Ken is THE pastor for your wedding day!

My husband and I got married on July 4th. Our original intentions were to get married sometime in September but we still didn't have any vendors yet. With the pandemic and the uncertainty of when things would be back to normal we decided to do a small ceremony in our backyard. After searching on Wedding Wire for a professional, affordable, officiant Ken popped up! After my initial contact Ken called right away. He set up a virtual meeting with my fiance and I to get to know us which made us feel so special! He took extra time to answer any questions I had and was always a text or call away. He was patient and best of all funny! Ken has a great sense of humor and made us feel so comfortable. We were able to tailor our small backyard ceremony and vows to our liking without any concern from Ken...he really just wants his clients to be happy! On the day of the ceremony he showed up on time, and dressed very nicely to perform our official words of marriage! He was also sure to speak loudly and clearly since we didn't have a mic and our families were at a safe distance. Ken is so sweet and we highly recommend his amazing officiant talents for your special day!

Provided Great Service

Pastor Ken also known as PK was wonderful to work with and he provided GREAT service. We contracted with Pastor Ken in January 2019 for an August 2019 Wedding. Pastor Ken is a GREAT communicator and promptly replied to ALL of our calls and text messages quickly. He was always on time when we met for the first time, at our wedding rehearsal and on our wedding day. He is a fun person to spend time with which really helps to ease your wedding day stress. He is very professional and smooth. Your guests will be blown away by how well he performs your wedding ceremony. He utilizes several payment options and we chose PayPal. Hire Pastor Ken & you will not be disappointed!

Working With Pastor Ken Is Like Working With A Good Friend

Pastor Ken performed our wedding in 2017. I contacted him because we were having some difficulty finding an available officiant and I knew his work from the annual Fox 45 Wedding in a Week promotion. We are very pleased with our choice. He is accommodating, caring, patient and personable. Further, he made sure we knew that he was available to support the marriage in the future.

Pastor Ken did a great job on our wedding! I actually selected another officiant at the beginning, but that officiant was very slow and not responsible. Then I find Pastor Ken on this website! Pastor Ken was very professional and provided a lot of good suggestions. He also tried his best to attend our rehearsal with a short notice. Strongly recommend!

So great to work with! We had to postpone a year due to family health issues and move venues since ours cancelled on us, and they were there for us every step. They moved the date and location no problem, and even take credit cards which is awesome! The pamphlet includes durations of ceremonies, outfits he will wear for your event and all those candle, sand options out there (we didn't do that but still cool) you seriously get pick your stuff and they accommodate! So easy and so awesome! He also got to the venue early so he came upstairs and watched football with us till it was time to start. He is so cool, definitely recommend!!

Coming from out of state somehow my fiancé and I planned everything months in advance, except an officiant! We were panicking last minute (a week before the wedding) and contacted pastor Ken praying the he would be available for our wedding date, and he was! We spoke over the phone only one time prior to our wedding day! I put 100% faith in him to plan his part of the ceremony and even without any time to rehearse everything went flawlessly and was so beautiful! Pastor Ken was truly a blessing!

Pastor Ken and his wife Jo-Anne are so great. They are professional, prompt at answering questions, and they gave me awesome feedback and templates to work off of, since I didn't even know where to start in terms of choosing what I wanted for my ceremony. They are so incredibly down to earth and friendly, and made the wedding ceremony so special. Highly recommended ??

Pastor Ken is very professional. I had recently moved to Maryland and did not know any officiants. So I started searching for an officiant, and he came up at the top of my search list on Wedding Wire. I also asked at least 3 friends and they also recommended him. My fiance (now husband) also asked around and came back with Pastor Ken. I could go on about how great he is. His wife is amazing and they have a great system going. She does most of the behind the scenes work in terms of creating the program for the ceremony, and does this very quickly. We also decided to have our pre-marital coaching sessions with him and, I tell you, he is superb. Our wedding day was amazing. The guests could not stop telling us how much they loved our Pastor. He performed a beautiful ceremony and while we were able to say how we wanted our ceremony to be done, he also gave us suggestions, which we thought was great. My sister, who lives in Florida and was also my MOH will be getting married soon, and is contemplating doing so in Maryland just so she could have Pastor Ken officiate her marriage ceremony(I would so love that too). If you are looking for knowledge, professionalism, flexibility, and most importantly quality of service, then Pastor Ken is man. If nothing else happens after the wedding ceremony, you would still be a happily married couple at the end of the day.

