Wonderful from start to finish!

We are so happy we chose The Links at Gettysburg for our wedding in October 2022. From the very beginning, working with Allysa and her team was easy. She worked with us every step of the way, from our tasting to our decor and layout. She answered all our questions and was so flexible, especially at it came closer to the date. The venue is also gorgeous and has several onsite locations for gorgeous pictures. The golf cart ride was one of the best parts! We wanted a place that had everything and would make it less stressful and The Links certainly met that mark and then some - all for a reasonable price. We have no regrets and that you for making our wedding day so special!

I couldn’t ask for more

From the moment we inquired about The Links until we got in our car and left on our wedding night we were surrounded by an amazing team! Our wedding day was perfect thanks to our venue and team of vendors. We had so many compliments on our venue, from the stunning scenery, to the energetic staff, to the amazing food. I could never say enough good things about The Links at Gettysburg. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would forever choose this venue!

Excellent Service

August 19th I had a “Garden Party” for my Garden Club. I required a room for 30 peoples and a lite lunch…drinks, salad, sandwiches, dessert and a projector and screen for my speakers power point. I choose the Links at Gettysburg. Allysa (the event coordinator) helped me immensely throughout the whole three months planning process. She first went through two projectors and a screen trying to get a sharp projection for my guests presentation. She and Gavin ( the general manager) thought they could do better and they brought in a TV screen to give the presentation a very professional vivid look. Allysa also arranged chairs for the Ladies to not only see the screen, but be socially distanced because of Covid. The weather was sunny, the outside view was beautiful from the room. Allysa and her waitstaff magically set up elegant tables, prepared a delicious buffet and Allysa herself served us our dessert. Allysa was easy, patient and fun to work with and definitely made the day less stressful. She even provided a limo-golf cart for my husband to transport the guest. My event was a success. At the end of the day my guest said they didn’t worry about the virus and had a lovely time. Thank You Allysa and the staff at the Links.

Maureen is amazing

We had our wedding scheduled at The Links for 10/31/20 after being cancelled abruptly by the Gettysburg Hotel. Maureen (the event coordinator) was so sweet and helpful as she knew we were already stressed out! She had a checklist of everything we needed to get done all ready for us. Due to COVID-19 WE did have to cancel our wedding at The Links because of the restrictions on the amount of guests. I was really sad it didn't work out...... However, The Links gave us a full refund even though we were the ones to cancel.
The packages for food was reasonably priced and all the options looked so good! On top of that the caterers were very flexible with what we wanted. The area where the outdoor ceremony could be held was beautiful overlooking the golf course. Another nice thing was that there is also a space for an indoor ceremony if it were to rain.
I was very sad that we couldn't move forward with this venue. The pictures and atmosphere would have been amazing.

We worked closely with the lovely Karen Pennington as our Wedding Coordinator at The Links. She did such a wonderful job accommodating our needs, especially on a lower budget. She was extremely helpful in every step of the planning process (especially for a couple who had very little idea of what they were doing). She managed to keep us on track, giving us deadlines for when we needed certain things done and prioritized tasks for us in a timely manner. This was super helpful for us! She was also super patient when we were indecisive with our food menu. Not only that, but her personal touches were so sweet, such as sending us a memorable gift from the evening, along with an awesome SnapChat timeline with our own GeoTag. She even looked up the times of the sunset on our wedding day so we would have beautiful sunset pictures (which turned out amazing by the way; the golf course is the perfect romantic back drop!) Thank you so much Karen for your kindness, patience, and willingness to serve others. We are so grateful God put you in our lives! (Literally, because we wouldn't have met each other without you)

As for the venue and rest of the staff, the team was absolutely amazing!! They were so kind and so professional! Shout out to Bailey Buttner for taking additional photos for us and the Snapchat! The venue itself is so beautiful and really needs limited decorations which we loved because it was less on us to worry about.

The Links is a beautiful venue, and all of the staff members, from the golf cart driver, bartenders, waitstaff and venue team are amazing and professional. There are so many different options and they work with you to customize everything. Karen is absolutly amazing, she is literally the best. She made the entire process so easy and non-stressful, and I'm fairly sure she even managed to make the weather cooperate. She even dealt with our uncooperative shuttle driver so we didn't have too, and followed up after the wedding as well. We would absolutly recomend the Links to anyone searching for a venue.

My Son was married at the Links in July. It is a beautiful setting. The venue is the best in Gettysburg. Karen, the manager, could not have been more accommodating. ANY question we asked was answered. We had special diets, no problem for the Links team. Service was outstanding. Staff refilled drinks without asking. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was wonderful. The ceremony went off flawlessly, due to the wonderful rehearsal we had at the Links. The weather was in the 90's and the Links made sure that there were water stations for the guests. Karen and her team went about and beyond.

