The Lockharts exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment they arrived on our wedding day, they made us feel completely comfortable, calm, and taken care of. Their energy was incredible all day long, not just with us, but with every single member of our families and friends. Our parents are still talking about how wonderful they were!
They were organized, efficient, and kept everyone moving during portraits, yet still made it all feel fun and effortless. Then once the reception started, they blended in so seamlessly with the celebration that we barely even noticed they were there, while somehow still capturing every moment. We’ve always said we didn’t love when photographers and videographers feel like they’re in everyone’s faces, and they were the complete opposite in the best way possible.
They also bravely powered through the cold weather to help bring our dream New York winter wonderland wedding to life, and we are so grateful for their talent, professionalism, and kindness. We are beyond happy we found them and will recommend them to absolutely everyone we know. We cannot wait to see all the photos and video and relive the magic all over again!

Where to even begin! The Lockharts were one of the best parts of our wedding day. My husband and I are not natural posers for photos by any means, but they made us feel so relaxed and sometimes unaware of cameras on us! They captured the most gorgeous shots, intimate moments, and all the parts of the wedding that we missed whenever we were whisked away. Our guests kept commenting that they looked like our own personal security team / professional paparazzi since they all had walkies and ear pieces to clearly communicate with one another - hence our joke of seal team 6. I would highly HIGHLY recommend Luis and Michelle and their team to all couples, truly the best bang for your buck and the kind of lovely people you want to share your big day with!

Ohhhh where to even begin with this team!! From our initial phone call to our absolutely unreal engagement shoot we clicked with them immediately, they understood our vision completely and come wedding day, they felt like family. They made us feel so comfortable and assured everything was always natural to bring to light photos that really captured our essence and the love in the air that day to really bring us back to the moment.
Not only their talent, but their dedication and energetic presence was evident all 13+ hours we had them with us. Their expertise was constantly shining through from the electric fans they had for the unexpected heat, to the hype up music they played when we were fading at the tail end of portraits, to their perfectly organized timeline. There was nothing that they forgot or a detail that went unnoticed. We truly had FUN with them and they helped us have the most seamless day. They were able to get every single shot we wanted and were open to any crazy idea I had but captured it 100x better than we ever could’ve imagined.

Made our wedding weekend
We hired the Lockharts after meeting them on two occasions at our best friend's weddings. They truly are a spectacular couple and made our wedding weekend. We knew we had a big weekend ahead of us with 3 days of events, they executed each day with such good vibes, and put together the most amazing videos and photos. They listened to every request of ours, no matter how big or small, and made sure to find a way to make it happen. Each member of their team was so personable, we had MULTIPLE guests rave about them and how incredible they were. I'm not even sure where to begin!!! The Lockharts were always my first choice from the start! Time and time again, the Lockharts continue to capture all of the beautiful weddings within my family. We can't say enough about The Lockharts— they were beyond incredible! From the moment we met The Lockharts, they were so personable and truly made us feel like we were in the best hands. Weddings always come with a few hiccups, but ours had the biggest hiccup of all time (the power went off for an hour). It wasn't The Lockharts problem at all but they stepped in immediately to keep us calm, collected, laughing and distracted throughout the issue. They took on the role of wedding planner when they knew we needed it most. Their ability to manage chaos with grace and humor was unmatched. It wasn't their job to do it, but they did it anyways. Because that is who they are... they go above and beyond to support every couple they have. The Lockharts are more than your average vendor. They truly care for you as a couple. They are the best decision we made for our wedding day.
What really blew us away was how much they went above and beyond their roles. After the ceremony, they stepped in as wedding planners and even acted as a seamstress for the groom's attire when he had an unexpected wardrobe mishap (THANK YOU Luis for finding Dans button and sewing it!) They handled every situation with such ease, ensuring everything stayed on track.
And then, of course, there are the photos and videos—wow. Their talent behind the lens is out of this world. Every shot captures the love, joy, and magic of the day so perfectly. They didn't just take pictures and videos; they preserved memories we’ll cherish forever.