What can we say...well Pastor Ken is amazingly funny and down to earth. He counseled us with truth and was totally open and honest with us. He made our ceremony unique and exactly what we wanted to share with our guests. His presence made this part of the wedding stress free and we can't thank him and his wife enough. Pastor Ken was amazing!!!! Upon first meeting he was very funny, personable and accommodating. Our family and friends could not stop talking about how wonderful our officiant was. He arrived at least 45 min. before the ceremony and visited both dressing rooms to make sure everyone was at easy and ready for the big day. I can not express how grateful I am to pastor Ken for helping to make my wedding at Antrim great.

Pastor Ken was the best choice to be our officiant. My husband and I wanted to support as much black-owned business as possible when planning our wedding. He also came highly recommended to us by our photographer. I appreciate the detailed website that allows you to view over 9 different ceremony templates. There is truly something for everyone! Pastor Ken and his wife Mrs. Joann made my husband and I feel very comfortable upon first contact. They were accommodating and receptive to our needs. We were able to customize our ceremony although without their guidance we would have been lost. They were quick to respond to our concerns, which gave me a sense of calm going through this process. I highly recommend him to couples looking for not just an officiant, but one that will not only help you navigate through the process, but also listens to your needs. Pastor Ken is relaxed, fun, charming, professional, and everything we were looking for. We met him at a Panera and we felt like we have known him for years, we instantly clicked with him. It was also important for us to feel comfortable with someone who is okay with different religious views. Neither of us are very religious and we wanted someone who fully accepted that, and Pastor Ken did. You could tell he is just a genuinely nice guy. He was flexible and his website made everything easy. We picked out the type of ceremony we were looking for and we rehearsed it together over the phone, it made us feel more comfortable on the big day. He made everything stress free. I highly recommend him to other couples looking for an officiant, just meet him, you won't regret it. The ceremony was perfect and people came up to us asking "who was your officiant? How long have you known him? He made it seem like he has known you for years!". Thank you PK, for being a huge part in our big day, thank you for accepting us for who we were and making our day perfect.

Pastor Ken is AWESOME!!! My husband and I opted to add the marriage coaching session to our package. It was well worth the money. Pastor Ken will work with your schedule and do what ever he can to make time for his couples. The day of the wedding he made sure to visit with me as well as the groom to make sure there wasn't any question. He stayed with in the allowed time frame for the ceremony. He stayed with and joined us for dinner and gave the blessing. Our guest comment on how great or ceremony was and how much they like Pastor Ken.

we were engaged in sept 2013 and found pastor ken in november 2013 through the internet, met with four pastors but hands downs we knew pastor ken was for us and we had 2 classes with him with one more class to go and he performed our ceremony this past oct. 31 2014 and was absolutely wonderful and our guests all commented on his humor, sincerity and genuineness so look no further if you are engaged call pastor ken for your ceremony

Pastor Ken Patterson was so amazing to work with. His professionalism and warmness made a huge impression with us and all of our guests. Although the ceremony was prefect that wasn't the best part. My husband and I choose to do three marriage coaching sessions and cannot believe how much they have helped us already. Best officiant hands down! If you want your guests to be entertained by an enthusiastic and uplifting wedding officiant, go with the Maryland Wedding Officiant and Pastor Ken Patterson. My husband and I wanted a ceremony that was different than your typical wedding ceremony. We wanted it to mean something special to us and we wanted it to be more spiritual in nature without all the demands & expectations that some officiants and churches put on couples. Pastor Ken gave us exactly what we needed and wanted. The process of choosing what we wanted for our ceremony was super easy and convenient with a unique and easy to use website and we even had fun doing it! Also, Jo-Ann, was incredibly responsive and easy to work with; she was always quick to respond to our questions, very helpful and helped streamline the whole process! Pastor Ken did such an amazing job! My husband and I come from very different backgrounds, and are not super traditional, and Pastor Ken worked with us to built a completely custom, perfect ceremony for us. He is very warm, funny, and friendly, while being very professional. He has great stage presence and can command a crowd, and lead the ceremony (and rehearsal!) with ease. We got SO many compliments from our guests about what a phenomenal job he did!! And funny enough, during my whole wedding planning process, I actually met several other people who had him as their officiant at their weddings, and absolutely loved him. I would highly recommend him to any bride. The officiant is a pretty big deal at your wedding, you definitely want to make the right decision, and you won't go wrong with Pastor Ken!

Pastor Ken did a wonderful job as our wedding officiant! He was very personable and funny and made everyone involved in our wedding feel comfortable and at ease. My older sister and brother in law were married by pastor Ken 2 years ago so I knew he was great but to actually work with him I have to say my husband and I were blown away! We really enjoyed our 3 counseling sessions and all of or interactions with him in between.

