  Bridal shower and wedding - just perfection

  Jen is amazing in her expertise, customer prioritization, and generally a full complement of capabilities to lower/eliminate the stress and increase the joy of the occasion. Together with Ariana and Caitlin, The Joy Standard contributions included design and acquisition, handling logistics, coordinating vendors, and being on site to ensure our daughter's bridal shower and wedding were the amazing and joyous events we and our guests enjoyed so greatly.

  Jen is amazing in her expertise, customer prioritization, and generally a full complement of capabilities to lower/eliminate the stress and increase the joy of the occasion. Together with Ariana and Caitlin, The Joy Standard contributions included design and acquisition, handling logistics, coordinating vendors, and being on site to ensure our daughter's bridal shower and wedding were the amazing and joyous events we and our guests enjoyed so greatly.

  The.Most.Amazing.Wedding.Ever.

  I cannot fully express how happy we were with The Joy Standard at the helm of our daughter's wedding plans. With 3 months to plan a wedding in a pandemic, Jen and Caitlin delivered it not just with ease but they made it fun! We had quite the wishlist, from a custom dance floor to an espresso bar to a cigar roller to custom furniture rentals, and they made it all happen, while ever mindful of our budget. And it was beautiful beyond our wildest dreams. You will be floored by the pics! This dynamic sister duo make an exceptional team, so talented and genuinely sweet, so fun to be around. We cannot wait to host another party with them, highly recommend is an understatement!

  I can't even begin to explain how amazing Jen and Cait are. They truly made my wedding dreams come to life. From the moment my husband and I met them, we knew we had made the right decision. Jen and Cait helped us every step of the way and working with them was the least stressful part of wedding planning. They kept me organized, sourced amazing vendors, and handled all the nitty gritty vendor details. I would have been lost without them. On the day of the wedding, I was able to just enjoy the day knowing that they would handle everything. If you're contemplating getting a planner, hire The Joy Standard!

  Amazing! 10/10 recommend!

  We hired The Joy Standard for partial planning, design, and coordination. Jen and Caitlin went 100% above and beyond—we are SO grateful to them. When I first reached out to them, I was panicking because I had planned about 50% of the wedding and then realized I was in way over my head. From there, they not only helped ease the workload by taking over many of the vendor communications (including all of the final check-ins, schedules, and week-of arrangements), but they also helped take my design vision to the next level. Our wedding was absolutely stunning thanks to them! Towards the end, I was probably texting them every single day with questions, photos, etc—they never made me feel like a nuisance (though I probably was), and continued going above and beyond to make my life easier. Jen even picked up decor items from our house and stored them all at her own home to deliver herself on the morning of the wedding. In order to help us save a few hundred dollars in rental delivery fees, she offered to accept a shipment of rentals (tables and glassware) at her home a few days before the wedding. On the day/night of the wedding, she let my dad park his antique car at her personal garage because the venue didn’t have an appropriate parking space and she happened to live nearby. Jen and Caitlin ensured all the decor, place settings, etc were set up correctly and helped to break everything down and organize it all into boxes after the wedding. They both run a very tight ship, and it really helped provide me peace of mind to know that they were on top of every little detail on the wedding day. They were so so professional, highly recommend.

  Our perfect day! 🤍💙

  Jen was an actually LIFESAVER during our wedding! We knew from the start that we wanted a coordinator for our big day, and Jen made all our dreams come true. Through the whole process, she was extremely responsive, super easy to work with and made sure we were on track the entire time. On our wedding day, it poured at points, mass ran over 30 minutes and our venue had no power when we arrived - Jen didn’t even flinch and took care of it completely. Honestly I don’t know what we would have done without her!!

  The best hands down

  How do I even put into words how grateful I am for Jen and Cait? They were our North Star when we were wandering lost. They guided us through wedding planning - in a pandemic, no less! - with the most beautiful kindness. They had every detail down and bore the burden of so much stress and planning for us, giving us space to truly enjoy and revel in the process. The wedding day itself was a dream thanks to their efforts. Even our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about them. They went above and beyond for us at every step of the way. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

  Incredible wedding planners!!

  Jen and Cait were absolutely amazing. I'm a big planner and logistics are so important for me. I realized we needed a planner for our wedding because I didn't want to have to worry about the little things the day of. I've been in so many weddings where the bridesmaids/other people in the wedding are asked to do things and run around and it was important for me that everyone got to relax the morning and day of our wedding. When I first talked with Jen and Cait, I knew they'd be so great and hired them right away. We hired them for the 2 month day of coordination and they went completely above and beyond every step of the way. We were planning during Covid and they really helped put our minds at ease that we were making the right decisions along the way, and put the extra effort in to make sure we always had a plan A, B, and C. They created a minute by minute timeline for the day of and it was so great to know that everything would work out seamlessly. They worked with my photographer to make sure their timelines worked together, and they reached out to every vendor to share the timeline with them so that everyone was on the same page. That made the day run SOO smoothly. They drove to our venue to ask hard questions that we weren't comfortable asking, came completely prepared the day of and helped run small errands for the groomsman. They had everything covered and I couldn't have asked for a better team to but my trust in for our big day. We'll be using them for any big event we have moving forward!!

  Best Wedding Planners EVER!

  We canceled our wedding in Aruba a month out and decided to plan a backyard wedding in NJ instead. I was frantically looking for a wedding planner once we decided to plan a whole new wedding with only a month to go. I lucked out and found the Joy Standard. If you are planning a backyard wedding the first thing you should do is contact them. One sister takes care of the design while the other handles the logistics. They were amazing - went above and beyond. Were extremely organized - worked within our budget. EXTREMELY detail oriented, walked through every single detail with us so we felt comfortable. Ran out to get more Prosecco when we ran out during the wedding and bustled my dress when no one knew how to. Our wedding wouldn't have happened without them. Everyone couldn't believe that we put together such a beautiful event in only a month's time. I can’t wait to have another event so I can hire them.

  Event planning perfection!

  We used Joy Standard Events to throw an upscale dinner party celebrating our niece and her fiancé who are getting married in September. We couldn't have been more happy with the event! Their creative vision of every element of our party was executed perfectly. They didn't miss a detail; from the invitations, to the flowers, to the signage, to the table scape and the delicious food! Our guests were wowed by it all!
  
  As the hostess, I did very little preparation for this fabulous event because it was all handled so professionally by their team. They are easy to work with, super responsive and go above and beyond to understand their clients' ideas, thoughts and vision of the event. I highly recommend them and will use them again for sure!

  My wife and I recently got married and worked with Jen and Caitlin. They did an AMAZING job. They made the entire process fun and easy. I would highly recommend working with them for any event. They went above and beyond what we expected. Here are some specifics:
  - Communicated regularly throughout the entire planner process. They kept us on track and made it fun making all of the big decisions. Jen and Caitlin also worked with both of our parents throughout the planning process as well.
  - They worked directly with our vendors and volunteered to help us with tasks we didn't even hire them for. Example - Jen helped us secure a porta-john.
  - They negotiated prices directly with some of the vendors.
  - Visited the venue several times before the wedding.
  - On the day of, they jumped in and helped everything run smooth. For example - my mother had a huge migraine and was supposed to set up a lot of the flowers. Jen and Caitlin jumped in and made it happen last minute.They went out mid party to get more alcohol. We also underpaid one of the vendors by accident and Jen proactively paid and let us know after so we could enjoy the night.
  
  Overall, Jen and Caitlin made the entire process stress-free and fun. They are well worth bringing on board!

We trusted them with every detail and they always delivered. Ryan and I were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding because of them.
