Katie Sent on 12/11/2024Superhero's of the PNW Bomb Cyclone Storm? The Kelley Farm!
Words cannot express how grateful we are to The Kelley Farm. At 10pm on the Wednesday before our Friday afternoon wedding, we received an urgent email from our venue that they were without power and had been for several days. The restoration ETA was set for after our date but the space was still available for us to use, it would "just look a little different". Although the thought of having a gorgeous evening by candlelight with all of our guests was romantic, not being able to provide light, food or heat for such a large scale event is unsafe. For the next 12 hours you can imagine the panic and absolute devastation we felt. Our day of coordinator (Mikayla Homan, our other saving grace!) started the impossible task of finding a new venue in 24 hours. She called us late Thursday morning to let us know that The Kelley Farm was not only available, but willing to do whatever it took to make our dream wedding happen. And that's exactly what they did. Elise and her team at The Kelley Farm clearly have incredibly strong relationships with local vendors, as the only thing we were then tasked with was to take a deep breath, sign some papers, and alert our guests of the change. We will never truly know what all went into coordinating with everyone to make it happen because they made sure to keep as much off of our plate as possible. It's still so hard to put into words! You would have never known it was not our original plan, and it was all done in under one day. Flawlessly. We woke up on Friday to sunshine, exploding hearts full of gratitude and had the wedding of our dreams. We will forever be grateful for the time, incredible effort, and kindness we were shown. The moment I walked through The Kelley Farm I knew it was our wedding venue. One of the most beautiful places, there is not one place you could be photographed and the background doesn't look gorgeous. The service was amazing they were very organized and communicated quickly when we had questions. I loved this venue and the bridal cottage is also so stunning and very roomy for all of my bridesmaids. Everything was so perfect, I couldn't imagine our wedding anywhere else. Couldn't recommend them more! -

The Kelley Farm is THE best wedding venue in the greater Seattle area! We viewed 10 wedding venues, visited 5, and just fell in love with KF. The beauty of the location is undeniable but what made KF stick out to us was the professionalism and friendliness of its staff. Our special day would not have been possible without Elise! She is the kindest and most welcoming host. She was very responsive and well informed. She respected and celebrated our non-traditional wedding alongside us and never once questioned or disrespected our love and commitment. We felt supported and valued during our wedding planning process. You have to choose The Kelley Farm! -

We are so happy that we chose the Kelley Farm for our wedding venue. Our wedding was in October, and the weather can be super unpredictable. But no mater rain or shine, the Kelley Farm provides a beautiful backdrop. With the gorgeous vintage bridal suite, the beautiful gardens, the adorable highland cows, and the stunning barn, the Kelley Farms offers so much variety! Elise and the rest of the Kelley Farm staff were amazing to work with. Everyone was so kind, responsive, and helpful in making our day exactly how we dreamt it. Our vision came together perfectly, and we are so grateful to Kelley Farms for their part in making our dreams come true. -

Kelley Farm was the perfect wedding venue. Elise was our main point of contact and she was so friendly and helpful from the tour, to the many emails we exchanged, and the team for our final details meeting and day of were also wonderful. The venue itself is breathtaking, and they keep adding more, like a fire pit, which make it even better! It was the perfect venue for us!

We had the absolute BEST experience with Kelley Farm! My husband and I held our wedding reception there on 12/29/23, and the day was perfect. We worked with Chantal and Elise for the planning process, and they were incredibly helpful, organized, responsive, and accommodating. As we got closer to our date, we received very informative email reminders and instructions about deadlines and action items - this was super helpful for us, as we pretty much handled most of our own planning and details! I had lots of questions throughout planning, and everyone was very quick to respond with all the clarifications I needed. Any planning we established with Kelley Farm (such as layouts, etc) was promptly communicated to our caterer by Elise - the way in which Kelley Farm and the caterer coordinated with each other was seamless. It took so much stress off for us to have such a great venue and vendor team! The venue itself is stunning! We could not have asked for a more beautiful and rustic setting. We are so happy with how our wedding reception turned out, and we've heard from so many of our guests about how much they loved and enjoyed Kelley Farm! We highly recommend this venue!! -

Our wedding at Kelley Farm on December 16th was a dream come true and we are so happy that our wedding turned out beautiful even during the winter. While touring wedding venues, Elise showed us around Kelley Farm and she felt like an old friend. During the tour, she was already giving us decor advice and vendor recommendations that were spot-on.
The whole Kelley Farm team was a dream to work with and their quick responses helped take a lot of stress out of the wedding planning. The barn was rustic with grand chandeliers while the bride’s getting ready cottage is one of the biggest and most memorable ones that we have seen. Having a big bridal cottage to hold a big group of people was a HUGE help on the wedding day! It came fully equipped with a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and 2 rooms. I had my flower girl, ring bearer and bridal party hanging out while my parents were able to rest on the comfortable couches before our ceremony.
Callie (Kelley Farm’s venue coordinator) was amazing on our wedding day! She ensured that the barn, bridal cottage and groom shack were heated before we arrived and was working tirelessly to ensure that we were able to get what we needed for the big day to proceed smoothly. Really appreciate Kelley Farm’s help in making our dreams possible and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for wedding venues!

