I am very late on getting to this review but The Lodge at Breckenridge is DEF a hidden gem of a place to get married. We have stayed at the Lodge a couple times prior to our wedding and actually got engaged out on the balcony under the stars. So when it was time to wedding plan, we couldn't think of a better place to go.
We originally planned for a Fall 2024 wedding but due to some unforeseen circumstances we had to postpone until Fall 2025. The sales staff, Amy especially, was absolutely terrific. She was so helpful and understanding and happily worked with us to delay our plans and pick a new date. Amy and team also indulged and endured my many, MANY emails and questions But they made sure the day was exactly what we wanted and I appreciate them beyond words.
Upon checking in, we were greeted by Whitney(The MVP of our whole stay) who helped us with our welcome bags and getting checked in and continuously made sure we had everything we needed.
The day of the wedding, as one can imagine, was busy and stressful and the Colorado mountain weather decided it was in a mood that day. We went from super windy, to rainy, to foggy, to snowy, to just plain cold all in a matter of hours. Right before our outdoor ceremony, it decided to pour down rain. The banquet staff, Maribel especially, in tandem with our vendors sprung into action to get us setup inside and made the best of the situation. The rest of the evening was absolutely perfect. The staff was great, the bartender was EXCELLENT(Im sorry but I can't recall his name!). Our wedding was not huge, ~65, and my one worry was a line forming at the bar. He was moving and grooving and there was never a line ever. All our food was great and everyone had a great time.
This is a place that we will return to from time to time because it hold a special place in our hearts. If you're considering a mountain wedding, def check out The Lodge! It has the best views in Breck and you won't be disappointed.The Lodge at Breckenridge's reply:

We held our micro wedding at The Lodge at Breckenridge, and it was truly the best decision we could have made. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly attentive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Amy, Mira, and Meg were absolutely amazing—supportive throughout the entire planning process and phenomenal on the wedding day itself. Their responsiveness and clear communication made everything smooth and stress-free, turning what could have been an overwhelming experience into a walk in the park.

Perfect wedding spot!
We absolutely loved having our wedding here. The team was super helpful and accommodating. They let us in an hour earlier than our wedding was scheduled so we could decorate. The view was AMAZING! We stayed at the lodge for a couple days and the front desk guy Korey was great. He helped us out a lot and was super friendly. The shuttle was great too. We liked how friendly the drivers were and how fast they would come and pick us up.The Lodge at Breckenridge's reply:

We had our wedding last week and it was incredible! It actually snowed a lot that week and on our wedding date, it was the clearest day. The Lodge cleared off all the snow off the balcony so we could have our ceremony outside. They were super accommodating and understanding, especially Amy and Meg from Sales. There was great communication on their part since we were from out of state. If you want a venue with gorgeous views, pick The Lodge! Fall Wedding
We had our wedding and reception at The Lodge. It was absolutely wonderful! The views were incredible, the food was great, staff were so nice and helpful. Everything turned out beautifully and our day was perfect. We also stayed at The Lodge for a couple days and everything with our stay was great. They even left us a note and champagne in our room. Amy and Meg were always responsive and super helpful. Highly recommend.

Destination like no other
My husband and I got married November 9, 2023 at The Lodge at Breckenridge. We decided three months before our wedding date to change our venue from Charleston, SC (our home state) to Colorado. My sister found The Lodge online and we fell in love. The Lodge at Breck was a one stop shop for us. They provided a beautiful deck for our ceremony, a ballroom for our reception, lodging for our guests, AMAZING food and staff for our entire event. They assisted us in touring the venue virtually and planning the small details from linens to floor plan. They provided a preferred vendor list and nailed it out of the park (check out Marianne Brown Photography if you're looking for a photographer they gave us!). We had a small group, less than 25. They still gave us the big wedding attitude. The staff was interactive and fun. Did I mention the food? It was absolutely delicious!
The last minute swap to The Lodge at Breck coupled with their staff and nearly all inclusivity made wedding planning a breeze for us all the way in SC. 10 out of 10 recommend! -

The Lodge at Breckenridge was the perfect location for our small mountain dream wedding. Jenny and team were very responsive from the beginning and answered any and every question we could think of. We spoke with several venues before booking, but Jenny and team made us feel so welcome and comfortable that it was a very easy choice. Plus, you can't beat the view! Our guests raved about the food, and the hospitality from the entire staff. All of our guests ended up staying at the Lodge, so it was a special treat to be able to mingle with them each morning at the complimentary breakfast and every night at happy hour in Traverse. We even had our after party in Traverse which was very easy to set up with the restaurant manager! Most importantly, the Lodge is dog friendly. We drove all the way from Virginia to have our pup in the wedding, and the Lodge treated her so well. Would absolutely recommend!The Lodge at Breckenridge's reply:

