We are so happy that The Motts were able to do our wedding. From the very beginning the band was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. We were able to pick the songs played and they even (unbeknownst to me) worked with my husband so that he could join them on stage to sing two special songs for me. Great musicians, a hell of a lot of fun and just very good guys. Everyone at my wedding LOVED them. I highly recommend the Motts. Thanks, y'all! -

We cannot say enough great things about this band! All of our guests said they made the reception! They took all of our considerations into account and even learned new songs to accommodate us! Their playlist is extensive and there’s absolutely something for everyone! OUR FAVORITE SPECIAL EVENT BAND EVER!!! -

I cannot recommend this band enough!!!!
We saw them once and knew we had to book them! Besides being super talented and great entertainers, they are just plain nice guys. They had ALL of our wedding guests dancing and singing along! They were super accommodating, on time, professional and gave 100% to even our small event. We are fans for life and give them our highest recommendation! -

The Motts were Fantastic!!
The Motts just played at our daughters wedding! They were fantastic!!! They were a great cover band with a super variety of music. There was a request for a special song for the couples dance and they learned the song ahead of time to make their first dance as a couple special. They play to the crowd and were a super fun wedding band!! Highly recommend!! -

AMAZING!!!! 100% would hire again
The Mott’s were amazing! We had so many people come up to us and tell us they were one of the best bands they’ve seen at a wedding. I was nervous at first as their song list was a little bit of older music but my husband and dad loved them and so we went with them. I was so glad we did and loved having them at our event. Guests young and old were on the dance floor all night. I requested a fiddle and he was able to get one for us and play the two songs we wanted “devil went down to Georgia” and if you’re gonna play in Texas you gotta have a fiddle in the band. They learned these songs for us as we’re both from Texas but currently live in Georgia. -

Must hire this band!
This band is AWESOME! Great song selection for all generations and high energy! We didn’t provide a song list but they read the crowd and had everyone dancing all night. Very easy to work with and Michael was super flexible after we had to postpone (the only vendor that didn’t try to charge a ridiculous fee for rescheduling during a pandemic) and as we revised the timeline in the weeks before. So many guests said they were the best event band and we couldn’t agree more. If you want great entertainment and people dancing all night, I highly recommend using The Motts! -

Incredible wedding band!
The Motts played at our wedding in Marathon, Texas and absolutely blew us away. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and all our guests were asking us where we found them. They made the wedding a party for everyone, and we couldn't have been happier with their performance. -

Professional in every way!
The most professional and easy going! The Motts were literally the cherry on top for our wedding. They traveled all the way to Marfa and basically owned the show needing little direction and even learned our first dance song. The Motts are excellent at understanding the vibe wanted for your wedding reception and know how to smoothly keep that vibe going. From their correspondence to their attire on stage they were great to work with. Would highly recommend! -

The Motts were the perfect wedding band! They are very professional, easy to work with, and best of all, are excellent musicians/performers. They have a huge list of songs in their repertoire that you can pick songs you like from, and they craft a setlist for your event. The song list is great and ranges from classic rock to soul to Texas country, and everything in between. Michael is a seasoned performer and knows how to get crowds on the dance floor. They made our special day one to remember! -

Not to be biased... but the best wedding I have ever attended! Cannot say enough about The Motts, true professionals that happen to be extremely talented musicians. Going on over a year and still receive phone calls about what band played on our special night. Would not recommend anyone else! -

2025 National Revenue Team Meeting
Wow! This was the best cover band I have ever heard in my entire career / life. They were absolutely ON FIRE during the event and my entire 60 person team cannot stop talking about the energy they brought. They were also incredibly easy to work with and really took the time to understand the intent of our event and crafted the perfect set list. Book The Motts - you will not regret it!! -

Wow! What an awesome band!
If you are looking for a band for you wedding celebration, look no more. We had all ages at our event and everyone enjoyed them equally. The lead singer, Michael has a gift of sounding exactly like the artists on the original recordings. Great musicians!

The perfect wedding band!!
We hired The Motts for our wedding on 11/23/19. They were perfect! All of our guests were very happy! They had everyone dancing even the most unlikely people! Michael(lead vocals and band leader) is incredible at mimicking various vocalists and has terrific energy. The band was very tight and professional. We chose the package with the addittional horn section, which was well worth it. Although our wedding was over 2 months ago, we are still receiving compliments from guests regarding the band we chose to play our wedding. Its remarkable how genuine the responses have been and how much fun everyone had. We can't recommend them enough. -

Best Wedding Band Ever!
I could not be happier that we chose The Motts for our wedding!! They are talented musicians, but lots of bands have talented musicians. What sets these guys apart is their ability to read the crowd and keep the party going. The only time my husband and I left the dance floor was on the bands breaks and I think that was only because we also needed a break lol! The Mott’s were awesome to work with too! Super professional. I told them the songs we didn’t want to hear and the top songs we wanted to hear. Their set list was perfect. They even learned a few songs for us to make our favorite day ever even more special. If you are having trouble deciding on a wedding band, stop looking and book The Motts! -

I can't say enough good things about the Motts. They have a certain cool factor, musicianship and authenticity I really appreciate in a party band. Michael is a rockstar! They had my whole wedding dancing like crazy from start to finish. My family and guests could not stop raving about them the next day and STILL bring up that epic dance party. They even learned Tupelo Honey for my Dad and I. I have hired them again since and recommend them every chance I get. :) -

These guys rock. Michael and his band were incredibly easy to work with -- before our wedding, and day of. They delivered an epic performance that our guests are still talking about to this day. One of the many great qualities of this band was their ability to understand the vibe of their audience. Our guests were from all walks of life, young and old. Everyone danced the whole night!
There were a few songs not in their repertoire that were very important to us. One being our first dance. They learned how to play these songs and it made our wedding unforgettable and so special. To hear a band play your song -- instead of a DJ -- it was one of the best feelings in the world.
Hire them! They're amazing musicians and incredibly professional. And they're super fun :) -

Being that the band - and I hesitate to refer to The Motts as a "wedding band" as they're so much cooler than that title sounds - is such a big part of a wedding reception, and oh, the stresses of wedding planning, and don't get me started on my mother-in-law...I'll admit - I procrastinated in booking a band. And of course, all of the usual popular choices were booked. Or so expensive I was assuming they'd be serenading us on our wedding night as part of their gig. Luckily, my photographer suggested I check out The Motts. She mentioned the various bands the members were in, and before I'd even heard them play, I knew they were our band. Like all my vendors, my main qualifier for our band was, "can I trust them?" I didn't want to have to tell them how to do their job, or have to answer every random little question along the way. I wanted professional, experienced, and trustworthy. And I got that, plus some. I didn't even give them a list of songs to play or not to play - I knew I could trust them to not play crap and keep the dance floor hopping. And they definitely surpassed my expectations! The dance floor was never empty and even now - a year later - I'm still having wedding guests compliment The Motts! (And some of those wedding guests had bands that cost 5x as much play at their weddings!) Even my mother-in-law raved about them and didn't want them to stop when the night was over! -

Book the Motts! You wont Regret!
The Motts are a kickass band! They have their own unique style that is hard to beat. Everybody couldn't stop dancing. They also helped me coordinate ceremony musicians to play before, during and after the ceremony. They are very responsive and make things go very smooth on the day of. Book the Motts! -