He is a joy to work with and I would recommend him to any and everyone getting married!

My husband and I worked with Pastor Mike and his wife Sophia, who provided us with premarital coaching prior to the wedding day. They were so wonderful and made us comfortable from our initial meeting with them. It was great to have them both to talk to and to provide us with the Christian-based guidance we were looking for (as we do not have a church home in our area). Even better it was comforting to have someone who had gotten to know us as a couple officiate our wedding. Mike made sure our ceremony was personalized, and also that it was fun and kept our guests engaged. He was wonderful. I would definitely recommend The Maryland Wedding Officiant and specifically Mike Daniels to ANYONE.

Before we met with Pastor Ken, we saw pre-marital counseling as more of a task than a necessity. However, after our sessions, we appreciate what it brought to our relationship. It not only allowed us to talk more about the future and see how we aligned, but it help us better understand each other and our values. We would definitely recommend that every couple do this before marriage. The great thing is that Pastor Ken didn't push his beliefs on us; he helped us better communicate with each other through our own beliefs. He also shared his own experiences, which helped us relate to him and trust what he had to say. Both him and his wife Jo-Ann were a pleasure to work with! They were kind, considerate, passionate, and even humorous at times...definitely wonderful people! Pastor Ken also did a great job performing our wedding ceremony, which Jo-Ann help customize for us. Pastor Ken was phenomenal!!! I really, truly couldn't have asked for a more thorough, more exceptional, or more professional officiant for my wedding! My husband and I wed in Maryland but we are local to NY. Even with the distant Pastor Ken and his wife Jo-Ann made it very easy to get in contact with them, through either phone or email. They were both amazingly pleasant and easy to work with at all times! Although we didn't meet Pastor Ken in person until the day of our wedding, we shared our story of how we met and other pertinent info so he could get a good understanding of who we are as a couple.

The day of the wedding really couldn't have been more perfect! Pastor Ken discretely helped us through each part of our ceremony, making sure everyone stood and did what they were supposed to do. Even though we booked Pastor Ken late (due to an issue with a previously booked pastor), he was happy to accommodate.

Pastor Ken really is a crowd pleaser and truly has a gift. He is worth every penny!!

When it was time for me to plan my wedding a number of people I knew were having trouble finding an officiant. I went online and simply typed in goggle Maryland wedding officiant and up popped Pastor Ken's website. I saw all the reviews on here and decided to contact them. I heard back within a day and the rest is history! His lovely wife Jo-Ann helps him with running the service. They are a great team and you can truly tell he values marriage simply by how well they work together. She is so professional and very nice. I know it must be hard sometimes dealing with brides all the time. Pastor Ken is wonderful himself. He is easy to open up to and a great listener. I highly suggest taking his marriage counseling sessions, he offers so much insight in to marriage and even tailors the sessions to you. We had an issue he hadn't made a class for but put a lot of thought into making one for us. Everyone at the wedding said what a great job he did and how personable he was. I am so grateful we got to have him in our wedding!

We couldn't have asked for more from Pastor Ken. After our first encounter with him, we knew immediately that we had made the right choice. He made the complete process seem effortless and he went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met. The ceremony was beautiful! Pastor Ken made it very personal and warm. So much so that many of our guests gave compliments all evening on how great our pastor was. They couldn't believe that we had only known him for a few months. Minister Michael Daniels of The Maryland Wedding Officiant team was great! He and his wife counseled my husband and I as well as performed our wedding ceremony. We could not have asked for a better match. They were truly focused on our needs and helped us begin/continue discussions about our marital values. We were so pleased with the ceremony service Minister Michael Daniels provided for us. My husband and I enjoyed how we were able to design our own ceremony. We started with one of the ceremonies that were pre-designed, however were given the ability to delete or add portions from other ceremony selections, which allowed us to create the perfect ceremony for my husband and I. Our guests, parents, and especially us were so happy with the way he officiated the wedding. It was spiritual, it was funny, it was simply perfect. We would strongly recommend him to anyone getting married because he is amazing.

