  Delicious and Beautiful Cake

  Our cake was perfect. We had a two tier for cutting and sheet cake to serve our guest. They worked with us on doing three different types of cakes too! All delicious !

  Amazing Cake and Desserts!

  Our wedding cake (chocolate Devil's food cake, chocolate ganache, raspberry filling, with swiss buttercream) and our mini desserts (chocolate dipped strawberries, macarons, mini cheesecakes, mini carrot cakes, and eclairs) were divine! We, including all guests and even the vendors, agreed that it's the best dang cake they've had in a LOOOOOONG time!

  Beautiful and tasty!

  Our cake was just as we imagined, and all of the flavors were super yummy. It was a big hit with our guests.

  Late to the wedding

  I'm only recommending them because they did compensate me for not being on time. Jessica, the owner said they would label the cupcakes so people knew what kind they were, but they never did that. So the caterer had to ask me what kind they were. I had no idea what was what. The cake was not as pretty as the cakes that Mockingbird Bakery advertised. I was disappointed.

  The Mockingbird Bakery's reply:

  Hi Cassandra,
  I'm very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your cake. Can you please tell us what you didn't specifically like about how it looked? We followed the design that you illustrated for us very closely, and the cake received several compliments during delivery. We did arrive later than planned, due to traffic backup on the highway caused by an accident. It's unfortunate that it happened, which is why we refunded your delivery fee, but on the positive end of it we were still able to deliver your cake before the reception began.
  It seems that there was a misunderstanding about the cupcake flavor labels- At your consult I had said that if you provided the tags at your reception hall, I would set them up with the cupcakes. We have never made labels for anyone, since there's no way to know if our tags would clash with their decor. I do apologize for the miscommunication though.
  I sincerely hope that the rest of your wedding day was as beautiful as it looked, and please feel free to call us if you would like to discuss this further.

  Delicious Cupcakes! Very Unresponsive

  I was really pleased with our cake the day of the wedding, but working with Mockingbird in the months leading up to it was incredibly difficult. They were hard to get on the phone, the right person was never 'in' so I had to leave a lot of messages, and ultimately I had to abandon an idea I had for a grooms cake because their decorator never got back to me. Friendly & talented bakers! Just not super professional to work with.
