My dream came true with this venue

The Manor was beyond everything I imagined. It’s beautiful and so well organized. I couldn’t have choose a better place to be part of my special moment. I am so in love with them! The food was delicious, the people were so attentive and I am sending all my gratitude for each one of them who helped my husband and I on our big day! ❤️

A Beautiful Venue with Character and Great Value

The Manor is a beautiful and unique venue with a high value for reasonable prices. It was an easy choice for us because we had both been to events at The Manor before and loved it. We also were looking for a venue that had character; a lot of venues have beautiful banquet rooms, but many of them look very similar, with white walls and multi-colored uplighting. We really love that The Manor’s spaces are different and unique. The Imperial Room and Starlight Gardens, where we had our reception, are beautiful rooms, with rich dark paneling, a huge chandelier, a glassed-in greenhouse-like area for the cocktail hour, and a waterfall outside the huge windows surrounded by a lovely landscaped outside area which was perfect for photo sessions and for guests to wander and enjoy the spring weather.

The food is always good, and you get quite a large variety of dishes to choose from. Everything we tried there was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. The bar was easily accessible and the drinks were great too. The staff was helpful, kind, and attentive, especially Roman, the banquet manager and our contact for whenever we needed anything. They let me set up my decorations the day before and were very helpful whenever I had a question or needed help. They also helped to pack everything up and have it ready for us the next morning. They accommodated our request for an after-party, which we had upstairs in the Minuet Garden Room for an additional fee, and this was so great. This room is another beautiful space which was perfect for a casual hangout after the main party.

The only complaint we had was a slight mishap with the cake which was most likely the result of a miscommunication. The Manor was apologetic about the mistake and even gave us a partial refund for the cake to make up for it, which we appreciated.

Overall, we love The Manor, its decor and atmosphere, its staff, and the general positive vibes we get from this beautiful place, and we highly recommend it as a wedding venue!

Perfect Day

Just had my wedding at the manor on 1/15/22 and the guests can't stop raving about the food and how great it was! Leading up to our wedding we were in contact with Roman who was incredibly responsive and helpful. It felt like anything I asked for from him was the easiest thing in the workd and he had no problem getting done. So the planning processs was so easy.

The day of was great as well! My bridal attendant Willene,(who was a nice bonus since I didn't know I was getting one) was frikken amazing! This woman was soooooo helpful! She set up a lovely mimosa section for us while we got ready in the morning before church. She helped me tape my boobs in place?! , she helped my bridesmaids bustle my dress, she got that veil stuck in my head so good it didn't budge until we took it out. She was ready with bobby pins at all times it seemed. She ran me out my shoes when I was freezing outside taking pictures. Got me my hand warmers that I left in the bridal suite. She is a true MVP! Best unofficial bridesmaid ever. Our maitre D for the evening was Laura who was also lovely and very helpful. We almost missed our toast and she made sure we got one in. She guided us on our cake cutting and kept changing the air conditioner when I asked which was at least 3 times. Lol.

The only complaint I have was that I didn't get any of my passed appetizers. I came 30 minutes late to my cocktail hour and no one wandered over to me with anything. It was pretty disappointing since we all know cocktail hour apps are the best. I wish the workers would have prioritized feeding me since I was the one in a ballgown. But overall the Manor handles events pretty seamlessly. I'm really hoping I get to attend a wedding here as a guests so I can taste all the food I missed. :/ lol.

Dream Come True

The Manor is one of the most beautiful and affordable venues! Since I visited for a friend's wedding, I fell in love. It is traditional, ornate, prestigious, beautiful, classy, breathtaking, and more! Roman and staff are amazing and catered to our every need! The grounds are stupendous, the interior is overwhelming. Rain or shine, your ceremony will be fabulous with indoor and outdoor options. The Manor is historical, and has been known and loved by all for so many years. I will cherish this place forever, plan to do anniversary events in the future, and pray the buffet dinners will make a come back!

The Manor Gave Us The Christmas Wedding of Our Dreams

I absolutely loved our wedding at The Manor! Everything was better than I could have ever imagined - it was truly the wedding of our dreams! The staff, including Rolf the Catering Sales Manager, were so friendly and helpful - they really helped make sure everyone had a wonderful time! My bridal attendant Willene was the true MVP of the day and I’m so happy I had her keeping everything on track. She really went above and beyond. We had our wedding in The Imperial Room which is just gorgeous! The food was also amazing. After the wedding, we rented the Terrace Lounge for an after party which was also awesome. Thank you so much to everyone at The Manor!

Awesome venue

They answered all of my questions, helped make changes to bring the cost down. Roman is the best he answered all of my questions and my 30 emails in a timely manner. He is so pleasant and understanding and patient.

Absolutely amazing!

The Manor is absolutely beautiful! From our initial site tour with Jennifer we fell in love and knew this was the venue for our Wedding. Jennifer guided us the whole way and was so professional and truly cared about our special day. When we arrived on property I cannot say enough about the service. We were taken care of from food in our bridal suite to being followed as we were taking photos with drinks, food and help with my dress on the outside grounds. We can’t thank the entire staff for all of your hard work! Our Wedding was perfect!!

Amazing wedding!

I had the most amazing wedding that one could imagine. Wow!!!! The guests were so impressed with our venue choice. We walked down that beautiful aisle on August 31st. Surrounded by flowers, a beautiful altar, beautiful blue sky and the manor in the background...wow what a picture perfect day!! They walked me through each and every step. People working there are true professionals. They were never frustrated with my million questions and my OCD ways. The bridal attendant was SO nice! They made sure I was hydrated, well fed and assisted with my dress changes! So amazing!

