Like Family

Fabiola has dealt with my husband and I since 2019. We originally had our wedding for 2020 then had to postpone it due to the pandemic. They were so flexible and so helpful. They were understanding through it all. Fabiola and her team made us feel like family. I highly suggest IABC for ANY occasion!

Continuing Education Event

The entire experience at the Italian American Banquet center was fantastic. The venue space is very clean and beautiful! Every employee that I was in contact with (waitstaff and management) were fantastic to work with.

Special shout outs to Kathy, with all her help from planning to the execution of the event. To Wayne (and staff) from Rockout Entertainment for their help with the audio and visual.

I would highly recommend the Italian American Banquet Center for any event, you will not be disappointed!

WCRC Reagan Dinner

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made the process smooth and the food was as always very good.

I recommend this venue to everyone, because of the dedication of the staff to customer service, which at times in this day and age is missing.

My 40th masquerade ball

In June I celebrated my 40th masquerade ball. And I had a ball every thing was perfect my guess love it and the food was excellent. I will consider having other events there.

What a dream!

Fabiola and her staff at the Italian American Banquet Center were so great, from the moment we had interest to the day of, and even during the craziness of the pandemic, they helped us through it all. The remodeling is absolutely gorgeous and the food is incredible! We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful!

I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Italian American Banquet Center and It was absolutely beautiful. The venue was nice and clean, newly renovated, and the food was delicious. I have received so many compliments about the food and how beautiful things were. Fabiola was great to work with and made the process so easy. We felt it was a great choice.

Truly Magical Evening!

We had an amazing reception at the Italian American Banquet and Conference Center. Fabiola was the best, she was so accommodating from our first time visiting the venue to the actual day. She answered every email and phone call promptly and even met separately with my mother when she had additional questions. We had our reception and bridal shower here, both were perfect. The food is amazing, I got so many compliments on the food from my guests. Especially the fruit and pastry display, which was beautiful! The staff were very friendly and the venue was absolutely stunning. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience here. Truly a magical evening!

Can not say enough good things about this place and neither could our guests! The food here is amazing!! Everyone particularly loved the palomino pasta. Fabiola was great to work with and was great keeping us up to date with all the changes with COVID. Was well priced and worth every penny.

Pleasant/Flexible/Adaptive

In the midst of a Pandemic we really appreciated IABC and their flexibility in working with us to help make our day special. We certainly would have loved to had our reception in their beautiful facility but due to Covid-19 that was not an option. They quickly adapted to the situation and worked with us to provide us what we were invisioning in which our guests loved. Fabiola and her staff did an amazing job and are very pleasant to work with. We will definitely be using them in the future!

A Perfect Venue!

We booked with the Italian American 2 years before our wedding date for October 2020. We fell inlove with the venue and the packages they offer. Even after the January 2020 upgrades we still loved the venue space. Fabiola, Vicki and the team were a join to work with! I loved seeing them at bridal shows and they remembered you by name! Also enjoy the way they do their annual tastings for couples who booked with them and meeting their preferred vendors. Even with Covid they provided us with options and flexibility and kept us up to date with what was happening. We had to change plans twice due to covid and they were on top of it! The quality of food and service are top notch! You will not get a more perfect venue for ceremony and reception nor team anywhere else! I highly recommend others getting married to speak with them about how they can make your wedding beautiful!

Great to work with during COVID-19

We had originally booked the larger of the two rooms. When COVID hit, then we booked the full ballroom in order to do more social distancing. We found out 10 days before the wedding that the local government orders wouldn’t allow us to use that space anymore. Fabiola and the team at IABC did the best they can to accommodate us. We ended up doing a small dinner at home after the ceremony which I asked if they could cater for. The food was amazing! And although the day wasn’t exactly how we envisioned, it was perfect. Thank you very much IABC!! We hope to have other events here in the future.

IAC Team is the absolute best. They are kind, caring, loving and very professional. We love IAC and are so thankful they were apart of our wedding day

IAC is beyond beautiful. The team is amazing, the venue is stunning and the food is out of this world. The service we have received from IAC was remarkable. We will forever be thankful for the love and support they provided us while planning our 2020 wedding. We were lucky enough to have our bridal shower at IAC but unfortunately not our reception. IAC stuck with us the entire way and made sure to help us feel loved and supported through it all. We love the IAC and will always recommend them for any special event. A very special thank you to Fabiola for making our experience the absolute best.

COVID wedding miracle

When COVID started in March, we figured there was no way it would continue to August. When May came around, we made the decision to postpone to November. Our original venue couldn’t accommodate an outdoor event. (Yes I know outdoor in November in Michigan is nuts.) we decided to cut our guest list and wanted an outdoor tented event. IABC to the rescue. They worked with us so much to make our wedding day perfect. When it came down to the day, we were able to have an INDOOR wedding in their beautifully renovated hall. The food was incredible. Fabiola was very responsive and quick to contact us when we had any issues or questions. They were willing to do outdoor if needed. We were fortunate to be able to adhere to CDC guidelines and state legislature recommendations and have the wedding of our dreams. I highly recommend this place.

