Just reliving our wedding weekend at The Lake House Inn and I’m crying happy tears all over again 😭💍 The second we saw that ceremony spot right on Lake Nockamixon we were DONE. Sunset vows, lake breeze, surrounded by state park… it was pure magic. Joe the bartender had everyone buzzing at cocktail hour (those espresso martinis tho 🔥), and the lakefront ballroom looked straight out of Pinterest. Jeffrey Miller Catering absolutely crushed the food—still getting texts about the short rib. Bonus: 18 rooms meant our whole crew stayed for a total slumber-party weekend. Marina & Craig, you guys are angels. If you want a wedding that feels like a mini-vacation, BOOK THIS PLACE.

Our Dream Wedding at The Lake House Inn

Saying yes to The Lake House Inn was the easiest wedding decision we made. The lake views during the ceremony area were unreal—I kept staring at the water instead of looking at my husband half the time 😂 Getting ready in the bridal suite with that view was the best part of the morning. The reception in the lakefront ballroom felt magical, especially with the lights on the water. Cocktail hour was super fun with the huge indoor-outdoor flow, and Joe the bartender became everyone’s favorite person. The food was so delicious—Jeffrey Miller Catering really killed it. We loved having everyone stay over—the fire pit after-party was the coziest way to end the night. Marina, Kate, and Holly were amazing. 10/10 would do it again.

Being right on Lake Nockamixon

As parents of the bride, we loved every minute of the wedding at The Lake House Inn. Being right on Lake Nockamixon with the state park around it made it feel like our own little getaway, and it was an easy trip from New York for a lot of the guests. The ceremony by the lake was gorgeous, and the lakefront ballroom was perfect for the party. Everyone raved about the food from Jeffrey Miller Catering, and Joe at the bar was a hit with his drinks. The indoor-outdoor cocktail hour worked out great even with a little rain, and having 18 rooms meant no one had to leave—we all stayed and enjoyed breakfast together the next day. The fire pit at night was so cozy. Marina was so sweet and helpful, and Craig made sure everything went just right. It was a day we’ll always treasure.

Forever at Lakehouse

Still buzzing from our wedding at The Lake House Inn!! The historic vibe with all the modern upgrades is chef’s kiss. Bridal suite views had me tearing up before I even put the dress on. Joe killed it at the bar (those blackberry mules 😍) and the fire pit after-party was legendary. Short drive from Philly but feels like you’re in another world.

On-Site Bliss

Just when I thought wedding planning was stressful… The Lake House Inn happened 🙌 Everything was flawless. The groomsmen were obsessed with the pool table lounge, the girls lost it over the bridal suite views, and our families loved that everyone could stay on-site. Joe the bartender and the fire pit after-party were the icing on the (wedding) cake. Worth every penny and every minute of the drive!

The Lake House Inn made our wedding day feel like a dream. I fell in love with the ceremony area the second I saw it—right on the water with the state park all around. Stunning Sunset Lakefront Wedding Magic

We fell in love the moment we drove up—completely surrounded by Lake Nockamixon and the state park. Marina the innkeeper is an angel. Holly kept everything on track without a single hiccup. Our 11-piece band sounded amazing, the rustic-chic overnight rooms are magazine-worthy, the groom’s lounge with pool table was a total guy-win, and the firepit after-party was epic. Our pictures are unbelievable thanks to that amazing sunset and the grounds the photographer adored.

This venue is a dream—just 90 minutes from NYC and you feel completely immersed in nature surrounded by Lake Nockamixon. Starr was phenomenal coordinating every moment. Everything we wanted and more for our 175 guests. The Lake House Inn is literally surrounded by water and state park beauty. Planner Craig was a calming presence throughout. The handicap-accessible design made it perfect for all ages. Our DJ kept saying how much he loved the room’s layout and acoustics. The bridal suite’s hair & makeup room was clutch, and waking up to breakfast after crashing in those gorgeous overnight rooms felt like a slumber party we never wanted to end.

Sunset Terrace Magic, Flawless Lake Wedding

10/10, no notes. Less than an hour from Philadelphia and Kate planned our wedding flawlessly. The ballroom terrace on the lake gave us the ceremony of our dreams with that incredible sunset. We did a beautiful Persian sofreh aghd table on the terrace that looked magical against the water. The big dance floor kept the party alive, and the firepit after-party was the best surprise. Valet and shuttle parking were seamless. The rustic-chic contemporary overnight rooms are stunning, and having breakfast served the next morning made saying goodbye so much sweeter.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Kate made planning an absolute joy and it’s under an hour from Philadelphia. The venue is surrounded by state park beauty. We kicked off the night with a lively Nigerian money spray dance that had everyone on their feet.The perfect rain plan saved the day when a quick storm passed, and the lake views never disappeared. Jeffrey Miller’s food was insane, the wine cellar tasting was such a fun surprise, and the overnight rooms are spectacular—truly felt like a wedding slumber party!