Kelley Farm was magical. The location was truly perfect! Rustic but glamorous. Chandeliers perfectly placed. A new enchanting arbor. House on-site for bride to get ready on-site and adorable grooms quarters. Options readily available for any type of weather but if you get a sunny day, perfect for outdoor lawn games, band, and exploration field nearby. Highly recommend. -

My husband and I searched far and wide for the perfect wedding venue and I don't think you'll find better bang for your buck. The Kelley Farm is absolutely stunning in every way, and all of our guests were so impressed with the ambiance. There are a lot of options for either an indoor or outdoor ceremony/reception set up and the bridal cottage was just fantastic to get ready in. We had lots of questions throughout the process and the team was super helpful and responsive in making sure we were set up for the perfect day. They even make finding other vendors and getting the appropriate insurance extremely easy for you. We had 111 guests but could have comfortably fit many more. They had everything we needed. Clean restrooms for guests, a bar fit with kegs and refrigerator space, decorative wine barrels, heaters for the patio - absolutely everything we needed. If you're looking for a dreamy fairytale wedding, this is your spot. Highly recommend. -

My husband and I have had a wonderful experience working with Kelley Farm. We booked our date shortly after we got engaged because the farm was just breathtakingly beautiful. We initially met with Elise who we ended up working with throughout the entire wedding planning processes. I would say I’m definitely a planner and ask more than enough questions. Elise was always quick to respond to may many emails or calls. I appreciated that and her thorough responses. We were allowed to book dates to come out to the venue and look at it again, bring decor with us to see how it would fit etc. This of course was only if there were no events happening at that time. But I will say it was much needed and much appreciated. The staff was AMAZING and so attentive to our needs throughout the planning and the day of. Since we were making all our own décor and needed the time to set up and prep—staying on a strict schedule was most important to us. The staff respected that and helped us in everyway they could. We had to book for the whole day of course, but it was worth it. We had so much to set up. We also wanted to make sure that we left the place just as it was when we got there so we had our friends helping to scrub the floors, wipe the tables, taking out trash, sweeping the ground etc. The staff made such a beautiful effort to ensure that we had a beautiful day and we wanted to make sure we did not leave them with any extra work.
Since this is a review, I do want to include a bit of a heads up.
1. This venue, you are required to go through there approved vendors for any food or alcohol. This does not include pastries or regular drinks or appetizers. Just main food the guests are eating and any alcohol of course because it is a license issue (understandable). The caterers are quite pricey, but we ended up going with Gulllucis, and shall I say their food was delicious. Their presentation was beautiful, and the staff was so friendly, so attentive and outright amazing. I would highly recommend them over and over again!
2. You will be required to put a deposit down (obviously) to book the date of your choice, and you will be required prior to your event date to book event insurance. For us, it was around $350.00
3. You will have to wait until the month of, to book a rehearsal for your event—if that is something you want. This was very stressful to wait for because until someone cancelled, we did not have that date we needed, available.
4. Pay attention to the things you can and cannot have per your contract. For us, the biggest downfall was the fake snow. We had a winter wonderland wedding and not being allowed to have fake snow really sucked. However, we were able to work the fake fluffy snow when we attached it to a linen to lay on the ground. Its mostly because cleanup is so difficult, and you only have so much time because someone may have booked the venue right after you for the next day. So its understandable but a little frustrating. Other things to be mindful of are things like no fireworks, or sparklers, certain candles, etc (read your contract so its not a surprise).
5. Your venue rental comes with 8 hours and then of course we booked additional hours. Weekday events are a lot cheaper and because our date was so significant to us, our wedding happened to be on a Tuesday, so we saved some money there.
6. You can also get a tent for outside. American Party place was amazing throughout the entire process, we ended up not getting the tent, so we lost our deposit, but our guest count went down significantly closer to and it wasn’t worth it anymore. But I would also highly recommend them too, and they work with the catering companies and the farm, so info is consistent, and communication is wonderful.
Finally, the shoutouts!
Elise, our coordinator was there every step of the way and honestly made this a seamless process. Providing constant info, feedback and advice was so appreciated and above and beyond. She is a keeper and quite frankly I could not stop singing her praise when I worked with her boss at the end to make the final arrangements.
Chantal (the boss) lol. She was also amazing. She responded promptly to any emails she was CC’d on regarding questions I may have had about times, rehearsals, décor etc. When we did our final sit down with her, she went through everything that I had mentioned was important to myself or my husband, had all our vendors info, we went through everything with a fine-tooth comb, and it was so appreciated. It really put my mind at ease. They did a fantastic job. She went through our vision with us and ensured that the tables were place exactly where I had asked and even made it accessible for some of the heavier items to be moved. She definitely made it very accessible to all our other vendors. It was perfect!

