  Amazing band! They will make your wedding!!

  The Middle Men were absolutely amazing! Throughout the whole process Lucas and team were professional, helpful and provided such a great, easy going energy as we prepared and executed our wedding day.
  
  The communication ahead of time was great as they walked us through the day that included ceremony and cocktail music by Lucas. We loved getting the sample playlist ahead of time. During the day Lucas was awesome about checking in with us and our day off coordinator about timeline and helping making sure we were on track.
  
  They kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. We had SO many guests tell us how they are not “dancers” and they were shocked that they spent the full reception dancing and that was because of the band’s energy and song selections. The range of songs and genres were amazing and they nailed each and every one. I think TMM may see some of our guests at their future shows - they seriously cannot stop talking about how fun and amazing they were 😊

  April 2024 Wedding for Nat & Kev

  If I could recommend everyone to work with Lucas and the Middle Men band I would! They were absolutely amazing to work with from the start to the very last song played on the dance floor. We began speaking with Lucas and he worked with us through our timeline, budget and desired songs. We decided to go with a 3 piece Jazz band for our cocktail hour which added such a great musical element to welcome our guests. Then moving into the dinner portion of the evening we had the 4 piece band. Lucas helped us with our flow of the evening with speeches and first dances it all worked so perfectly. Then when it was time to party the band really turned it up!! Their flow and song selection was perfect and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long!! I even had a special request for the last song to close out the night and the Middle Men made it happen. We could not recommend this band more everyone should book them as they will create such a memorable time for your event and guests!!

  The Middle Men know how to party!!!

  I highly recommend The Middle Men for your wedding. It has been a few months since our big day and we still have friends & family commenting on how great the band was. The dance floor was packed the entire night, whether they were playing or simply DJ-ing.
  
  Lucas and the rest of the guys are extremely easy to work with, fun, and made our day so special. They were very amendable to changes and easy going. We had potential weather and venue issues, but the band was ready to roll with the punches.
  
  We can’t thank Lucas and The Middle Men enough for being a huge part of our day and would highly recommend them for any event.

  10/10 - not your average wedding band

  The Middle Men was easily the #1 most talked about aspect of our wedding. Everyone from our friends to our parents friends, and older relatives was on the dance floor the entire time. I don't think there was a single song people did not know and every expectation we had before the wedding was definitely exceeded. If you like 90's and 2000's nostalgic rock music like blind 182, the killers, linkin park, etc with a little bit of hip hop like eminem mixed in, these guys are for you.
  
  The music was such a huge part of our wedding and we wanted to do something different than your typical wedding back and The Middle Men delivered that in 10 fold. They took our wedding to a whole different level and helped add a lot of really nice touches throughout the day, not just for the dancing reception.
  
  Working with Lucas and the team was also awesome. Lucas was incredible easy to work with, took our feedback seriously, and tailored their sets to the vibe we were looking to achieve. We were lucky enough to see them live before our wedding so it was also cool to build a little bit of an in person relationship ahead of the event and we will definitely see them live many more times in the future.

  Incredible wedding band - will keep everyone on the dance floor!

  These guys were amazing - from the very beginning Lucas and the band were extremely responsive, easygoing, and helpful as we navigated wedding planning on our own. I ran out of time to make my own cocktail hour playlist and they put something together that was exactly what we were hoping for - probably better than I would have done. Their performance at the reception totally exceeded our expectations - they do a really awesome breadth of songs with their own subtle spin on them, it makes for a fun, original and memorable set. Guests were on the dancefloor the entire night and everyone's still talking about how great the music was. You won't regret going with these guys!

  Amazing! so many complements from guests

  We had so many guests come up to us and ask where we found Lucas. His voice is amazing, and he sung all our favorite songs. I highly recommend booking for your wedding!

  The Middle Men were the ultimate professionals on our wedding day. We did not have to worry about a thing as they set up an acoustic set for the ceremony and a rocking band set for our reception. The song choice was impeccable and had our guests dancing all night long. The vocals and guitar by Lucas during the ceremony was beautiful and helped to have the whole audience in tears. With a three year engagement the Middle Men were flexible with payment schedule, and patient with us during the entire planning process. We could not recommend them more. They even played some original songs along the way and they were amazing!!

From the moment we went up to Ogunquit to listen to Lucas perform, throughout the wedding day timeline info until the night of the wedding - Lucas was so great to work with. He is truly so talented, the live music during the ceremony and cocktail hour was SUCH A HIT, our guests a month+ later are still talking about it. The combination of live + DJ was really unique and everyone talked about what a great mix it was. Lucas & Joey were hands down amazing and did a fantastic job all night.

  The Middle Men were AMAZING!

  We pivoted to the Middle Men after our original wedding band went out of business due to COVID. While we were sad for the misfortune of the original band, it ended up being the BIGGEST blessing in disguise, as we cannot imagine having any other band play at our wedding.
  
