We are so happy we chose the Lodge at the Rock for our wedding. The view overlooking Whitnall Park makes for a beautiful outdoor ceremony space & backdrop for pictures. We also loved having the outdoor space for our guests to play lawn games during cocktail hour and sit around the fire in the evening. The indoor space is rustic & cozy. Andrea was great to work with and was very flexible throughout us postponing due to Covid. All the staff at the Rock were great and made sure the day ran smoothly! Highly recommend!

Our dream wedding consisted of an indoor/outdoor venue, ceremony and reception at the same location, and a rustic yet classy venue. The Lodge at The Rock hit every one of those marks. The view from the top of the hill is beyond gorgeous. It makes for a beautiful outdoor ceremony and incredible wedding photos. Guests were able to enjoy the outdoor patio and still be able to cool off in the air conditioned building during the heat of August. The fire pit was a wonderful addition to the evening. Andrea, the coordinator, was professional, insightful, and always accommodating when it came to making sure our day was exactly how we envisioned. She helped behind the scenes the day of the wedding to ensure everything went as planned. The rest of the staff members and bartenders were also great. The Rock is a hidden gem when it comes to venues in Southeastern WI. We highly recommend this venue! Thank you for everything!

We were first looking into a barn venue for our wedding, however they are very costly. This is the perfect venue to still give you that rustic wedding but at an affordable price! The view is beautiful and the staff was very responsive in answering all of our questions. They successfully accommodated an indoor ceremony at the last minute the afternoon of the wedding when we changed our minds on an outdoor ceremony. We also hardly had to decorate at all because the venue is perfectly rustic. We highly recommend them!

The Rock is a beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces to celebrate. Andrea was always available and easy to communicate with. Throughout all the changes due to COVID she was responsive, answered all our questions and worked with us to make our day safe but fun. She was there throughout the entire event and worked behind the scenes to make sure everything went smoothly. Definitely recommend!!

We had our wedding reception there and it turned out perfect. Nicole and her staff were awesome. Nicole responded to any and all my questions whether they were big or small promptly without any hesitation. She was so easy to work with from the beginning. The bar staff was just as great to work with. The venue itself was perfect! We were able to have a live band play outside and a dj inside once the band left so it was pure perfection with how it is laid out. We had a lot of people but because of having it as an indoor/outdoor venue, we had more than enough room. The pictures from the photographer turned out beautiful with the outdoor scenery that added an extra special touch. I have nothing but wonderful words to say about the staff and the venue. Everyone loved our reception and only received positive feedback.

Her communication with us was more than we could have ever asked for and she took all the uncertainty out of a stressful time during the planning stages. Nicole and her staff were extremely professional and went out of their way to make us feel like we're the only event they had even though there were events there every weekend. Nicole took the lead in communicating with our vendors and made sure no details were overlooked. We had an amazing time at our wedding reception at The Rock and it was an evening we'll never forget. The place looked absolutely amazing on our wedding day and we would definitely recommend The Rock for anyone looking to host a classy wedding with a rustic appearance. We can't say enough good things about our experience. Thank you again for everything!

Amazing place for a wedding reception

Kristin was great! She was very prompt in answering all of my questions. She was so helpful throughout the whole process and took care of a lot of little details.

Nicole was a pleasure to work with in planning and on the day of the event.
Our guest loved the venue . Lots of room for table options . My only negative was the carpet was kinda if dirty . Yes it was vacuumed. But the event the night before was a messy one. Tables were a bit sticky.Overall the room a great space and beautiful view .

As a bride you are worried about everything, but the girls at The Rock made my day so easy for me to enjoy. My guest had wonderful feedback about the indoor and outdoor amenities. The fire place and s’mores bar was a hit! We had an amazing time!

We had a wonderful experience for our October Wedding Reception at The Lodge! Our guests loved the fireplace out back and the beautiful view. We heard nothing but great feedback from our guests about the space and it was perfect for our 100ish guests. Andrea was very flexible and helpful in making our dreams come true! We appreciate everything she coordinated and did for our day. An amazing venue, with an amazing team!!

This venue and staff is amazing. Nicole was wonderful to work with and VERY responsive! We planned for an outdoor ceremony and it ended up raining all day, so Nicole set up the ceremony inside and it ended up being beautiful! She listens to what you want and don’t want, and is so extremely helpful! The bar was packed all night and the bartenders were great at keeping up. The fireplace outside at night was the perfect touch for people who didn’t want to be inside. The only thing i noticed was that the dinner seating was slightly cramped for 170 people. But after dinner, there was more than enough space for everyone to mingle and dance! There’s also a lot of hotels in the area with shuttle services. Very happy that we chose the rock for our wedding venue.

Everything was just how we imagined it. We had some issue with communication at the start due to the coordinator switching a few times. However it turned out to work for the best. Nicole was awesome.

My husband and I booked the Rock ski lodge mostly because it was a place he grew up snowboarding at as a kid. The lodge is very beautiful all by itself, with great views of the hill and surrounding areas. The patio with the bonfire was a big hit at our summer party. They offered beautiful giant rustic wood tables, and some options for upgrades (linens, chairs, etc). There was ample space for our guests and we received so many compliments. Great space!

The place is gorgeous and the trees in the background for our fall wedding were perfect for picture taking. The rustic vibe fit into our decor theme very nicely. Andrea was always quick to respond to any questions I had for her.

Scenery for an outdoor ceremony is beautiful at the rock. Great for sunset photos. The decor inside works perfect for a more rustic style of reception. Received many compliments from guests on how everything looked. The Rock worked very well with us through everything with the pandemic and we're very happy that we didn't have to reschedule the date!

1. Our bartenders/event staff were not dressed for an event and also spent quite a bit of time on their phones. The one guy was wearing a hoodie and athletic shorts and sat on the back of the bar chatting with the bartenders for a long time.
2. The tables were set up so close together it was really hard for people to sit comfortably. We had one table of my husband's family that came from out of state that could not sit at all due to how crammed it was. They had to stand and eat with their young children. That is unacceptable.
3. We were told there would be people monitoring and keeping people from the haunted house on the complex out but that was not the case. People were wandering in and out all night using the bathroom, sitting by the fire pit, standing in front of the venue, taking beer off tables and leaving, etc.
4. We were also told that signs would be put up leading people to the venue as the complex can be kind of confusing, but there were no signs. Our caterer was late because they couldn't find it and I had several guests tell me they had a hard time as well.
5. Andrea, the event coordinator, was giving tours while we were setting up for our wedding and then was not there for our event. She also did not have certain things set up the way we expected. We had a few different meetings but then she still sent me the wrong floor plan that I had to correct. She doesn't really seem to have it together.
6. When I brought these things to their attention after our wedding, their responses were pretty condescending and they took no responsibility. They offered a gift card to go skiing.

Using this venue is the only regret I have about my wedding day and it just sucks that it was the thing we spent the most money on. The venue is gorgeous but their service needs major improvements.

Management offers no resolution for any issues that a consumer may have. Very unprofessional, will not recommend this place to anyone nor will I be back..