As soon as my fiance proposed to me, Valentine's Day 2011, I knew I wanted Ken Patterson to marry Jared and me. We received exceptional service from him and his wife Jo-ann. I was very pleased with how punctual our sessions were. Premarital counseling has changed our relationship for the best, and we continue to use what we learned from each of our sessions. I am a firm believer in pre-marital counseling and having Pastor Ken Patterson as an officiant. My husband and I tied the knot 7/21/2012, and people are STILL talking about Ken Patterson. Our ceremony was short and sweet, BUT very memorable thanks to Ken. During our ceremony, he made our guest understand the importance of marriage and even made us laugh. He was funny, lively, and professional. Since then, we've had friends say they want Pastor Ken to marry them because of his participation in our wedding. It is now October 2012, and my husband and I have joined his church Grace International Church and we're amazed at how much he loves his wife. They are truly role-models to us newly wed couples. Although, I plan to never get married again, I hope to attend all of my friends and family's wedding with Ken Patterson as the officiant. Five Star is not enough ladies and gents! :)

Because our wedding was on a Sunday we thought that it would be difficult to find an officiant. Our wedding planner told us about Pastor Ken. When we contacted him he immediately responded & connected us with Minister Mike Daniels. He was absolutely wonderful. He listened to our needs & ensured that everyone enjoyed our ceremony while maintaining the sanctity of the event. It was great & would definitely recommend Minister Mike, Pastor Ken & his staff. Let me begin this by saying we received so many compliments on Pastor Ken! Our wedding guests LOVED his passion, his ability to make us laugh, to play off of our emotions when we cried, his ability to speak loudly and clearly, and overall his uncanny ability to project the sentiment of the day. We were overwhelmed by the amount of people who complimented us on Pastor Ken. Leading up to the big day, he was an absolute joy - he responds to messages and emails within 30 minutes (literally). His wife helps to coordinate your ceremony details and is an absolute pleasure as well. I would, without reservation, recommend Pastor Ken!

"We could not have made a better choice for our wedding officiate than Pastor Kenneth Patterson!!!!!!

What I loved the most was that Pastor Patterson work closely with his wife who is the sweetest person ever! They never pressured us in any way and were totally committed to helping us make our wedding day special. He provided a comprehensive set of options for the ceremony and encouraged us to choose those things we wanted in our wedding ceremony.

He is very warm and personable, extremely professional, and understands the importance of allowing a couple to decide what they want. Whenever we need him or his wife, they were there to help answer every question we had.

On our wedding day, we found Ken to be flexible and adjust to minor changes due to our running late wedding. Everyone commented on what a nice ceremony he conducted and how friendly and funny he was. Pastor Kenneth Patterson is sensitive and caring, takes his role seriously, is extremely knowledgeable, and was a great help.

One of the best things that we did is chose Pastor Ken as our officiant. The counseling sessions were personal and insightful and we continued to learn more about each other and our expectations of marriage. Pastor Ken provided us with additional tools to improve and enhance our communication. His genuine, down to earth approach and personal stories helped us to feel comfortable and relaxed. Even when we had a little bump in the road, Pastor Ken offered his ear and guidance that helped his to move forward. We loved working with Pastor Patterson! The pastor and his wife were very kind, understanding, and helpful in preparing us for our wedding day. My husband and I are in the Air Force and live in Fl (but from MD and NY area). Pastor Patterson was so flexible! He met with me a few weeks before the wedding (fiancé couldn't make it) to go over everything. He was very detailed with a reasonable price. You can personalize your vows or chose from a wealth of ideas that he has available, which was very convenient! Our wedding day was wonderful. We had a good laugh with the pastor about his jouney through the back roads of Frederick :) He has a personalitly that will put you and your fiance at ease on your big day. Pastor Ken was amazing! We are so happy to have chosen him for our wedding! He had a lot of different kinds of ceremonies to pick from and we were able to personalize our ceremony to make it exactly what we wanted. He was very enthusiastic about the whole process and you could see how very passionate he is about marrying people. On the rehersal day we realized we haven't invited pastor Ken to help us out. My fiance called him up a couple hour prior to the rehersal asking if he could come and with such a short notice pastor Ken made it! He took charge of the rehersal and everyone were clear on how it's going to flow on the big day. I cannot imagine how we could have done our rehersal without him. On the wedding day our ceremony went great and our guests loved pastor Ken. I would highly recommend him as an offician for any wedding!

We are so grateful for Pastor Ken and his lovely wife Joann! Our premarital coaching experience was invaluable in preparing us for marriage! The process allowed us to have a number of conversations about our future together that we would not have had otherwise. Our sessions usually ran over the hour we allotted but Pastor Ken made sure he was responsive to our needs and answered any questions we had. We are grateful that we were able to build a rapport with our officiant in the 9 months leading up to our wedding so we could feel comfortable during our ceremony. He was always very professional but still transparent in sharing some of his own experiences. He came to visit us both moments before the ceremony was set to start, just to make sure we were ok. He even stayed for our reception to give us a blessing, giving our reception a special touch. Thank you Pastor Ken and Joann for sowing good seeds into our marriage! We know that if we are ever in search of a new church, we have a place to go!

