2025 National Revenue Team Meeting

Wow! This was the best cover band I have ever heard in my entire career / life. They were absolutely ON FIRE during the event and my entire 60 person team cannot stop talking about the energy they brought. They were also incredibly easy to work with and really took the time to understand the intent of our event and crafted the perfect set list. Book The Motts - you will not regret it!!

The Best Choice You Can Make

This was one of the first vendors we booked. It was a no-brainer. They have a great song list and put on the best show. Every guest was complimenting us on our choice of entertainment all night long, and I actually still get compliments months later. Michael is great to work with and he is so talented. I would recommend hiring The Motts to anybody looking for good live music.

Professional in every way!

The most professional and easy going! The Motts were literally the cherry on top for our wedding. They traveled all the way to Marfa and basically owned the show needing little direction and even learned our first dance song. The Motts are excellent at understanding the vibe wanted for your wedding reception and know how to smoothly keep that vibe going. From their correspondence to their attire on stage they were great to work with. Would highly recommend!

Best Wedding Band Ever!

I could not be happier that we chose The Motts for our wedding!! They are talented musicians, but lots of bands have talented musicians. What sets these guys apart is their ability to read the crowd and keep the party going. The only time my husband and I left the dance floor was on the bands breaks and I think that was only because we also needed a break lol! The Mott’s were awesome to work with too! Super professional. I told them the songs we didn’t want to hear and the top songs we wanted to hear. Their set list was perfect. They even learned a few songs for us to make our favorite day ever even more special. If you are having trouble deciding on a wedding band, stop looking and book The Motts!

Incredible wedding band!

The Motts played at our wedding in Marathon, Texas and absolutely blew us away. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and all our guests were asking us where we found them. They made the wedding a party for everyone, and we couldn't have been happier with their performance.

Fun party music!!!

Michael Jeff and the guys were a blast! They have a great catalog of fun party music. They had everyone dancing until the end! Would totally recommend!

Made Our Wedding Weekend!!

I attended my sweet friend's Texas wedding and the band was out of this world fun!!!

This band made the wedding so memorable. Sharing love and fun with family and friends on a dance floor with music and vibes after a beautiful wedding. WOW. All I can say is thank you to this band for making this moment amazing for Michelle and David. You became part of the family in a quick moment. Great band!

Great to work with and very flexible. We initially engaged them in 2019, but due to COVID had to push back to 2022. They were very accomodating. Amazing music made a great reception and atmosphere. Everyone at our wedding loved the band!

Book the Motts! You wont Regret!

The Motts are a kickass band! They have their own unique style that is hard to beat. Everybody couldn't stop dancing. They also helped me coordinate ceremony musicians to play before, during and after the ceremony. They are very responsive and make things go very smooth on the day of. Book the Motts!

AMAZING!!!! 100% would hire again

The Mott’s were amazing! We had so many people come up to us and tell us they were one of the best bands they’ve seen at a wedding. I was nervous at first as their song list was a little bit of older music but my husband and dad loved them and so we went with them. I was so glad we did and loved having them at our event. Guests young and old were on the dance floor all night. I requested a fiddle and he was able to get one for us and play the two songs we wanted “devil went down to Georgia” and if you’re gonna play in Texas you gotta have a fiddle in the band. They learned these songs for us as we’re both from Texas but currently live in Georgia.

Must hire this band!

This band is AWESOME! Great song selection for all generations and high energy! We didn’t provide a song list but they read the crowd and had everyone dancing all night. Very easy to work with and Michael was super flexible after we had to postpone (the only vendor that didn’t try to charge a ridiculous fee for rescheduling during a pandemic) and as we revised the timeline in the weeks before. So many guests said they were the best event band and we couldn’t agree more. If you want great entertainment and people dancing all night, I highly recommend using The Motts!

Simply the best!

