We used The Little Garden Spot for floral and candles at our wedding. We were blown away by how perfect everything turned out. We gave Deborah a general idea of what we wanted and she outdid herself! I told her that we wanted "bright fall" with a few small parameters and she just did her thing. We still talk about how gorgeous our florals were that day. We did not expect to love it as much as we did and had so many compliments from our guests. Deborah is also a joy to work with and has a passion for what she does. It is so refreshing to have her as a vendor! -

Incredible experience working with The Little Garden Spot!
Deborah did an amazing job in turning our vision into a reality. From the very start, she was flexible and willing to meet with us as at the venue as often as we needed. She helped us think through all of the possibilities and stay within budget, while still executing our vision. On the day of the wedding, everything was seamless. Deborah and her team did an incredible job; all of the bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony displays were even more beautiful than we could have imagined. -

One of the things I was most excited about my daughter's wedding were the flowers. The flowers were simply spectacular, truly gorgeous and really set the vibe of the wedding. Deborah at The Little Garden Spot is not only creative, flexible, reasonably priced, and very responsive but she is a wonderful person to work with. Deborah has a great eye, attention to detail and thought of everything from wrapping the bridal bouquet with bride’s grandmother’s veil, arbor flowers, ceremony chairs flowers, cake flowers, reception flowers, down to the grandmothers’ corsages with strings of pearl bracelets. The grandmothers were thrilled. I trusted Deborah completely and the flowers were one thing I didn’t have to worry about on the big day. I can't thank Deborah enough for creating this special moment for us that we will remember for a lifetime. Thank you, thank you Deborah! I highly recommend her services without hesitation. Book her now! I just need to find another excuse to use her services again...... -

Gem of a Florist
Getting to work with Deborah at Little Garden Spot was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Her work is stunning and the experience with her was incredibly professional, yet highly personalized. From the very first call with her and throughout the planning process, she listened well, paid attention to detail, guided us/made expert suggestions, and was flexible. Communicating with Deborah was incredibly easy - she was very responsive and I feel like she never missed a detail. And most importantly, she made us feel so comfortable throughout the process and it felt like we were collaborating with a friend who was just as excited for the wedding as we were. Her work was absolutely stunning - we couldn't have been happier. Deborah created large urn pieces for the ceremony, bouquets, dinner table centerpieces, cocktail table arrangements, boutonnieres, corsages, and aisle decor for our wedding. We also sourced all of our candles through Deborah. She is truly a floral artist and exceeded all of our expectations. She has a beautiful eye for elegant design, from her selection of vases/centerpiece bowls to the design of her bouquets. She also included flowers that I am pretty sure were beyond our budget! We discussed a certain color palate and certain flower preferences, but the floral and candle arrangements were really her creative vision. I can't recommend Deborah enough - we feel so lucky that we were able to work with our for our wedding. -

No regrets Deborah is amazing!
Working with Deborah was the best part of my wedding! She is a creative genius and brought my vision to life to create the most beautiful venue and bouquets I've ever seen! We've had to postpone two years and throughout that time Deborah was incredibly responsive, flexible, and conscious of our budget. She met with me several times to discuss what we had in mind and how she could create the look we were going for. She helped us stay within our budget (which was very important to us) without it looking like we cut corners when it came to florals. Deborah only does one wedding per day so she can focus her time and energy into bringing your vision to life which was a huge draw for us, considering other florists do many weddings in the same weekend and little details sometimes get missed. Weeks later, my friends and family were still raving about how beautiful the venue and the flowers were. Guests were literally taking centerpieces off the tables at the end of the night to bring home and admiring them from home!
Deborah didn't skip a single detail either. We had corsages made for the grandmothers who were in wheelchairs so we wanted them to feel special. These corsages were next level with a bracelet made of strands of pearls. These beauties brought my grandmother to tears because she thought we specifically designed them to match her jewelry for the day. I can't thank Deborah enough for creating this special moment for us that I will remember for a lifetime. She thought of every little detail, including the ribbons wrapped around the bouquet which matched those used on our invitations and on signage at the ceremony. The florals were the star of the show and I couldn't be happier about it!
I think the best part about working with Deborah was Deborah herself. She is an incredibly thoughtful, kind, caring soul with an incredible sense of humor! Working so closely with such an amazing person took all the stress out of wedding planning even through 3 wedding dates. I am so grateful to have hired Deborah for my wedding and to have also gained a friend through the planning process! In the two years we have postponed she has also put together some of the most beautiful mothers day floral arrangements I have ever gifted. I have zero regrets hiring Deborah and neither will you! -

