Best band ever

I read a review when looking for the perfect band that said something like, "If you're looking for the perfect band, STOP right here and hire these guys." Wow, am I glad I paid attention to that one. Hiring this band was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! So, if you're reading this, I'll pass on the same advice we followed: STOP right now, and hire them!!

My now husband and I knew we wanted the music to be the center piece of our wedding. We wanted a band that could carry the arc of the whole day from the ceremony through the end of the reception, and we didn't want the wedding to sound like a wedding, but rather an incredible event with many movements and smooth transitions. We knew it was a tall order and interviewed 17 bands before we found Love Revival Orchestra. They carried our day, making it totally cohesive and fluid, and more.

The music they provided was incredible from beginning to end. We were in several indoor and outdoor locations throughout the day, and the sound was engineered as perfectly as the music was played in each. We had classical music, Dixieland Jazz, French Gypsy Jazz, and incredibly energetic and diverse dance music. We had two parades. The energy was everything. Guest after guest told us it was the best band they'd ever experienced. These are friends who have lived in Manhattan and travel the world. My favorite moments were being lead into our reception by an incredible parade and then being surrounded by the horns and drums as we were paraded out of our reception to our exit. This was the most incredible day of our lives, and we attribute the greatness of it so much to the band.

David, the band leader, we extremely responsive and communicative from the start. I was looking for a collaborator for the event, not a hired band, and he was into it. He went above and beyond. That was a rare gift. We had several conversations and many emails, per my request, and I felt like I had a partner in shaping the sound of our wedding. I came with ideas. He a added inspiration and experience, and elevated everything into perfection.

The band looks great, they sound amazing, and they are as professional as they are talented. I would hire the again and again and recommend them to everyone!

You will love the love revival orchestra

If you need an A+ fantastic band for your special event I suggest you hire this band immediately and look no further. I hired them for my daughter's wedding and EVERYONE at the event said they have never heard a better band at a wedding. I previously heard them play other venues, so I knew how good they are. Additionally, this band is very professional, personable and incredibly easy to work with. I highly recommend them; you will be blown away!

The Love Revival Orchestra is the best!

We are so happy to have hired David and the Love Revival Orchestra for our wedding. David was super thorough in planning the sets and schedule for the day, and the band was able to learn our special first dance song. They took all our notes on songs we loved and created an amazing energy all night - no one left the dance floor!!

Stop looking - You've found the best band out there!

We could write endlessly about how amazing The Love Revival Orchestra is and were SO lucky to have them perform at our wedding.

Bottom line: If music and dancing is what's most important to you on your wedding day like it was for us, this is the band for you.

The musicians are SO incredibly talented and have an awesome selection of songs for any vibe you're going for or group you have.

We have musicians in our family and have such a love for music that when we were looking for a band we knew we didn't want to be listening to the same songs you get at every wedding you attend.

The Love Revival Orchestra was the perfect choice with an arrangement of classic old school rock and roll to electric and pop music that sounded as if a DJ were playing each track while being lucky enough to experience the energy of a big band. Not only did the band sound great, but David and the crew were so flexible and easy to work with.

Even a few of our guests left our wedding asking if we could share the band's contact information for their own weddings! We only hope we're lucky enough to see The Love Revival Orchestra again soon!

I loved everything about my experience working with the Love Revival Orchestra. They were so lovely to communicate with leading up to the event, they had our guests on the dance floor, and they even helped me coordinate a surprise where I joined them onstage to surprise my now wife. The band played for our cocktail hour with a talented Jazz Trio, a parade to get our guests into the reception (so cool and lots of kudos from the guests!!), and an outstanding reception performance. There was not one moment that the dance floor was empty and they truly brought the best energy and talent. Music was one of our biggest priorities for the wedding day and our expectations were blown away. Awesome Band!

The originality of their style and the heart that went into playing every song cannot be expressed in words. Love Revival Orchestra was the highlight of our party! They worked with us in advance to understand the vibe we were looking for and they totally hit the mark! Music was phenomenal, Tom and all the members were fantastic, couldn't get people off the dance floor. We are still getting tremendous feedback. Phenomenal!!

AMAZING! Perfect Energy for Our Party

WOW! David and The Love Revival Orchestra exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding. After seeing the band at my best friend's wedding, I knew they were great and the first people I wanted to reach out to when we booked our date.

From start to finish, they were timely, organized, and incredibly thorough. They asked a ton of questions beforehand to make sure every detail was accounted for and that the day went smoothly. We cared a lot about the music and the vibe and they really made an effort to understand what we liked and didn't like. They have a huge set list and are also open to adding a few special requests to make the day really personal to us.

Completely Made the Evening

LRO is unparalleled!!!

This band will take your special celebration to the "Nth" level. Thanks to them, the only adjective that begins to describe the evening they provided is "magical". David is the ultimate MC, Dean directs a flawless musical production, and Ameerah's silky vocals and infectious smile compel everyone to the dance floor. We are already trying to think of another reason to have them again!