From the moment we met them through video call, we had an instant connection and we knew that they were the right team for us. The Lockharts are so incredibly talented at what they do. As soon as we saw examples of their work we knew we wanted to hire them for our wedding and our photos and videos came out better than we could have imagined. Michelle and Luis are the sweetest people to work with and always super responsive and helpful throughout planning. They even went along with my dream engagement shoot on rowboats in Central Park. They captured every detail and all of our loved ones at our wedding so perfectly, the memories that we now have to look back on forever are priceless. The Lockharts were truly amazing from our first meeting to our wedding day. When hiring a photographer and videographer, we wanted a team that not only could capture the day in a way that fit our style, but also a group of people who we would have fun with. Our first zoom meeting with the Lockharts was our first photo/video vendor meeting. Michelle was so clearly able to see our vision and was so genuine that within 10 minutes after the call, we called our planner and had her cancel the other meetings because we knew we found the perfect fit. With the Lockharts, not only did we receive the most incredible, timeless photos and videos but we also had an amazing time with their whole team throughout the day. The Lockharts and their team fit into our wedding day like they were guests and we had been friends for years. SWEETEST couple, BEST photographers!
As a wedding photographer myself, when I began my search for a photographer for my own wedding, it was the most important decision I was making for my wedding day. Stunning Videography
I am so thankful that I found the Lockhart’s! I was blown away by the sneak peak of our wedding video and even more impressed by the final product of my wedding video. The absolute best!
The Lockharts did an exceptional job on our wedding. We truly could not have pictured working with anyone else. After capturing my older sisters wedding PERFECTLY, when it came down to deciding a photographer it was a no brainer that we would use them in ours two years later. Not only are they extremely professional, talented, and use the best techniques, they are also down to earth and friendly. We had such a great time and felt so comfortable in front of the camera with them. The entire experience was seamless and definitely WORTH every penny. We enjoyed working with them so much and will cherish our beautiful pictures and video forever.
We also cannot wait to see them again- as many of our friends booked them for their upcoming weddings after seeing their amazing work!!!

You could not ask for a better couple to work with during your wedding than Luis and Michelle Lockhart! I had spent months researching and meeting with many photographers and videographers, and within the first few minutes of meeting the Lockharts, I knew they would be the perfect choice. They are such a joy to work with and made us feel at ease during each session. We hired them for our bridal portraits, engagement session, and for photo and video footage of our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with not only the quality of the photos and videos they created, but also with how professional they were—especially on our big day. Perfect pictures/video I will cherish forever!!
The Lockharts team were the best photographer/videographer duo that I've ever seen used for a wedding. The photos were perfect and they captured every special moment during our day. The video makes me cry every time I watch it. They really know how to show all of the emotions experienced throughout the day. They were so warm and friendly during our wedding. It really felt like they were family there capturing our wedding day. The entire team was incredibly professional. They captured all of the pictures that I specifically requested as well as a ton of pictures that I didn't even know I would want. I will cherish all of my photos and videos for the rest of my life. The Ultimate Duo
Hands down, the Lockharts exceeded our expectations! My now husband and I started planning our wedding in January 2021 when we discovered the Lockharts. My initial interaction was with Michelle over the phone and we immediately had a connection. Michelle came across very warm and very engaged in learning my vision. With no hesitations, I knew the Lockharts were the ones to film our wedding! On the day of the wedding, we met Michelle & Luis in person for the first time. It truly felt like we were connecting with old friends again since the pandemic. They are the ultimate hype videographers. Not only did Michelle make me feel beautiful, the duo made me and my husband feel ourselves and let our playful personality shine! I can not recommend them enough! Everything was perfect and as promised! By the time we landed in Hawaii for our honeymoon, they already had the preview video up on instagram! It was an incredible feeling to watch a preview of our wedding day while on our honeymoon! A few weeks later, when the wedding blues were setting in, sure enough we received an email with all of the footage! They did an incredible job with the editing and finished product! Michelle and Luis are amazing to work with! We used them and their team for our 11/5/22 wedding and would choose them every time moving forward. Photo/video was one vendor we splurged on and it was worth every penny. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and they gave us so much direction without being impatient. They bring such good energy and made our day so incredibly special! We haven’t gotten our final pictures back yet but the teasers were amazing so we know those will be too. We highly recommend The Lockharts for any event you have! Such a high quality of service and both just super nice people in general. A literal DREAM
Hire the lockharts! Just do it! Michelle is the kindest and most talented videographer in the game and she and her husband captured our day perfectly! They were easy to work with, communicate with, and sent us a sneak peek within a day or two!! They also use a drone to get really cool footage. Best Wedding Photographers in the Business
We could not have DREAMED of a better wedding photography experience than what Luis and Michelle Lockhart gave us. The Lockharts are exceptionally talented at everything they do, and we really couldn't have imagined working with anyone else other than them! Luis and Michelle photographed our engagement session, my bridals session, and, of course, our entire wedding day and we are so grateful for the way they were able to capture our love. Having Luis and Michelle on our wedding team truly made our day so special! We were able to meet with them virtually to talk about your expectations and then met them again for our engagement photos at our venue a year before our actual wedding. The BEST in the Biz!
WOW! The Lockharts were hands-down our favorite vendor. They shot our engagement session in 2019 (our pictures even won a contest with @bridesofnorthtx), our court wedding in 2020, and finally our "big" wedding in 2021. Their artistic vision is incredible and we will treasure the pictures and videos they took for a lifetime. They have such a calming presence, meshed perfectly with my family, kept us on schedule, and were so discrete that I honestly don't know how they got the amazing shots they did! My husband and I are incredible awkward in front of the camera and with their magic they make us feel and look like models! To top it all off, they are impressively quick. I know they are swamped with weddings right now, but within a few days we got our 1 minute sneak peek video and within two weeks we got a huge sample gallery of our photos - truly amazing! Seriously my favorite part of the wedding! Luis and Michelle were absolutely lovely! As soon as I saw their Instagram, I fell in love with how they captured photos. Book the Lockharts!!!
Having the Lockharts part of your special day will be one of the best decisions you have ever made..... words cannot even begin to describe how blessed we feel that they captured our day. Not only was the video beyond our wildest dreams beautiful, but they are the sweetest, most professional people! It was extremely windy (like extremely) on the day of our wedding and watching the video back you would truly have NO idea... and we got the sneak peak back within DAYS! We had to reschedule several times and moved locations several times due to COVID and they were absolutely wonderful about it. These are the types of people you want beside you on your special day (because you spend a lot of time with them!) and their finished product that will blow your mind. They are truly the total package!!!
Update: I’ve also had the pleasure of being a guest at 2 weddings that they have shot and their work captured those weddings beautifully as well. Currently working on finding them another wedding to do where I am a guest because I just love “running into” this amazing couple! :)

