The Laurel was the most perfect venue for our wedding! We fell in love with the simple beauty of the place from inside to landscape. Super great location for out of town guests as it’s within 5 minutes of DFW, downtown Grapevine, and plenty of hotels.
The entire Boxwood Hospitality staff made planning so easy. Our coordinator, Amber, went above and beyond to make our day perfect!! It wouldn’t have turned out without all the help and attention to detail she put into our day!
Highly recommend The Laurel!!! (and anywhere that Boxwood Hospitality manages!) -

I'm so beyond happy to have picked The Laurel as the setting for the best day of my life. Not only is the venue take-your-breath away gorgeous, but every single person we met with Boxwood was 100% committed to ensuring we had our perfect day. Specifically, our day-of coordinator, London. I could not have dreamed a better person to help us figure out everything we wanted. Neither my husband or I are good planners, and London was able to help us figure out details that made our day extra special. We were told that day-of coordinators are worth their weight in gold, but London is worth so much more than that. Everyone we met at Boxwood was kind, helpful, and flexible. They made everything so easy. I can only imagine what my stress level would have been otherwise. We're so grateful to all of the staff that helped make our wedding day extra special. -

The Laurel and Boxwood made the venue experience so easy and convenient! We loved the rustic atmosphere of The Laurel, and we got a lot of compliments on the space. Our guests especially enjoyed the outdoor patio with the fire going. Boxwood also provided a day-of wedding coordinator, Carly, who was immensely helpful, especially since I was doing all the planning on my own. She was always quick to respond and answer my questions, and she made the whole process feel less stressful. I also appreciated her attention to detail. The location is also perfect for out-of-town guests, since it's so close to the airport, and it's centrally located for our guests spread out across the DFW metroplex. I would highly recommend! -

We got married a few weeks ago at the Laurel and it was truly the best day of our lives! It was only the second venue we toured and we immediately knew it was where we wanted to get married. The chapel itself is gorgeous and the reception space is also stunning. From beginning to end, it was the best experience working with everyone at Boxwood. Everyone was always upbeat, encouraging, responsive, and excited to help your dream become a reality. Our wedding coordinator Kayleigh was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond and made sure our wedding day was seamless. Our guests also raved about the food, which was all amazing. The chef Justo is the best and will ensure you have the best food that fits your budget and vision. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this venue, they are truly the best!!! -

When we started our wedding planning process, venue was our top priority and we had a list of over 15 venues we planned to schedule for a tour. When we saw The Laurel, we were so captivated by the location, the interior and exterior design and most importantly the beautiful and classic chapel. After touring The Laurel, we knew it was the one and did not even have a backup venue. Haley was so helpful with the tour, and the venue was even more beautiful in person and the outdoor was so greenery. London, our venue coordinator was simply AMAZING throughout our planning process till the wedding day, beginning to the very end. She was so patient and understanding on our rehearsal day as some of our wedding parties were running late and we ended up needing extra time and we so appreciated her for that. She was very knowledgeable and provided detailed information throughout the planning process. She had great communication and organization skills which made our wedding planning process so enjoyable and smooth! On the wedding morning she checked on me and reminded me kindly to enjoy every single moment of the day and that the day would go so fast. Our wedding started at 5:30PM and London often checked on us if we needed anything which made us feel so special and so well taken care of. We had such a great peace of mind knowing that London was there the entire time on our wedding day. During our custom menu tasting, the catering service team went above and beyond to understand what we were wanting to serve and they exceeded our expectations on the wedding day!!!. All of our wedding party enjoyed the food so much and we received soooooo many compliments on how delicious the foods were. All of The Laurel staff were extremely friendly and professional. We are so grateful to have had London and The Laurel Team for our biggest day -

The Laurel is an all around great venue! It is relatively affordable (depending of course on what kind of packages you want), and I definitely decided to dress it up which the venue is more than helpful with! From the head chef to our day of coordinator, this venue is so great to work with! Highly recommend! -