Great experience

The man that we met with, Ralph, was very kind and informative. Meeting him was great. Ultimately, this venue was not my taste in terms of what I am envisioning for my wedding, but the food there is incredible and the staff is very helpful and informative. I will be attending a rehearsal dinner here in 2020 and am really looking forward to it!

Love love loved

I absolutely loved this venue! The gardens leading to where the ceremony would be was instantly my favorite part. Unfortunately, we did not end up choosing The Manor as our venue due to the size of our wedding and which room we preferred, but if we had wanted a larger wedding The Manor would have been a perfect fit! They were very helpful & let us really get a feel for the place.

Our wedding was perfect! From planning to the day of, everything was taken care of. Event planner Jennifer, My bridal attendant Marialex and my Maitre D' Noemi were phenomenal! They made the day run so smoothly and made sure we had everything we needed. Marialex was by my side, changing my shoes, helping bustle my dress, she did it all! I don't know what I would've done without her! The Manor made our cake it was so beautiful, exactly what we wanted and the food was delicious. I wanted to get married at the Manor since I was a little girl. The whole day was a dream come true.

This August my husband & I celebrated our 17th year wedding anniversary with a Catholic church wedding. Roman was our banquet manager when we first got married at the Highlawn Pavilion 17 years ago. When we learned Roman was at The Manor, there was no hesitation to book this event with him. We celebrated the event in the Minuet Room, a perfect sized room for the number of guests we had. Washington, the maitre d' took good care of us, and assigned me a young lady who took care of my gown. The food was excellent, and the wait staff friendly and very efficient. Everything about this place is simply amazing. All our guests truly enjoyed the ambiance, the deliciously prepared food, and the beauty of The Manor. Thanks so much, Roman, for all your professionalism and making this another spectacular event in our lives !! And thanks for providing all the details and little extras !!

The Manor did an amazing job! Our wedding was perfect, and they exceeded our expectations! The entire staff at the Manor were fantastic, they were very helpful and attentive the whole night. Our guests couldn’t stop telling us how much fun they had, that the place was beautiful, and food was delicious. The bartenders were also amazing they just kept the drinks coming. We are so happy we went with the Manor for our special day! I would highly recommend any couple to go with the Manor - it's reasonably price and you get so much for your money.

My husband and I used to work in the wedding industry at a catering hall prior to our own wedding. From every detail within the venue, to the food and service, so much goes on behind the scenes. Having had that experience, when we got engaged, we had a very clear vision of what we wanted. When we set out to look at venues, nothing compared to The Manor.

The Manor is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Outside, there is a gorgeous ceremony space, waterfalls, bridges, and gardens – all perfect locations for photographs. Inside, we had our reception in the Imperial room, which has a beautiful glass-enclosed cocktail area, along with a stunning ballroom, complete with a beautiful chandelier over the dance floor. Thanks to The Manor, our wedding photographs are absolutely amazing, we had a beautiful ceremony space to exchange our vows, and we had a gorgeous ballroom to celebrate in.

On the food side of things, my husband and I definitely had a high standard. My husband went to culinary school, and we both worked at a catering hall for several years. The Manor exceeded all expectations. The cocktail hour had so much delicious food – our guests are still raving about it! The dinner was fantastic, as well as the dessert. Everyone who attended is still telling us how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed the food.

The service was also fantastic. During the wedding planning process, my husband and I worked with James. He was super easy to work with and answered all of our questions. The day of the wedding, Marialex (sorry if I misspelled your name!) made sure I was attended to. From helping to carry my train to bringing us water, making my husband and I plates of food at cocktail, and helping to clean up at the end of the night, she was so sweet and helpful – I can't thank her enough!

Thanks to The Manor, my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams! I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wonderful wedding.

The Manor is a stunning venue and the staff is top notch. We worked primarily with James Levinsky and he was great. Whatever we wanted the answer was yes. I don’t think that we asked for anything extraordinary, but it was great to be accommodated for those things we did request. He responded to my emails within a couple of days at first and then within the last month his responses came much quicker. We chose the Imperial Room and Starlight Gardens for our cocktail hour and reception, the Colonnade room for our ceremony, and the Wine Cellar for our private bridal party cocktail hour. These rooms are so gorgeous on their own that they do not require much decorating. It was the perfect setting for a fall wedding. The grounds are beautiful as well, though we did not get to take many photos outside due to the afternoon rain showers. The food is amazing, you get a ton of it, and the guests were raving about it all night. My Bridal Attendant was Willene and she was incredible. From the moment she came to the bridal suite through the end of the night she was sweet and attentive. She met my every need (even those needs I didn’t even realize I had). She was calm and her presence was steadying. Naomi was our Maitre’d and she did an marvelous job of coordinating the evening. She followed our plans perfectly and I was stress free knowing that she running the show. My husband and I had a wonderful day and a spectacular night and it is because the The Manor staff knows what they are doing.

We got married at The Manor this May 2017 and had a fantastic time. The venue is beautiful and doesn't require much decorating aside from centerpieces. The staff were accommodating from planning to wedding day. They were always ready and willing to make adjustments as we needed. For example, our original menu plan (when we first booked) had different options then their updated menu (a month before the wedding and we were picking which items to include). They were willing to let us choose from the original choices that we were excited about. Also, during the reception, the waitstaff were fantastic. Definitely went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. All of our guests can't stop raving about the beautiful grounds, the delicious food, and the great time they had!

