Our wedding at The Lake House Inn was pure magic. We exchanged vows in the lakefront garden with sparkling water behind us — it was more beautiful than any photo could capture. The transition to cocktail hour on the terrace felt effortless, and the ballroom glowed at sunset with its draped ceiling and huge dance floor. Our Venue Search Is Finally Over!!
We've been engaged for eight months and have been completely overwhelmed trying to find the right venue. Too big, too generic, too expensive, too far. The Lake House Inn checked every single box we didn't even know we had. Marina made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The lakefront views are breathtaking in person — photos don't do it justice. The idea of a wine cellar tasting, a firepit after-party, overnight rooms, and a lakeside breakfast the next morning… that's not a wedding day, that's an experience. Planning a wedding from across the country sounded terrifying, but Starr at The Lake House Inn made it completely stress-free. Every call, every email — she was on top of everything. Our guests were blown away by the lakefront setting and the views of Lake Nockamixon. The valet and shuttle service was a lifesaver — nobody had to worry about parking or directions. We are still buzzing with our wedding at The Lake House Inn! The retro atmosphere with all the modern additions is chef kiss. I was weeping before I even got the dress on due to the views of the bridal suite. Saying yes to The Lake House Inn was the easiest wedding decision we made. The lake views during the ceremony area were unreal—I kept staring at the water instead of looking at my husband half the time 😂 Getting ready in the bridal suite with that view was the best part of the morning. The reception in the lakefront ballroom felt magical, especially with the lights on the water. As parents of the bride, we loved every minute of the wedding at The Lake House Inn. Being right on Lake Nockamixon with the state park around it made it feel like our own little getaway, and it was an easy trip from New York for a lot of the guests. The ceremony by the lake was gorgeous, and the lakefront ballroom was perfect for the party. Everyone raved about the food from Jeffrey Miller Catering, and Joe at the bar was a hit with his drinks. The indoor-outdoor cocktail hour worked out great even with a little rain, and having 18 rooms meant no one had to leave—we all stayed and enjoyed breakfast together the next day. Stunning Lakefront Ballroom Bliss
This venue is a dream—just 90 minutes from NYC and you feel completely immersed in nature surrounded by Lake Nockamixon. Starr was phenomenal coordinating every moment. The grand lakefront ballroom with its contemporary-rustic vibe is stunning. Jeffrey Miller’s food blew everyone away. The cocktail hour on the terrace, wine cellar tasting, firepit after-party, and breakfast the next morning made it the ultimate wedding weekend. -

Dream Wedding Surrounded by Water and Beauty
Everything we wanted and more for our 175 guests. The Lake House Inn is literally surrounded by water and state park beauty. Planner Craig was a calming presence throughout. The handicap-accessible design made it perfect for all ages. Our DJ kept saying how much he loved the room’s layout and acoustics. The bridal suite’s hair & makeup room was clutch, and waking up to breakfast after crashing in those gorgeous overnight rooms felt like a slumber party we never wanted to end. -

Sunset Terrace Magic, Flawless Lake Wedding
10/10, no notes. Less than an hour from Philadelphia and Kate planned our wedding flawlessly. The ballroom terrace on the lake gave us the ceremony of our dreams with that incredible sunset. We did a beautiful Persian sofreh aghd table on the terrace that looked magical against the water. The big dance floor kept the party alive, and the firepit after-party was the best surprise. Valet and shuttle parking were seamless. The rustic-chic contemporary overnight rooms are stunning, and having breakfast served the next morning made saying goodbye so much sweeter. -

Six-star Lake House dream
If I could give 6 stars I would. Kate made planning an absolute joy and it’s under an hour from Philadelphia. The venue is surrounded by state park beauty. We kicked off the night with a lively Nigerian money spray dance that had everyone on their feet.The perfect rain plan saved the day when a quick storm passed, and the lake views never disappeared. Jeffrey Miller’s food was insane, the wine cellar tasting was such a fun surprise, and the overnight rooms are spectacular—truly felt like a wedding slumber party! -

Magical lakeside wedding bliss ✨
Once you arrive you’re surrounded by the calm waters of Lake Nockamixon and the state park, and it’s less than an hour from Philadelphia. Kate was phenomenal from start to finish. We honored my husband’s Mexican heritage with a beautiful mariachi serenade at sunset on the terrace—pure magic. The cocktail hour on the lakefront terrace, the huge dance floor, the firepit after-party, and waking up to breakfast in those gorgeous overnight rooms made it a weekend we’ll never forget. Pictures were absolutely amazing—our photographer still can’t get over the grounds and that sunset! -

A Dream Come True at LHI
We got married at the LHI in October and a huge shoutout to everyone there but specifically Craig and Kate. They were phenomenal during the entire process and the entire day was incredible and absolutely the wedding of my dreams. We are so obsessed and cannot wait to return for anniversaries. -

The Most Perfect Day at The Lake House Inn
I can’t stop thinking about how perfect our wedding was at The Lake House Inn. The ceremony area by the lake was so pretty and peaceful—it’s exactly what I wanted. Getting ready in the bridal suite with the lake view was magical. The reception in the ballroom felt elegant but still relaxed, and cocktail hour was a breeze with the indoor-outdoor setup. Joe the bartender was awesome, and Jeffrey Miller Catering’s food had everyone raving. We turned it into a full weekend with the overnight rooms, and the fire pit at the end was the sweetest way to wrap up the night. From Calm Morning Views to Fireside Nights
Getting married at The Lake House Inn was a total dream. The ceremony by the lake was perfect—the water, the trees, everything. I loved getting ready in the bridal suite with those panoramic views; it made the morning so calm and special. The reception in the lakefront ballroom was beautiful, and the food was incredible—Jeffrey Miller Catering really delivered. Joe made awesome cocktails at the bar, and the indoor-outdoor space for cocktail hour worked great. We turned it into a full weekend with the 18 rooms, and hanging by the fire pit late at night with everyone was the best. Marina and Holly were so nice and helpful. I loved every second. -

Dancing by the Water on the Best Day Ever
I’m still smiling thinking about my wedding at The Lake House Inn. Saying “I do” with the lake right behind us was so beautiful—I’ll never forget that view. The ballroom looked stunning, and dancing with the doors open to the water felt magical. Cocktail hour was super fun with the big indoor-outdoor space.
Jeffrey Miller Catering nailed the food—my guests are still talking about it. Having all the rooms on site meant no one had to leave, and the fire pit after-party was my favorite part. Marina was like a mom to me the whole time, and Craig made sure everything went perfectly. Best decision ever. -

Having 18 rooms meant my family and bridesmaids stayed the whole weekend, and it really felt like one big sleepover. Marina was so sweet and helpful, and our planner Kate kept everything running smoothly. We ended the night around the fire pit and it was perfect. I’d do it all again in a heartbeat. -

My wedding day at The Lake House Inn was perfect from start to finish. Standing by the lake for the ceremony felt so peaceful and pretty—I couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The ballroom looked amazing for dinner and dancing, and the huge cocktail hour space let everyone move around easily inside and out. The food was delicious (thanks Jeffrey Miller Catering!), and Joe the bar manager was a total rockstar. Having 18 rooms meant my whole family and wedding party stayed over—it really felt like our own little weekend getaway. The fire pit at the end of the night was so cozy.