Our daughter was just married June 9, 2018. We can’t thank Karen and the staff enough! The service and food were excellent and the grounds, beautiful! We are still hearing from family and friends about how perfect everything was. The plated food was served quickly, efficiently, and hot which is almost unheard of when serving a large group. Food allergies were addressed and everyone was impressed. This venue and the staff have provided us with a beautiful memory that I know we will treasure! I don't even know how to describe how incredible our day was. We selected the Links about a year and half before our wedding date. From the very moment we pulled into the parking lot we knew it was where we would be married. It just continued to get better. We had a switch in coordinators about half way through but getting Karen was the best thing that EVER happened. Her attention to detail was fantastic! Every concern I could come up with she had an answer/solution. Her excitement for her job shines every time you have contact with her. Texts, emails and phone calls --- she was ALWAYS available.

The actual "day of" was so amazing, I am still coming down from the high of the whole day. She booked our shuttle from the venue/hotels. The food was TO DIE FOR. I don't think anyone had a single bad thing to say. Thank god I loved it, cuz Karen packs up TONS of food for you to go home with.

The wait staff and bartenders were so sweet and so attentive. My family felt like they were taken care of the entire time.

Price is just right and Karen will work with any budget you have. She really makes everything work out.

We just had our son's wedding reception at the Links. Karen was wonderful to work with and very helpful. Our guests loved the food, the venue decor and the beautiful landscape that surrounds this property. We could not have been more pleased.

Everyone was very helpful! They made our dreams come true. Everything we wanted they made happen, definitely a beautiful place to get married. The views were amazing. Would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends.

The links was an amazing place to have our wedding. Everything seemed perfect and our guests had no complaints. They commented on how beautiful the venue was and how great the food was. The links has packages that I think can fit just about anyone’s budget so I highly recommend!

Karen and all of the staff at the Links were nothing short of amazing. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to the whole crew. Our wedding day was even running a little late, and they all were so accommodating and gracious enough to extend us an extra half hr. Have your wedding day here, and you will not regret it!

We were just married at the Links on October 7th and I cannot give enough kudos to the staff at this venue! Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had the best day possible and we're still getting messages from guests about the food, setting and service. Our first experience with The Links was as a guest at our niece's wedding in December, 2015. The place was gorgeous and we were impressed with the quality of the food and floor layout. When our daughter got engaged shortly after, she had already decided that she wanted her reception at The Links. It was a perfect June day and The Links made her special day one that we will remember and talk about for years to come. Karen and her staff were wonderful, the food was excellent, and the chef went out of his way to accommodate our requests. We loved that we could move from indoors to outdoors at leisure and had ample space for guests to mix and mingle. I give this facility a full 5 stars and highly recommend it!

The Links at Gettysburg is amazing! Its beautiful, the staff is amazing, and its convenient. You get to pick the "package" that best fits your needs and can be customized. The packages include food, alcohol, cakes, décor, etc. You also get a day of coordinator who helps you every step of the way; from the time you book the venue to your wedding day. We had Karen and she was absolutely amazing! She answered all my questions and really went above and beyond to make our day memorable and perfect. I cannot recommend her or the venue enough!

I recommend this place, hands down. From the beginning of our first visit until we ran out to the car through a barrage of bubbles, Allysa was on point. She made sure every detail was covered and we wanted for nothing. All the questions and worries we had she quickly spelled away with great advice and real life answers, there was no beating around the bush or 50/50 responses, she made great recommendations for vendors and helped keep me on a timeline. I can not praise her enough for her flexibility when it comes to scheduling tastings and planning meetings to reorganize everything,

The staff on our wedding day was also wonderful, because we had a shorter wedding (11am-3pm) the lovely ladies passing Hors d'oeuvres made sure to come find me so I could try everything during the cocktail hour. The food was served quickly and in a great order so everyone got to eat while toasts and first dances took place. We had a lovely prime rib and chicken marsala, I have heard nothing but rave reviews from all my family. Also props to the bar, what is a wedding without a few silly intoxicated family member running about!

The grounds and facility are kept extremely neat and clean and I can honestly say that this day was the bet day of my life. Thanks to the Links at Gettysburg staff for helping making it memorable and so beautiful.

