My extended family members use this band for their weddings and family events so I knew exactly what I was getting. I was so excited for them to play at my wedding at Birch Wood Vineyards in NH. One month prior to the wedding they sent us a lengthy email with organized questions to answer about what songs we wanted played and which we did not. They also communicated back and forth with our venue coordinator so that I did not have to. It made our day even more perfect because communication was key and everyone knew exactly what to do. Their voices are unbelievable and they interacted with our guests when singing. We used them for our ceremony and they also learned 2 new songs to sing for us which were our first dance and the mother/son dance. My guests complimented how amazing they were and how awesome our song list was. Everyone had an awesome time! -

We had Love Revival play at our wedding and was the highlight of our entire day!! We were BLOWN away. From the music during our ceremony, the piano at cocktail hour, parade down to the reception, and the amazing reception/dancing music - everything was top notch. 90% of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. We are still getting compliments from guests on where we found this band and how amazing of a night they had because of the music. David was responsive, collaborative and communicating with us every minute up to our wedding day. He helped guide us to build a perfect flowing schedule for the evening. Thank you David and the entire Love Revival Band!! -

The Love Revival Orchestra is hands down the best wedding band out there! From start to finish I was impressed with them. I worked a lot with David who was responsive and flexible. I had my wedding in my parents back yard and the sound was incredible! They played for my ceremony, welcome drinks, and the reception. This band brings incredible talent, high energy, and great vibes. They gave me a list of a couple hundred songs to choose from and then curated the playlist of my dreams based on my choices. My husband was even allowed, and actually encouraged, to hop up on stage and play drums alongside them. This band is worth every single penny. I was honestly blown away by their performance. I cannot recommend them enough. This is the only band you should be considering for your event! -

Hiring the Love Revival Orchestra for our wedding was one of the best decisions my now wife & I made for our big day. They sounded spectacular and really read and fed off the energy of the room in a masterful way. David was a true professional and was great to work with. I'm very happy that I took his recommendation of adding a horn to the ensemble; it really added a whole new dimension to our wedding. If you need an A+ fantastic band for your special event I suggest you hire this band immediately and look no further. I hired them for my daughter's wedding and EVERYONE at the event said they have never heard a better band at a wedding. I previously heard them play other venues, so I knew how good they are. They were so lovely to communicate with leading up to the event, they had our guests on the dance floor, and they even helped me coordinate a surprise where I joined them onstage to surprise my now wife. The Love Revival Orchestra is not your typical wedding band. They are so talented and so entertaining, they really know how to get the energy of the crowd going. Wow, we feel so incredibly lucky to have worked with Dave and the Love Revival Orchestra. In the weeks leading up to the big day, we reviewed their inventory of songs (600+) and chose 12 songs we absolutely wanted them to play plus 50 or so that we l liked. Dave then created the set lists. He helped us understand how best to handle the schedule of the evening. They also did a sound check on a small part of the stage so we could set up the HUPA and have a clean view for photos and all those attending the ceremony, and then within 25 minutes they had been able to set up the band and start the first set. They even learned and rehearsed our first dance song so they could play it live. Every email and message we have received since the wedding mentions how incredible the party was and how perfect the band was. They even played songs in 6 different languages !! I know they are a very busy band and not the least expensive, but they if you are lucky enough to find that they are available for your big day, don't think twice,

Incredible Wedding Band!
David & the entire band were amazing on our wedding night. They had kept up the energy at the reception and played most of the songs we requested. We received very positive feedback from our wedding guests and our wedding would have not have been nearly as fun if we did not hire the Love Orchestra Band for our event. -

"Your Band is Amazing - Where did you find them?" is the question my wife and I continuously received throughout the wedding from both other guests and other vendors. Love Revival Orchestra absolutely made our wedding day. The band leader, Lawrence Trailer, was a blast and full of energy. We had a duo for our ceremony that absolutely crushed our processional and recessional and we had a jazz trio for our cocktail hour. In both circumstances, the music was perfect and caught the vibe we were looking for. The party really kicked up when David and the rest of the band led us into wedding reception New Orleans style with a parade and music leading the way. Once in at the reception, the band played all of our music requests with the highlight being my wife's requested song, Love Story by Taylor Swift, which the band learned how to play prior to the big day. The band was flexible (wedding was in Catskill barn with no phone/wifi services) and customized/adapted to our vibe for the big day. Thank you Love Revival Orchestra! -

