Where to begin? What a special process James and Kathy Spalten made this for my new husband and I. From the first phone call, it felt like the perfect choice. We were looking for a kind soul, with a friendly and heartwarming presence to stand between us on our day. One who could add some lighthearted laughs, but tender words and meaningful moments that would make the ceremony extra special. We were blessed with all of that and more when the day finally came!
After a couple beautiful phone calls talking about who we are and how our love has grown, we received a beautifully curated 1st Draft of our ceremony. With a couple easy requests and additions, the final draft was complete. We truly felt that the ceremony script was perfect; unique to us, our faith, our family's faiths, and our love story. Jim & Kathy have the perfect way of finding what wording feels most appropriate for our love and spiritual beliefs, it was so beautifully catered to what we hoped and dreamed our ceremony would be.
Our day was perfect top to bottom, but the ceremony was, without a DOUBT, the most special and beautiful chapter of the day! Every. Single. Guest. who came up to us raved about how amazing it was, and we couldn't help but agree. "That was the most beautiful ceremony I've ever seen" was said nearly a dozen times! And "Is he a family friend of yours?? It seemed like you 3 have known each other for years!" It sure felt like itThe Marriage Minister's reply:

Jim and Kathy were amazing in all aspects when it came to helping us be wed. The script was created and sent to us quickly, and the two of them were on time and prepared for our rehearsal. Jim and Kathy both showed amazing patience and helped deliver a very warm and heartfelt ceremony which we will never forget. We cant thank them enough and recommend them 10/10! -

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding officiant! From the moment we met, they completely matched our vibe and made the whole ceremony feel so personal and natural. Their attire was absolutely on point, and they brought such a warm, friendly energy that instantly put everyone at ease.
We loved them so much that we invited them to stay for the party — and we’re so glad we did! They fit right in with our guests and even helped get the dance floor going. Truly such a fun, memorable part of our wedding day. Highly recommend to any couple looking for someone professional, personable, and genuinely fun to celebrate with! -

I can’t begin to explain how happy we are that we chose Jim and Kathy for our wedding! They both are the perfect balance of love, care and professionalism. They made sure to always make us feel heard and walked us through every step of the way. We could with certainty say it doesn’t get any better than them. The price is also amazing.. highly recommend to everyone. -

The minister and his wife both are some of the most amazing people!!! They are very professional and passionate about what they do , my ceremony was so beautiful and even more they I hoped for !! Far from home
When looking for ministers to officiate for our wedding, the hardest part of it all was the distance. We live in Washington now and we got married in Arizona. Most of the time we were told no just because we couldn't meet in person. James was excellent and very accommodating. While things weren't going according to plan, our day still turned out absolutely amazing and I would not change a thing. James was very thorough throughout our time working together.The Marriage Minister's reply:

This gentleman and his wife were the absolute best. One day notice because we eloped, he made it all work, was kind and gracious, worked with all our crazy requests, me being late because my dress didn’t cooperate like I wanted, forgetting my flowers and ordering new ones. No one could ask for a better man to preside over their special day. We highly recommend him and his services. You will not be disappointed. -