Stress Free

With all of the changes because of COVID, we were constantly changing plans. The staff here was excellent. They were responsive, cooperative and helpful every step of the way. The food was amazing and servers attentive on the day of. Even though we had to move outside in a tent, the transition was smooth. Even our guests commented that it felt like it was our “Plan A”.

IABC is amazing!!

IABC is stunning; it took my breath away!! We had our ceremony outside under the gazebo, it’s beautiful. The hall is newly remodeled and it is stunning. We could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding and reception! The food was amazing, many of our guests had seconds and thirds!

Surprise Birthday Party

They were great to work with. I called about 20 places to find a venue that would work with us during the pandemic. They were the only place that enthusiastically worked with us. They were flexible with scheduling due to ever changing restrictions and had a great plan in place to allow social distancing and sanitized. The facility and outdoor garden and tent area was beautiful. Staff was friendly and accommodating and food was great. I highly recommend them.

IABC Should Be Your #1 Venue of Choice

As my fiancé and I began looking for a wedding venue, upon visiting IABC we were pretty much sold on the venue. The Grand Ballroom was exactly the type of venue we were looking for to accommodate the size of our wedding as well as capture the ambiance we were looking for. Upon our initial meeting with Vicky, who was incredibly sweet and informative, we were happy to learn the venue could not only cater to our needs but was also budget friendly compared to other venues we looked at! I can’t imagine our wedding reception taking place anywhere else as everything came together so perfectly that day. Fabiola, the general manager, worked personally with us on many details of our wedding. She not only exceeded our expectations for the reception but held us by the hand through the final details so as to alieve some of our worries about last minute details. The day of our wedding and in the weeks following, we heard from many of our guests that our wedding was one of the best they’ve ever attended. We know this wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible help from the Italian American Banquet Center staff and the venue which helped make it all possible!

The very best experience!

I had my wedding at the IABC in November and everything was perfect! The location was so beautiful and the food was fantastic (I still get compliments on it!) My husband and I also really appreciated the evening of taste so that we could be confident in our menu selections. The entire planning process was so effortless with Vicki - she was responsive to my calls/emails, answered all of my questions and concerns, and was always so thorough! Although they are busy planning and hosting tons of weddings, they always made sure to make my day feel special! I would highly recommend the IABC to anyone looking for a beautiful, stress-free venue that doesn't empty your bank account! :) It is going to be even more beautiful with the new renovations!

Amazing day thanks to them!

Working with the team at IABC was absolutely perfect! Fabiola and Vicki were literally my safety net in the entire planning process and were my favorite vendors to work with. Beautiful Venue!

We had our reception at IABC and it was absolutely perfect. The venue is beautiful -- we love the big windows in the ballroom, lighting around the room, and the grounds were perfect nice for our sunset pictures. Vicky and Fabiola were outstanding throughout the entire process. I don’t think it ever took more than a day to get a response to an email, and they were totally flexible and so helpful. Pricing was transparent and surprisingly affordable. It was one of the least expensive venues we looked at in our search, but it was also our favorite. We’re really happy that we decided to have our reception here and would recommend it to anyone else!

IABC was amazing to work with, Fabiola specifically. She made us feel like family and really did everything to make our day perfect. The Italian American banquet hall was amazing. The hall and staff will ensure your wedding is everything you want and more. Vicki and Fabiola were there for me every step of the way! It’s a beautiful hall, and I loved that you could get married right outside. My husband and I were extremely happy. The price below included our bar, food, and more. Excellent Venue

When we first started to look at wedding venues, IABC was the quickest to respond to our requests for information (and it wasn’t even close) and they remained extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. Fabiola and the staff at IABC walked us through every step, and we always felt like we were in good hands. The room was beautiful, and the food was great—more like what you’d expect at a nice Italian restaurant rather than what you’d typically expect for wedding food. We couldn’t be happier with how smoothly things went on the big day.

Your perfect day just got better

Fabiola and Nikki were easy to deal with, and very knowledgeable about any and all reception-related questions. From our first meeting until the last guest left the reception, everything was handled professionally, and every one of our guests commented immensely on how beautifully decorated the room was, how delicious the food was, and how friendly the bar and wait staff were. An elegant and beautiful facility for a special day.

We had so many compliments on the food and service at your facility. The whole experience from the time we first toured your banquet center until the reception was over was excellent. You truly made our special day and event to remember with fondness. It was everything we had hoped it would be, beautiful, elegant and fun. The IABC was awesome! Vicky and Fabiola were so helpful in planning our reception there including giving advice on all aspects of our wedding day. The staff during the reception were so nice and friendly and everything looked amazing and the food was so good! Definitely recommend!

Great Venue!

The Italian American Banquet Center was very easy to work with in planning our wedding! The staff is very professional and are very easy to get in touch with (email/phone.) The venue is BEAUTIFUL and our 200 guests were very comfortable in the space. The food was delicious and everything went as planned on the day of our wedding. We could not have asked for a better experience in working with The Italian American Banquet Center!

