Beautiful Venue!
I plan and I see a lot of events at different venues but this venue had something more to it and allowed people to be so comfortable and spacious to accommodate all guests. It was cost effective and the contacts Barbie and Danielle was awesome! Thank you for making my event as memorable as possible!!! The guests were so excited to attend this event! -

Wow! Oh wow!
Wow! This place is gorgeous from the mansion itself to the grounds. It’s absolutely a dream. We had around 70 people and there was so much room, that we didn’t know what to do with it all. And the price for the size was such a steal! Highly recommend! -

Wedding by the water
The mansion at tuckahoe is a beautiful hidden gem! We are big outdoor people and this venue has everything you need to have the perfect set up for an outdoor ceremony and reception! The views of the intracoastal were unbeatable, landscaping was stunning, it was a dream!-

Amazing venue
"Absolutely stunning venue! From the picturesque surroundings to the impeccable service, our wedding day was a dream come true. Jacqueline and Danielle were amazing answering all my questions and responded quickly to every email, and there were a lot. Being able to get ready in their bridal suite while watching my vision, come to life was a truly special experience. Highly recommend the Mansion at Tuckahoe for anyone looking for a magical setting for their special day!" -

Stunning wedding venue
My fiance and I were searching for a venue where we had the ability to customize our day and we wanted a venue that would allow us to stay past 10 PM. After meeting with the team at the Mansion, we were sold. This venue is stunning with expansive grounds and absolutely stunning. We had a wedding of over 175 guests and all our guests could not get over how gorgeous this venue is. -

Amazing !!
This venue was perfect!! If you are getting married here I highly recommend having a wedding planner just because you will have to do all the set up, my wedding planner was a god send!!! My guests loved the venue!! We rented just the mansion/terrace . I had my ceremony at the round about in the front because I wanted the mansion to be focal point, perfection!!! My guests loved the entrance of me out of the front doors 🚪 OMG THe views as well were amazing !! We arrived at the venue at 8 am and got ready there which worked out perfectly , we ordered some food and got drinks to keep in the center room while everyone got ready and it was such a good idea !!! Remember to eat! The reception was also perfect. I didn’t rent a tent but did rent the bistro lighting which was just enough. I also rented Marquee letters and it was perfect on the terrace.-

Great value and blank slate
Still one of the best decisions i made for my wedding. The venue is so beautiful and is completely open with a naturally serene backdrop. Couldn’t ask for anything more for the money. The only drawback is that it is on a public park so people are used to being able to just roam the grounds freely. Ex: a bus of prom students showed up on my wedding day to take photos. They were turned away by my team but was still slightly inconvenient. Also count on it being an majority outdoor venue. The inside is nice but older so not really open.-

Beautiful and Super Affordable Venue!!
An absolutely perfect venue for a wedding! Our wedding was perfect for both the ceremony and reception. Private rooms upstairs for the bride, groom, and wedding party to get ready. 4 rooms to seperate your cocktail hour, dinner, and dance floor. Most importantly, you can get the most amazing photos all around the building and the park. Super affordable for couples on a budget. -

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue. The Indian River State Park staff was fantastic to work with throughout the process. You can really make your dream wedding come true here because it is a blank slate. You don't even need to stress over a ton of decor because the views and venue are enough!! People keep telling us how much they enjoyed it and how beautiful it was. -

We had our wedding at the Mansion at Tuckahoe and it was wonderful and so romantic. It is a beautiful historic venue that provides gorgeous scenery. The only downside is the Mansion can get very windy on the terrace. We ended up having to move our ceremony and reception indoors because of high winds but our wedding planner and vendors made it look remarkable! Guests didn't know the difference and it add a more intimate feel to our wedding. I highly recommend this venue to any future bride and groom and to also get a wedding planner who has done weddings at the Mansion. They offer invaluable experience, tips, and expertise to executing a wedding there. -