The BEST Wedding Band!

The Love Revival Orchestra truly made our wedding night special! Every member of the band was stellar- our guests had nothing but amazing things to say and were inquiring where they can see them perform next. They had a wide range of songs to choose from. We would highly recommend!

Perfect wedding band!

David and the band made the wedding perfect! They did a great job tailoring the art list to our preferences and appealing to everyone at the wedding. The dance floor was packed all night. Our guests still are talking about it!

David and the band made the wedding perfect! They did a great job tailoring the art list to our preferences and appealing to everyone at the wedding. The dance floor was packed all night. Our guests still are talking about it!

The BEST Band for your Wedding

Having The Love Revival Orchestra play at our wedding was the most amazing decision and made our reception SO memorable and fun!!! Every single one of our guests told us how much they loved the band, including commenting specifically on how talented all the musicians were (we fully agree!!). They have an incredible range - they knocked it out of the park on songs from Signed, Sealed, Delivered to Dosas & Mimosas. Guests of all ages were on the dancefloor all night long. Lawrence was an awesome hype man for the night and kept the energy up from start to finish!
We had seen their spin off band, the Yacht Lobsters, play in the city and from there knew this was a group we needed to have at our wedding (even though it was many different musicians, the talent & energy level were matched!) David was great to work with leading up to the event, helping with the flow of the day as well as flow of songs in the set, considering all our input very carefully. In addition to the reception, we had the guitarist play acoustic during our cocktail hour which was wonderful. They did a great job with our first dance song ending exactly as we requested it and learned a new song for our father daughter dance - Everybody Talks - and you'd have had no idea it was the first time they'd performed it! They also helped coordinate a surprise flash mob that we had no idea about! If you want your wedding to be a blast, we strongly recommend hiring The Love Revival Orchestra!

AMAZING wedding band

My parents have been to a few weddings with this band and insisted we got them too. They created such an incredible set list and were absolutely incredible. The dance floor was PACKED the entire time. I think my husband and I sat for a total of 10 minutes the entire night. We had a mishap with our video footage of the father daughter dance, and they happily replayed the song, and even encouraged me to do it again for the memory when I was hesitant. So glad they convinced me to that, because no we will always have the memory! All of our guests are still raving about them, and are saying they can’t remember a wedding they’ve been to where a dance floor was that consistently full. We are so grateful to Love Revival for keeping the dance floor full and making our day so memorable.

The Love Revival Orchestra was fabulous - prompt, responsive, flexible and, most importantly, outstanding musicians! They were very organized and planful and responded to my emails quickly. On the day of the wedding, they were very flexible and put on the show of a lifetime!

Greatest Wedding Band, expert help before the big day and Amazing performance and perfect execution

Wow, we feel so incredibly lucky to have worked with Dave and the Love Revival Orchestra. In the weeks leading up to the big day, we reviewed their inventory of songs (600+) and chose 12 songs we absolutely wanted them to play plus 50 or so that we l liked. Dave then created the set lists. He helped us understand how best to handle the schedule of the evening. They also did a sound check on a small part of the stage so we could set up the HUPA and have a clean view for photos and all those attending the ceremony, and then within 25 minutes they had been able to set up the band and start the first set. They even learned and rehearsed our first dance song so they could play it live. Every email and message we have received since the wedding mentions how incredible the party was and how perfect the band was. They even played songs in 6 different languages !! I know they are a very busy band and not the least expensive, but they if you are lucky enough to find that they are available for your big day, don't think twice,

Best Wedding Band Ever!

My husband & I worked with The Love Revival Orchestra for our wedding celebration in October 2022. We had come across this awesome band on Instagram and were immediately drawn to their energy & their unique parade. Being that my husband is from Brazil, the idea of incorporating a parade played a one-of-a-kind homage to Carnival and it was a smash hit with all of our wedding guests!! David was super responsive and easy to work with. Believe it or not, we were able to see The Love Revival at their Yacht Lobsters show in Manhattan before the wedding and knew we had made the right decision. Their song list available to select music from is extensive and they are flexible in working with the bride & groom in selecting music that will keep the party going and match your vision. They were the only band we interviewed that was as ready and excited to play Disco music as we were! Their variety of songs throughout the night was perfect and kept guests dancing the entire night. Everyone at the wedding agreed, The Love Revival Orchestra was the BEST wedding band they had ever heard and their energy was transcendent. We mixed guests from all over the world at the wedding and the energy and music was definitely the catalyst for such an amazing party. Highly recommend!

Incredible Wedding Band!

David & the entire band were amazing on our wedding night. They had kept up the energy at the reception and played most of the songs we requested. We received very positive feedback from our wedding guests and our wedding would have not have been nearly as fun if we did not hire the Love Orchestra Band for our event.

Best decision!

The love revival orchestra made our wedding so special. They were AMAZING. Truly so so great. Would recommend them to anyone. They were so responsive, professional, and incredibly talented. We’ve had so many friends ask for their contact information, they were simply just THAT good.