I found Deborah when searching for a florist in DC. I didn’t have a huge budget to spend on flowers, but I still wanted my flowers to look beautiful. When I messaged Deborah, she was helped me understand what she could create with my budget and what kind of flowers and greenery she could use. This was extremely helpful because I knew nothing about flowers. I gave her a vague idea of what I was looking for, let her take the reins and bring her vision to life and she knocked it out of the park! They were exactly what I was looking for! Hints of blue in the classic white flowers. It was perfect and our arbor flowers were able to be used for our head table. I was super excited about this because I didn’t use flowers as center pieces and was missing having flowers on our head table. If you are looking of a florist, book Deborah! She’s the best and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! -

Deborah was recommended to us from another vendor and I immediately fell in love with her natural style. I loved that each arrangement had a variety of flowers, colors, and greenery. Deborah was very sweet and easy to work with. I often changed my mind and she was quick and patient to offer a variety of options and ideas to choose from. I was set on doing florals in my hair instead of a veil and only give Deborah a few pictures and ideas to work from. She created the most beautiful hair piece that was also very sturdy and stayed in my hair all night. I loved all the flowers and sweet touches that Deborah added to our special day. Our sweetheart table was also beautiful and beyond what I mentioned. She added in bud vases which really made it special and unique! I could not recommend the little garden spot enough! -

Deborah was one of the best vendors we hired for our wedding day! From the beginning she listened to my vision and worked within our budget to make the florals I wanted come to life. She met with us in person, took time to come with us to see the venue, and designed the most beautiful arrangements for our wedding day. Wonderful to work with and Gorgeous Flowers!
Deborah was a complete joy to work with. She sat down with us and was able to take our color scheme and design absolutely beautiful flower arrangements. She was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process. On the wedding day she arrived to the venue early and ensured all the florals were setup way in advance of the start of the ceremony and had all the bouquets ready for pre-wedding photos. We are so happy with her service and floral arrangements! -

I hired Deborah to bring my daughter's floral vision to life for her October 30th wedding. Wow! We were thrilled with the results. Deborah was an absolute joy to work with!
I could not speak more highly of Deborah! She is so kind, easy to work with, and has an incredible eye for design. So many of the florists we looked at had price minimums that were alone above our budget, and Deborah was extremely flexible. For example, to help us cut costs, we repurposed bridesmaids bouquets as table centerpieces. She patiently answered all of my questions and hopped on the phone several times in the months leading up to talk about our vision, colors, and design. When we decided to nix an arbor and have flowers up a tree trunk instead, she was so excited, and ultimately created an arrangement that was more beautiful than I could've imagined. We also had a mixed Iranian-American wedding ceremony, and she kindly provided extra flowers for us to use on the altar table. She was truly a joy to work with from start to finish, and everything turned out so beautifully for our wedding. 10/10 recommend. Photos by Chelsea Diane Photography. -

Our wedding was initially planned for May 2020 but postponed to December 2020 due to the pandemic and Deborah and The Little Garden Spot was with us every step of the way. For the original date, Deborah was the perfect person to bounce decor ideas off of; she was communicative, patient, and very creative. We did not hire a wedding planner so Deborah took charge of conceptualizing the style of wedding that we were going for (romantic & classy). When the wedding was postponed, Deborah was calm, encouraging, enthusiastic and flexible (all the things you need when you are mourning the loss of the original wedding plan). She was compassionate, kept me grounded, and helped to re-think our style as we now had a winter wedding date. She continued to be extremely patient as plans continued to change (welcome to wedding planning during a pandemic) and she remained extremely responsive to communication. She also helped to edit the design to maximize our budget.
On the wedding day, the flowers, bouquets, centerpieces, and greenery draping absolutely blew me away. Every where I looked was warm, beautiful, well thought out and just perfectly executed. It was clear Deborah poured her heart and soul into helping us to have the wedding of our dreams. I am forever grateful for her and would highly recommend her to anyone -