Once you arrive you’re surrounded by the calm waters of Lake Nockamixon and the state park, and it’s less than an hour from Philadelphia. Kate was phenomenal from start to finish. We honored my husband’s Mexican heritage with a beautiful mariachi serenade at sunset on the terrace—pure magic. The breathtaking ceremony area overlooking the water was breathtaking and the lakefront ballroom, created an unforgettable space for celebration. Jeffrey Miller Catering delivered cuisine of exceptional quality—beautifully presented and universally praised by our guests. The thoughtful design of the indoor-outdoor cocktail hour spaces ensured comfort and flow, while the availability of eighteen overnight rooms transformed the occasion into a cherished weekend retreat for family and close friends. Bridal Suite Bliss, Firepit Forever

Kate was incredible—made us feel like her only couple all year. The terrace cocktail hour at golden hour, the groom’s lounge pool table, and the bridal suite hair & makeup room were lifesavers. I’m still smiling thinking about my wedding at The Lake House Inn. Saying “I do” with the lake right behind us was so beautiful—I’ll never forget that view. The ballroom looked stunning, and dancing with the doors open to the water felt magical. Cocktail hour was super fun with the big indoor-outdoor space.

I’m a Bucks County bride through and through, and The Lake House Inn was the ideal spot for our 190 guests. Marina the innkeeper welcomed us like family from day one. The entire place is surrounded by Lake Nockamixon and the state park, so our photos are jaw-dropping. Our photographer said the grounds were a dream to shoot on. Craig planned everything perfectly. Jeffrey Miller’s food was incredible, and the DJ loved the room. We incorporated a traditional Indian joota chupai ceremony that had everyone laughing, and the overnight rooms are spectacular—felt like a chic lake house sleepover!

10/10, no notes. Less than an hour from Philadelphia and Kate planned our wedding flawlessly. The ballroom terrace on the lake gave us the ceremony of our dreams with that incredible sunset. We did a beautiful Persian sofreh aghd table on the terrace that looked magical against the water. The big dance floor kept the party alive, and the firepit after-party was the best surprise. Valet and shuttle parking were seamless. The rustic-chic contemporary overnight rooms are stunning, and having breakfast served the next morning made saying goodbye so much sweeter.

Lake House Inn and JAM Hospitality group pulled off an absolutely flawless wedding day for my husband and I. Holly, our day-of-coordinator, was incredibly responsive to all of our questions leading up to the wedding, and was extraordinarily flexible on the day of the wedding. All of the LHI staff made the process of transitioning the ceremony from outside on the lake to inside the ballroom because of rain so seamless, and our wedding party, family, and friends raved about how the team worked like a well-oiled machine. We held our vows in the breathtaking ceremony area by the lake, where the views took everyone’s breath away. The beautiful lakefront ballroom was ideal for our reception, spacious enough for dancing and dining. The huge indoor-outdoor cocktail hour space was a favorite, allowing seamless flow between the fresh lake air and indoor comfort, with beautiful bars where Joe the bartender mixed up some of the best drinks we’ve ever had. Jeffrey Miller Catering provided amazing food that was not only delicious but artistically presented—our menu was customized to perfection. Marina the innkeeper was like a fairy godmother, handling accommodations and details with such care, and Craig the event manager ensured the day ran without a hitch.The 18 overnight rooms facilitated a true slumber party wedding, extending the joy into brunch the next morning. The bridal suite’s panoramic views were stunning for getting ready, and the grooms lounge with the pool table offered a cool retreat. A destination wedding without the airfare!

Our family is spread out along the East Coast . When searching for a wedding venue we had to consider how far our guest were willing to travel.

We found The Lake House Inn and our search, stopped there.

What an amazing venue so close to New York and Philadelphia.

We had always dreamed of a destination wedding, but realize it’s a lot to ask for your guests to travel by air.
Our wedding at The Lake House Inn turned out to be better than we ever imagined.

We stayed for two nights surrounded by friends and family and it felt like a week! And unlike a destination wedding 95% of our invited guest were able to attend.

The whole experience was amazing! Special thanks to our planner Holly, and Marina, the innkeeper, for making our wedding weekend so special.

The Lake House In

The Lake House Inn is the absolute perfect wedding venue. The scenery is absolutely stunning. The venue itself is gorgeous and very updated. The staff are the best part. Everyone is so kind and willing to do anything you ask them to do. Our wedding was an absolute dream and it was all because of the Lake House Inn and their staff. This was truly an unforgettable experience and I would recommend The Lake House Inn to everyone.

Stunning Venue

We are getting married at The Lake House Inn in May. We have visited the venue numerous times and each time came away impressed with the beauty of this venue. They continue to upgrade the space which makes it even more spectacular. We've done our tasting, and the food was great! Can't wait for our special day!