I always knew the Motts would be incredible as our band selection for our wedding because I had the pleasure of hearing them play at a work function a couple years ago. They did not disappoint!!! They learned quite a few very important songs for us and were a joy to work with. And they have an awesome stage presence. Everyone, from the professional musicians in our wedding party to those guests who we never expected to be on the dance floor, raved about the performance the Motts gave, and everyone who could physically dance gave it a whirl that night. They are seriously the best. Also, they were so sweet to let the best man steal the stage for a bit during his toast to play a lovely song for us. The Motts really made our night complete! :)

The Motts Rock

Could not recommend Michael and The Motts more - they put on such an amazing show that was fun, lively, and different than your typical "wedding band." They're so talented - their covers of Willie and Nathaniel Rateliff were particularly awesome. They had everyone dancing, singing, smiling. They were super open to "requests" and actually played the songs we requested! They covered Real Love Baby for our first dance and I swear it sounded better than FJM.

Beyond that, they're also super kind -- Michael was so understanding as we had to cancel our original wedding due to Covid. He was responsive, flexible, and warm as we went back and forth trying to find a date that was safe and worked for our families/friends/other vendors. (I cannot say the same about other vendors, haha.) His kindness really went a long way. It was a hard time for everyone - bands especially - but he was understanding and empathetic throughout.

I'm such a fan! Highly recommend.

The best cover band!!!

The Motts played our wedding and I was extremely impressed by their talent! We didn't have a chance to hear them before the wedding, they were recommended by the venue and I would recommend them 100 times over. They learned 4 new songs for us, including our first dance song. It was perfect and honestly sounded better than the real thing. They played such a wide variety of music and all of it sounded perfect! So many of our wedding guests came up to us during and after the reception to tell us how great the Motts were!! Book them. You won't regret it.

Badass band

If you’re looking for not your typical wedding band the Motts are the ones to go with! When looking for a band my husband I and knew we both didn’t want your everyday wedding band that played corny songs and so it was hard to find a good fit. We got so incredibly Lucky coming across this group. They have an extensive list of songs they know it’s almost impossible to pick from the list the provide! Ha. With that being said they brought our day to a whole other level and we both wish we could see them play every weekend. Would highly recommend!

The Motts were Fantastic!!

The Motts just played at our daughters wedding! They were fantastic!!! They were a great cover band with a super variety of music. There was a request for a special song for the couples dance and they learned the song ahead of time to make their first dance as a couple special. They play to the crowd and were a super fun wedding band!! Highly recommend!!

Highlight of our Conference!

The best band we have ever had and we cannot wait to have them return! Amazing talent and energy- we have never asked a band to play an additional hour but it was hard not to.

The perfect wedding band!!

We hired The Motts for our wedding on 11/23/19. They were perfect! All of our guests were very happy! They had everyone dancing even the most unlikely people! Michael(lead vocals and band leader) is incredible at mimicking various vocalists and has terrific energy. The band was very tight and professional. We chose the package with the addittional horn section, which was well worth it. Although our wedding was over 2 months ago, we are still receiving compliments from guests regarding the band we chose to play our wedding. Its remarkable how genuine the responses have been and how much fun everyone had. We can't recommend them enough.

Best Cover Band I've Ever Heard. Bar None.

The Motts are absolutely incredible. There are so many things I can say, but I'll just share a few. 1. Incredible performers. Their mastery of songs and execution is unmatched. Repeatedly I had guests asks me, "Who is this band?! They're awesome! Where did you find them?" Multiple thank you notes we've received since the party have commented on how great The Motts were.2. Great to work with. I had a special request and a cameo singer and they made it so easy. 3. Crazy fun. I mean super-fun. Michael's energy is amazing. If you like quality rock and roll, super fun dance music, and a seamless, professional experience, The Motts are who you want.

They made my party! A 60th bday party with 70 people.

They were fantastic. Great entertainment. Michael (the lead) is SO great. Sang fun songs and perfect music to dance to. Every guest was on their feet the whole night.

