Brooke is Top Tier!
Brooke is awesome. We were amazed by her professionalism and dedication to our ceremony. We met only once over a video call and then showed up on the wedding day. She prepared a wonderful elopement style ceremony for us and spoke eloquently and with kindness in her voice. She was responsive and always reachable. She also handled the signing of the certificates smoothly. She kept the communication clear and flowing about writing our vows and other things needed from us. We highly recommend Brooke as a wedding officiant. -

Brooke was great for our small micro wedding
Brooke was wonderful from start to finish. We booked her for our micro wedding this spring and she took what we wanted for our ceremony and worked it into her standard micro wedding script and it turned out perfectly.

Our Special Day
Brooke was great! She drove out to Mt. Baker and endured a rainy ceremony for us. Her ceremony was beautifully written and she included our girls in the most cutest way, by buying them ring pops!
She listened to how our story started, why we chose the forest to get married, and incorporated all of those details in the most unique way. I would 12/10 recommend her for anyones special day! -

Brooke is Amazing!
We loved having Brooke be part of our wedding day. From the moment I met with her, I loved her personality and expertise. She was super quick to respond, had lots of tips about the location we picked, and when our wedding day arrived, all of our guests thought she was my friend or a family member - that's how great she was! Everyone couldn't believe we just randomly found her. She looked great, has a great sense of humor, and kept me on track when my brain was a bit of a blur during the ceremony. Thank you so much Brooke! And to anyone unsure, just book her already! She is just fantastic! -

Perfection
Me and my husband has a small elopement and Brooke was extremely flexible and honestly so fun to be around, she helped with any questions and definitely helped my nerves around it all! Would recommend to anyone needing an officiant!!

Made Our Special Day Everything We Dreamed.
Brooke was incredibly responsive from start to finish. We wanted an easy, small but meaningful mountain wedding, and she delivered. The script she wrote was beautiful, she answered every question I had within a half an hour of me emailing her. She drove up a windy mountain road like it was nothing and married us in the rain. Our set up even fell over with a gust of wind and Brooke didn't miss a beat when we moved up to the porch for cover.
Our day was intimate, special, and exactly what we dreamed it would be. We are so thankful to Brooke and the Marriage Mate for everything. If you're considering, I highly recommend you book now! You won't be disappointed. -

Great experience with Brooke!
Brooke officiated our wedding and she was amazing! We loved working with her.
She kept us in the loop on the different things we had to do about the marriage application, she had a great ceremony speech foundation that she customized for us after talking with us, and she had some good ideas for how to adjust it on the day before the wedding when a key family member referenced in the ceremony was unable to attend. Multiple guests asked us after the fact where we found her because they loved her speech.
We would definitely recommend Brooke to anyone looking for an officiant! -

Brooke was so amazing! The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Everyone at our wedding was very impressed and got emotional during the ceremony. Brooke arrived early and was super flexible. A week prior to the wedding we asked if she could change her arrival time and she responded immediately letting us know she could. Her timeliness, responsiveness, thoughtfulness, kindness, and positivity truly impressed us. Highly recommend!!! -

Wonderful experience
Brooke’s ceremony was beautiful and super thoughtful. We’re from out of state, but planning was a breeze and she was super receptive and flexible to some unique aspects we wanted included in our wedding. Helping us with the marriage license was a huge plus as well since it was one less thing on our plate. Overall, we’d highly recommend! -

Absolutely wonderful
Brooke worked with us in very short notice, within just a couple weeks of our wedding day. We did an elopement-style wedding and she was very responsive and clear about the whole process. We did a zoom call with her where she answered all of our questions. It was a very affordable and fair price. She gave us a template ceremony script and we got to tailor it exactly how we wanted it. She arrived at the ceremony site bright and early (probably about 15-20 minutes before her “scheduled” time) and had no issue coming out to a park to do our ceremony. She made sure to ask what kind of attire we would be wearing (in case we were eloping in casual clothes) so that she could dress appropriately for it. Meeting her in person, she is so kind and so great to have for a ceremony! Plus, now I get to tell everyone we got married by an officiant from Love is Blind 😜 -