We loved The Manor for our recent August 2017 Wedding. The space was perfect for our 150 guests. We had our ceremony in the beautiful garden, and cocktail in the glass rooms over looking the sprawling fountains, and reception in the regency room with beautiful chandler. The grounds were perfect for all the pictures, with the flowers and fountains. We did our first look on one of the bridges and it was wonderful. It was very romantic walking down the flower covered arched aisle to meet my husband for our ceremony outside. The staff was very accommodating and we were able to customize the space with a photo both, moving monogram, flat screen tv with a picture slideshow by the bar. The guests had a fantastic time and the food in the cocktail hour and dinner was delicious! If you are looking for a wonderful venue thats picture perfect, professional and delicious, booking at The Manor is a MUST! * Also ask for Rolf Schick, he was fantastic with us from start to finish and walked us through everything and answered any and every question that we had!!! GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!

James Levinsky is organizing all of my wedding plans at the Manor and so far I must say he is amazing.y wedding is scheduled for June 30th 2018 and I have no doubt it will be amazing. The venue grounds are gorgeous, all the staff are attentive and kind and the food tasting was a lot of fun. I also recommend Jen Cooper for any wedding services at the Manor... she is AMAZING. I just can't say enough. Spectacular people, spectacular wedding. We truly can't wait. Thank you so much!!!

My wife and I got married a little over a month ago, and our wedding at the Manor was extraordinary! All of our guests can't stop telling us about what a great time they had, how nice the venue was, how delicious the food was, the bar, and the excellent service they had. It made me so happy to hear that! The staff and maitre'd were so friendly, helpful, and attentive towards the needs of my wife and I. They really made us feel like a king and queen. Jennifer who was our onsite coordinator was extremely helpful in the process and very organized. She even remembered my wife's favorite dessert and had the staff bring it to her as a little surprise. The level of service we got from everyone at the Manor was second to none. If you are looking for a venue for a social function or just to have dinner in their amazing restaurant I highly recommend it! The food and the service is excellent!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with The Manor! It's a beautiful location and very convenient with the hotel next door. We worked with Rolf who made everything so easy and was very willing to work with us.

First, I'll mention that we had a 70-person wedding for which there are few wedding venues that cater to smaller parties. The Manor, in addition to its larger ballrooms, has the Garden Room for 80 people or less. It was recently renovated and exactly what we were looking for. The food was amazing, the cake was beautiful and tasty, the staff were so kind and diligent to be sure that everything was how we wanted. Rolf also was great at working with us on the menu given we are vegetarians and wanted the menu to be about 60% vegetarian.

And of course the gardens there are amazing and wonderful for photo opportunities!

The Manor completely exceeded our expectations! I don't understand any bad reviews, but the service was top notch. They went along with anything we wanted. We were able to bring our own alcohol in (I only drink one type of beer), and our own groom's cake, no problem. Everyone was exceptionally nice throughout the planning. The day of couldn't have gone any better. When we got to the bridal suite there was champagne and bread, cheese, and meat platters. I forget their names (I'm so awful) but the bridal room attendant and maitre d' were NEXT LEVEL. They couldn't have done more for us. We constantly had drinks in our hands, and they made sure we ate. Cocktail hour was phenomenal. The amount of food they have is unreal. Everything was gorgeous and went so smoothly. Also, I can't forget about the bar/club right upstairs! Half of my wedding guests went right upstairs to keep the party going. They have a DJ up there, and the room is gorgeous! I received a million compliments on how beautiful it was and how great the food was. I will definitely recommend The Manor to everyone I know!

We loved The Manor for our wedding day! The grounds are so beautiful and there are many places to take pictures. The food was absolutely amazing and top notch. They include a beautiful wedding cake in the reception package as well. Unlike other wedding venues, The Manor has two restaurants onsite, so every year we can go back and celebrate at the venue we started our lives together.

I've been to two weddings here, and fell in love with their service, food, and the grounds are just lovely! My then fiance and I decided to have our wedding here and we are so glad that we did! The prices are amazing for everything that they include! So much food! And delicious!! Our guests did not stop raving about the quantity and quality of the food! The grounds are so beautiful too! We had our ceremony and reception at The Manor at the end of October and it was the most stunning evening. The outdoor ceremony was the most glorious moment of my life (we were extremely lucky with the weather!) and the cocktail hour and reception were wonderful. The rooms we immaculate, the food and drinks outstanding, and the staff perfect. Willimae (Willie) was my bridal attendant and fulfilled and anticipated every need. She was at my side any time I needed her and when I didn't she was the wind, completely out of the way. She was lovely to spend the evening with. Highly recommend this location!

We had our wedding at the Manor on August 15th, 2015 and our guests are still raving about the experience. 5+ stars from top to bottom. This is THE quintessential place to have a classy, modern but not over-the-top wedding and reception.

About a year before, we met with Rolf who from the start was phenomenal in every aspect. From swiftly-returned phone calls to extensive conversations (we talked quite a bit as we planned this from out of town) he was absolutely a pleasure to work with! We unfortunately had a very difficult vendor the day of (not affiliated with The Manor whatsoever) and he played a big role in facilitating a smooth day.