Pastor Ken and his wife were so helpful during the pre-marital counseling sessions and the planning of our wedding ceremony. They were very understanding about that fact that, at the time, my husband was in the process of separating from service and could not participate in long term counseling and some of the pre-wedding tasks. We learned a great deal during our sessions with Pastor Ken and we look forward to continued growth through future post-marital sessions. Finding an officiant was one of the hardest parts of planning my wedding. I knew I had to feel a certain vibe and I was left somewhat disappointed with what I was finding online. I wanted a non-denominational, but religious ceremony. Once I came across Pastor Ken’s profile and website, I felt I had finally found who I was looking for. My only dilemma was hoping that I would be able to book him for my wedding date, as I was unable to connect with him for a little while after my initial contact. I stayed persistent and eventually set up a meeting. My fiancé and I were very pleased with his personality and presentation. We booked that day. I knew we had made the right choice. He and his wife Jo-Ann really made the process very easy. Our ceremony was wonderful. My aunt, who was one of my readers, was running late and was not there for her part of the ceremony, but Pastor Ken seamlessly made light of it and read the scripture. Many guests commented on how personable he was and whether he was the pastor of our church, as he was so warm and comfortable with us. He stayed for the reception, blessed the meal and even took a picture in our photobooth and left a note in our guestbook. He also gave us a beautiful copy of our ceremony as a keepsake. We are very pleased with how everything turned out that day.

Our Officiant was wonderful. He was very personal with our marriage plans. A bit of advice, pick the big package with the premarital counseling . Also, I would definitely renew our vows with MWO.

Pastor Ken Patterson and his wife JoAnn were phenomenal to work with. They helped with the planning the ceremony from start to finish. They even included a personalized copy of our ceremony for use to frame. They responded to all questions and inquires in a timely manner. Wedding planning is stressful enough, but working with them took away a lot of the stress of planning the ceremony. They he predesigned ceremony options or you can tell them what you want. I HIGHLY recommend using them. They a professional and they give you the most options for your money.

The Maryland Wedding Officiant is a top-notch, well-organized, and professional business. We were immediately impressed with their website, which for us, was the deciding factor on which wedding officiant within the DMV area we were going to contact. Simply based on the website, the Maryland Wedding Officiant was the first on our list. Everything from the website, the initial consultation with Pastor Ken, working with Jo-Ann to create the perfect ceremony that fits our style, to Pastor Ken performing the actual ceremony was ALL done in spirit of excellence! When my husband and I were looking for someone to officiate our wedding we had no idea where to begin. I did a Google search and The Maryland Wedding Officiant site came up. The website was very nicely done and looked very inviting. We knew we had found the right person when we read about Pastor Ken, his wife, his family and everything they believed in about marriage. The fact that he shared personal information about himself made us relate to him and his family as well. After reading the entire website, it was a bonus to know that he wasn’t just going to officiate our wedding, but he would be there for us afterwards with additional coaching and marriage building, if we need it. It was comforting to know that if we ever wanted to continue to build on our marriage he would be there to assist us. When we called to speak with Pastor Ken to get additional information we had to leave a message, but he promptly returned our call and we have always had great communication with both him and his adorable wife. Upon meeting with him he made us feel at ease and comfortable with the way the ceremony would be handled. He was very professional and organized as he provided us with an outline of the various ceremonies he could perform. He was especially attentive to the needs and feelings of both my husband and I. We wanted to make sure we honored my husband’s mother and other special persons that could not be with us. We also wanted to communicate our personal feelings about interference into our union with our guest. Pastor Ken was more than helpful with suggestions of how to accomplish both. He really listened to our wants and needs and was more than accommodating. He was always willing to answer any questions we had and his wife was very instrumental as well. She made sure that we received all of the documentations and orchestrated the emailing of vows etc... She is a great helpmate for Pastor Ken. Pastor Ken Is a wonderful pastor, he was the only one that truly sympathized with the situation that my fiancé would be on deployment as I planned for our wedding and would not return until 3 days before the wedding(very stressful situation after going thru 3 Pastors). Pastor Ken and his wife are a wonderful team and was a joy to work with. I love that he left the ceremony open to us while giving us so many options. They were able to help us build a wedding that was easy but very special that illustrates us as a couple. My husband and I aren't very conventional and we knew we wanted a short, sweet yet simple ceremony; Pastor Ken was helpful and extremely flexible working with our wishes and made it breathtaking! He was very professional, caring and very easy to talk to with no judgment. By far this was one of the best decision we have made in choosing in planning this wedding. He made sure that he fulfilled all our wedding needs. Any problems or concerns, him and his wife responded quickly to resolve any questions that we had. He has a remarkable character and cares about the couples he works with. I would greatly recommend him to friends, family, co-workers and even Kim Kardashian  lol. Pastor Ken did a great job during our Ceremony and our pre-marital counseling sessions. He was funny yet professional which worked great with our personalities! His wife was also a pleasure to work with.
He could not make our wedding rehersal so we scheduled a time where he met with my husband and our parents to go through the details of the ceremony. Pastor Ken was referred to Julian and I by a friend of a friend. As such we weren't sure what to expect. Our first meeting with him was through Skype (he's tech savvy) and I can honestly say his amazing energy and passion for what he does won us over! We decided to do marriage counseling with him as well and that helped to solidify our commitment and strengthen the foundation of our marriage. In fact, during the sand ceremony, we asked Pastor Ken to pour the first sand to represent God as the foundation of our marriage.