Brooke is Special
Brooke is hands down the best there is & can’t say enough good things about her. We knew as soon as we met her, she was the one. She’s very thoughtful, warm, organized and gently guides you through the process. Her ceremony that she put together was amazing and was open to making changes to better fit our relationship. Our only regret is that she doesn’t live closer otherwise we’d adopt her as one of our best friends.
Re: pics, (if that’s important to you) she has an incredible understated yet modern style that will only compliment your photos AND knows exactly where to stand so when you get your wedding photos back, you’ll be incredibly pleased.
Hands down no regrets and worth every penny. Should probably charge more if we’re being honest. -

We found Brooke through our wedding venue as she was on their "preferred vendor list" and let me tell you... she did NOT disappoint! Brooke was absolutely phenomenal!! From the very beginning stages, to the wedding, and even after in helping us secure our marriage license. I do not have enough good things to say about this woman! Very happy that we chose Brooke to officiate our wedding. We appreciated her communication, her flexibility, and how she accommodated all that we wanted from our wedding. Incredible Ceremony
Brooke was wonderful. My (now) husband and I wanted a very intimate ceremony for our small wedding and she did not disappoint. Everyone loved her and she was totally able to roll with the punches and bring humor to every situation. When some people were whispering during the ceremony, she gracefully shut them down so that they would stop being disruptive (my mom already had too much to drink lol!) and we were able to laugh together and move on. It was awesome! -

Dream Officiant!
Brooke is a gem of a human being and truly deserves all the good things in the world! We could not have been more lucky to find her and have her marry us not once, but twice! In May of 2020 when the world was in turmoil we decided to postpone our original wedding plans and elope. It was just the two of us, Brooke and a photographer in an elevated elopement ceremony in our home and Brooke made as feel as if we were at our originally planned wedding. She took so much care in making sure our day was so special.
She truly left a mark on us and her support of the LGBTQ community meant the world to us!
Fast forward to 2022 when we called her to tell her we would love for her to officiate our sequel wedding and she was as thrilled as we were.
She followed our unique request to wearing white and she showed up looking like a goddess!
She took her time to work with us and make sure the layout of the ceremony was exactly what we wanted. She even made us a commemorative wedding certificate for our second wedding!
So thoughtful!! Truly meant to be doing the work she does. Thank you so much Brooke. You made both of our weddings so special and so personal to us and we couldn’t be more thankful! -

Brooke was AMAZING! We were very short on time with finding an officiant. I messaged her late in thee night, and the next morning she replied to me. I told her the date and time we were getting married (in 4 days) and she said she could make it work! She made the ceremony very meaningful with her words as well. My husband and I got married in May 2021 and Brooke officiated our wedding. She was very responsive during our initial communication via email and she took the time to meet with us in person to get to know about us and allowed us to get to know about her before we even booked her. We loved her honesty, transparency and enthusiasm and the way she connected with us. That reflected in the ceremony outline which was personalized, light hearted, meaningful and not too formal, just like how we wanted it to be. She also made the process of signing our marriage certificates and getting certified copies very easy and straightforward. Brooke is awesome and we highly recommend her if you are looking for an officiant who will make your ceremony memorable! -

Fantastic Officiant
Brooke conducted a wonderful ceremony and tailored it to our every need. She is a very warm and open person who will make you much more comfortable if you are nervous. We wanted a casual ceremony with a small party at the Peace Arch Park. The whole ceremony went fantastic. She was very patient as we started slightly late. We would recommend Brooke to anyone at anytime. -

Superb! I highly recommend
Love in the time of Covid-
Trying to get married during these stressful times has been a challenge at best. Now throw in a Canadian fiancé with the border being shut down. Due to a treaty that was written in 1814 I was able to marry the man I love from Canada at the Peace Arch Park but had to move quickly in fear of a park closure. Brooke was absolutely amazing! She met us on very short notice and has this genuine warmth and sense of humor that brought us peace and calming! I will be forever grateful that she was able to officiate on our very special day.