The staff was incredible, and our Maître D' George was key in making sure the band, the video production people and the kitchen were in-tune. The whole wedding was coordinated like a well-produced show. Because of The Manor's experience and professionalism all we had to do was show up! BTW, we had our reception in the Virginia Room, which we loved.

The food was also 5-star. Unbelievable cocktail hour, with nearly everything you could imagine. The passed hor de voures were raved about, and the stations, carving displays, cold-tables, seafood bar were all fresh and delicious. Dinner was served hot and beautifully presented; not 1 complaint-- in fact, the food is something everyone seems to still rave about when bringing up our wedding.

The grounds, the food, the staff- it's all enough for us to give The Manor a 5-star review all the way. Since they are also a restaurant, we will be back to celebrate future occasions and visit the site of the happiest day of our lives' so far!

The Manor has been a family favorite for its buffet for many years. I have always loved the way the venue looked...classic, timeless, vintage. As soon as we pulled up with my parents Kevin said, "This is a place where a princess would get married, and we should definitely have our wedding here." From the moment we met Jim, I knew we would have our reception here. They were so accommodating and the food was spectacular. We had an amazing cocktail hour, reception dinner, and Viennese hour. Everything we ate we loved! The grounds were outstanding and well-kept for picture taking. I don't have one bad thing to say about The Manor. I can't wait to spend our first anniversary here for dinner. Thank you for the unbelievable service, spectacular food, fully stocked open bar (with the exception of Fireball!) and beautiful cocktail hour in the Wine Cellar for our bridal party. We couldn't be happier on our wedding night. Everybody at The Manor is so kind and helpful. The food was unbelievable. Our guests kept coming to us raving about the quality of the food! They were very responsive from the moment we came to see the venue for the first time to the moment we left. Extremely flexible accommodating every single one of our requests. The staff was extremely helpful and well organized. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about this venue....and we are known for being very picky :). We highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

I'll keep it short & sweet!

The Manor was absolutely terrific, our wedding was in the Virginia room, it was so elegant! I especially love the white chairs! The grounds were perfect! The weather was so nice, we got to have an outdoor bar, which I loved!

Our main reason for booking this venue was because of the food, my husband & I went to the Manor years ago while we were dating & the food was just so delicious! Most wedding venues have very generic food that's just okay, but not the Manor! Our guests raved about cocktail hour, some thought it was dinner, even my own Dad! Dinner was great, i tried the chicken & steak, YUM! Our cake was very good, not the typical overly sugary wedding cake. But the best part food wise was the additional package we got, the dessert bar! Oh my goodness, our guests loved it! I was in shock, I couldn't believe the amount of desserts!!

The staff was kind, attentive & accommodating. I have nothing but positive things to say! Thank you to all of the staff who made our big day extra special!!!

Excellent excellent excellent. Yes, The Manor does a lot of events and weddings, but it's because they are incredible-- they operate like a well-oiled machine. In planning, they were answering my questions before I even knew that I didn't know something... They are simply wonderful at pulling weddings off. Everything went off without a hitch. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was and how unbelievable the food. Rolph, our Maitre d' was the absolute best (a service included)-- he was so friendly, helpful and supportive. The Manor made our wedding day the absolute best day ever!!

The Manor did an exceptional job on our special day! Everything went exactly as planned and we had the best time. The food was absolutely delicious and our family and friends could not stop talking about it. The atmosphere was beautiful and the grounds were gorgeous as they gave us amazing backgrounds for many of our wedding pictures. The Manor is an amazing venue and with great prices. My husband and I worked with Rolf in the catering department and he always made us laugh and kept us satisfied. I loved having the imperial room with the waterfalls and everything as a background to our amazing night. I would recommend the manor for any event you are looking to host. The food is to die for and the service lives up to its amazing reputation.

We looked at several venues but nothing compared to The Manor in terms of packages, value, and beauty! We were married at the Manor on June 7th - we had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception there. The outdoor ceremony space is beyond gorgeous - there really is no comparison. Because it rained the entire week prior, Preston (our sales manager) also reserved a separate indoor room as plan b. Thankfully we didn't need it! All of their rooms are great but we went with the Virginia room which was perfect! The room opens up to a insulated huge patio (for lack of a better word) which is where the cocktail hour was held. All doors open up to the beautiful grounds, seconds from the ceremony location. So, for our guests, everything was located in one area - extremely convenient. And access to outside!
Planning with The Manor is very easy - this is their business and they easily lay everything out for you. We worked with Preston to set everything up and Marvin was day-of coordinator. He was awesome! Super friendly, extremely attentive... he made the entire day work perfectly. I was assigned a bridal assistant as well who was AMAZING! She set up our bridal suite with champagne and food, made sure we all had water as we took pictures outside, helped me with everything - including a complicated bustle. What a gem!
We continue to get compliments on the location - how beautiful the grounds were, to the amazing food -- our guests continue to rave about the cocktail hour, in which many filled up on delicious oysters, shrimp, carving tables, and much, much more. You cannot beat the cocktail hour at The Manor. Dinner was equally as good - the duck was divine. I can't wait to return to
The Manor for dinner or their seafood buffet - the food is truly delicious.
As for brides worrying about other weddings going on... we had one wedding before ours (I never saw them) and one after (only saw the bride once while taking pictures). Do not let that bother you!