Kellie was the host in the morning, she helped so much getting everything set up everything. She was so friendly, and she did not have to but she took so much stress out with helping with ideas on where to moves stuff to create more space etc. Heidi was the host from who took over an hour before the wedding started to the end of the night. She also helped so much, she was helping pack up, giving feedback on how things were looking. Both women were there the day of to oversee everything, neither one of them had to at all but both were helping to unload the trees in the morning and break them up and reload them at the end of the night, the decor, helping my friends and families set the tables, clean up everything. It was above and beyond any expectation I could have had. They were AMAZING and I cannot share enough how much I appreciated having them there. At the end of the night, Heidi even did a walk through to ensure there was no reason I would not get my deposit back. She checked the bridal suit, groomsmen area and the grounds. She was so nice! I am so thankful to the staff at Kelley Farms and so blessed to have had the experience and the wedding we did. It was perfect.

You will NOT regret this venue!!!
The Kelley Farm was the perfect venue! The service was phenomenal, the location is perfect, and it’s is absolutely Stunning!!! The Kelley farms team was amazing Elise and Chantal were fantastic! Heidi did a DREAM of a job on our wedding day! I couldn’t have imagined this day without the Kelley games team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! -

Perfect Day at the Perfect Place!
This could not have been a better venue to get married at! It was a joy working with Elise from start to finish. She understood what we were looking for and how to get us to the finish line. She was understanding on how the whole process of finding a venue was stressful and was more than patient with us when it came time to finalize everything. When it came time for the actual wedding day, everything went smoothly, granted I was the bride and had my blinders on;) But to me, Elise was beyond helpful and even helped the bridal party feel more confident in walking down the aisle and even helped the flower girl and ring bearers. Overall, I can't say enough good things about Kelley Farm and the wonderful staff that work there.

We are so so thankful that we chose to have our wedding take place at The Kelley Farm! The venue is BEAUTIFUL for all seasons of the year, but above that the staff is amazing all around. Such a beautiful venue! We had our wedding here on a weekday in August, so it was amazingly priced and the weather was as perfect as could be. Staff were super responsive and made a mock up of our wedding day decor/furniture arrangement which was so helpful for my planning process. Highly recommend it, just keep in mind you'll have to use their food vendors (we went with Cascadia Pizza, delicious). -

Truly Exceptional!!
We visited the property in January of 2020 and put a deposit down the same day we fell SO in love with it! But, as everyone in the world knows, the pandemic hit and through our original plan into chaos. As time got closer to our date our anxiety was overwhelming. Chantal was so understanding and did everything she could to accommodate us. She was able to use our deposit and redirect funds to cover not only the venue but the officiant and photographer as well!! She went so above and beyond, despite all the chaos and uncertainty of this year we had a wonderful, intimate wedding and I am so so thankful for choosing them for the Kelley Farm was truly wonderful! -

What a wonderful great place to get married! Since i was little driving by the farm I've always wanted to get married there. We got married right when the Coronavirus hit hard, thankfully we were able to still have our wedding but we had to go from a large group to only 50 people including the workers. This was the hardest thing for us as a couple wanting the most amazing wedding we dreamed of, thankfully Kelley Farm and all my vendors all stood by our sides through the whole thing and were communicative and understanding and there for us. The venue is absolutely stunning and very clean and affordable! I highly recommend the farm! Thank you guys!! -

The Kelley Farm, is not only beautiful, but so easy to work with. They helped in every little thing we needed, and were so responsive. The day of our wedding went by so fast, but went down without any issues. They allowed us to use everything the venue has to offer, and we did. It helped us stick to our country roots, and allow us to host a rustic wedding! We could not believe that we got so lucky to have The Kelley Farm host our once in a life time wedding, and will remember it always. -

Choosing The Kelley Farm for our wedding venue was one of the best choices we made! The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The barn was the perfect fit for the elegant, rustic feel we envisioned. Working with Jess from the first time we toured the property to finalizing the details a week before our wedding, was wonderful. Jess is very responsive and so knowledgeable. Everything was arranged just how we wanted the day of our wedding. So many of our guests commented on what an amazing, gorgeous venue it was and we couldn’t agree more! -

The venue was ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmazing. My husband was in charge the picking the venue. He picked one venue, we visited it, and signed a contract the next day. KF took away many breaths at our wedding 6/8. The weather was iffy literally the day before and have been checking the forecast every day. We originally booked a tent for peach of mind in case of PNW crazy weather. Jess at Kelley Farm was so responsive and we ended up cancelling the tent and we're so soooo happy we did. I didn't decorate the venue too much, because the venue itself is naturally beautiful with the landscape, flowers, and farmland. Amazing venue!!!! -

