    Wedding Venue

When we got there it totally felt like the place we would choose! Beautiful base to decoration our wedding on top of. Easy to talk to staffing and coordinator. Amazing amounts of space for the price.

    Great Venue!!

Lydia was very helpful! Everyone loved the atmosphere that it brought. Everything rolled so smoothly! The only thing I would suggest is when you meet with the event coordinator, just make sure you know what time food will be put away so you don't order too much or too little. All around, it was such a great wedding! :)

    Ledges for the win!

Lydia was top notch. She was very professional and adjusted anything we asked to a degree. Her main concern was the bride which I loved as so many opinions are always flying around. She was very organized and everything ran exactly how she said.

    Beautiful venue, disappointing service

I recently got married here and I guess I'm only posting in hopes that my experience can help give some insight to future couples thinking about booking here.

I know there's some new management, and maybe that's what is lacking.
I'll try to be brief but here are some cons that we found and also some things to be aware of when booking.

    - Although they are upfront about charges, this place will try to nickel and dime you for every little thing you ask for. Be aware that when you are paying your "room fee" that is literally all you are paying for is the room. Everything else is extra.

    - What you pay for is 6 hours at the facility. If you plan to do a ceremony +reception that's all you have time for. Extra time to set up for decorating is a whopping $200/hour (they fail to mention that when signing the contract)

    - No possibility of bringing in other foods. Their desserts are very high priced - $3.50/brownie (for example) so we had to stick with cake and donuts (for some reason they allow donuts if it's a donut wall?)

    - Staff did not seem to know what they were doing the day of - (one staff member even mentioned to my brother that they were unsure of what was expected of them) but we had to remind them to clean up plates, turn on patio lights, and for the reception they started completely removing all the table decorations for some reason without consulting with anyone about it. They ended up having to put back everything they removed.

    - I had some guests tell me that during the dinner they couldn't hear speeches because the staff was talking loudly in the kitchen and clanking dishes.

    - There were a lot of miscommunications:

-We were told there was a wireless mic for use (we paid $50 to use it) - it was not wireless and we were not able to use it because it had a wire that wasn't in the right place for where we wanted to have speeches.
    - We paid to use a projector screen ($200) - when nobody told us you can't see anything on the screen until it's dark outside because of the glare.
    - We were told there was nothing needed to connect to the projector screen other than a computer. Somebody had to run to the store last minute to buy all the connection equipment we weren't told we had to have.

No bride wants to say this about their wedding day, but I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service.

The venue is beautiful, but I'm sad to say that's about the only positive thing I can say about my entire wedding and planning experience.

Please take it from a bride who has been through it and although this place is beautiful, find a more flexible and capable venue that can give you the wedding day you always wanted.