My husband and I just had our wedding reception at the Manor back in April, and all I can say is that they did an amazing job. I would 100% have it here again if I had to choose again.
Preston was my wedding planner. He was quick to respond and very nice to work with. He made sure everything ran exactly how it was planned. The place looked great. The food was very tasty, and my guests were all very happy.
The cocktail hour was spectacular, everybody kept talking about it.
The staff was very friendly and my cake was delicious and beautiful. Thank you The Manor for providing a stress free, beautiful, perfect wedding reception! And thank you so much Preston for everything!

OMG I have too many great things to say about this place! My wedding went so flawlessly, and everyone was raving about the food and service provided by the Manor. Our cake was AMAZING!!! We chose red velvet with cannoli cream filling and buttercream icing, everyone loved it!!! George (my maitre'd) was excellent, and so was my bridal attendant (never got her name)! You would never think that there were other events going on at the same time with this venue! We worked with Rolf for wedding planning, and he was very attentive and responsive to all the emails and requests I wrote/asked. I wish I could relive the day over and over again! Thank you so much to everyone at The Manor for making our wedding unforgettable!

Our wedding at The Manor was absolutely perfect. Before committing, you might get a blase attitude on the tour, because they get so many weddings they don't really care if you don't go with them, but after you sign the contract, they are phenomenal. Preston was our go-to and he made it possible for us to plan the wedding from out-of-state by accommodating deadlines to when we would be back in town, answering questions by phone and email promptly, allowing us to send table charts electronically, and making sure that everything from cake to menu to indoor/outdoor set up was exactly to our liking. They also provided us with place cards, direction cards, and table numbers, which saved us a good deal of stress! If you can snag a day (like Sunday or off-season) where you're the only wedding, or 1 of 2, instead of 1 of 3, it's probably better.

We got about halfway through our ceremony outdoors - absolutely beautiful grounds! - before the thunderstorms hit, but it was a seamless transition to the indoor space that the Manor had already prepared. Marvin, our maitre'd and Willene, my attendant, were wonderful throughout, making sure we were eating, running my veil down to the bridal suite, directing the wedding party, and more.

Food was amazing. I wish I had been able to eat more of it, but as everyone says, you don't get to enjoy it as much as everyone else. Everybody RAVED about the food - cocktail hour oysters and all the stations we wanted just right, including substituting potstickers and shumai (Chinese bride!) . The cake came with the venue, can you believe it? And they let my maid of honor bake gluten-free cupcakes. They gave us sparkling cider instead of champagne by request and everything was handled beautifully. Unbelievable venue, can't recommend highly enough!

The Manor was the perfect place for our outdoor wedding ceremony. The garden was absolutely beautiful, we did not need to buy any flowers or decorations for the space! After our ceremony we took pictures outside, while our guests went to cocktail hour in the Imperial Room (Where we had our reception). The service was excellent throughout the entire evening. Our banquet manager, Roman, was constantly making sure everything was perfect. We loved working with him!

From the first moment you step onto the property, you are transported. From the gardens to the dining area, this venue is the epitome of class and elegance. The outdoor ceremony area was beautiful and perfect for our big day. I assume that not many people have been there which is why there aren't reviews on it, which makes it a hidden gem. From the second I saw it, I knew it was the perfect place to have our wedding. The service was great, from the banquet managers to the bartender ( who I think has the capability to read minds as he always had a drink to give me, even before I could turn to walk to the bar). Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic venue.

The Manor was great to work with from beginning to end. They were easy going and accommodating throughout the entire process. The Manor helped us to ensure our big day was perfect! We couldn't have picked any other venue that's more perfect. Everyone had a fantastic time. The Manor in West Orange could not have been a better venue for our wedding! From start to finish, they were friendly, accommodating, organized and incredibly classy. The day of, everything ran smoothly, our Matre D' was phenomenal, the food amazing (we received SO MANY compliments) and the Imperial Room where our reception was was simply stunning and beautiful. As soon as my husband and I walked into it a year ago, we knew that was where we wanted to be. The day of the wedding it POURED rain from 3-5:00pm. They were so accommodating, when we decided last minute we still wanted to get married outside, they sent a team of people outside to dry off the chairs and get rid of the water on the aisle. Miraculously, the sky cleared, the ground dried and we had a beautiful ceremony outside. Jimmy, Preston, Raul and Katie answered any of our many many questions and phone calls with such kindness and professionalism. Any request was met with a "Yes, of course!"

The grounds and property of the manor are simply stunning, our photographs are amazing! They have been doing renovations that make the property even more beautiful (you gotta see the bathrooms!). They even invite you back for dinner on your first anniversary :) How amazing is that?!

Do not hesitate to visit and book this wonderful venue, they know how to make your special day relaxed, unique and wonderful, we do not have nothing but positive things to say about the Manor and their entire staff!!!

Seriously, what can I say? This is historically one of the greatest party venues in New Jersey. It continues to be one of the greatest venues by constant updates and upgrades.

I don't think that anyone, anywhere in the state of New Jersey should choose their wedding venue without having visited The Manor in West Orange.

