Milton, Julia and the whole crew are authentic, talented and joyful. They are musicians' musicians and genuinely nice people. They played all the songs we wanted (a few of them probably against their better judgement), and they went the extra mile (actually several hundred extra miles) to make our wedding unforgettable. I can't recommend them enough. -

Truly can't express how incredible The Loyales were as our wedding band! My husband and I are very big music fans and our #1 priority was having a band that didn't play the same 10 overplayed songs and that felt like an ACTUAL band. The Loyales were absolutely spectacular. Not only did they travel down to MD from NY for our wedding day, but they learned several of our song requests (in addition to learning our first dance and parent dance songs) and completely brought the energy and skill that we had hoped for. We also got to take advantage of their versatility as musicians -- they played classical music during our ceremony and acoustic bluegrass/county/rock during our cocktail hour. We love all types of music, and The Loyales' repertoire covered it all - blues, rock, dance, bluegrass/country, you name it! The amount of guests who sung their praises not only the night of the wedding but for months afterwards just speaks to the impact they made! We can't thank Milton & Co enough for making our wedding everything and more that we could have hoped for! -

The Loyales played at our wedding on 9/7, and they were absolutely incredible! Milton and the band were so lovely to work with—providing helpful guidance when we needed direction and bringing amazing energy to the day. Even months later, guests are still raving about how fantastic the band was. We’re so grateful for the unforgettable memories they helped create! -

The Loyales were genuinely amazing. We spent a lot of time looking at bands and DJs and could not have been happier with our choice. Guests of all ages were dancing all night (even some who told us they don't usually like to dance) and could not stop talking about how good the band was. To this day the band is still the first thing people bring up when talking about our wedding. Some guests actually thought we booked three different bands because the Loyales were so versatile in playing different arrangements and instruments throughout the day (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception). The Loyales really brought everything that is so special about live music to our wedding and we are beyond grateful! Milton was also a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, put effort into understanding our music taste, and brought great ideas to play off what he knew we liked throughout the day. Couldn't recommend more highly! -

We are so happy that we had The Loyales for our wedding day! Not only were Milton and Aaron from Lucy Music a delight to work with (through coordinating, walkthroughs, and making a song list), but also the musicality and energy of this group is so high. I can’t imagine many bands that could do what we asked the musicians from The Loyales to do – we had piano only for our ceremony at a separate venue, and then folk strings for our cocktail hour, jazz for our sit-down dinner, and a full band for a couple hours of dancing.
The Loyales played a great hora, hit most of our requested songs, and got everyone dancing. We wished the dancing could’ve kept going all night long!

The Loyales were absolutely fantastic. My husband and I are big music fans and wanted to make sure that we had our guests up and dancing the entire evening and the Loyales delivered. They have an expansive song list, and even went out of their way to learn a few of our favorite songs which made the night absolutely magical. Milton has a fantastic voice and does a MEAN Bruce Springsteen (our favorite) and Julia is truly incredible - she has such vocal range and an awesome stage presence. Not only did they crush our wedding, but they were with us the night of our rehearsal dinner, playing piano and light music during the welcome cocktail reception and absolutely nailed it. They also played our ceremony music and really did such a fantastic job. I have tears in my eyes just thinking of how incredible the strings sounded at our outdoor, barn wedding. They were absolute pros with the mic and I didn't worry once about people not being able to hear, or poor sound quality. They nailed it all. We've had guests telling us since the wedding how awesome our band was - and I couldn't agree more. OH! And on top of all that, they're truly kind people and a joy to work with. I couldn't recommend them enough. 15/10!!! -

My husband and I were specifically looking for a band that specialized in Classic Rock and after we found The Loyales, we looked no further. Their song list also includes Motown, Country, 80's/90's, etc. They had our guests dancing and singing for hours. We didn't want the night to end!
We enjoyed working and collaborating with Milton from start to finish. Not only did he listen to what we wanted, but he also provided his expertise when we weren't sure about the direction we wanted to go in. All in all, it was a great and unforgettable experience. AND to top it off, Julia's voice is out of this world!
We couldn't be happier with choosing The Loyales for both our Ceremony and Reception. They made our wedding day that much better and more memorable. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to book an amazing band for their wedding. -

