Perfect wedding

We used The Milestone for our October wedding in Easton, MD and are so grateful we did! Pam and her team are all about service. They put together all the decorations for me and allowed me to enjoy the day and avoid the stress of it all! Pam was easy to work with via email and phone and listened to what I wanted and gave great suggestions to make everythint even better. She took care of me and my husband every minute of the wedding day. The staff is so nice and helpful. And the food was delicious! They have so many options and we loved having an ice cream bar! Best venue in town!

I definitely recommend The Milestone for your wedding venue. Pam and the staff were very accommodating. The food was amazing and the stag is so friendly. They will help you find and decorate for exactly what you have planned. Please give them a call. And you can't forget about George the local peacock that came our for our special day. A big thank you to Pam and her team!

The Choptank Electric Cooperative Member Annual Meeting was a great success and we received many positive comments with regard to the warmth/inviting room, comfortable seating and the delicious meal. It was a pleasure to work with Pam and Maryann and all of the Milestone staff! Thank You!!!

This was our first time at the Milestone and everything was just perfect. Everyone was ready to help in any way they could. Everything was set up perfectly. The food was excellent and the presentations were very, very professional.

We were behind on our program schedule, due to two speakers who went way, way, over the their allotted times. The staff was very gracious about this, even though it was the end of a long day for them.

I plan on holding our next meeting at the Milestone.

Pam, the event coordinator was wonderful and extremely flexible and easy to work with! The kitchen staff was amazing and the food was great! Had a fantastic experience all the way around!

I am an event coordinator and needed a caterer for an event. The Milestone was extremely flexible, cooperative, and professional during the planning process through the entire event. The staff whether they were cooking, serving, or cleaning and breaking down the event were pleasant, friendly and willing to please. Food service and quality of food was excellent. I would highly recommend The Milestone for any future events.

This review is actually for a large (160 attendee) fundraising event and dinner. The Milestone and Pam were great to work with - she worked with our ideas and "wants" and was also able to suggest new ideas and recommendations we were able to incorporate into our planning. The afternoon and evening of the event Pam and her team were onsite and available to assist us with set-up/clean-up and resolve space issues that popped up at the last minute. The dinner was excellent with many positive comments shared by our guests. It was the perfect venue for our event and we have already booked for next year.

The Milestone was wonderful. The room was gorgeous. The food was delicious. Pam was so helpful, especially since everything was done from out of town on our part! I could not have hoped for a more perfect setting for our son (and to be daughter-in-law)'s dress rehearsal dinner.

We had a business event at the Milestone. Pam, Mollie and their staff were wonderful. The food was delicious and we received nothing but rave reviews from employees.

Pam and Betty-Ann put my mind at ease and made my wedding look beautiful. Betty-Ann was there the day of the wedding to coordinate everything and she did a wonderful job. Everything went seamlessly and she treats you like family. All of my guests were raving about the food, it really was delicious. I would definitely recommend The Milestone to anyone looking for a venue.

Rural CARES has used the services offered at the Milestone on several occasions. We have never had a problem, love working with the staff and have always been exceptionally happy with everything offered.

Our wedding was so perfect, better then we could of ever imagined. The staff was exceptional and very personable. They helped us think of things we hadn't even thought of during the planning process. Thier flexabilty was amazing because we even had to bump our date back a week and they made it stress free for everyone involved. From the small details to the large ones everything was perfect. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was. The wedding cake and cupcakes were so delicous some of my bridemaids went back for seconds. (I know they weren't the only ones) Thank you again for your wonderful service our wedding was beautiful and we couldn't of done it without you!

I had my daugter, Taelor Meintzer-Jones, wedding reception at The Milestone and it was the best choice we made! We inquired about other venues, but after meeting with Lorriane at The Milestone, we knew immediately that The Milestone was where we wanted to celebrate her marriage. After months of planning and many changes, it all came together beautifully. Lorriane was very understanding to the type of venue my daughter was seeking and did everything in her power to make it happen! The menu choices were plentiful and the one we did go with was very delicious!! The servers were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. I received many compliments from our guest that evening regarding the reception and the friendly atmosphere from all involved to make it happen. Lorraine presented herself in a very professional way and we were very comfortable working with her. Kudos to The Milestone! You turned my daugthers dream into reality!

Working with the Milestone was great. Anytime I had any questions or needed help of any kind I was able to call or email and get a prompt response. They worked with me and were able to accommodate all of my requests. It was decorated beautifully, the food was great, we had an amazing time. I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the area. They took care of the majority of the work for me which made my day a lot easier.

The reception was beautiful and the caterers took very good care of the bridal party. The food was excellent and Wanda and Kim were so helpful. I would definitely recommend The Milestone for wedding receptions.

Wanda, Jeremy and Milestone helped make our unique wedding a reality. Regardless of what we threw at them (i.e., 4 weeks notice, can only cook the meal on a fire, cannot use any lights, changing the guest count 2 days before the ceremony, etc) they were extremely responsible, flexibity and professional. They never said, they couldn't handle it. As many of our guests have said, it was a party of a lifetime.