The ceremony itself was lively and full of love. The relationship we developed with Pastor Ken really helped the ceremony take on special meaning. Guests came up to us during the reception to comment on how great the ceremony was. One friend said that ours was "the most fun ceremony [he'd] ever been to!". It felt the same for us as well.

I'm so happy with our choice and I know you will be too!

Pastor Ken and his wife are wonderful. They were able to help us create a wedding that was unique and special. The prematial sessions were a great asset to our relationship. They also give you instructions on what to do after the wedding. Pastor Ken is very busy. I didn't realize that he had to perform three weddings on my wedding day. Still he was able to make us feel like our wedding was priorty. He gave us a 110%. I would highly recommend his services to anyone who is looking for a caring, nonjudemental officiant!

Pastor Ken was fantastic! Our guests were thoroughly impressed with our choice of officiants. Pastor Ken even stayed for a bit to play drums with out guitarist! If I had to do it again, I'd defiantly choose Pastor Ken.

My husband and I did not think twice about who we wanted to perform our wedding ceremony. Pastor Ken had provided us with premarital counseling and helped us regain trust and love within our relationship. He was objective and fair but was very honest which was what we needed. He did not hesistate to perform our wedding and did everything just as we wanted. Perfect poems and scriptures to capture my husband's and my personality. We love Pastor Ken!!!

I was super excited to have Pastor Ken be the officiant for our wedding. My husband and I aren't very traditional and we knew we wanted a short, simple, sweet ceremony--Pastor Ken was helpful and extremely flexible working with our requests and made it perfect! It was a pleasure and a breeze to build our ceremony. He and his wife were always available whether through e-mail or phone calls if I had any concerns or problems. When the day came, he was on time (very professional) and gave a great, lively service. Everyone loved him! So I have to thank Pastor Ken a thousand times over for being the officiant at our wedding--it was awesome. I highly, HIGHLY recommend him!!!!

When we met, what struck us was his professionalism, flexibility, consideration, and how down to earth he was. He gave us some advice from his own experiences and allowed us to design the content of the wedding service. We chose Pastor Ken from a recommendation from our Planner Jessica at Elegant Events. We are so happy we went with Pastor Ken. He is funny, blunt, God fearing, and Bible Based. We had the pre-marital counseling classes. His wife Joann was also very kind, sweet, patient, and worked closely with us as well. Our ceremony was so awesome. Our family is still talking about the ceremony and how Pastor Ken conducted it. WE will HIGHLY recommend the Maryland Wedding Officiant. We can't wait to work with them again preparing for our vow renewal next year.

Pastor Ken and his wife were exceptionally professional. The wedding ceremony was tailored to our personal preference. They made themselves available on short notice for sessions and worked diligently communicating via phone and e-mail to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted. He even followed up afterwards to ensure that we were satisfied and to see if we needed anything else, The entire experience made the planning and our day that much more special. Thanks Pastor

Pastor Ken is simply amazing! Him and his wife are a great team and a perfect addition to any wedding. From the moment we first emailed him we knew that he was going to be our wedding officiant. We found Pastor Ken on the internet- we were looking for someone who wasn't going to be concerned with how me and my husband met, or what our religious views were. We just wanted someone who would be as happy to marry us as we were as happy to be getting married.