My husband and I originally found out about Indian Riverside Park by a quick blurb online. We had been searching and searching to no avail for a few months for a wedding venue that had an outside location under trees with an inside reception area as well (September in Florida can be unpredictable and we needed an inside option on site!), affordable, and could hold a larger amount of people. This location exceeded our expectations. We drove up on a Sunday afternoon to scope the place out and instantly fell in love. I spoke with Patti in the office and she is so sweet! Could not have been more helpful with details and information, and was always quick to answer any questions I had. The location itself is stunning. We were married under the large oak trees and had our reception in the Frances Langford Dockside Pavilion. The Pavilion is a large two story building with the entire upstairs being an open floor plan, wrap around veranda porch with multiple French doors that overlook the park and the intercostal. The pricing was the best we found for what we needed, and the venue came with tables and chairs. -

I highly recommend the Mansion at Tuckahoe as a wedding reception venue. In particular, Patti DeSantis at the Mansion was incredibly professional and easy to work with. The venue itself is beautiful, and the scenery around it make it spectacular. We had our reception at the Mansion this past February. We were blessed with beautiful weather, which made a huge difference. We tented the back patio area and had dinner, dancing, lounging all in and around the tent. The food was set up inside one of the Mansion's rooms. We also used the bide's room to get ready early in the day before going to the church for the ceremony. Within two days of our wedding, Patti was already processing our security deposit refund. Martin County really has a great thing going with the Mansion, and I hope other brides use this gem of a place for their special day. -

I love everything about the Mansion! My husband and I originally book the pavilion at the park but after we saw the Mansion, we decided to switch to the Mansion. The price was definitely a lot more so we made some sacrifices (skipped out on a fancy rehearsal dinner) to have the nicer venue. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the house and property. The view is breathtaking. My bridesmaids and I loved getting ready in the bridal suit with the gorgeous view of the river.
And the people that we worked with at the Mansion are all so great!!! Patty was super helpful and answered any questions we had. Brian also super helpful and even went as far to make sure I was eating the day of the wedding. Frank was at the venue the day of the wedding to set up and made setting up and decorating easier than expected. EVERYONE WAS SO HELPFUL! My family and I really appreciated how much they stressed that they can set things up the way we want and that they are totally flexible. We researched and talked to a LOT of venues and were extremely relieved when we met the Mansion staff. Their goal is to make your wedding day the best that it can be for you - not them like what I've seen from other vendors. Without ANY hesitation I would recommend the Mansion at Tuckahoe!!! You will not be disappointed. -

Patty and the mansion staff helped to make our wedding everything we dreamed of. There were some minor bumps at the beginning of the process due to changes in staff, but the beauty of the venue kept us hooked even through that and we are so glad we stuck it out. Our guests were blown away by the views at Tuckahoe and the feel of the venue cannot be achieved at any banquet hall or hotel ballroom. It is truly one of a kind and to us was worth every penny. It really felt like our home by the time it was all decorated, which was exactly what we wanted. Just visit the venue and I promise you will fall in love too. -

My wedding here was just beautiful. The venue itself can be tricky because of its layout, but it is totally worth it! The mansion sits on top of a hill overlooking the intracoastal, making a great backdrop for a photoshoot. The staff was really easy to work with and so nice, giving me a lot of helpful information. They only allow approved vendors. They do give a discount if you are a Martin County resident. I would reccomend a wedding planner for this venue. Exceeded my expectations for my dream wedding! -

Could not have been happier with this venue, the property, the value. It is beyond beautiful and could not have asked for a more perfect spot to say “I do” with the water in the background and beautiful mansion behind us. The property encompasses numerous picturesque spots for the most perfect wedding pictures!-

May 13th, the perfect venue
This location was so beautiful and clean I couldn’t have asked for a better venue. The girls were very helpful and professional and I was able to have my dream wedding. The pictures are gorgeous because everywhere you turn there is a photo op at this venue. Also, the history adds to the vibe. I was Born and raised in Stuart, FL and the history made it even more special to me. Thank you guys so much for a perfect day at a perfect venue! -

I booked the mansion for my upcoming wedding and have had such a wonderful experience with them over the past year. The venue itself is GORGEOUS and right on the intercoastal. It is a bit pricey but I understand they are planning on offering partial rentals which should be more affordable. I took one point off for flexibility because you need to have your vendors approved (or use previously approved vendors), but it is not very hard to do that. Great indoor space and several options for an outdoor ceremony or reception. I am beyond excited to have my wedding there! -