When we first toured the Laurel, we knew our hearts were set on it. No other venue won us over quite like this one. From planning to meetings to our wedding day, the team at the Laurel was amazing every step of the way. Justo and the catering team were incredibly flexible and in tune to our every request when it came to food and beverage. The catering showcase was great to help us fine tune our meal choices and give us a taste of the delicious food Boxwood Hospitality offers. On the wedding day, the meal was absolutely perfect and the bar was a big hit! Carly, our coordinator, was calm, communicative, attentive to every detail, thoughtful, and always did everything she could to make our requests possible. We couldn't have asked for someone better to walk us through the planning process and be with us every step of the way on our big day! We are SO thankful to have had her. The Laurel is a beautiful venue and perfect for any couple! You will not be disappointed with your choice! -

The Laurel is the perfect venue! Hands down! This venue has an incredible chapel with wooden trusses that transform the space into anything you can envision. The adjoining venue for the reception is spacious and amazing.
The team at The Laurel is so friendly, helpful and wonderful. They are able to make anything happen for you and ensure you are perfectly comfortable on your big day!
Justo and the catering team are AMAZING. I am without words. I got so many compliments on the food for the cocktail hour and wedding. We loved our tastings and meetings with Justo. I could not imagine anyone else who is better at this career than Justo and his team.
I would recommend this group to anyone as they made our day perfect! -

The Laurel is the best wedding venue ever!
Our experience with everyone at Boxwood Hospitality was amazing. Everyone is so attentive and responsive to any questions and ensures that your wedding day is nothing short of perfect. Our day of coordinator was Abby and she worked alongside our wedding planner to create the best day ever. The Laurel is the best wedding venue in DFW due to its elegance and convenience! Our wedding day was so special and it would not have been the same without the Boxwood Hospitality team and our beautiful venue. -

Beautiful Dallas Wedding Venue!
My husband and I fell in love with The Laurel the second we saw it. The entire venue is beautiful and provides so much versatility. We loved getting ready in the Bridal and Groom Suites and having our cocktail hour on the patio (even in December - they provide heaters!) And of course, the main reception room was absolutely incredible! Throughout the process, we worked with both Maggie and Abby and they were both great to work with! Both were very professional, quick to respond, and communicated well with our Planner. It was obvious that they cared about making us happy and having all of our dreams come true. They really worked with us to answer all of our questions and help us feel confident and assured in all of the planning aspects. Our wedding day was perfect and the entire Laurel / Boxwood team helped to make that happen! -

I was drawn to The Laurel for it's beautiful interior architecture. We were searching for a space for my husband, who is religious, and me, who is not. The chapel was the perfect spot to bridge both of our dreams for a beautiful backdrop. The Great Hall is just as beautiful with exposed trusses and a wonderful fireplace, which we used for our winter wedding. From our first inquiry about the space, to getting linked with a coordinator, our experience was outstanding. We were assigned to Abby who was the perfect match for my husband and me. She was always quick to respond, guided us with ease with our many questions/ideas, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She made us feel like we were her only client. The amenities that come with The Laurel, onsite parking, multiple rooms under one roof, the separate suites for the bride and groom, onsite kitchen, beautiful outdoor spaces - the entire site is kept clean and well groomed. Although you're near the highway, you feel secluded and tucked away in an intimate space. All of the staff was kind and accommodating leading up to our wedding and on the day of. We wish we could do it all over again! -

Literally a dream come true. We were looking for a venue that offered an intimate setting, space for the ceremony and reception that also included in house catering. The minute we approached the venue and were greeted by the staff we were sold! The venue is breathtaking and I was obsessed with the chapel. The simplicity and elegance of The Laurel allowed me to create the intimate, romantic and dreamy setting I wanted for my big day. The entire booking process was smooth and transparent. The Laurel offered all the above plus your own day of coordinator. Every interaction we had with each staff member was professional and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure every aspect of your wedding journey, from booking up until after your wedding is a seamless and warm experience. I was assigned Maggie as my coordinator and let me tell you she is AMAZING. She did not skip a beat and made the wedding planning stress free and fun. We looked forward to our meetings with her! Communication was always on point and she exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. She did the most! She tackled the things that went wrong with other vendors effortlessly and made sure I was stress free and most importantly in the moment. To be honest she was not just our day of coordinator, she was our friend, there supporting us and guiding us on the best day of our lives. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the ambiance and service were outstanding. After the wedding the feedback we received from our guests were all positive. Everyone loved the venue and kept complimenting Maggie. She made sure EVERYONE was happy. Not just the bride and groom. I highly recommend booking your wedding at The Laurel. We wish we could do it all over again! When the time comes we will definitely be renewing our vows there! Thank you again for making our dream wedding come true! -