We LOVED our wedding at the Links. It was seriously the best day of our entire lives and the staff at the Links made it so easy. From our first meeting to the night of the wedding, every single base was covered. Our coordinator Allysa was so helpful and always really responsive. She made it seem like we were the only couple she was working with. The Links really has it down to a science and it was also great that they provided a list of vendors they recommended. We chose our vendors from their list, and it was helpful because the vendors also work at the Links a lot. It really makes a difference when your venue has a great relationship with the other vendors you’ve chosen. We got so many compliments on our venue, on everything from the food to the scenery. Every single thing about our wedding was perfect and we are so glad we chose the Links for our special day!!

I cannot praise The Links staff enough! Our wedding coordinator for this venue, Allysa, was AWESOME. She was professional, genuine, and knowledgeable. She responded to any and every question I had quickly and thoroughly. The venue itself is just gorgeous with options for an outdoor or indoor ceremony; including a patio that overlooks gorgeous golf greens. Our photography sites were amazing- under a willow tree, beside a waterfall, on the greens, and on the bridge. The staff who catered our night were wonderful, kind, and happy to be with us! When we arrived at The Links following our ceremony (which was elsewhere), the staff greeted us with food/drinks. Allysa coordinated everything perfectly with our DJ, photographer, cake decorator, and florist so that I literally did not have to worry about any of that. Everyone had the same schedule of times and was on the same page. The food was excellent; our guests continue to talk about it! Not to mention, the varieties they have appease any appetite. For the price you pay, this venue included and was everything we could have ever wanted for our day. I highly recommend it!

Great Venue, Great Staff! The Links is a wonderful place to get married, we had both our ceremony and reception there. Once we saw the venue we were instantly sold! We worked with Suzanne Thompson, who was amazing. I cannot put into words how helpful she was! We did not really know where to start with the wedding planning process, she helped us from beginning to end! She ensured we were on track with planning, thought of every little detail we would never have thought about and ensured the whole event went smoothly. Our wedding was even better than I had ever imagined it could be. Everything came together beautifully and I did not need to worry about a thing because I knew we were in good hands. Everything was beyond beautiful, from the nature, to the reception hall, the food was great, bar service...everything! Thank You to the Links and Suzanne for making our dream wedding reality!

Allysa was AMAZING! My husband and I live on the west coast but are originally from the east coast and Allysa was very flexible and was there for us whenever we had a question or needed something. The Links at Gettysburg is a beautiful venue and we wouldn't have changed anything.

We were married at The Links three weeks ago and had a more perfect day than we could have ever imagined! Suzanne Thompson was THE BEST coordinator and planner who kept us updated on every little detail in order to make our day flawless. The wedding stayed on track with timing and everything moved smoothly, from the flowers, to the DJ, photobooth, lighting, cake, food, and more. We were planning to have an outdoor wedding because The Links is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous in the springtime, however, Mother Nature did not cooperate. We experienced a torrential downpour the entire day and I was initially upset to have to have the ceremony indoors. When my bridesmaids and I arrived, I was stunned! The indoor ceremony area was absolutely stunning! Looking back now, I'm almost glad that it rained and we were inside because it truly was remarkable! Suzanne was able to handle every little detail and make the day completely stress free for my family and I. She handled everything with poise and an authentic smile :) Our guests had an awesome time and we're still receiving compliments on the food! Everything about the day was absolutely perfect, even when the weather forced us to change some initial plans. I would highly recommend The Links to any perspective couple! If you want a flawless, stress free wedding process and wedding day, The Links is the place for you!

The Links was our very first choice for our ceremony and reception as soon as we walked through the doors. The views and photo opportunities here are amazing and the staff works extremely hard to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. The options for linens and decor are extensive and the menu and package options give you personalized choices to build your special day. Our guests loved the food as well as the signature drinks at the bar and all of the options for our cocktail hour. Suzanne Thompson was our wedding coordinator and we couldn't have been more pleased with her services. She gave us a ton of advice backed by her experience that helped us make sure everything looked the way we wanted it to. She makes sure every little detail is perfect and that nothing is missed. She kept us on track with her timeline and we still had plenty of time to enjoy our day, which is the hardest part of the process. We would recommend this venue to anyone who is planning a wedding!

I couldn't imagine having our wedding at any other location that at the Links at Gettysburg. Our day was absolutely perfect! The venue is BEAUTIFUL, you get the best of both worlds at this venue. Our ceremony was outdoor overlooking the beautiful golf course and our reception was held inside in the beautiful venue option. The golf carts for the bride & groom and the bridal party were an absolute hit. Alyssa Stoops was our wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond in all aspects of our wedding to make it absolutely perfect. Alyssa makes the bride and groom her top priority and works with you through the entire planning process to make your dreams become a reality. I cannot say enough about Alyssa! The Links at Gettysburg is a gorgeous location to hold a wedding/reception and the staff is amazing. Even before we decided on The Links, our wedding coordinator, Suzanne, was incredibly informative and a pleasure to meet. After seeing the grounds and talking with Suzanne, there was no question. We would have our reception at The Links.

