have asked for more. The food was FANTASTIC, and so was the staff. Anything we asked for Dan managed to get it or take care of it for us. He even brought his trucks down to the park and cooked on site. You can't get fresher than that. I went back to work 4 days after the wedding and my co-workers are still raving about how good the food was! We told him our budget and he made it work for us. He is so so easy to work with. It turned out to be a perfect day and 90% of that was because of the Moveable Feast. They all made our day seamless! I would recommend this company to anyone getting married. This company is AMAZING and should not be overlooked in any way shape or form!

  Dan and his staff was wonderful to work with! He was very flexible to work with us within our budget but still was able to have an elegant wedding. We also used for our rehearsal dinner and everyone was so impressed. At our wedding, guests raved, it was the best food they ever had. The presentation was wonderful. Our wedding was outdoors, in August, in a tent and the tables were dressed beautifully and everything just came together as he promised. He covered everything from the tent, to chairs, tables, linens to food, he can do it all. We will use him in the future when we can.