Wonderful officiant!
My wife and I eloped a few weeks ago and Brooke did an excellent job officiating our wedding. From the moment we contacted her, she was inviting and warm, answering any questions we might have. Professional with a warm heart
Due to the current crisis, we had to change our wedding plans and do an express intimate ceremony. In the Wedding Wire we found various recommendations, and hired the Marriage Mate. Her responsiveness and understanding made the process smooth. The ceremony was unconventional and private, but Brooke made it special, guiding us through it with ease and professionalism. Beautiful service
We wanted our wedding to be the most casual affair and we expected the service to be that too. Brooke was easy to contact and easy to book, very friendly and timely. She managed to surprise us, as she elevated the ceremony from our expected casual to a very touching, emotional, and unforgettable time. Her words about marriage were pure poetry, with wise and tender advice interlaced at every step. It showed that she put a lot of thought and heart into it, and that she found the right inspiration to pass on to those taking the marriage vows. -

Amazing experience

Initimate small wedding
Brooke was the perfect officiant for us. She was easy to work with (we wanted to incorporate traditional & non traditional vows, and have a sand ceremony and have our kids involved in the ceremony!), and our kids felt so comfortable with her. She helped us from vows, and so easily navigated our ceremony from the teary moments, laughing moments, to one awkward/funny moment. She also went way above in preparing for the ceremony ! She clearly knows her game! She was professional, and had the warmest heart! I would definitely recommend her to the next couple. -

Brooke is wonderful! We had a vision for an intimate ceremony that would be simple yet perfect for us. We were very last minute with contacting officiants but she responded right away and was very supportive and came to us. We set up what we wanted visually and when she showed up she made us feel very comfortable and has the personality that just meshed with us and who we had there. If you haven't already booked an officiant, Brooke Bakogeorge is who you want! We're so lucky we found her. We were getting down to the wire and needed to book an officiant ASAP. I was looking on weddingwire.com and came across Brooke and from the moment I met her, I knew she was the right pick for us.
Brooke's communication through out the whole planning process was outstanding. If ever I emailed/called/texted Brooke, she responded within 30 minutes. She answered all of our questions and made the whole process easy! We were able to relax and enjoy the wedding because we knew we were in good hands. Brooke was so easy to work with from start to finish. She met us close to our home for our get to know each other session. We clicked with her down to earth style and good sense of humor. She sent us a Copy of the vows to review and edit several weeks prior. We were impressed with the personal things she incorporated even though only meeting us one time. She integrated a few things we asked for as well, like talking about our dog, without batting an eye. Brooke showed up early at our wedding and made sure any questions were answered since we didn't have her come to the rehearsal. Her officiating of the ceremony was lovely and had just the right amount of humor built in. Brooke helped make our day extra special and seemed more like a long time friend than someone we've only known a few months. Some of our friends and family commented it was the most beautiful wedding ever and Brooke definitely was part of that. Thank you Brooke! -

Brooke is amazing!!! I know the trend is to have a friend or family member be the officiant, and we were initially planning on that too, partly because it felt more personal and it’s free . However, Brooke spent time with us and wrote such a beautiful ceremony that if felt personal, and she’s so wonderful that it felt like she was part of our family. She’s also very professional and knows exactly what to do during the processional, hand off, ceremony and recessional. There are so many little details that I wouldn’t have thought of and so many things I wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t for Brooke. It was so helpful having her at the rehearsal. She even traveled to Blaine for our rehearsal on Friday and stayed through our late ceremony on Saturday! For our vows, she had them all printed on pretty cards and ready to go for us at the ceremony. She’s very prompt and was on top of the marriage license! She explained that process to us and got it in right away. I just can’t say enough good things about her! I feel like we overpaid for so many things in the wedding, but definitely not Brooke. She’s a great value and worth every penny! We are so happy we chose her to officiate our wedding. The ceremony could not have been better – thanks to Brooke!