  Lucas was incredible to work with from day 1. We hopped on multiple calls throughout our time working with the Middle Men- to chat through what we envisioned for the day, musical selections, etc. Every conversation with Lucas was helpful and put us more and more at ease through what can be an incredibly stressful planning process. When it came to the wedding day, Lucas and his team worked flawlessly with our planner (Pinch Me Planning), and executed perfectly on what we had discussed prior. Lucas bent over backwards to make sure we had the perfect day.
  
  Now for the dance floor- The Middle Men kept our large wedding on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. They played the best mix of music- from oldies, to amazing 90s jams, to hip-hop (our guests are still talking about their rendition of The Real Slim Shady- it was incredible). We had SO many guests - spanning several generations - come up to us afterwards (and over email and text) to tell us that it was the best wedding band they've ever heard, and we totally agree.
  
  The Middle Men truly made our wedding- it just would not have been the same without them. Lucas was a dream to work with and we cannot recommend them enough! Thank you Lucas and TMM!

  the best band ever!

  The Middle Men are the perfect wedding band in pretty much every way. In the planning process they're responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with. On the day of, they MC perfectly and makes sure your schedule moves quickly. They are the perfect dancing band and sing the best hits from the 80's 90's and 00's. I can't recommend them enough, they will make your wedding the most fun wedding anyone has ever been too.

  Lucas and the middle men band were absolutely perfect! They played for our wedding at Brick South in September 2021 and we couldn’t have asked for a better band to get the party going! They made every special moment possible, from sharing my father daughter dance with my father and grandfather to learning an additional song last minute! They did an amazing job performing and their energy was great! The dance floor was never empty! Their set list caters to all ages and all genres! All night long my guests were asking, “is that the Dj?” And the answer would be “actually it’s the band” followed by something along the lines of “wow they are amazing I can’t believe It is live”. If you are looking for a good group to get your party started and help create special moments, they are the band for you!

  Dancing all night long!

  The music for our wedding was super important to us, so we took a lot of time to choose a wedding band and are SO HAPPY we went with The Middle Men. From our young cousins to our college friends to our older family members, EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night long. They were responsive, played the music we loved and even learned specific songs for special moments. Not only was it amazing for dancing, but having the extra touch of live music during the ceremony, made it that much more intimate.   The music for our wedding was super important to us, so we took a lot of time to choose a wedding band and are SO HAPPY we went with The Middle Men. From our young cousins to our college friends to our older family members, EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night long. They were responsive, played the music we loved and even learned specific songs for special moments. Not only was it amazing for dancing, but having the extra touch of live music during the ceremony, made it that much more intimate.   Lucas Roy & The Middle Men were AMAZING!

  Lucas is a close friend of ours so hiring him and his band was a no brainer for our big day. They exceeded expectations in every category! All of our friends and family couldn't stop talking about how fun it was to sing and dance along with a live band and it really got the energy up during our reception. My husband (the groom) even crowd surfed at one point! They played all of our favorite songs and even learned a few new ones at our request. I couldn't be happier with our experience. I would highly recommend Lucas Roy and the Middle Man for a wedding band (or any occasion). Thank you all so much for bring our wedding day to the next level and helping us to create long lasting memories!

  The Middle Men were the highlight of our reception!

  Lucas and the band were so incredible at our wedding! They played a great variety of music that had everyone on the dance floor all night. It was clear that they love what they do and go out of their way to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves. And the guys were super friendly and fun to be around!

  Best Possible Music Experience!

  I am SO glad we had The Middle Men at our wedding! They were incredible. Literally from the first phone call through the wedding day, Lucas and his team made us feel completely relaxed and taken care of. Planning a wedding during COVID was not easy, but Lucas and The Middle Men were super enthusiastic about playing our wedding and we were so grateful! I am a bit of a music snob and was really stressed about having a bad DJ; SO not our vibe! The Middle Men were perfect. They played an incredible set and everyone had an incredible time, seriously. I wouldn't have had it any other way! 10/10 would recommend having The Middle Men at your wedding! PS. Lucas played acoustic for our ceremony before the reception and it was BEAUTIFUL!

  We love the Middle Men!

Lucas Mc’d the event perfectly, the guys learned quite a few new songs for us, and they rocked the entire night. We were absolutely delighted with the set list and they made a perfect playlist for our style of songs when they weren’t playing. We even requested they learn With Me by Sum 41 for our first dance and they crushed that too! Honestly, we would 10,000% recommend them over and over. Our guests still tell us it was the best wedding music they have experienced.   Lucas is absolutely amazing! He played at my rehearsal dinner and did our ceremony music. Lucas was such a big part of our wedding weekend, I can’t imagine not having him there. I could listen to him sing over and over again; he truly creates the best vibe.

Every single guest has commented on how amazing they were and I want to throw a party just to hire them again!   Lucas rocks the house!!
