    Perfection!

    We just had our son's rehearsal dinner and Welcome Reception at the Mane on Main and I could not be happier with the outcome. Natalie was a dream to work with which was a necessity given that we are out of state. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and the venue was breathtaking. If I could give 10 stars to every aspect of the evening, I certainly would. Thank you to Natalie and staff for an incredible evening.

    Great Reception venue in downtown Lexington!

    We hosted our wedding reception at the Mane on Main and I can't say enough good things about the venue. Natalie, the venue manager, went out of her way on more than one occasion to make sure the evening was EXACTLY as we had envisioned. Big thanks to her and the owner, Tom, for all they did to make the reception special and memorable! From the tasting to the planning, everything was perfect. The food for the reception was even better than we experienced at the tasting! The bartenders and servers did an excellent job and made sure they greeted our guests with the signature cocktails and passed hors d'oeuvres as soon as they got off the elevator - classy! Our guests are still raving about it weeks later! The view from the venue is second to none in downtown Lexington! Don't hesitate - book this venue for your next event!

    Highly Recommend

    Heather and her team at The Mane on Main were absolutely amazing!!! They were super helpful, very professional, went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly what we envisioned. The servers were great too and truly made cocktail hour amazing with their service. Would highly recommend this BEAUTIFUL venue, our pictures from the reception were incredible with the gorgeous sunset in the background from the windows.

    Lazy & Uncooperative Venue Coordinator

    I would love to give this venue a glowing review, but unfortunately, due to the inflexibility and unprofessionalism we encountered from the venue coordinator, Natalie Stice, we are having to take our business elsewhere. Initially, when we first met to see the space and discuss our needs, Natalie assured us that customizing the catering menu (since no outside caterers are permitted, only Dupree Catering) wouldn’t be a problem, and mentioned that people frequently requested a specific recipe be used or asked the chef to copy a certain dish from a local restaurant. We wanted a simple pasta meal and went over in detail how we wanted the food to taste. Natalie told us she’d send us a pricing proposal and we didn’t hear from her again until nearly a week later, after I had already emailed her to ask when we could expect to receive it. In my previous email conversations with her, she would take multiple business days to write a brief reply, even though I expressed to her the urgency of securing a venue, so I was disappointed but not surprised that we hadn’t gotten a proposal back yet. She called and gave a number of excuses as to why they ‘wouldn’t be a good fit for us’ because the chef couldn’t be ‘creative’ with what we wanted. She also said the chef ‘didn’t feel comfortable’ copying another chef—even though she’d confidently told me before that they regularly do that. If you don’t allow outside caterers, at least be willing to make what we want to eat! She also seemed to have an issue with the fact that we would have under 100 people in attendance, which she didn’t seem to have had a problem with before. We’re in the middle of a pandemic so yes, it needs to be a small crowd. She even made the excuse that the price margins wouldn’t be very good on a simple pasta dinner for a small crowd—I explained to her that we would be happy to pay whatever rate they charged, and wanted to do whatever we needed to do to make this work. However, I definitely got the impression that Natalie simply didn’t want to put in the small amount of extra effort a custom catering menu would be.