Brook was an amazing wedding officient. We met up with her about 2 months prior to the wedding at a Starbucks and even though we were late she was so kind and funny! We were only there for about a half hour and she asked us series of questions about are family,lifestyle and relationship and from that she wrote such beautiful vows the whole ceremony that she wrote was amazing she added a poem and prayer and we got married at a winery so she also incorporated that as well. We had her come to reversal which was really worth it because we had no idea what we were doing and she really helped us get organized. The day of the ceremony was perfect she did such a great job she has beautiful speaking voice and made us all stay nice and calm even though it was pouring down rain!! She was perfect I couldn't of had anyone better! -

She read our wed site and she asked all the right questions to make sure our ceremony expressed who we were, how we felt, and the message we wanted our friends and family to hear. I have had so many comments and feedback from our guests about how this ceremony was the most beautiful and intimate they had ever attended. And she dressed for the occasion more appropriately then I could have imagined.
Not only did she master the ceremony, she was great at handling all the curve balls we sent her, like changing our venue last minute from Glacier Valley to Shuksan Mountain. She hung around for us to sign our wedding license when "somebody" forgot it back at the cabin.
We really enjoyed our chats with Brooke leading up to the wedding, and we would recommend her, if you want to look back on your moment as fondly as we do. -

We never met before our ceremony and The Marriage Mate made it seem seamless. She did a wonderful job at our ceremony. Brooke was an absolute dream come true!! When I met with her my fiance was not present but I felt so confident with her that I knew she was "the one"! When I met with her she explained that she was pregnant and due right before our wedding but assured as that if we had to have a replacement she would make sure that everything went as smooth as if she were there herself. I emailed her numerous times over those few months leading up to the wedding and she was always so prompt at responding and answering every question I had. When she showed up for the rehersal she brought along our ceremony to go over and even changed it up with a mock comedy ceremony!! The day of the wedding she made sure that I was ok; that my nerves were settled. The ceremony was so beautiful and Brooke made my day so special. Brooke, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You did an amazing job!! -

We booked Brooke for our wedding almost 8 months in advance. She was always so plesent and willing to help with anything to do with the wedding via many emails or phone calls. The day we met Brooke she told us that she had just found out that she was going to be having a baby and that the due date was right around our wedding date. Brooke was very honest about the possablity that she would not be the one actually officiating at our wedding but that she had someone in mind just in case the baby came. My husband and I felt very comfortable with her and trusted that everything would go well. Brooke did end up having her baby girl the night before our wedding so she had michelle fill it. She was wonderful! In all our wedding was great and Brooke was a big part of that. -

Brooke provided everything that I could possibly have imagined. She was very prompt in her responses and always attentive to our requests. When we forgot the marriage license at home (oops) she arranged to meet us the following day to sign it.

She was perfect. She was very perfessional and took the time to find out what would work best for us. We told her it would be on a sailboat and she came up with a beautiful ceremony incorporating the ocean and a unity sand ceremony. We even got requests for her written words. We loved her. From our first phone call we wanted Brooke to be our officiant. She put us at ease with her delightful personality and professionalism.Our first visit only confirmed to us that she was the perfect choice for us. She listened to our story, asked what we wanted and made sure it was all about us. When we recieved our vows that she had created we couldn't believe how well she had captured our specific situation and personality's. Our vows were beautiful. On our wedding day there was terrible traffic and some of our guests were late and Brooke showed her flexability and understanding by going with the flow and had no problem postponing our ceremony until all of our guests arrived.During the ceremony she had us feeling comfortable and reassured. Her spoken words added even more beauty to our vows and our guests were as touched by her words as we were.We highly recommend Brooke as an officiant for your special day as she will make sure it is all about you and what your needs are by bringing her professionalism and unique personality. -