Everything about The Lodge was amazing! The staff was so accommodating and treated my small 12 guest wedding like a 500 guest party. They helped with the timing, food choices, room set up and more. They even allowed us to borrow a room so my husband and I could get ready separately on our big day. Kat the sales manager, was constantly on top of everything and always made sure we were comfortable with all our choices along the way. Anytime we had a question or needed anything she was always super responsive. Also, I almost forgot to mention the food was great! All our guests raved about the food and liked that it wasn’t typical bland wedding food. I loved everything about The Lodge and I can’t wait to go back. I’m so happy we chose to go with this venue. Perfect mountain venue!
The Lodge at Breckenridge was the perfect wedding venue- especially for intimate weddings!
Our wedding was 19 people total- so a small group. We initially had a hard time finding venues that would fit our group well because I didn’t want a huge ballroom to feel empty. The Lodge is perfect for small groups! Our ceremony and cocktail hour were on the wedding deck and the reception was in the foyer area. We had one long table down the middle and it fit our group perfectly. The foyer area also has wood floors, a big fireplace, and that rustic Colorado lodge feel. If you have a large wedding no worries- they have a ballroom too!
I also appreciate that The Lodge has their wedding brochure posted on their website. When I was in the initial vendor search phase of wedding planning I found it so frustrating to have to inquire with multiple vendors (and wait to hear back) to find out basic pricing just to find out that some of the places weren’t even close to my budget. It is so refreshing to have that information available on the website!
Once we reached out to The Lodge we found that everyone that we worked with was extremely helpful with the planning process. The wedding packages The Lodge offers are also super easy to understand. No extra surprise charges or silly additions to the packages, it was all super straightforward. The booking process was also very simple for us.
We ended up booking Natalie from The Lodge to do our day of coordination and decor setup/teardown. She was a lifesaver! Once we first spoke with her I immediately felt so relaxed- I could tell that she had done this all before and would take care of us and that she did. I would highly recommend that you book her services- she is totally worth it!
The food at The Lodge was delicious- we heard multiple compliments from our family about how good everything was! I feel like wedding food can sometimes be boring and bland but everything from the hors d'oeuvres to the buffet was really good!
Lastly, the wedding deck at The Lodge has the most amazing mountain views! It is seriously so beautiful! If you want to really feel like you are in the mountains this is your place! Our families could not stop talking about how perfect it was out there!
Overall we had literally the best day getting married at The Lodge. It was an absolutely perfect day and I am so thankful we found the team at The Lodge at Breckenridge! I really don't think we could have found a more perfect venue for our intimate mountain wedding!The Lodge at Breckenridge's reply:

My husband and I had our wedding here recently and absolutely LOVED IT. From the moment we expressed interest in the venue to several days after our wedding was done, we were totally taken care of by the staff at The Lodge. We also stayed at their two private houses with our bridal party for three days and it was WONDERFUL! We had a welcome drinks party outside the houses with lawn games and the staff at The Lodge was more than happy to help accommodate with a bartender and table/chair set up. The wedding itself was an absolute dream. We hired Natalie as our wedding coordinator and she did a phenomenal job throughout the day to make sure everything was stress free and we were well taken care of. They are full service as well - so provided all food, alcohol, staff for set up and break down, etc. The $20,000 we spent here includes all food, alcohol, linens, tables, chairs, set up, break down, wedding coordinator fee, and more. Not to mention the AMAZING deck. Views all day and all night. 10 out of 10 wish I could repeat my wedding over and over again here every weekend :) -

We had an amazing experience with The Lodge! It was one of the first venues I found that I really liked, but I thought it would be out of our price range. Luckily they have a few specials depending on time of year and day of the week that made it fit our budget perfectly, and we had our beautiful wedding there in May. I am so glad we picked this venue and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain wedding!
Communication - We met with Jenny to visit the venue last year and she was very welcoming and explained the many things we didn't know about weddings! Right after our meeting she emailed us an information packet and a cost estimate. Jenny and Natalie were great about getting back to us quickly when we had questions or concerns.
Food - we got to try 2 entrees and 2 appetizers for our food tasting and everything was delicious! We chose the steak and the vegetarian ravioli for our main dishes and our guests loved both. The side dish potatoes were also very good!
Day-Of-Coordinator - we hired Natalie from the Lodge as our DOC and I don't know what we would have done without her. I knew nothing about weddings when I started and she answered all my questions and helped me plan the day down to the last detail. On the day before and day-of, she organized our wedding party and family members, and set up all of our decorations so beautifully. We didn't feel a tiny bit of stress because we knew Natalie was taking care of everything!
Hotel - We stayed in a room at the Lodge as did a lot of our guests. The hotel is dog-friendly and some of our friends brought their dogs. The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds and big showers. And you can't beat the view! The location is also nice because there are a lot of AirBNB's nearby which is where some of our guests chose to stay. -