I am detail oriented and tend to worry too much on the smallest of details. Suzanne is meticulous and very thorough and I never once had a doubt that I couldn't trust her to make sure everything was perfect on our wedding day. She was willing to meet as many times as I needed, answered all of my emails quickly and made sure to set up everything the way we had discussed. She even took pictures after everything was set up so I could see how beautiful everything looked (my ceremony was at a different location). Suzanne was there the entire reception to make sure I was taken care of and everything went according to our plan. She was even there to save the day when I dropped food on my dress.

You won't be disappointed with a wedding at The Links. Absolutely amazing location and staff!

The Links at Gettysburg was the first wedding venue we went to look at and we knew from the moment we walked in the door that this was the place to have our wedding. We worked with Suzanne Thompson in coordinating our wedding and she was wonderful! Very prompt in answering our questions, professional, organized and personable. She is very talented in what she does. I felt like I did not have to worry about anything that day because I knew she would be on top of things. The venue was absolutely beautiful and makes for great pictures! We also liked that the indoor ceremony option was just as beautiful as the outdoor ceremony option. The staff was courteous as well and the food was delicious! We highly recommend this venue to other couples for their wedding day!

We could go on and on about how amazing our wedding and reception were at The Links at Gettysburg !! They were exceptional, both the venue and the staff, not to mention the food !! The links is a great vendor I was referred to them by a friend who also was pleased with the care and time they put into each wedding. From the endless notes they take to make sure your day is perfect to the wonderful complimentary food tasting from their in house catering the links does it all. Highly recommended worth a stop just to see what you think

The Links at Gettysburg was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. From our initial meeting through our special day the staff especially our coordinator Suzanne Thompson were extremely helpful, accommodating, and caring. Even with the potential of inclement weather she listened to our concerns and put a positive spin on everything. She and her staff performed their duties with the utmost professionalism while always making us feel as ease, reassuring us that everything would work out. For this we are extremely grateful and wouldn't have changed one thing.
The venue grounds on a blustery November day were still very picturesque providing many locations and opportunities for memorable photo options. This facility could meet many bride standards in one simply but yet elegant location.

Suzanne and the staff at the Links at Gettysburg were an amazing team to work with from the early stages of the planning process through our wedding day. Suzanne was always available to us as we planned our wedding and ceremony, responded to our questions in a reasonable time frame and had a wealth of knowledge on local vendors. Our wedding day came together flawlessly and we couldn't be happier with the attention and the service we received. From setting up all of our decorations to packing up our meals and appetizers we didn't get to eat at the end of the night, Suzanne made everything so stress-free. And on your wedding day - that means the world.
In addition to the outstanding service, the venue is beautiful inside and out and while we were very thankful that we had a nice day for an outdoor ceremony, we knew the indoor space would have worked really well for us that day if the weather had not cooperated.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Links. The venue was wonderful. We had a beautiful ceremony outside and Suzanne, our wedding coordinator, made sure that everything was set up the way we want to on the inside. Food was phenomenal. I had guests come up and tell me that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Suzanne was on top of everything and I didn't have to worry about anything with the wedding planning. It went really smooth.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! The first time I toured with my now husband, we knew that this was the place that we wanted to get married. The inside is very elegant and the food is absolutely delicious. We chose the have our ceremony outside and luckily it didn't rain. You have a choice to have it either outside or inside (where there's a nice fireplace) depending on what you decide. The view is gorgeous! When you are out on the balcony for the ceremony, it overlooks a golf course and a waterfall. The stone patio with wrought iron tables and chairs adds elegance to an evening wedding.

There's plenty of space for a large amount of guests (we had around 160) and the tables are big enough to seat 8 comfortably. The bar is nice too- they offer a lot of options and the bartender was great. The only slight complaint that I have is that the dance floor is halfway in between the room where the reception is - it splits up two sides of the room. This made it difficult to talk to others on the other side of the room because you had to walk through the dance floor where people were dancing. In a way this worked out well for us because my husband's family was able to be seated on one side of the dance floor and my family was on the other.

Allysa was the best wedding coordinator a bride could ask for. I can't thank her enough! She was so efficient- you could tell she knew what she was doing, but at the same time friendly and just as excited for you as you are that you're getting married. From the beginning she was very responsive to my emails and calls and was open to any suggestions I had to making our day so very special. She had a schedule which her and I coordinated together and that helped the night go by so smoothly - which is important when you have so many guests to entertain. At the end of the night her and her staff were efficient and quick at cleaning up, and we managed to get everything out within half an hour! I would recommend picking her!