Two words: amazing and accommodating
From day 1 of booking, The Laurel and Boxwood Catering were INCREDIBLE. We had tons of unique requests (hello charcuterie boards for centerpieces, allergy plates, etc.) for our wedding and they took everything with stride and made our wedding day a dream come true. Wish we could get married here again! -

The Laurel was such a BEAUTIFUL venue. Carly was my coordinator there and she made sure that my day was stress free and special. From the second we signed the contract, Carly contacted all of my vendors and made sure they knew where to show up and what time to arrive. She took care of any vendor questions or concerns which made planning and day of coordinating stress free. On the day of, she made sure my bridesmaids and I had everything we needed. She was super helpful in showing us (and our guests) where to go and what to do. Everything went smoother than I could’ve hoped for and it was all due to Carly’s assistance! I could not have done it without her! -

My daughter recently got married at The Laurel in late June. All I can say is: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The venue is beautiful, the simple elegance, high ceilings, patio and amphitheater/grass are striking and accommodate large numbers. I can't tell you how many wedding guests have reached out to and commented on how fabulous the food was - hats off to Boxwood Catering! The chapel and reception hall were air conditioned and comfortable on a hot muggy June day. We utilized a number of vendors recommended by The Laurel and each was fantastic (hats off to Tarnos Photography, Butterfly Cakery, and DFW Parties, to name a few). Finally, our coordinator - Maggie - was fantastic: great communication leading up to the big day and on wedding day itself, she handled every detail, quietly touched base with us throughout the evening to see if we needed anything. I could not have asked for more and cannot say enough good things about Maggie, Boxwood Catering and The Laurel: thank you for making my little girl's day perfect! -

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding! Everything was beautiful and I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a wedding. I got married on January 11, 2020 and The Laurel was our wedding venue. My husband and I fell instantly in love with the entire venue. It was everything we wanted and more!
Communication: The communication with the staff was exceptional, even from the very beginning. Each person responded back within hours and were on top of every question I asked (which was a lot). Communication is top notch, even after your wedding!
Venue Wedding Coordinator: At The Laurel you are given a day of wedding coordinator and she becomes your "go to" person throughout your wedding process. This is the person you meet with on multiple in person meetings at The Laurel. You go over things like floor plan, catering, bar packages, and much more. Our coordinator was Tess, who was absolutely amazing. She went over the top to make sure my day wedding day was as smooth and perfect as possible, which it was!
Venue: This venue was an absolutely dream. It has a classic but simple design to make your wedding dreams come true, which is exactly what we were looking for. You can tell that the owners/builders took their time to make sure the flow of the floor plan was executed. After your ceremony, guest can be taken outside to a beautiful covered patio with a gas fireplace. We were also given the option to have 2 heaters, but since it was extremely cold the night of our wedding, guest bypassed the patio and went straight into the reception hall. Guest were allowed to enjoy the patio throughout the night.
Bride and Groom Suites: Both the bride and groom suites are very spacious compared to other venues we looked at. The bridal suit has a bathroom inside, whereas the groom's room does not. The bride's room has a ton of natural lighting and mirrors. Both are very beautiful.
Things Included: One reason we loved The Laurel was the venue took a lot of stress off of me, the bride, because I didn't have to look outside for vendors like linens, tables, chairs, bartenders, and catering. Everything was top of the line and something I would have picked out anyways if I had to bring it in from somewhere else.
Food and Beverage: WOW.... words that I heard over and over from our guest after the wedding. Everybody was talking about how great the food was. There were tons of options and price levels to meet everyones needs and wants. We had three passed o'hoarders during cocktail hour, chicken and brisket for our main course. For beverages we had wine, beer, champagne, and liquor. Everything was perfect and flawless.
The Laurel, hands down is the BEST venue!! You truly get the feeling that they want you to be happy and stress free verses you being a dollar sign. They are upfront with cost with no hidden fees. I HIGHLY recommend The Laurel as your wedding venue!!! -

We fell in love with the Laurel the day we toured it and only toured one other place after. They were so easy to work with. They provide a day of coordinator and we were assigned Julianne. She was so helpful and easy to work with all throughout the 11 months leading up to the wedding. The venue itself is beautiful and has everything you need on site. It was everything we could have wanted! -