This place is amazing for that special day!! The mansion was the final and best touch to all the hard and detailed work put into our wedding. Our guest were very pleased with the location!! This location is perfect to break up your party from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception and you are still left to room for your guest to take a break when needed while they still enjoy a beautiful view!!! -

I loved everything about it! It's very affordable, the location and view is excellent, the space is great, there are endless opportunities to have different picture scenarios. However, the one and the only complaint that I have is that they are horrible at answering emails and even worse at answering phone calls! -

Reception venue
Amazing venue. Picturesque. Guests raved about it. Limitations with vendors but we used a wedding planner and I would recommend using one for sure. We rented whole larger building for a Saturday. It was amazing with marker lighting and being inside and outside for the event. Book early. It’s pricey but we enjoyed. -

My husband and I loved the view that this venue had and the blank slate to give whatever look we wanted. In hindsight, we could have chosen a venue with less of a blank slate but still kept our view. Getting into the mansion was always a PIA. I always made appointments and somehow we always either had to wait outside in the blistering heat or get cranky faces from the tour staff. We wanted to utilize the building for the price that we paid, but even getting simple answers was difficult (like how many people and tables fit in each room). It's also hot inside the building and the staff CANNOT turn the air lower which really would have been good to know from the beginning with 50+ people sharing one space. The venue is beautiful and I loved it but the staff needs work in my opinion. -

I can not express how disappointed I was at how the venue communicated with me during the last upcoming month of our wedding. The week of the wedding (monday and the wedding was on friday) they called me and told me that the bathrooms broke at the portion of the venue we were going to use. Now, I know that this was not their intentions or their fault by any means but I was disappointed with how they handled the situation. They called and told me that nothing could be done. That we would have to use port-a-potties for the wedding guests. That was it or we needed to move the reception to another location of the venue- all which have uneven grounds or a large unwanted/ugly pond right in the middle of the space(which is in the process of being removed). If we there was a chance that we would have to use another area of the venue we would have never booked the mansion at all. They did not even offer a discount. Then they did not answer any of our calls for the next 3 days. I had to hear from other vendors that apparently the bathrooms could be fixed on time(and they were on Thursday), which was a relief but the mansion could have given me a relief call. Also, months prior, someone had double booked our venue date. We booked the venue in February with our wedding in December. We were the first to book so they called and gave us the option to move our wedding date and they would give us the venue for free. After I already had all my vendors, bridal party, and hotels switched they called me the next morning to say oops never mind. In which case, I had to call and switch everything again. The place is beautiful, but the people running it just don't seem to care, and do the very minimum. I guess thats what happens when its a city park venue -

The electric circuits in the kitchen kept blowing, causing many issues with warming the food. The staff was an hour late to open the door for the event company to set up the room, yet when we asked to change the time, we were told they already had staff assigned for those times and were unable to change. The downstairs waiting room was used after the ceremony. When the wedding party and photographer went outside for pictures, the doors all locked and we were unable to get back inside. We had to call the emergency number, this delayed the wedding party 45 minutes. At the end of the night, when we were leaving, a staff member arrived to say we needed to do a walk thru before we could have the security deposit back. We were told he had to look for scuff marks on the walls since the just painted.....seriously....we had 3/4 of the room full of pipe and drape. No one touched the walls. We hung bistro lighting on the patio to create ambiance but were unable to turn off the "stadium" lighting on the outside of the building. Communicating with the venue was horrible, the response time was poor and the information dwindled in. It is a shame because it is a great venue in a great location. -

