Just want to say that the Klipptones was the icing on our wedding cake! they are simply amazing! Josh is such an awesome guy to work with- super responsive, flexible, reasonable, and sneaky!
Sneaky?! Yes! My sister who is my Matron of Honor contacted Josh to be a part of her speech. They collaborated on what we call one of the most epic MOH speeches ever created! My sister started her speech and just when I thought the water works was about to start, she started to sing "Can't Take my Eyes Off of You" by Frankie Valli. The band followed her lead and next thing you know, the whole room started singing! (seriously you had to be there).
Thank you again Klipptones for making our wedding even more amazing! Your enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to make it as special and unique really made it worth having you guys on board! Can't thank you enough and highly, highly, highly recommend these guys! Hope to work with you again in some capacity (perhaps our 1-yr anniversary ;)) -

We hired Josh Klipp and The Klipptones to provide music for our 25th anniversary party. They were terrific! Josh was responsive and easy to communicate with.The band had a tight, full sound. They played a mix of swing and swing-style rock (Brown Eyed Girl, Twist and Shout etc.) that had everybody dancing. They were also very accommodating about letting my husband, an amateur harmonica and sax player, sit in on a couple of numbers with them. They brought lights that helped make a somewhat basic/rustic setting more nightclubby and festive.
One thing we did which added to the fun was hire a swing dance instructor (a fellow recommended by Josh) to give everyone a lesson. That was a blast and helped make it an even more memorable party.
We would recommend the Klipptones 100%. -

Josh was absolutely wonderful to work with and The Klipptones were a huge hit at our party! I really appreciated the professionalism I received and the super quick response to any type of question I had. Our guests had a great time and I got many many compliments on the band. The Klipptones were great for our Route 66 Networking Reception! I worked with Josh a lot before the event, and he made sure everything was taken care of, and that they would be playing the music we wanted to hear. They were very flexible and nice to work with! -

Josh and his crew were amazing! They went an extra mile to make sure our event goes smoothly. Everybody at the wedding was impressed just how professional and talented these guys are. I would give 6 starts if I could! -

The Klipptones played at my MIL's birthday party (large cocktail/dance party) and they were exactly what we were looking for -- great music/vocals, fun, interactive, sooo easy to work with, very professional, and very accommodating with our "wish list" of songs. What they didn't play themselves, Josh played from his ipad during their breaks. As a bonus, they have a very cool style and were a great addition to the party. They looked like they were having as much fun as we were! -

I was extremely lucky to be introduced to the Klipptones by accident as they performed at a wonderful birthday party- EVERYBODY loved them, their energy, their style, and not to mention- their skills and talents on a beautiful variety of instruments & awesome voices!
To be honest, I'm spoiled. I've been lucky to have ben involved with putting on musical events with folks like Willie Nelson, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson and more...and lemme tell you, the Klipptones are professional, super fun and are the REAL DEAL.

If you hire this band for your event, you will not be disappointed. We hired them to play jazz for my husband’s birthday party and WOW! were we impressed. I have never been so complimented on the music for a party before as we were when we had the Klipptones play. Everyone was SO impressed!
On time, super professional, SUPER fun, great mix of music and just easy to work with. We will be using them again… without a doubt.

The band provided ambience music for a pre-show reception. They were awesome and the crowd, jazz lovers all, loved them. They were a dream to work with, and believe me, we do 120 shows a year and that is a rare statement. They understood their role, they were wonderful musicians and could not have been nicer or more cooperative. Our grateful thanks. It was easy, and that is exactly how we like them. -

We had the Klipptones play for our wedding, and it was an enjoyable, fun experience all around. Josh was super responsive in the months leading up to the wedding. He sent us their huge repertoire and we picked out what songs we particularly wanted played or not played. And, when we asked for a couple songs not on the list, they learned the songs for us and did a beautiful job. They also offered to have a few pieces of the band play some instrumental songs during the cocktail hour, which made it very classy.
Their music is very danceable swing music, which was perfect for us. The guests who don't like to dance enjoyed listening to them throughout the evening. They also do fun swing-modern mash-ups. -

Josh and the Klipptones were a fantastic part of our wedding day. Our guests raved and we genuinely had an amazing time.
The Klipptones did music, sound and hosting through the entire wedding -- from some beautiful background music during the ceremony, to a swing dance lesson, special first dance performance and a wonderful dance party afterwards.
They went out of their way to learn our first dance song, and then to tweak the style to fit with our choreography, going so far as to invite us to an event they were playing the week before so we could practice!
They also did an awesome job when we had fewer opinions -- I asked Josh to "just play something appropriate during the ceremony" and "um, can you just make the playlist for breaks between sets", and both came off without a hitch.
Josh's energy and commitment to making our day awesome was clear throughout our experience -- from our first meeting to the final song of the evening. Couldn't recommend the Klipptones more! -

We had the Klipptones as the band for our wedding and Josh was our point of contact. For our wedding we wanted 3 simple things: Awesome venue (check), great food (check)... and a live jazz/swing band that would complete the atmosphere and mood (CHECK!).
My wife and I cannot recommend them enough. They were super easy to work with, professional, and great musicians :) If you are thinking of hiring them for an event...DO IT! You will have an awesome experience and your guests will surely appreciate your choice.

I am a busy wedding planner in San Francisco and the bay area. Every interaction I have had with Josh and the Klipptones has been extremely positive. His musicians are versatile and SOOO talented! When I refer a bride to a vendor, my reputation is at stake as well. I expect those professionals with whom I work to be responsive, attentive and flexible. My clients, Betty and Alex, were thrilled with The Klipptones as were their guests! It was a pleasure working with Josh, and I do not hesitate to refer the band to my associates' clients as well as my own. They will deliver a 5***** performance! -

We hired the Klipptones for a 1940's night at our dance studio (the Metronome). Our crowd loved it so much that we brought them back for the 1950's night. They've got a great sound and really know how to respond to the crowd. -

Josh and the Klipptones are INCREDIBLE. I have had them play at a variety of nonprofit fundraising events and they are delightful and fabulous every time. Josh is the consummate professional - quick to respond, flexible with our requests, always on time with a smile - but I love their sound. The music is varied - and performed by incredibly talented folks - love these guys!!! -