As soon as we saw the Laurel in person, I knew it was where we were going to get married. The space is gorgeous, both inside and outside. We had an outdoor ceremony but loved knowing that our “rain plan” was the most beautiful chapel we ever saw. The bridal and groom’s suites were both perfect for our needs. Most importantly, our day of coordinator was amazing. She was easy to work with, relaxed, kind, and fun to hang out with. She made the day run smooth and was a calming presence. We are so glad that we picked the Laurel! -

Everyone I worked with (shout out to Shannon & Jessica) was so incredibly professional and helpful, and really made my family and I feel comfortable and confident that the Laurel team was on top of everything. The venue itself is beautiful, and the staff is so helpful, accommodating, and our wedding went off without a hitch. Tzahhia Coleman was my coordinator, and she did a great job from our very first planning meeting. She communicated with all my vendors before the event so everyone was on the same page the day of, and she always responded my emails quickly. The best thing about The Laurel is everything that comes with the price you pay, and you can be at the venue for the entire day which made getting ready so easy. They go above and beyond to make sure your day is exactly how you imagined. Also, they handle your payments with the caterer which gave me one less thing to worry about. I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone! -

Julie was there on our special day and she is just such a pleasure to work with! She took time to learn what we wanted and didn’t want and made sure our whole day ran with ease. She committed time and devoted attention to meet with us on multiple occasions to walk/ talk through the venue. April Sent on 01/23/2017We had a rough time trying to find the right venue (we looked at like 15+ venues) and The Laurel was the one. Shannon and her team are very kind, thoughtful, and organized. We booked our date with The Laurel, when it was under construction and lacking details, and Shannon gave us the confidence that it would live up to expectations. The venue was perfect when it was finished. The team at the Laurel is very flexible (we requested special alcohol and they provided it) and all our guests couldn't stop complementing how beautiful the venue was. On the day of, The Laurel made sure we and the rest of the wedding party was taken care of and everything went off without a hitch. The grounds are very well kept (we had a winter wedding) and all the vendors we worked with spoke very highly of The Laurel.
The chapel and reception hall are a bit neutral but it transforms in to an amazing setting with the proper flowers and uplighting. You also have to use their list of preferred caters, which limits your choices, but all of them are amazing and none of them will disappoint you. -

My daughter recently had her renewal of vowels in the Chapel and her wedding reception in the Great Hall at The Laurel. She and her husband were supposed to have this celebration on 3/20/20 but due to Covid, had to postpone their big day until Sept. 2020. They went ahead and got married on 3/20/20 without anyone present except for their parents. In Sept. 2020 Covid was still a threat so they had to postpone it again to June 11, 2021. The Laurel management and our wedding coordinator Carly Suhr were so accommodating and worked with us throughout the Covid crisis and required date changes. When we finally celebrated their big day, from the moment we walked through the doors, Carly was again right there to help us ensure that their celebration was fabulous and memorable. Our guests were so impressed with the location too. The Chapel, outdoor patio, along with the Great Hall provides the perfect combination for a fabulous and memorable wedding celebration experience. You won't be disappointed if you select The Laurel for your wedding venue. -

Phenomenal wedding
The Laurel has all the aesthetics a woman could dream of for her wedding day. It’s was convenient having the absolutely beautiful chapel attached to the reception so no one has to leave to drive to the reception. The one kicker with The Laurel is they have a pretty strict catering list, we had to get our outside catering business approved and it was! I would also say they mandate the bar package through them, which I was super worried about because they pick 2 out of the 3 choices of beer and they pick the wine. So I was quite worried which ones would be picked, but they did choose a variety of light/dark beer which made me happy. The event coordinator I had was Carly, she literally was amazing! Very helpful leading up to the leading and during the wedding. She was included with The Laurels Package. During the wedding she kept everything on track to big events like, cutting the cake, first dances, bouquet toss, etc etc. Having her was a game changer because I truly blinked and the night was over. -

Our daughter chose The Laurel for her wedding and reception venue due to the convenience of having the entire day and evening at one location. It is close to a hub of hotels very closely as well as DFW airport making it an overall convenient venue. It is also a beautiful venue with stone and wood beam detailing as well as a forest behind the venue making it a perfect photo backdrop. The Laurel was the absolute perfect venue for our daughter's wedding a couple of weeks ago and we can't recommend it enough. Guests and family loved our evening at The Laurel!