Run away from this place!
I’m not one to write reviews. However, this one is needed. I wasn’t the groom on this wedding but being one of the groomsmen I saw how terrible the experience was for on my friend. We could not enjoy the wedding and the whole time the venue manager was being incredibly unprofessional.
My pregnant wife was helping the Photo Booth crew know where to setup and Ms. Jacquelyn came in screaming at her for no reason. My wife had nothing to do with anything and was lending a hand. This unprofessional manager began screaming at my pregnant wife stating that she needs to get everyone in order. This was because the groom along with the friends helping with the wedding contacted her asking for help because people were walking into the private event. They asked her to do her job.
This manager never bothered to introduce herself to my wife and nor did she bother to ask whom she could talk to. Instead she proceeded to yell at my pregnant wife. My wife then began to panic attack and even the Photo Booth people were kind enough to help my wife leave the scene. This ruined our night as all my wife wanted to do was leave, but we stayed out of love for our friends.
Through out the whole event there were multiple issues that followed. Staff dresses unprofessionally, and missing listed items in the contract.
Lastly, I know the place is old, but you can clearly see that they don’t spend time keeping it alive. There was a ton of water damage and rust all over the place.
I would caution anyone from using this place. Weddings should be magical and should be fun. The bride and groom shouldn’t feel like they have someone looking over their shoulder all the time.-

Worse Venue - would regret if you use them
This Venue was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. From the moment I booked the venue, they lied about the services and amenities they offered. After paying a hefty fee, I found out that there were numerous issues with the venue. The worst part is that they forced me to use all their vendors from their list, making it extremely difficult for me to bring in outside vendors. On top of that, outside vendors are required to pay a fee just to register, which is completely unreasonable.
As a bride, I had to do my makeup outside the venue because none of the makeup artists on their list met the venue's ridiculous requirements. The whole experience was a nightmare, and I strongly advise anyone considering Venue to look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and find a venue that actually cares about their clients' needs and doesn't make the wedding planning process a complete disaster.p On top of everything else, on the day of our wedding, we encountered even more problems at Venue.
We were shocked to find out that one of the restrooms was closed, and no one bothered to inform us about it. This caused a major inconvenience since there were custom made restroom baskets that had utilities. Additionally, despite my request, the venue failed to turn on the fireplace, which was a key feature I wanted for the ambiance of the event during the cocktail hour.
Additionally, there were challenges with the execution of the event plan, specifically concerning the setup of chairs and tables. Despite submitting a detailed plan requesting their arrangement, they were not initially set up as requested. Regrettably, I had to engage in a discussion, providing proof via email correspondence to affirm the prearranged request. Subsequently, they acknowledged receipt of the plan and proceeded with the setup.
The worst part of our experience at Venue was the constant intrusion of people from the public walking through our private event. Not only did they disrupt the ambiance, but they were taking pictures of our decorations, and to our shock, someone even stole flowers from our setup. This was an absolute nightmare and a complete violation of our privacy and security.
To make matters worse, when I repeatedly informed the venue staff about these intrusions, their response was dismissive at best. I was told to simply ask the intruders to leave, as if I didn't have enough on my plate already. It was incredibly frustrating to have to constantly monitor and manage public access to the venue when we were promised that no one from the public would be allowed in.
As if the lack of privacy and security wasn't enough, there were also not enough signs to clearly indicate that the event was private, allowing the public to wander in without realizing they were encroaching on a private event.
To make matters worse, the staff at the venue were dressed extremely unprofessionally, with some wearing shorts and shirts. This was incredibly disappointing given that it was a wedding, where everyone is dressed up, and it reflected poorly on the venue's overall presentation. During ceremony you could see the staff sitting in the venue with their feet up resting. As if that wasn't enough, there was an old golf cart in the way, which was an eyesore and detracted from the beauty of the venue.
I cannot stress enough how much I regret choosing Venue for my wedding. The litany of issues and lack of professionalism made what should have been a joyous occasion into a stressful and disappointing experience. I ended up leaving the wedding earlier after I paid extra hours but I left because my blood pressure increased so high from all this issues that the venue caused. I urge anyone considering this venue to think twice and explore other options.
Furthermore, it is crucial to address the unprofessional conduct of the staff manager, who not only became upset but also resorted to screaming and disrespectful communication during a phone call. The incident occurred when she felt slighted by someone stating she was busy and unable to assist immediately, leading to her departure with her staff, displaying a lack of professionalism. Testimonials from vendors, including the photobooth setup team, highlight concerns about her behavior, with documented proof and subsequent text messages of apology from her.
The experience at Venue was a complete disaster, and I would strongly caution anyone against considering this venue for their special event. The lack of professionalism, security, and privacy made our wedding day far more stressful than it ever should have been. -