He got back to us very promptly, answered all of our questions, and even covered questions we hadn't even thought to ask. When we went to first meet with him we were still a bit confused on what we wanted in terms of a ceremony, but Pastor Ken had a whole package of options that we were able to look over and pick from (as well as change if we so liked). It put us immediately at ease (which isn't easy when you're planning a wedding!)

The day of he was perfect! He was on time and ready to go and didn't falter even once.

If you are having a super traditional wedding, or are an untraditional couple I would still highly recommend him to you! You just can't go wrong.

There are only good things to be said about our experience with Pastor Ken and his wife Jo-Ann. The wedding planning process can be a very stressful one and it was wonderful not having to worry about this one aspect. We really liked being able to select our ceremony and appreciated the prompt responses we always received from them. Pastor Ken was very energetic and extremely down to earth and it was a pleasure having him conduct our ceremony. We would definitely recommend Pastor Ken as he and his wife helped make our day memorable.

Pastor Ken was wonderful to work with when my husband and I were looking for an officiant for our wedding. Neither of us belong to a church, so finding someone to marry us was proving to be a challenge. Pastor Ken worked with us to find out exactly what we wanted from our officiant at our wedding. He delivered a beautiful ceremony and a lovely blessing at the reception. Overall we were very satisfied with his services and would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a wedding officiant.

The union of marriage is a lifelong blessing and commitment. It is important to go into it with eyes wide open, being as prepared as possible. In the year prior to planning our wedding, my husband and I reached out to Pastor Ken to plan our marriage with the help of premarital coaching sessions. During our initial meeting with Pastor Ken, we set up the schedule for our premarital counseling sessions based on what we felt our needs were. We had 8 sessions. We were able to meet with Pastor Ken once a month for these sessions, having in depth discussions around the structure and planning of our family and how it would function personally, emotionally, spiritually, financially, etc. We analyzed individual values in an effort to begin to merge them into joint family values. We addressed lists of questions in which the responses allowed us to have perspective on who were marrying, and how we would (as a married couple) potentially deal with the highs, lows, dark, light, step forward, and lean backward moments of our lives together. Pastor Ken, though quite professional, presented himself on a personal level as he shared experiences to compliment his knowledge of the marriage arrangement. He is an advocate of marriage! Who else to better prepare you for that road? Our sessions were engaging as Pastor Ken enveloped humor with strong background knowledge. People receive consultations prior to making less important, non-lifelong, uncommitted decisions in their lives; buying a car, beginning a new job, getting a haircut, buying an expensive shirt...If these things need discussion, getting married should certainly motivate consultation. Pastor Ken did not hesitate to help guide us on our journey to the alter (he told us when and where to get our document and he walked us through choosing our correct choice of ceremony). These things are beneficial when you just have no idea. Being able to pick up the phone and call someone when you are in need of knowledge or an ear is just one perk of Pastor Ken’s coaching sessions. Pastor Ken took his obvious passion and extended it into the wedding ceremony. He was energetic and humorous, adding a special flavor to the ceremony. Pastor Ken incorporated our guests in the ceremony as a support to our union. When we look back on our special day, the beginning of our lives, we naturally smile from the memories that were made. Among those memories are the moments we spent preparing for them with Pastor Ken. Thank you to his family for sharing him with us, and thank you to him for putting forth his most obvious best effort to get our lives started off right!

Shortly after my (then fiance) husband proposed we booked a reverend. Well, needless, to say, he didn't pan out. He was not readily available for anything and was not willing to work with our schedules to meet and plan our wedding. So, about 4 weeks before our wedding, we decided to look elsewhere. My husband found Pastor Ken online and from the first time we spoke to him, we felt extremely comfortable with him. We live in PA and Pastor Ken's (absolutely fabulous!!!) wife, Jo-Ann, found a half way meeting spot for us. Pastor Ken makes you feel like you've know him forever. He and Jo-Ann did more for us in 4 weeks than the previous rev. did in 8 months. They truly care about the couples they work with and show it in many ways!! He was always available to answer questions and ease concerns. He was on time and professional for everything. I would recommend him to anyone! We received compliments from every single family member about how great Pastor Ken was. We will always keep Pastor Ken and Jo-Ann close to our hearts for helping to make our wedding day very special!