Best Wedding Flowers EVER!
Let me start with saying that the first tears I cried on my wedding day were when Deborah walked in with my bouquet! I cannot recommend Little Garden Spot enough, from the first day we met until the wedding day and everything in between, Deborah made our planning experience not only easy, but enjoyable (which I can't say for a lot of other aspects of the planning process).
I don't have a lot of background on flowers and what works best for standing up in bouquets and table arrangements, but I didn’t have to worry about it with Deborah. Not only does she have the knowledge of what will look best and last throughout your wedding day (my bouquet went through a LOT and held up the entire day), but she has a knack for knowing what you are looking for without you saying it. Every suggestion she made went above and beyond what I had imagined, and her actual delivery even exceeded the original concepts. I probably only showed her 2-3 inspiration pictures from pinterest, and she created arrangements for me that I couldn’t even dream of.
On top of all of the above, Deborah is someone we could trust. It’s one thing to find someone to work with who has a vision and is creative, but can you also rely on that person to show up to your venue on time and bring everything you discussed in meetings prior? Deborah absolutely can. She followed through on every promise, she was there with helpful suggestions, was never late to a meeting or call, and made sure every base was covered. She was honest when I was looking at ideas or concepts that weren’t realistic for my venue, and when I had to go different directions than I had originally planned, she had suggestions and ideas ready. She even was there on our wedding day to hand deliver my bouquet, and set all of our arrangements in place.
I know there can be a ton of information and vendor overload when you are just starting your search, but please don’t look any farther than Little Garden Spot, working with Deborah was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Thank you so much Deborah, we can’t sing your praises enough!

For starters, Deborah is a delight to work with. She invited us to her home to preview flowers and talk through our vision. What I loved most as a bride with a million decisions to make for the wedding, was that Deborah took out some of the decision making process for us. She considers herself a floral artist and takes those creative liberties with flowers. We gave her our color scheme and sent along ideas of what we liked from pinterest but didn't have to make a decision beyond that - which was PERFECT.
The most stunning part of the day was the gorgeous tree arch she custom made for our ceremony site. Deborah shared that this was her first floral arch for a tree and boy did she blow it out of the water. I was absolutely stunned when I walked up to the alter and so this massive trail of flowers and greenery from the large tree branch that cascaded down onto the site (see picture!). It was absolutely stunning.
All in all, Deborah is fantastic and would highly recommend her if you are the type of couple who enjoys trusting your vendors to create a magical experience for you all! -

Deborah's flowers for our wedding were absolutely stunning and she went above and beyond our expectations. Deborah responded to all emails very quickly and it was very easy to work with her. She listened to what I wanted and even went through my Pinterest board so she could get a sense of my wedding style. She was kind enough to drive out to Annapolis to meet us at the venue to get a general sense of the layout. We gave her a vague idea of wanting fall colors with sunflowers and she was able to create beautiful bouquets and center pieces that were full of colors and textures. I had never seen some of the flowers she used and could not get over how beautiful the flowers looked. My husband wanted a colorful boutonniere and it was not only beautiful but smelled amazing as well. I asked Deborah to make a flower hair comb, but I couldn't decide whether I wanted colorful flowers or baby's breath. She surprised me and made both, which was perfect and allowed me to change my mind at the last minute. We highly recommend Deborah and were absolutely thrilled with her work! -

Deborah was fantastic to work with. My daughter got married in November surrounded by fall color. She knew how to take our vision and weave it into a beautiful decorated arbor, table arrangements, bouquets, and accent flower arrangements which decorated our venue. It's easy to tell that Deborah loves what she does. She's kind, easy to work with, flexible and is great about setting and maintaining a budget.