Jenn Sent on 09/18/2018Guys. GET MARRIED HERE. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and the people on their team. I planned a small destination wedding and after considering many types of venues, the Lodge quickly became the top-choice. From the moment I inquired about setting up a tour, Jenny, their sales manager was incredibly helpful. They are transparent about their pricing and options as well as what kind of event is best for their venue. I felt like a lot of venues weren't very transparent with their pricing structures which made me very uneasy-- with The Lodge, I knew from one week in to the planning process what I could expect. I will say, make sure you are willing to be flexible with your date here because the calendar does fill-up quickly. At one point we had four dates to choose from that quickly dwindled to two just a week later. Luckily, it all worked out perfectly.
The guests all raved about the food and the bartender was fabulous. The waitstaff was super sweet and make my husband and I a plate of snacks and offered to make us a plate of dinner later.
Also, you can rest assured that most of the vendors you will hire have also worked with The Lodge at some point or another, which makes planning a breeze because everyone already knows the drill!

Lauren Sent on 09/25/2017Y'all, just pick the lodge. If you're reading this and wanting to get married in the mountains, pick the lodge. It has the most breathtaking views from the deck of anywhere in Summit County. We had the best time with our wedding at the lodge. Each set of parents rented the two houses on the property and that's where we got ready on the day of. Everyone enjoyed the close knit setting and the wonderful service of the lodge. The food that they provide is SO good and they are so flexible with your eating/drinking preferences. We kept saying how great it was not to deal with corporate red tape and to actually deal with Jenna or Jenny at the Lodge. We had a great experience and seriously, you will too.

She was an instant friend that lead me in every direction if needed. We had Joe bartend due to the remodel and he did an AMAZING job. I could have not asked for a better bartender. Super dog friendly venue which is valued in our dog loving family. Front desk staff were very welcoming and accommodating during the remodel. Rachael Sent on 08/10/2018This venue is top notch in every way. The views are breathtaking and the rooms are as cozy as they come. The Honeymoon Suite was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for us girls to get ready in before the wedding. Jenny and Natalie, the wedding coordinators, were both so attentive, caring, and accomodating of our needs. I cannot speak highly enough of them. I feel like they were a part of our "family" because they cared so much about ensuring that our special day was just that. Thank you, Jenny and Natalie!

Wow! Where do I start...my husband and I got married at The Lodge in Breckenridge, CO (during the pandemic). Yes, we were required to cut our guest count 2 weeks before the event, however we realize this was completely out of The Lodge's control. My husband is from Colorado and I am from Kansas City (we both currently reside in KC), and being long distance while planning a wedding can be more stressful (oh yeah, and add a pandemic to the mix why don't ya?). The Lodge had every question covered and if by chance they didn't know the answer to a question (which happened once MAYBE twice) they quickly got the answer for me. I have celiac disease AND it was important for us to have our corgi apart of the wedding. The Lodge accommodated both of those for us. We rented both cabins and a nearby VRBO (as well as had a couple guests in hotel rooms at The Lodge) which I would recommend taking advantage if you have a wedding with them. Their views are spectacular (DUH. There are also awesome nearby trails) and even though we had to cut our guest count by 100 people Kat was absolutely amazing to work with during the less than ideal process. Our family and small amount of friends can't stop raving about their weekend in Breck staying at The Lodge. The vendors we used at our event were also absolutely amazing: Kelsey Booth (Photo), Orange Soda Films (Video), Petal & Bean (florals), The Cake Maker (cake, cupcakes and rice crispy treats), and Greatime DJ (Bob Bridges for ceremony and reception DJ).
FYI something to keep in mind and that was new for someone from Kansas City. The mountain towns don't always operate like the city does. They have different days off since the weekends are when the big events happen (i.e. busier for them). So there would be times when I had difficulty getting ahold of someone, but they did always respond eventually.The Lodge at Breckenridge's reply:

Abby Sent on 10/19/2017We had an amazing experience getting married at The Lodge this fall - they went through some employee turnover in 2016/2017 but we still had no problems with timely response and getting what we needed. Planning and the amazing views aside, they really wowed us with the banquet service at the reception. We got several comments that the food was the best some of our guests had ever had at a wedding, and that the service was flawless - food was served fast, served hot, and plates were cleared right away! Presentation was gorgeous too, I remember feeling that the appetizer prices were on the high side, but when I saw them during cocktail hour I felt they were worth every penny.
The honeymoon suite was also gorgeous and the on-site rental homes are the perfect spots for wedding party to get ready and for families/groups of friends to stay.
We love The Lodge - HIGHLY recommend!! -

Our wedding at The Lodge was perfect. It's a pretty hands off venue, which suited us. Our wedding was small and the space was just right, it didn't feel empty like some venues do. We planned the wedding from out of state and didn't have any issues doing this!