We worked with Alyssa and she was just AMAZING! I could call her up when I had a "stupid question" and just wanted to double check some things. She was an easy person to work with and helped us come up with some great ideas to just help make our wedding day that much more special. She even made us up a dinner plate so that we didn't have to get into line and could have those few more minutes dancing, just the 2 of us. The site is amazing and well worth the price! It's in the middle of country but once you get there and see the view, the off the beaten track drive will have been well worth it. Everyone who attended the wedding said they thought it was gorgeous and just loved how friendly and helpful everyone was.

Suzanne was incredible and made the whole entire process enjoyable. There wasn't anything we asked her to do that she couldn't and even when she was off work or on vacation she never took more than 24 hours to respond to an email or phone call. The day of the event she made both of our families feel at ease and managed to make sure everything went off without a hitch. You can tell she truly loves what she does and has been doing it for many, many years. She made my day absolutely perfect and I can't imagine having going through the process without her. She also recommended some of the greatest vendors outside of the venue to work with.

My son had his wedding at the Links just this past Saturday (July 5, 2014) and I am still in awe of how it turned out. Allysa Stoops was the wedding coordinator and my son, daughter in law and entire family on both sides can't rave enough about Allysa and the entire staff. From the moment my son and daughter in law met with her they felt at ease. In fact they had one other venue to look at but decided to go with the Links to make sure they got the date! Allysa guided them in every aspect of the wedding.....even keeping them informed of the PA laws regarding the marriage license. Questions were answered quickly and she put everyone at ease.
The décor was awesome.....all the guests couldn't believe how beautiful, warm and elegant the wedding was. The calmness of the entire staff was a comfort to the wedding party. Even at the last minute (the night before the wedding) when the groom had three people cancel because of sickness and Alllysa was notified she took care of making sure the tables were changed to the correct seating. The night of the wedding went so smooth and every staff member was most helpful...a true pleasure to work with.
I can't say enough wonderful comments about the Links....no better place to have a wedding!!!!

Suzanne is a true professional. Excellent communication from the moment we met right through the wedding one year later. Suzanne explained how the planning would be handled. She gave us suggestions and also listened to what we wanted to have happen. She accommodated us in every way possible. Every call, email, text and visit to the facility was answered promptly. My experience with the Links was great. I had been to a wedding here about 6 years ago and loved it. When it was time for me to get married, Dennis and I went here. We both loved it! Its a beautiful venue inside and out. Suzanne was my wedding coordinator. She was always friendly, willing to answer any questions promptly, flexible, and very professional. Additionally, the staff was very professional and friendly as well! At one of our meetings, the chef was baking cookies and brought us out a couple, which I couldn't pass up. :-) Moving on, the food was delicious! We had the salmon and blackened chicken for our entrée choices, and we selected several appetizers that we very tasty too! In addition, the facility was very clean inside and outside. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained!

As the father of the bride, was involved in all aspects of my daughter's wedding and it couldn't have gone better. At least 50 people came up to me at the end of the evening to tell me that it was the best wedding they have ever attended! And it is all thanks to the coordinator, Suzanne Thompson, and The Links staff. Every aspect was amazing and because of about 45 minutes of rain Suzanne shuffled some activities around which worked out perfectly. Their vendors are incredible, from the cake, DJ, photographers, to the fireworks vendor which capped off a perfect evening. And I thought the food was of a gourmet level, everything was delicous. We are so thrilled that we selected The Links and would highly recommend them to everyone.

I wish I could give Suzanne Thompson and The Links at Gettysburg 10 stars. The venue is gorgeous, the food was outstanding and Suzanne is just awesome to work with. The wedding truly exceeded our expectations. We had guests from 3 countries and everyone commented on how wonderful everything was at the Links. Due to the weather the venue for the ceremony had to be moved inside. This was done flawlessly by the staff and even though we had wanted an outdoor ceremony the inside venue by the stone fireplace was equally as beautiful and intimate. I would highly recommend using the Links and Suzanne Thompson for your wedding.