The day of George was our maitre d' and he helped us so much and kept everything in line. The ceremony was beautiful on the grounds, and I couldn't be happier. Cocktail hour was awesome, and guests loved that they could go outside and eat and that there was a bar setup outside (we had the Virginia Room and I wouldn't change that for anything!) The room was beautiful and set up as we requested, and the service was outstanding. Guests are still complimenting on the food, which unfortunately as the bride running around I couldn't enjoy fully, but I'm glad to hear that everyone loved it! We looked at several reception venues but we easily decided on The Manor as soon as we pulled into the parking lot. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and really well maintained. We are so happy we did! I could not imagine having our wedding any place else - the food was AWESOME and we are still getting compliments weeks later. Everything was presented so nicely and in a timely fashion (they have catering down to a science!). We were in the Imperial Room and it was gorgeous at night (with the fountains in the background). Service was fantastic - all the feedback we've received is that the staff was so nice and efficient (there was never a line at the bar). We worked with Roman from the beginning (he was also our maitre d) and he was fantastic! He was very responsive and he made sure we had everything we could possibly need all night long. He was also very kind to my parents, which I very much appreciated. They make the wedding planning process SO easy and if food and service are important to you (as it was to us) then definitely add The Manor to your list of venues to check out!

[Note: There can be a couple of weddings happening at the same time (which really concerned me) but on the day of the wedding, I didn't even realize there was any other event going on than our own!! The food quality was still awesome and we didn't have any trouble at all taking pictures before the reception started. I would not get hung up on the fact that you may not be the only wedding. If it really concerns you, consider the Imperial Room and you won't have to think twice about it!]

We looked at a bunch of wedding venues in northern NJ and decided on The Manor pretty much as soon as we walked in. The place is ridiculously beautiful and Rolf Shick, the catering manager made our choice an easy one. With his welcoming demeanor and easy going personality, he truly was a joy to work with and we trusted him completely! The ease of planning was awesome and the day of the wedding was flawless! George, our maitre'd was awesome and so helpful. The food (which you get a ton of included in the pkg) was wonderful, the venue was perfect, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful the grounds are and how delicious all of the food was. The Manor knows how to put on an elegant affair and I would recommend anyone looking for perfection get married there!

Loved everything about the Manor for our reception. The staff was so easy to work with and flexible with requests. Everything ran so smoothly and we could tell that our guests were having a great time.

I would like to thank Roman, Washington, and his team for their great service and making my daughters sweet 16 a night she will never forget. Both of the rooms were decorated beautiful and the food was delicious. Everyone who attended had something they would enjoy and only had positive feedback. The least expensive option when we were looking for a reception location with the most options and the best landscape, food, and service. My sister and I both had our reception there. Food and service were excellent. Bridal suite was lovely and the staff there were very helpful. Our contact was Roman and he was very professional and responsive to our needs.

What an amazing venue! Upon pulling up 2 years before our wedding we knew this was the spot. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept all year round, and the food is AMAZING!!!! People will not stop telling us that they were blown away by the quality of the food, especially since there was so much variety. Honestly, my family is used to large cocktail hours and Viennese tables and even they were amazed at all the food. We booked two years in advance and that saved us a lot of $$$. Jim was wonderful to work with with booking and planning the event. Our Maitre D was wonderful. The staff is so kind, attentive, and is always checking on you to make sure you have everything you need and want. I wanted wine at the tables (big for my culture) and they were missing in the beginning but with one word, each table had a red and white bottle! We took a walk together during the reception and even at night the grounds were stunning. Heads up! We made sure we had time to eat, and made a point of it, and still missed so much of the food, but everything we ate was delicious! Bridal suite is a little small, but my girls and I did hair and makeup and they put their dresses on up at our room at the Residence Inn and I put my dress on in the suite (so our guests at the hotel wouldn't see me).

The Manor was absolutely FANTASTIC! Rolf (direct of private dining), George (head maitre d'), and all the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing! Our wedding was absolutely PERFECT, and better than we could have ever imagined. Our guests cannot stop raving about the food and great service. The Manor is an elegant venue and I cannot say enough about it. We are thrilled! I would recommend The Manor to anyone and everyone for a spectacular, beautiful wedding with fabulous food, and friendly, attentive staff. A big thank you to everyone at The Manor!!!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! There are not enough words to describe how incredible it was to deal with The Manor and have both my ceremony and reception there. I had my ceremony out in the gardens and the reception in The Imperial Room. The whole day was a dream come true! From start to finish, The Manor took care of every detail leaving nothing for us to worry about. Our Matre d was Roman and he truly went above and beyond for us. He made us feel like VIP's and was there for us every step of our planning process. He was very easy to get in touch with for questions and was great when we were coming down to the wire and keeping our stress level down (he literally took care of everything!)! The food was absolutely delicious and never seemed to end (Our guests are still talking about it!)! The grounds and the building are beautifully kept and clean and your guests will just be in awe from the moment they get out of their cars! If you are looking for a unique venue for your wedding you must check out The Manor. You will not be disappointed!!!!

When my husband and I went to visit The Manor, we knew this was the perfect place to have our wedding reception. We fell in love with the beautiful grounds. We worked with Preston on all of the planning. He was very helpful, very accommodating, and very nice. The food at our reception was excellent, and so was the service. The Manor baked our cake and it was beautiful and delicious.
After our reception was over we went upstairs to The Dome to finish off the night. Another great thing about having our wedding at The Manor was The Marriott Residence is on the same property. At the end of the night our guest were able to walk over there. The next morning they have a great buffet breakfast. I highly recommend The Manor. I had such a great time, I wish I could have my wedding all over again.