Initially, my now husband and I were up in the air whether to have the wedding in CA or WA, but after we saw Kelley Farm, it was a no-brainer. I was worried planning from afar may complicate things but that wasn't the case at all. Jess, the venue manager, was super responsive to all my emails and request for multiple tours, meetings, and recommendations over the year plus of planning. I'm actually going to really miss talking to her! lol. We had some special request that they were happy to accommodate, or make suggestions of other things that were better fit for the venue. I also really liked that there was a list of catering partners that they worked with. I can see how some people may find that restricting, but for us it made the process much easier to have it already narrowed down and KNOW that those caterers knew how to work and set up the venue.
Oh, and did I mention that this place is downright GORGEOUS! As I said, I saw it multiple times over the year, so it was everywhere from pouring rain to over 100 degrees (our wedding day... apparently the hottest day on record there, ever!) and each time was beautiful in its own way. I've had a ton of our guest tell us that was one of the most beautiful places they have been for a wedding.
So yeah, 5 stars across the board :) I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Kelley farm is such a beautiful property. Truly breath taking- the hardship is communication with the venue itself and understanding just what is covered at the beginning and the odds and ends you pay for along the way, as well as the rehearsal fee.
All in all it’s a beautiful location and the bridal cottage and photo opportunities are everywhere, it’s worth a visit! -

They are just starting out so we defiantly ran into some road blocks. but if you are willing to be patient and as they try to work out some of the kinks, it’s worth it. I also got a great price but now that they know what a great venue they have I’m sure rates will go up. By far the most beautiful barn venue in the south sound. -

My husband and I got married at Kelley Farms on October 1st, 2025 after booking and planning our wedding with them since July of 2024. I wish more than anything that I could give a higher rating for this venue, but after the culmination of experiences we had, I cannot in good conscience give them any higher than 2/5 stars in total.
Summary: Beautiful venue, great amenities. However, severe communication breakdowns and poor treatment of bridal party and bridal family on day of event were a letdown.
The Pros:
To start on a positive note, Kelley Farms is an absolutely stunning venue with wonderful amenities. They have ample onsite parking that is within steps of the ceremony / reception space, making parking and walking a breeze for everyone. They have a beautiful cottage for the ladies to get ready in, and they have a very cute shed for the gentlemen. Our coordinator, Devan, was also absolutely lovely to speak with, and was very kind and caring when sitting down with us to finalize details for our wedding. They also have a wonderful ability to host either indoor or outdoor weddings depending on weather with a beautiful indoor barn. (They also have some great preferred vendors!) They were also wonderful and went out with hairdryers to make sure all seats were dry before our guests arrived.
The Cons:
Between booking our wedding in July of 2024 and getting married in October of 2025, the venue changed management which led to significant, and detrimental, breakdowns in communication. After our initial coordinator left, we struggled to get even the most basic information back (after repeated emails and calls). We spent almost two months trying to get an answer to one question about if we could cater breakfast and lunch for the bridal party, for example. We ended up having to get our day of coordinators to reach out on our behalf one month before our wedding to finally get an answer. The venue also refused to return calls and emails to my mother (who was listed as a contact, and as the one paying for the venue) when she reached out to inquire about some day-of information. One of the main reasons we booked Kelley Farms was their adorable herd of Highland cows, which we were promised would be moved to the pen below the outdoor ceremony space so that they would be visible in our pictures, and never happened (a real bummer as it was the thing we were most looking forward to). This may have been a decision made due to the weather on the day of the wedding, but there was no communication regarding this decision. In the same vein, we payed for and were promised white drapes on either side of the alter, and those were not placed. This may again have been due to the weather, but we were not informed or refunded for not being able to have them placed. This leads up to perhaps the most disappointing, the treatment my mother and bridal party received on the day of the wedding and the days following. My mother, maid of honor, and one of my bridesmaids all approached our day of venue contact for assistance moving the dress hanger from inside the makeup room to the other space inside the cottage (to protect the dresses from makeup and hairspray). The hanger had never been in the makeup room during any of our tours of the venue, but we were told that it was in that room and there was no ability to move it. (They all reached out at different times due to the day of contact ignoring requests). All reported that the day of venue contact was cold, dismissive, and seemingly irritated that they asked for help. She had to be asked for help multiple times before she, very reluctantly, came in to try and assist us. The entire process took well over an hour and without any real effort, she walked in, told us we were stuck with where it was, and she walked back out. We never got her name, as it was not someone we had ever met before (and not Devan who we had been working with). I am also sad to report that my maid of honor reached out five times the week following the wedding to inquire about a jacket that was left, and has never received any follow up. -