Our wedding at the Links at Gettysburg was worth every penny. My husband and I were initially living in NY when we started planning and then moved to VT 7 months before the wedding. This made planning a little trickier due to our distance, but Suzanne was always accommodating and available by phone and email during the entire process. Suzanne is awesome at her job!!! I can say I was practically stress-free in the days leading up to the wedding (minus the packing and traveling). Suzanne is a perfectionist and reliable. On our wedding day she even emailed me that morning saying what a wonderful day and beautiful weather we were going to have. Even on her days off if I emailed Suzanne she would always get back to me and let me know when she would be back in the office. I highly recommend the Links at Gettysburg and their awesome staff!! We received many compliments from guests about what a perfect wedding we had :)

The Links at Gettysburg is a great venue overlooking a golf course...plenty of room for what we needed--fresh, clean, and quietly elegant. Event planner Suzanne Thompson certainly was efficient, friendly, and accommodating to our changing needs...even at the last minute. As a non-profit hosting an event to honor donors, we chose hors d'oeuvres and dessert; the food was excellent as was the service.

Our wedding reception was great. We worked with Suzanne and she was very organized and on top of every single detail throughout the planning and during our reception night making sure that we and our guests could enjoy the night. She is very friendly, organized, and professional (even our vendors complimented her).

The Links at Gettysburg provides different event options according to your budget. We took one of the inclusive packages (food, cake, open bar) and were extremely pleased. The food was prepared by chef George, and the cake made by Karen Rodkey and all was delicious and complemented by and excellent service from the venue's staff that night. The location and the views from the Links at Gettysburg are truly amazing. We've got beautiful wedding photos and lots of compliments from our guests.

I can't say enough about the food at The Links. George is an AMAZING chef and was so friendly, too. Our tasting was wonderful, although we had a hard time choosing because everything was so good! We left the tasting stuffed and anticipating our wedding day, knowing how much our guests would enjoy the food. The Links also cooked for our rehearsal dinner and my bridal party just raved about how delicious everything was...and affordable, too. The wedding food was included in the package and you seriously could not eat a better meal at the fanciest restaurant you could find. Our wedding guests gushed about the food, some even saying they wish they could have taken extras home. Seriously delish and I would eat there again and again if I could!

The venue is beautiful for any event! Our wedding could not have been more smooth with the flow of the building and the help of the outstanding staff! Everyone is friendly and makes you feel like you do not have a care in the world because they take care if everything. Suzanne and the other event staff are worth booking here just for their service! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! This is definitely the place to have your wedding (or any event) in the Gettysburg area. From the moment I stepped in the building I knew I would have my wedding here. It is absolutely gorgeous and the scenery is amazing! Suzanne and her team worked wonders and kept me on track the entire planning process. I was so calm the entire time, even the week of thanks to Suzanne and her skills! Whatever I needed, she had an answer or plan. Not only is the venue gorgeous, the food is amazing! I got so many compliments on how wonderful the whole day was. The staff is friendly, prompt, and can't even tell they are there but they do what they need to make you shine! We had our wedding reception at the Links and it was truly amazing. We were so blessed to have worked with Suzanne - she was very patient, helpful, and quick to respond with ALL of the questions and concerns my mom and I had throughout the whole planning process. The food turned out great and the whole night was so much fun.

The Links was gorgeous - I got so many compliments on what a beautiful venue it was. I was concerned at first that the dance floor would be too small for our large wedding, but it was perfect - such a great party! I would highly recommend this place.

If you are looking for an elegant wedding location, you are crazy if you don't pick The Links. Not only is it a beautiful location, but they did everything possible to make it a stress free wedding. We had Allysa as our wedding coordinator. She was amazing and literally handles everything you need. She made the experience fun. I spent my time focusing on getting married, she took care of the details. The Links is also worth every penny you spend there. They do not nickel and dime you to death for everything. They take an "all inclusive" approach where you can pick which package is right for your wallet without having to worry about hidden costs. Even at the lowest package your cake, ceremony location, and champagne toast are included. In addition, no other events are going on at the same time as yours, so it's very private. The food is amazing. It doesn't matter what you choose, you will not be disappointed. My guests raved about the food and the location and said it was the best wedding they have been to!
This is the location photographers will love as well. There are many great places on the grounds to get gorgeous pictures.

My husband and I decided to get married shortly after our engagement. We were lucky to find The Links at Gettysburg and to work with Suzanne. Thanks to her, we were able to plan an absolutely beautiful wedding within 3 months. She took a lot of the coordination off of our hands and helped us stay on top of the details in a way that was professional, non-intrusive, and perhaps most importantly, calm. She really made us feel confident in our decisions but offered solid advice if we asked. I would highly recommend this venue and working with Suzanne for any wedding.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Suzanne Thompson for my daughters wedding in 2007. I have since tried to return to The Links at Gettysburg as often as possible. Our family travels there for the wonderful Easter Brunch yearly. I work with senior citizens and we have been able to travel to Gettysburg to The Links for luncheons on more than one occasion. The staff is so pleasant and professional and makes everyone feel welcome. I would highly recommend The Links at Gettysburg for a fabulous experience.