From the first appointment to the last, we had all confidence that our wedding day would be unforgettable. The grounds were spectacular! Very well maintained. The food and presentation were excellent. The service was impeccable! We had the pleasure of planning our wedding day with Rolf, Ivan, George and Patrick. Their professionalism, expertise in the field, easy going personalities and flexibility allowed us to execute our very personalized vintage travel theme wedding. The day before the wedding we had Patrick run through the ceremony and went over where everyone was supposed to stand and how everyone is to process and recess and it was very helpful. Also, the day of the wedding we had our wonderful bridal suite attendant who provided the wedding party with some champagne and hors d'oeuvres. The lobster was an excellent treat! Isabella also was very helpful with bustling my dress and even sewing the bottom of my dress that was torn. The managers and staff of the Manor certainly go above and beyond, which is why our wedding was a hit!

The Manor is unlike anywhere else I have ever been for a wedding. Their highest priority is ensuring the bride and groom are happy and taken care of in all aspects. They have something no one else seems to have anymore and that is experience. We dealt with Roman in the majority of our planning and requests and he was very helpful, but don't be afraid to ask questions! Roman has been working for the Manor for over 20 years and it didn't end there, our beautiful wedding cake was baked on premise for no extra charge by the pastry chef who has been working there for over 30 years! When I got down to my bridal suite I was helped by the sweetest assistant who has ben employed with the Manor for over 35 years. She could probably bustle a dress better than any seamstress! The day of our wedding, Ivan assisted us in making sure we had everything we asked for. He was incredibly attentive and although we through them behind schedule with all of the surprise musical guests my husband had planned, they remained calm and get the reception moving in a stress free pace. Thank you for making our day so memorable. The food was spectacular, the bar service, atmosphere, gardens, fountains, service, everything was better than I could ever have imagined. I wish I could attend my wedding as a guest just so I can try all of the amazing cocktail hour foods and enjoy the party all over again.

SEAMLESS. The Manor made our wedding day unforgettable. They are really good at what they do and it is evident in all the little details they take care of. Our Maitre'D George was wonderful and Roman and Rolf were great to work with also. They made sure our wedding day was as stress-free as it could possibly be! They recently finished re-doing the imperial room (where are wedding reception was done) and it looked wonderful. The gardens outside (where we had out ceremony) were stunning and also one of the reasons we chose to have our wedding there. The cocktail hour and dinner were delish!

My husband and I found The Manor (last on our list to see) and we didn't need to look any further! The atmosphere is absolutely stunning, and fit our vintage theme perfectly! Since they have been around for so many years, they have weddings down to a science. Everyone we worked with was fabulous- our banquet manager Jim, our maitre'd George and the bridal attendant Isabelle! We were able to stay at the hotel next door (so convenient!), which was also so beautiful and wonderful! The food was delicious, everyone raved about it, and we had the Viennese hour for dessert which surprised all of our guests! Our wedding was absolutely perfect, everything went exactly as planned! The Manor was absolutely amazing, highly recommend this venue to any bride looking for old world charm, and professionalism at the highest level!

The Manor is not only a beautiful backdrop for a wedding but they offer so much more than a pretty garden. First, they are incredibly attentive to all your needs on the day of your wedding. Patrick was with me for anything I needed and he even ran back down to the bridal suite before the ceremony because I forgot my vows! The food is unbelievable and never ending, your guests will be floored at the quality and amount they will consume :). You should definitely try to eat, I missed out on the entire dessert table and I still regret it to this day! Another really unique aspect about The Manor that was really impressive to me is that they use all local produce from a garden at their sister property down the street. They also compost all the leftover food too so nothing is wasted! Also if you're going to spend the same amount of money, you might as well choose a place with character instead of a hotel banquet hall. Make it memorable! The Manor will not disappoint!

Amazing food and drinks. Beautiful venue. They made my wedding day a perfect one. Highly recommend The Manor. Our reception was in the Imperial Room. We had access to the gardens and water fountain outside. There was also a few chairs out there. It was great!

I can't express in words what an amazing venue The Manor is. We picked The Manor after our first venue was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy (they actually had our date open by chance) but I think things happen for a reason because the pure beauty of the place and the amazing people that work there made our wedding the best!!! I didn't have to worry about a thing the whole entire time we worked with them. They are true professionals. Patrick is an amazing coordinator and Preston was fantastic working with as well! There was other wedding receptions going on at the same time and I never even noticed! They really know what they are doing. They make you feel like you are the most important! Thank you to the Manor and everyone we worked with for making our wedding the best day of our lives!!!

Where do I start with The Manor? 5 stars isn't enough! From the second we stepped foot into the venue to see it, until we said goodbye after our wedding, this place was phenomenal! Every time I visited I fell more and more in love with it. We had our wedding in the Imperial Room, and it was absolutely gorgeous. From the atrium, to the sconces and chandeliers, to the food and staff..everything couldn't have been better. The food was delicious and guests have not stopped raving about the veinese table at the end. I want someone I know to get married there just so I can relive my wedding! They went above and beyond making everything excellent for me and my husband.

We were married at The Manor in West Orange on 6/22/2013. We are still floating from our experience. The Manor is incredibly beautiful and well kept. What made the experience so priceless was our banquet manager Roman. From our first conversation with Roman we were happy and at ease. He worked with us every step of the way and was by our side all night. The entire wedding was seamless. By the end of the wedding we loved him more. He and his staff made our day the "Best Day of Our Lives".
My guests cannot stop raving about the beauty of the gardens where we had our ceremony through to the reception room. They are calling it a palace. I booked the Virginia room with the glass cocktail room attached and gardens which made the entire night so intimate and special.
The food was so much and so delicious. There was not one bit of food that was not perfect and delicious from the cocktail hour through to the vienesse hour. I cannot believe what we receievd for the price. My wedding was so amazing, we wish we could do it again this weekend. We are thrilled with our decision to marry at The Manor and would not change a thing.