Pastor Ken did an awesome job as my weddding officiant. He was available for counseling sessions and additional support when we needed it. He was on time for all appointment and rehearsals. He has a wonderful personality and cares about the couples he works with. Pastor Ken and his wife are both professional and organized individuals. Two words to describe Pastor Ken and his services...Simply Amazing! My husband and I actually contacted Pastor Ken pretty late into our wedding planning...a month before our wedding date. So I was extremely stressed out, but Pastor Ken made me feel at ease. He met with us immediately and we felt as if we had known him for years! We knew right away that he would be the one to perform our ceremony. He is extremely professional, warm, and funny to boot! And fast in responding to emails and phone calls, which is important for any bride! We received a lot of compliments from our family and friends about how wonderful of a ceremony we had, and it was all thanks to Pastor Ken and his custom made packages. My husband and I highly recommend Pastor Ken, in fact, our friends just got married this past weekend and Pastor Ken performed their ceremony based on seeing how great he was at our wedding.

Pastor Ken was wonderful for our July wedding. He was very down to earth, professional, flexible, funny and truly loves what he does. He offers different types of ceremony which you can cater to your preference. He received glowing praises from our guests after the wedding, and many asked for his information. My then fiance and I contacted Pastor Ken after months of searching for an officiant for our non denominational wedding. We were just weeks away from our wedding day and were losing hope. Excellent. Pastor Ken Patterson has truly been a blessing. My husband and I started working with him about six months prior to our wedding. He provided us with wonderful communication tips and exercises. He makes you feel so comfortable with sharing concerns, fears, and pre-wedding jitters. Pastor Ken's spritual guidance is one my husband and I will always treasure. I can't say enough about how genuine he is. Pastor Ken played a major role in making our wedding day memorable. From the first day I contacted him, to when we first met, to our wedding day, Pastor Ken was nothing but professional, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He gave suggestions/ideas on scriptures and personal ceremonies. We decided on the HandFasting Ceremony which noone at the wedding was familiar with. Everyone talked about that part of the ceremony and I was so glad he suggested it to us. He also gave us a copy of our entire ceremony as a keepsake..GREAT IDEA..We LOVE it! Finally, he was ON TIME which is always wonderful!

Pastor Ken Patterson was absoutely wonderful! My husband (then fiance) and I not only contracted with Pastor Ken to perform our marriage ceremony, but we also participated in his pre-marital counseling sessions as well. Both my husband and I found the counseling sessions to be a fun and rewarding experience that actually facilitated further conversation after the sessions were over. Pastor Ken and Joann were so amazing! We had a wonderful experience with them. They always responded to us super fast. We created a very personalized ceremony, guided by their tips and ideas. Pastor Ken made sure everyone was aware of their job and knew exactly what they were supposed to do. He has a great speaking voice (no mic) and is very personable. Pastor Ken Patterson put together a ceremony that was beyond what my now husband and I expected. Pastor Ken was especially helpful in the planning process and was able to help us find a way to incorporate my daughter into the wedding. He(and his wife Jo-Ann!!) were incredibly patient in the weeks leading up to our big day and were great at responding to ALL of my questions and concerns. Pastor Ken was extremely professional, but had a sincere sense of humor that put my groom and I at ease during the ceremony. Pastor Ken Patterson & his wife JoAnn are simply amazing! Initially we were worried about finding an officiant who would be willing to work with us since we had such a unique situation (months before our wedding we relocated out of state). They were completely understanding of our circumstances & diligently worked with us to make our day simply amazing via Skype, phone calls, & emails. They honored our requests and gave us viable information we needed in preparing our ceremony. We were considering another pastor for our counseling and ceremony but didn't receive such a nice vibe and then we met Pastor Ken. He was easy to talk to and understood our dilemma of finding an officiant since neither of us were actively involved in church at the time of our engagement and wedding. We knew we wanted him to help prepare us for our big day upon our initial meeting.

Pastor Ken did an outstanding job when he performed our ceremony. His light hearted personality added a nice touch to the ceremony and his wife was very helpful in helping us build a program specific to our family dynamics.

I had no idea who I would use as a weddding officiant, and then my mom mentioned that she had seen the Maryland Wedding Officiant on the news performing a ceremony and reccomended that I check him out. So, I did.

He responded to my message on his website fairly quickly and we set up a time to meet and discuss the services he offered. Honestly, I admired the way he conducts his services in such a professional manner. He doenst push any specific views or marriage counseling down your throat but lets you know that the options are available.

He also offers several types of packages and ceremonies to cater to any style or preference you can think of. Its ver convenient because most of the business with him can be done online after the initial meeting. I appreciated being able to customize my ceremony so that it fit our style. It took a lot of stress off of me because he offered so many great options so I didnt have to do much.

He showed up at the wedding on time, and did a great job. He was very personable and mingled with the guests and then did the prayer before we had dinner. Great guy, great service. He's done this a million times. I would highly reccomend him.