Alyssa and the staff at the Links were amazing. Our day was wonderful and worry free because of them. We had guest cancel days before and they were able to make it right with us. Then the day of the wedding I had a family of 4 just show up....No, problems they just added seats. They were so flexible and easy to work with. The location is beautiful and George the chef did an fantastic job with the food. I could not have asked for better!!

I cannot begin to describe how beautiful our wedding day was... even the day of our rehearsal! Our rehearsal on Friday was so organized thanks to our wedding coordinator Suzanne Thompson. We were in and out within 30 minutes! The day of our wedding went just as planned with no hiccups to slow us down. The Links "preferred vendors" that we used were also a huge reason why our day was perfect! They were so organized and kept us on track! Suzanne had the room all set up for when we arrived two hours before the event to get ready, it was more than what I even had dreamed of up until that day! Our cheese, fruit, and crackers with the champagne were waiting for us in our dressing room! Everything from the food, drinks, up lighting, cake, flowers, centerpieces all pulled together beautifully thanks to Suzanne's suggestions! Our friends and family are still raving about how wonderful our day was, and it was by far the best wedding they had ever attended. People probably thought by looking at everything we spent well over $30,000, when in actuality for 140 guest we kept it under $13,000 including the venue, ceremony, hors d'oeuvres, full bar with alcohol soda and hot tea, cake, wedding coordinator, linens, sales tax and gratuity. We highly recommend everyone to consider The Links At Gettysburg, it is worth every penny!!!!!!!!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Suzanne and her team were during this whole process. She was incredibly responsive, and flexible to our needs. She was able to work with our incredibly busy schedules, and meet with us when we were available. As someone with a true Type A personality, she put me at ease, and made sure everything I wanted was there and perfect on our wedding day. She even contacts all of the other vendors in the week before the wedding to make sure they know what is going on. Thank you to Suzanne and her team for allowing us to start our marriage in such a spectacular fashion!

This venue is the best. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. I got many compliments from guests. Amanda is the best coordinator. So very wonderful. I got married at the Links at Gettysburg on January 9th, 2011. We had an indoor ceremony and it was absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious, the cake was wonderful, the staff was polite and helpful. We could not have survived without Amanda, our day of coordinator. Everything ran smoothly and there was no lapse or awkward moments. We were taken care of and kept up to date on everything. They were also very accommodating when it came to switching things up at the last minute, measurement needs, everything.
Get married here! It's totally worth every penny!

If you are looking for first class service, The Links at Gettysburg is the place to go. I am originally from the MD area and knew of the Links because of golf. I had been to Links before, and had it in the back of my mind that that is where I would want my reception, but my husband had never seen it. After visiting many different venues, he too was blown away by the Links. After talking prices over with my parents, we booked. My husband and I live in VA so while we were planning, there was 200 miles between us and our wedding vendors. From the get-go, Amanda and Suzanne made those 200 miles seem invisible. They were so prompt and paid so much attention to the details that planning our reception seemed so easy. Our tasting was exceptional, George Keeney (the chef) is extremely talented in both taste and presentation. The Links was also the location for our fun cook out style Rehearsal dinner the night beofre our wedding in the community building. The rehearsal dinner was fabulous (delicious food) and fun-loving, just like we wanted.

When we walked into the room on our wedding day, it brought tears to my eyes. The room was magnificent, and not one corner of the room was missing a detail. The flowers were perfectly placed around the room, the tables looked so elegant, and every detail we had discussed was there and more. I truly was blown away and recieved compliments from guests all night long about how it was the most beautiful wedding that they had ever been to. All of the food was excellent and there was plenty for our guests to enjoy. They even paked all of the things we had brought to the reception up neatly so that when my parents picked it all up on Sunday, it was hassle free. I would highly recommend The Links to any Bride and Groom. I sincerely feel like they made the wedding of our dreams come true!!

I LOVED my venue! The whole staff was wonderful! I worked closely with one woman, who unfortuantally is no closer there! They did everything in the power to make sure my day went perfect! Anytime I had questions they got back to me right away. They were very flexiable letting me pick and choose from various packages to make sure I had just want I wanted. They took a lot of the stress out of my big day!!