I can’t say enough one things about The Lockharts! We first met during our engagement shoot, and by the end of the session, we felt like we’ve known them forever! They were super accommodating when we had to change our date and location due to covid and worked with us every step of the way. Having a video of our wedding day was on the top of my list for things I wanted to have for our wedding and I am very thankful to have found Luis and Michelle. They were thankfully in our budget and after our first chat on the phone, I knew they would be the perfect addition to our big day. When we finally meet the day of the wedding they were the nicest people to work with they made us feel comfortable and there team was amazing also. When we received our wedding highlight we were in tears with how beautiful and cinematic it was. We know our pictures and video are going to be incredible. We can’t thank them enough.

Where do I begin??? Luis and Michelle were SO INCREDIBLE & DEFINITELY exceeded our expectations. We got married on June 23rd 2019. A few months prior the wedding we got in touch over the phone while I was freaking out because I couldn’t get the timeline together. They walked me through the entire day and had everything planned out, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The way they work is so professional and they try to work with you in everything you want and make your day so easy. They capture the moment as it is without having to take us out from our wedding every minute for shots. I absolutely loved that because we got to enjoy our day and everything was captured while we had fun. Everyone till this day is talking about how amazing our pictures came out!! A decision that you will not regret!
Choosing The Lockharts to capture our big wedding day was a decision that we do not regret! From the very beginning, the were very organized, kind and helpful. It was very hard to find a vendor that offered both photography and videography within our budget, so when we found them, we were very excited to give them a shot. Gorgeous, stress-free photos with fun, easy-going couple
My husband and I dread taking pictures, but I knew I wanted beautiful pictures to look back on for the rest of our life together... and I'm so glad I found the Lockharts! Luis and Michelle were so incredibly patient and flexible on our wedding day, especially since it rained cats and dogs. They were able to adapt and find great shots without my husband and I standing in a monsoon, and they were great about checking in with us throughout the day to make sure they were getting all the shots we wanted. They had the perfect style for our morning wedding/brunch reception: light, airy, BEAUTIFUL. My husband and I didn't do an engagement session so I was nervous about how the wedding day would go, but Luis and Michelle made us so comfortable and I can't wait to see all the moments they captured!!!

I cannot say enough good things about the Lockharts! Aside from being genuinely great people, they went out of their way to be super accommodating. My only complaint would be minor timing issues with the wedding day timeline but that is to be expected with weddings, I think, considering how much stuff is going on. Overall, they are great to work with and produce such great quality work. Would definitely recommend!

Luis and Michelle Lockhart are definitely two professional individuals who are dedicated and passionate of photography and videography. They took time to meet with us and explain everything in the contract. I remember having various questions and concerns and they were very pleasant in answering. When our big day arrived, both were ON TIME, which is every bride's wish. They took time to take pictures and videos of everything we had asked for. Luis and his wife were amazing! They were very patient with our large group and were able to get really great pictures. They asked us what we wanted pictures of and even got really beautiful pictures of details we didn't even think of. The quality they offer for their product is really a steal compared to others in this space. I recommend them to everyone! I can't wait to book them again for our next event.