Outstanding professionals, people, musicians
I can't emphasize enough how grateful I am to The Loyales, and how impressed I was (along with all of our guests) with their amazing performance at our wedding.
It goes without saying, your entertainment can make or break a wedding. I've seen enough weddings where everything was perfect, but a mediocre DJ or band has most people in their seats all evening. It still puts a smile on my face thinking about our wedding and just how perfectly The Loyales turned the night into a real party - real fun, all while being just delightful and easy people to work with.
Milton from The Loyales and Aaron from Lucy Music were a joy to work with leading up to our date, keeping as much of the stress as possible away from us related to logistics and set-up. They're genuine, nice, easy-going, responsible, and incredibly accommodating people.
If you enjoy the type of music that's in their wheelhouse (which - honestly - covers so many genres and styles - you'd be hard pressed not to find several night's worth of songs they regularly play that you and your guests will love), I'm convinced you could not find a better quality band, as dependable, and as great a value as The Loyales.
Milton and the The Loyales also blew everyone away with the songs we requested for our first dance and parent dances, as well as serving as a string quartet during our ceremony.
My only regret was not hiring a videographer to re-live the Loyales playing that night again and again.
To Milton, Aaron, and all of the members of the Loyales - we can't thank you enough for really helping to make our night remarkable. Rock on. -

We hired The Loyales for our August 2022 wedding. They provided the ceremony, cocktail, and reception music. We were so genuinely impressed with the Loyales and have received so many compliments from guests about the music. We cannot say enough good things. They accommodated an impromptu hoorah during our reception, learned our first dance song flawlessly, and accommodated our somewhat last minute request for a mini ABBA set! Everyone was on the dance floor all night. The presence of the band was exactly what we were hoping for - their announcements were seamless and not over-the-top. Communication was also easy; we had a myriad of questions and Milton/Aaron made it all straightforward in the end! Highly recommend the Loyales!! Thank you! -

Milton and The Loyales were the perfect band for our wedding in October 2021! We didn't want a DJ or "loud party music" - we wanted a fun (but tame) band that would give our friends and family a great time. We found them through Lucy Music, the collection of bands that they're a part of, which was one of the groups recommended by our venue Brooklyn Winery for music. We reached out to them and sampled the music from several of their bands. The Loyales jumped out right away as the vibe we were going for. Aaron from Lucy Music & Milton from The Loyales were easy to work with throughout the planning process, from song selections to logistics. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great band for their wedding! -

The Loyales “made” our reception. Here was the thank you I sent to them after our big day..
I really do want to thank you all for creating an incredible atmosphere and the ability to bring real, authentic music to our wedding reception. Having a cheesy wedding band was not an option for us. The fact that we found real musicians to play at our wedding was incredibly lucky and we are so thankful you were available. Everyone loved you guys and our guests are still raving about it. You exceeded our expectations and we would love to come and see The Loyales play in the near future. We also had so many compliments on the special songs we asked you to learn and play for us. They were beautiful. I’ll never forget our three year old dancing and singing to “Rolling on a river” at the end of the night. That was quite a highlight. She still sings it to this day. You made our day and evening seemless and beautiful, and for that I can’t thank you enough. You all make it seem so easy :). Please stay in touch.

We spent a lot of time searching for a band for our wedding, trying to find the right combination of chops, energy and repertoire. When we landed on the Loyales' website we immediately felt the love & we knew they were it. And somehow they exceeded our expectations! Aaron, Milton and team are pros -- from the initial call to song selection to day of set up, every step was smooth as butter. So many times over the course of our wedding, we heard the same question from our guests: "Who is this awesome band?" They read the room, played perfect tunes, and got everyone dancing. And they were so nice! Love them so much, we want to go see their next show. -

Aaron and Milton made planning the music and flow of our wedding so easy. They really understood what we were looking for and we were so happy with every song they played at our wedding. We had numerous people come up to us after the event to tell us how much they loved them. They had people dancing all night and really read the room well! We were a little particular about our first dance and parent dance songs and they were very accommodating and played them beautifully! Book them!! -

We were so lucky to have had The Loyales play for our wedding. We cannot say enough about how professional and fun our experience was. The Loyales were a huge hit at our wedding- we wanted all classic rock and up-beat funk and they definitely delivered! Milton and his band mates went above and beyond to accommodate our wedding day and song requests. We highly recommend Lucy Music and their bands for your special day.