Wow! What an awesome band!

If you are looking for a band for you wedding celebration, look no more. We had all ages at our event and everyone enjoyed them equally. The lead singer, Michael has a gift of sounding exactly like the artists on the original recordings. Great musicians!

If I had 100 weddings I’d hire The Motts everytime!

It’s been a few months since the wedding and my friends are still talking about how incredible our band was. One of our friends has even sought the band out around town just to see them play again. You will feel like you hired a famous band to play your wedding. They are THAT GOOD!

The motts are the best

The Motts are absolutely phenomenal. They are just the best. If you are looking for a wedding band that is exceptionally talented, professional, and customizes their performance perfectly to your event (who doesn't?), then they're your man. The Motts are masters at feeling the energy of the party and building it perfectly. They play all ranges of genres and songs, and they KILL them all. I wish my venue allowed us to stay later because we would have been thrilled to have them play for hours more.

Exceeded All Expectations!!

Heart & Soul evening

We hired The Motts for our classic style wedding reception because my fiance knew a member of the band. They are amazing- we included the horn section for an 8 piece band full of soul that perfectly imitated the original artists from the classic Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, and Frank Sinatra to current day artists like Nathaniel Rateliff. Not only did our guests have fun, but the band themselves looked like they didn't want to leave the stage at the end of the night. Our guests were jingling their bell ornament favors along with the band during the final song. The band definitely made the night a hit!

We cannot say enough great things about this band! All of our guests said they made the reception! They took all of our considerations into account and even learned new songs to accommodate us! These guys rock. Michael and his band were incredibly easy to work with -- before our wedding, and day of. They delivered an epic performance that our guests are still talking about to this day. One of the many great qualities of this band was their ability to understand the vibe of their audience. Our guests were from all walks of life, young and old. Everyone danced the whole night!

There were a few songs not in their repertoire that were very important to us. One being our first dance. They learned how to play these songs and it made our wedding unforgettable and so special. To hear a band play your song -- instead of a DJ -- it was one of the best feelings in the world.

Hire them! They're amazing musicians and incredibly professional. And they're super fun :)

EVERYONE at the wedding was completely blown away by this band. The dance floor never emptied. Great mix of music and tempo. I saw people dancing that I NEVER thought I'd see on a dance floor! Michael and the guys are incredibly professional and most excellent! Highest possible recommendation! My youngest daughter, who swore a blood vow never to get married, told me she has to get married now just to have THE MOTTS play!

We had the privilege of hiring the Motts to play our wedding back in October of 2016. Crafting a wedding is, as many of you are likely realizing, is a fraught and stressful process. We had to deal with many vendors and suppliers who were unresponsive, dismissive, and disingenuous. Fortunately, the Motts rose above all of that and really provided us with an amazing experience. Michael was a pleasure to work with leading up to the big day. He was able to field lots and lots and lots of our questions around their playlists and schedules with patience and responsiveness. As for their performance itself, they were spectacular. The Motts are excellent at reading a crowd, knowing when to change up the playlist (or work with the Bridesmaids to surprise us) all in all excellent performers. My advice to anyone hiring them, let them do their thing, they are the experts at this. Don't try to micromanage them!

When we look back on our wedding, talk to guests who were with us that evening, look at pictures, etc. one of the first things that always comes up is how great The Motts were! It was (obviously) the best day of our lives, but I don't think it would have been nearly as special or memorable without The Motts bringing their fun, professional, wonderful music to the evening. This is a top-notch wedding (or any event) band, and are a total steal compared to the other groups out there. Song selections were terrific, and were even catered to our requests. Communication was wonderful from day1, and with all the juggling that was going on with wedding planning I knew we were in good hands music-wise with Michael and the guys. Book them for your event, you won't be sorry!!