I am extremely pleased on the decision to have our wedding at The Milestone. There were plenty of comparable options on paper BUT none of the other venues had Lorraine White. Lorraine White is a GEM and I will be honest in saying that she was the main reason we chose The Milestone. From the 1st day we met Lorraine she was friendly, warm, and very professional. She shared my vision and exceeded my expectations with her stellar customer service. Lorraine was completely honest throughout our journey and worked extremely hard on every detail to give us the best wedding possible! I was so at ease working with Lorraine because I knew she took our wedding as much to heart as we did! I must also give big kudos to the rest of the amazing Milestone staff ~ AMAZING! I really felt like the entire staff was a team of cheerleaders for our wedding!! What an incredible group of folks! On the day of the wedding Lorraine came out to greet me before I entered for the ceremony ~ I just wanted to hug her for hours in appreciation but I knew I would be a wreck, so I kept my composure as best I could! Everything went like clockwork, the staff on the day of were TOP NOTCH, efficient, and sooooo friendly! I love it when you see people at work with genuine smiles on their faces, and it was definitely noticed by our guests! During our reception my husband commented that he was also happy with the decision to have our wedding at The Milestone in part due to the fantastic customer service and friendliness of the staff. And the food was amazing ~ I swear they have the best baked ham in Easton! Our guests are still talking about how good the food was ~ our sincere compliments to the chef! The presentation stations were beautiful and each touch down to the snowflakes on the ceiling were adored by all….especially me! Many thanks again to Lorraine White and The Milestone for making December 22, 2012 our perfect day.

What can I say other than Lorraine and the staff at the Milestone help make the happiest day of my life perfect. The food the cake everything was perfection. 10 stars.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!! First, Lorraine is great! It's as if she saw my vision for my reception in my head. Everything was great! Our families truly enjoyed themselves and were thoroughly impressed by the Milestone and their staff. Food was yummy! Highly recommended!

This place is a gem in Easton! Everything was wonderful and you get so much for your money! It was perfect! There is plenty of room for a big wedding and set back in a secluded location.

The Milestone exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Everything went perfectly. Lorraine does an excellent job! I am a perfectionist and when I walked into the venue and it was decorated for our wedding it was breath taking. Lorraine was always available for any questions I had and worked hard to meet my expectations. She also did everything for me. She took all the work out of my wedding day and made it perfect. In addition, the service and food were stellar. All of my guests commented on the service and food being stellar numerous times. This venue is amazing and selecting The Milestone for your day will be one of the best decisions you make as you prepare for your big day!!

The Milestone provided us with the perfect reception for my daughter and new son-in-law. Thanks to Lorraine White the event was beautiful and exactly what we invisioned. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was very attentive. I cannot say enough good things about the Milestone and I recommend it without any hesitation to anyone looking to have their reception in the beautiful town of Easton, MD.

Wedding reception was at The Milestone and it was fantastic. Room was decorated nicely, food was delicious and the service was terrific. Everything went very smoothly and they were so nice to work with. Would highly recommend.

The Milestone owners and staff were very helpful in planning my event.
Guest raved over the meal, The food was spectacular! Two buffets helped to keep everyone eating in a timely manner.
The event room was large giving guest plenty of room to mingle and dance.

Pam and I emailed numerous time as the event date cam closer. I met with her about two weeks before the event to be sure she had all the information that she needed and to check what I needed to decide. Her one
suggestion was that since we were having about 40 young adults and children at our Banquet to change the
appetizer menu to accommodate them. We went with 100 sweet potato fry (cups) and that went well with them.

I can't say enough good things about The Milestone. It was a beautiful wedding and reception. Everyone we talked to said how gorgeous the rooms were. The entire staff was wonderful and Pam made everything so easy and beautiful.

The staff was fantastic! They staged the whole reception room without me with just my input and it looked great! Keep in mind, for all food and drink there is a service charge of 20% added on, as well as taxes.

I needed a venue at very short notice and I was so happy that the Milestone was able to accommodate. I had very specific requests beginning with custom menu requests and the Milestone staff provided all my menu changes. The wide variety of linens and chair sashes was another plus because I was able to select a knockout color scheme. I was not happy with the options for centerpieces, so I would suggest either making your own as we did or getting arrangements from the florist. I appreciated the staff letting us come in the day before to make our own special touches on the decorations. I definitely liked the convenience of having the wedding and reception in one place. The food was tasty and our guests were very happy with the meal! The overall ambience was beautiful and my sister said it was her dream wedding. Kudos to the Milestone for a job well done!

PROS: Great location. Betty was helpful. Overall, staff were nice. Silverware, table cloths, small screen were included in overall costs. Tried to work with us in reference to costs and vision for event.

CONS: A drop in communication when main point of contact left company. Decorations were a bit outdated. Food costs were steep. Young waitress was gossiping in the back about details of OUR event and we could hear her - very unprofessional! Made me very uncomfortable.

After booking my wedding, making the downpayment and half down payment in Jan, we knew what our remainder was. I called in may wondering where our final payment bill was. The end of May I git a call from a woman saying our corridornator was let go and she was our new one. I asked for our final bill never heard back 3 weeks before our wedding with numerous calls I finally got then ti send us our bill for over TWICE the amount it was suppose to be. Furiously went in had to surprise the owner to get her to talk ti me. Find out her former employee forgot a charge on our bill a very large one. Instead of calling us she decideied to just send the bill and hope I wouldnt noticed. She apologized for being unprofessional than told me she was bot responsibley for HER employee and I would be paying this large bill 2 WEEKS before our wedding. None the less she refused to let us cancel our wedding, she had her lawyer tell me that if we did nit pay she was canceling our wedding and we would never see our money. She did beyond illegal things and we had the worst time of our lives. We didnt even want to be there. NEVER NEVER deal with unprofessional heartless owner BRIDES BEWARE