My husband and I selected the Links as our wedding venue after looking at several venues in MD and PA. We found that the Links gave us everything we wanted... outdoor ceremony, beautiful grounds for pictures, indoor reception, enough space for the amount of guests that we wanted to invite, and close proximity to the hotels in the area. We booked the venue a year and a half prior to our wedding date. Unfortunately, we had some changes in wedding coordinators throughout the wedding planning, but Karen and Christina came along a few months before our wedding day and alleviated all of our concerns. Karen instantly bonded with our family, especially with her love for champagne and champagne glasses :) Even though Karen was new to the wedding planning process at the Links (she has years of experience in wedding planning), she made my family and I feel much better about our wedding. I truly believe that Karen and Christina are here to stay. They are making much needed changes to the venue that I think all future couples will appreciate. I am very detail oriented and Karen made sure all of the details of our wedding were sorted out before the big day. She even sent my husband and I home with food from the wedding! She did everything possible to make sure my family and I were not stressed the day of the wedding. She sent us pictures of the wedding decorations the morning of the wedding, and even made last minute changes to my bridal party's transportation after my hair/makeup ran an hour late. Once we were at the venue, Karen took care of the bridal party, our families, and all of our guests. There were some hiccups on the wedding day (as expected with any wedding), but Karen handled them all like a pro. I am very happy that we selected the Links as our wedding venue. Our day was everything that we could ever imagine. Thank you Karen and Christina for making our wedding day so special. P.S. Make sure you take pictures under the willow tree and in front of the waterfall!!

Loved our day

We had our wedding at the Links in 2018 and people still talk about how much they loved our day. The venue is beautiful, there are so many great locations for pictures. The food was amazing, the portions were great and it was all served freshly made and still hot. I appreciated how much effort everyone put in to making our day run smoothly, including how well our coordinator worked with our outside vendors. I felt relief in having someone do all the details, including a schedule, so I knew everything was taken care of and would go off without a hitch. We did have one bartender (only one, out of the many people working) who was not the most friendly to our guest, but our coordinator immediately removed her from the bar and adjusted her staffing so everything was covered.

Wonderful Views

The Links at Gettysburg's Clubhouse is a great place for a wedding - we originally wanted to get married outside, but due to the heat had to move indoors. Karen and her team worked wonders to get everything rearranged in time, and yet not make it look like that hadn't been the plan from the beginning.

I couldn't imagine Our Day anywhere else...

Beyond this being a beautiful scenic venue (especially for the fall colors), the staff that works here truly makes hosting an event at the Links at Gettysburg such an exceptional experience. I started my journey with wedding planning in December of 2016 for our wedding in October of 2018 - in that time period we went through 3 day-of wedding coordinators. Albeit, not originally ideal when I started planning, but I will say I am extremely grateful for Billy Jo stepping in as our final day-of coordinator in the last two months prior to our wedding date. Billy Jo and her staff were on top of everything for the day-of details, and handled any mix-up with finesse (so well, that I'll be honest, I didn't hear of ANY mix ups occurring - only assuming that, like most weddings, they likely happened). My husband and I have not stopped receiving compliments from guests regarding the choice in venue, and delight from loved ones regarding how well they helped with packing up our belongings at the end of the night.

I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a good mix of outdoor space and indoor comforts. The floor plan is not a conventional ballroom - it's more like a great room of a home, which to me offers a cozier vibe for your guests. The floor plan is smartly laid out so those who want to step away from the dance floor, have enough space to spread out and have a private conversation while onlooking the festivities. The ladies' room offers a private suite with plenty of mirrors for brides that may need a wardrobe change during the reception. Also the restrooms (at least for the ladies' room) have separate rooms (not stalls) for each toilet, which I felt added to the "home like" feel, rather than a bland/cold commercial appearance.

Also another perk with this venue is it has EVERYTHING you need in one place. Tables, chairs, linens, bar, food, and cake options, as well as plenty of other add-ons (e.g. fire pit, satellite bar, dessert stations) all under one contract. I found that far more favorable for planning a wedding than having to keep track of 3-5+ vendors.

Suzanne Thompson was amazing--she was available to assist at all times throughout the wedding planning and the actual event. She ensured that the wedding day was perfectly smooth and if there were any issues, we have yet to hear of them three weeks later. The food was fantastic, our guests had a fantastic time, and the day was pretty close to perfect.

Having our wedding at The Links At Gettysburg was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Our coordinator, Suzanne helped us through the whole process and answered all of my questions right away. It was worth every penny to not have to set up the venue, so we could just sit back, relax, and enjoy the day. Suzanne took care of all the small details, and the day of the wedding she was always close by in case me, my husband, or anyone else needed anything taken care of.
To all Brides to be, let me make a suggestion to make it easy on you and the coordinators...make a list of anything that you need to have collected at the end of the evening. This will save you a drive up to collect the things later. Also, just remember to have everything written in the contract in case something goes wrong.
Overall, I received numerous compliments on the venue, how beautiful the place was, and how smooth everything ran. I would recommend The Links At Gettysburg to any couple looking for a venue.