This was a perfect venue for our ceremony and reception! We worked with Preston who made this the most seamless process for my husband and myself. The day of the wedding ran so smooth and we were able to enjoy ourselves with out worry. Our maître d', George was fantastic. He took very good care of us through out the wedding. It was great to work with people who were very nice and accommodating to our needs.

Our friends and family keep commenting on how great the food was. They keep telling my husband and myself how much they enjoyed it! The cake that was provided for by the Manor was fantastic! My 2 favorite things were in one cake. I couldn't ask for anything better then that!

I highly recommend anyone who is thinking about there venue being here. You will not regret it!

Everyone involved was extremely accommodating, helpful, and friendly. My wedding could not have been smoother. The food and service was excellent. All of my guest were very impressed with the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the servers. The Manor is a beautiful place for a wedding!

My husband and I went to the Manor because we heard a lot of positive things about it and after reading the online reviews we were even more entice to go. When we saw the venue, we fell in love with it. It's beautiful and classic, not like a lot of tacky places that it's only a hall next to the highway. There are beautiful gardens and the indoor decor is also breathtaking.

The staff was 100% friendly, reliable and helpful. We actually booked the smallest room because we only had 100 guest, however, they treated us as if we were booking the entire place.

The day of my wedding was so relax because the Matron D' took care of everything and made sure that nothing would stressed me out. The Manor also provided my wedding cake, which with the help of my florist ended up looking like a work of art. Not only did it look like a work of art, but it also tasted absolutely delicious.

To any bride who's looking for a venue, I would highly recommend this place. It's fancy, elegant, reliable, excellent service but overally the food is delicious.

I was very impressed with the service and positive interactions that I had experienced with The Manor. Since I was getting married during their peak season, I thought that communicating with the facility would be difficult since they would be busy, however, they were able to respond quickly. Prices were reasonable while comparing their menu to other venues. My husband and I were taken care of the day of our wedding and everything ran extremely smoothly and as planned. The grounds were also beautiful for our pictures as we didn't need to go to another destination for pictures after our church ceremony. The cake we choice was part of our menu and was absolutely delicious! Everyone is still bragging about the venue to this day! I would definitely recommend this venue and would consider using it for future events!

I couldnt have asked for a more beautiful wedding venue! My Wedding theme was "vintage Hollywood Glam" and is place was exactly that & more!!! They have the most beautiful grounds (where our ceremony was held), the interior is amazing, wonderful staff, amazing food...and they were able to accomodate everything that I asked for. If you are looking for a wedding venue in NJ (about 30 mins from NYC) then this IS the place!!!

The Manor is an elegant wedding venue. The banquet managers were flexible and easy to get in touch with. The night of our wedding George was our maitre d and he was phenomenal. The bridal suites are located downstairs and Isabel is AMAZING. She made sure that my husband and I got food and drinks during cocktail hour as well as caring for any special needs we had. When the bustle of my dress broke, Isabel was right there with my sister to fix it! I highly recommend the manor, a great value! Food was outstanding across the board

We were married on August 25th, 2012 and had our reception in the Virginian Room. My parents chose the Manor based on thier experiences there. We are from the area and they have an excellent reputation. Well, there is a reason why. They did an AMAZING job. We worked with Rolf and Patrick. They and thier entire staff are excellent-from the wait staff, the bartender etc. They could not do enough for us! The food at the cocktail hour and the reception were amazing. Countless people told me they had never had food like this at a wedding. All our guests were from NJ, NYC and the area so they have all been to many high end weddings. Just to give one example: The florist never brought the tea lights that were to surround the table arrangements. My Mom was so annoyed and asked them to call her. They did and she said she couldn't come back. Patrick and hsi staff tracked down tea lights for all my tables! It was truly above and beyond. There was another wedding going on. I never saw her once. I may have passed her guests but who cares! The room is gorgeous- it was nice weather so the french doors to the back patio were open. People loved the option of stepping outside. Don't hesistate if you are considering the Manor- it was fabulous!!!

The Manor was incredible, from Preston who made all our arrangements to the staff the day of the wedding they made my husband and I feel like royalty and our guests the same. They were friendly the food was incredible, they remembered all of my special requests. And boxed everything for me that night which was a godsend! Where we had our ceremony was just gorgeous the flowers were in full bloom and our guests still say it was their favorite ourdoor ceremony! They are extremely flexible with your needs and financially don't get scared off by the grounds and presence their price point is worth looking at and will probably surprise you in a good way! Thank you Manor staff for allowing us to having the wedding of our dreams!!!

We just had our wedding at the Manor. Everything was great from the venue to the food and service. We had our ceremony at the beautiful gardens outside and our cocktail hour and reception at the "imperial room". We were working with Roman who was very professional and helped us with wedding planning process as well as realizing all our wedding dreams. We had beautiful cake done by the Manor pastry chef based on sketch we gave them, the signature drinks and Champaign were great, the food and dessert tasted amazing. Everything was well organized. Our guests were very impressed by the gardens, fountains, our room, the delicious food and drinks and great service. Thank you!