The Motts were great! We hired them for our wedding and were very happy with everything from the performance to dealing with them on the business end. The show is high energy, fun to dance or just to watch, and they can do the slow numbers too! They have a great stage presence and a refreshingly different setlist than most wedding bands. The Motts were the perfect wedding band! They are very professional, easy to work with, and best of all, are excellent musicians/performers. They have a huge list of songs in their repertoire that you can pick songs you like from, and they craft a setlist for your event. The song list is great and ranges from classic rock to soul to Texas country, and everything in between. Michael is a seasoned performer and knows how to get crowds on the dance floor. They made our special day one to remember!

I cannot recommend this band enough!!!!
We saw them once and knew we had to book them! Besides being super talented and great entertainers, they are just plain nice guys. They had ALL of our wedding guests dancing and singing along! They were super accommodating, on time, professional and gave 100% to even our small event. We are fans for life and give them our highest recommendation!

We are so happy that The Motts were able to do our wedding. From the very beginning the band was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. We were able to pick the songs played and they even (unbeknownst to me) worked with my husband so that he could join them on stage to sing two special songs for me. Great musicians, a hell of a lot of fun and just very good guys. Everyone at my wedding LOVED them. I highly recommend the Motts. Thanks, y'all!

The Motts played at our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception which was held at the Red Corral Ranch in Wimberley Texas. They were a great band and so easy and pleasant to work with. They had a tough job that night because the guests were from the East Coast, Austin and various areas of East and West Texas. They had everyone dancing and were able to play a variety of music that kept everyone happy and dancing. My husband and I could not have been more pleased with the music. Weddings can be stressful to plan. Thankfully the one thing we did not have to think about was the music before or during the wedding.

Being that the band - and I hesitate to refer to The Motts as a "wedding band" as they're so much cooler than that title sounds - is such a big part of a wedding reception, and oh, the stresses of wedding planning, and don't get me started on my mother-in-law...I'll admit - I procrastinated in booking a band. And of course, all of the usual popular choices were booked. Or so expensive I was assuming they'd be serenading us on our wedding night as part of their gig. Luckily, my photographer suggested I check out The Motts. She mentioned the various bands the members were in, and before I'd even heard them play, I knew they were our band. Like all my vendors, my main qualifier for our band was, "can I trust them?" I didn't want to have to tell them how to do their job, or have to answer every random little question along the way. I wanted professional, experienced, and trustworthy. And I got that, plus some. I didn't even give them a list of songs to play or not to play - I knew I could trust them to not play crap and keep the dance floor hopping. And they definitely surpassed my expectations! The dance floor was never empty and even now - a year later - I'm still having wedding guests compliment The Motts! (And some of those wedding guests had bands that cost 5x as much play at their weddings!) Even my mother-in-law raved about them and didn't want them to stop when the night was over!

Not to be biased... but the best wedding I have ever attended! Cannot say enough about The Motts, true professionals that happen to be extremely talented musicians. Going on over a year and still receive phone calls about what band played on our special night. Would not recommend anyone else!

I can't say enough good things about the Motts. They have a certain cool factor, musicianship and authenticity I really appreciate in a party band. Michael is a rockstar! They had my whole wedding dancing like crazy from start to finish. My family and guests could not stop raving about them the next day and STILL bring up that epic dance party. They even learned Tupelo Honey for my Dad and I. I have hired them again since and recommend them every chance I get. :)

One of the best parts of our wedding! They put on a great performance and made the party extremely fun. Guests were raving about the band to us and one friend even booked them right after for their wedding! 10/10!

We were looking for a band to play our wedding that wasn't a cheesy cover band, yet still played songs all of our guests would know and dance to. The Motts perfectly fit the bill! They played a great dinner set and then transitioned perfectly into two dance sets. Our dance floor was packed the entire time - exactly what we wanted! The guys were super nice, and engaged with the crowd in an entertaining yet not annoying way. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who prefers Good Hearted Woman to Brick House for your event.