Absolutely Incredible!
Booking The Love Revival Orchestra was the best decisionsthat we made in our wedding planning and was worth every penny. They were absolutely incredible! They had an amazing energy and were able to help us have the packed dance floor that we were hoping for and their sound was phenomenal. They were also so professional, they made all of the planning seamless. They played songs from the list that we gave them while also reading the room and knowing which songs to play to keep the party going. The Love Revival Orchestra is an EXCELLENT band!! David helped us every step of the way, was extremely responsive and helpful along the way. They even did a custom version of our requested wedding song. We got married two months ago now and the one comment we keep hearing is "THE BAND WAS AMAZING." One of the reason's we ended up picking Love Revival Orchestra was their song list - they have a fantastic song list that has more than the "Typical wedding songs" which was really important to us. We even moved our wedding date so that Love Revival Orchestra could play at our wedding! We danced the WHOLE night and Love Revival Orchestra truly made our wedding night a dream come true. My husband and I always knew we wanted a live band for our wedding, but choosing one was hard especially with the pandemic meaning we had to rely on recordings to see if we liked a band's energy. As soon as we started listening to Love Revival Orchestra, though, we said THIS is the one - their energy was infectious and incredible even in the recordings, and band leader David was awesome to work with. And on our wedding day they MADE the wedding - guests exclaimed over and over it was the best wedding band they'd ever heard. They keep the energy so high throughout the night and are incredibly musically talented and so versatile - from a gorgeous instrumental "Can't Help Falling In Love" bridal processional, to acoustic renditions of songs like "Fire and the Flood" during cocktail hour, to a hyping up New Orleans-style parade to lead guests into cocktail hour (seriously the best way to get guests inside!) to an energy explosion in our introduction, beautiful first dance, and then keeping the dance floor ABSOLUTELY packed the entire night with classic hits like "Shout" and more contemporary ones like a Lady Gaga medley - they really just kept the party going and we were absolutely thrilled with them! -

The Love Revival Orchestra outdid themselves!! David was extremely communicative from start to finish and was eager to work with us on a handful of songs which we wanted done in a specific way. His entire band CRUSHED THE ENTIRE NIGHT, spanning multiple genres of artists and songs! We received many compliments from our guests on the music – even weeks later! My father and brother are musicians and David was more than willing to allow them to jam with the band which was meaningful to us in so many ways. Take some of the stress off of your wedding planning by booking David and The Love Revival Orchestra, give him your music selection and tell him what you envision for your big day and he will help you make your day memorable! We are in love with The Love Revival Orchestra. We danced our brains out to them at a friend's wedding before we got engaged and so we knew we HAD to book them for ours. We booked them before booking the venue! The music and dancing was most important to us so the cost was a good chunk of our budget and we have NO regrets. They can work in different configurations with differing numbers of musicians and I would say book as many of these amazing musicians as you can. They are worth the price of admission! Extremely communicative, professional and they have a HUGE selection of songs in their rep. They will work with you to deliver on music that's important to you and will have a mix of songs for everyone. They know how to get people on the floor, and everyone that attended our wedding can't stop talking about how incredible they were. We are pumped to go see them in concert outside of weddings and suggest you do the same! -

This band is incredible.
The Love Revival Orchestra exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding on July 31, 2021 in upstate New York. Music was the central focus for our wedding. We wanted to throw a party for our loved ones and have guests on the dance floor all night long. The band was extraordinary. Each member is a talented musician and brought tremendous energy and good vibes. Every song they sang sounded equal to if not better than the original. Their standard was excellence and they never once missed their mark. You could feel their energy from the audience. They love playing with each other and they love music and it's contagious.
About a month before the wedding, David Mendelsohn sent us a detailed email questionnaire inquiring about the venue, event timing, logistics, and our musical preferences. He is an absolute professional with years of experience, and considered details that we would not have known to think about.
The band has a repertoire of over 600 songs with tremendous range. One might expect quality would suffer with so much range but each and every song was just fantastic. David made himself very available over email to discuss and understand our musical preferences including must plays, favorite genres/bands/songs, do not plays, etc.
We went with a guitar and violin duo for our ceremony, a jazz trio for our cocktail hour, the New Orleans style parade into the reception, and the 10-piece band for the reception including two female vocals and David (and an awesome fiddle(!) and brass section). The ceremony and cocktail hour sounded beautiful. The reception was three sets that included tracks from the Blues Brothers, Earth Wind & Fire, "Jump Jive An Wail", Gipsy Kings "Volare", Bill Withers "Lovely Day", "Despacito", "Ants Marching", "Semi-Charmed Life", Lady Gaga "Shallow", Lizzo "Truth Hurts", Cardi B "I Like It", Inner Circle "Sweat", Bruce Springsteen "Thunder Road", "Wagon Wheel", Killers " Mr. Brightside", "Shout" and several longer "mashups" of other great dance songs from different genres (Funk, Hip-Hop, 70s, etc.).
We gave the band one request for a unique version of "Sweet Child O' Mine" for the father/daughter dance and the female singer sounded even better than the version we sent her to replicate. Both female singers were just spectacular and David himself is just a total student of the game. His range is outrageous. He loves Bruce and sang "Thunder Road" so well that my 70 year old father with two recent knee replacements got up to dance.
I would pay to go to another wedding just to hear this band play again. Book them. Support them. Enjoy them. This is one part of your event that you do not have to think about. They are absolutely wonderful.

We first saw LRO at another wedding. They created an unforgettable atmosphere, so , naturally, they were the second vendor we booked after our venue. If you want a band who creates an incredible sound and keeps the dance floor filled, this is the band for you. David and the band are incredibly professional and creative, making each wedding unique for the couple. They even heard my very specific request for a special exit and made it happen. They can play a wide range of songs and they kill each song. You are making a HUGE mistake by getting any other band. LRO is the band that will make you feel amazing and keep your guests dancing. -

We saw the Love Revival Orchestra perform at another wedding prior to ours, and knew on the spot that we had found our wedding band! David was extremely easy to work with and answered all our questions in a timely manner. He helped us with a timeline and made sure everything was organized on site. They kicked off cocktail hour with gorgeous renditions of Beatles tunes, Grateful Dead, and some familiar wedding classics. The band totally killed it with our first dance and learned a new song by Talking Heads which was such a fun surprise. They also played an insane Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits that we will never forget! All of our guests commented on how talented the band was and how much fun they were having. The Love Revival Orchestra knocked it out of the park. They met our expectations and exceeded them by far. If you are looking for a wedding band, look no further. Our wedding was two weeks ago, and we are still getting texts, phone calls, and emails telling us how great our band was and asking where they are from.
David was easy to talk to and was very professional. He would respond to emails immediately and gave very thorough information. He and the band learned two songs for us (which they then sent us afterward), and they made sure to play our favorite songs. They were also great at reading the room and got everyone on the dance floor. My 94-year-old grandparents even busted moves!
One of our favorite parts about having the Love Revival Orchestra was that they entered the tent playing music and then processed everyone into the barn where the dancing was. It took everyone by surprise and definitely got people to the second location much faster than they would have without it.
I am a musician and have very high expectations for bands. After reading all of the reviews, our expectations for this band were even higher. Suffice it to say that they far exceeded our expectations. They killed it! They played for four hours, and I danced for all of it (and I was not alone). All of the musicians were phenomenal and had terrific stage presence. They all looked like they were having as much fun as we were. The female vocalist, Brie, had an incredible range.
What makes this band so good is not only their highly talented musicians but that they don't just play cookie cutter versions of songs. They had an 80's medley and a Lady Gaga medley and they put their own subtle spin on things. They were just so fun to listen to and watch perform. I sincerely hope that I get to see them play again!