An Evening to Remeber

What a perfect October evening it was when family and friends gathered on the patio of the Italian American Club to celebrate the marriage of Amy Chapman and Christopher Pinta. We cold not have asked for a more lovely venue for their ceremony. Weather was perfect, dinner outstanding and the assistance we had from the moment they scheduled the wedding and until the last guest left. Outstanding. !!!! Thank you for making the evening so memorable for our daughter and new son.

My husband and I had our wedding at the IABC. We were married outside in the gazebo and continued the celebration In the lower level.

Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! From the gazebo,to the venue and the food-everything was absolutely wonderful and stress free. All of the staff at the IABC were extremely professional, accommodating and friendly. Thank you for making our special day everything we had hoped for - and then so much much more!

November wedding

From the moment we walked in the door the first time, we knew was the place for our wedding. The staff is amazing to work with and there to help you every step of the way! Great Venue and Team

The venue is beautiful inside. They are so flexible and willing to work with the couple to make sure the day is perfect. Our wedding was supposed to be outside but two minutes before showtime it started to rain. They quickly moved the wedding inside and had everything prepared within minutes. Such an amazing group of people there, great staff!

Best wedding food

Including our own, we had three weddings in 6 weeks to attend and our experience at the Italian American Club was the best and the guests complimented our food the most. Our guests had an amazing time.

Fabiola is fabulous!

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! From the very beginning and all throughout the planning and execution of the reception, Fabiola was fabulous, very accommodating and willing to work with us. Fabiola ensured that everything went off exactly as desired and was very attentive during the event to make sure that it was a success. This allowed the Bride and the Mother of the Bride to enjoy the reception because Fabiola took care of the details. The venue was spacious. The bartenders were very friendly and professional. The food was terrific, and very well prepared, especially the pasta, which received compliments from everyone! The pizza at the end of the evening was a hit. This will be the first place we will recommend to anyone looking for a wedding reception venue. Thank you very much for making a very memorable celebration all the more spectacular.

We didn't look anywhere else and neither should you!

It has always been a dream to have my wedding reception at the Italian American Banquet Center. The location is central in the Metro Detroit area, the venue itself is stunning and the food is out of this world.
My sister was married at the IABC in 2016 and guests were still talking about how amazing their meal was at her wedding. This only reinforced my fiancé (now husband) and I’s decision to have our reception at the IABC. We did not even look at other venues. We simply had our wedding on the first available day for both the church and the IABC.
Fabiola, banquet manager, was more than helpful. She is quick to respond via email or phone and even let us set up the venue early!
Nandi, sous chef, is extremely talented. There isn’t one item of lesser quality on the menu, all is equal. My two favorites that he makes is the roasted salmon and the chicken cordon bleu - I’m not much of a red meat fan so to be honest I haven’t tried the NY Strip but my grandpa and husband are obsessed. You just can not go wrong.
Trust me you will not regret having your reception at the Italian American Banquet Center. You will be in great hands with Fabiola and Nandi will leave your guests dreaming of his food. I know this because I have had dreams of his roasted salmon.

Amazing Venue with amazing food.

I had all 3 of my children get married here, I've had showers as well and I'm sad I don't have anymore kids because I would definitely use IAC over and over. Fabiola and her team are fabulous to work with and they truly make your event memorable. The beautiful lighting, open windows, etc. make the room so inviting and warm. Did I mention the FOOD!? Outstanding!!!! Our guests talk about it for months after. You will NOT be disappointed having your event here, you will love it and walk away with the same beautiful memories we did.

I cannot describe how awesome IABC was for hosting our wedding reception. From the beginning they were on point for staying in communication and helping us out with any of our needs. My husband and I live in Georgia, so trying to plan from out of state was difficult, but the ladies at IABC went above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed for a magical evening. The venue was clean and beautiful. They're easy to work with other vendors coming in. Everything ran smoothly from beginning to end with staff. The food was phenomenal! I had so many compliments on the food and how terrific it was compared to "typical banquet food". I also had a ton of compliments on the venue itself. I highly recommend IABC for any banquet needs, not just weddings!

Our wedding was September 16, 2018 and it went beautifully! The Italian American Banquet Center of Livonia provides exceptional service at a reasonable cost. My husband and I never felt like we were being over-charged or coerced into upgrading items for our wedding. The staff is genuine and supportive of your vision for your big day! We are so thankful we chose this location for our reception and highly recommend to anyone looking to have a beautiful ballroom style reception! You won't regret it!

Fabiola Bruce did a WONDERFUL job on our last minute wedding preparation at the final week of our special day. We have booked the Grand Ballroom - up to 325 guests with kids! Excellent food (everyone loved the dinner) and the late night pizza was hit! . The hall is very Elegant -we didn't have to do much decorating because of the Chandeliers and marble flooring. If you want the WHOLE place to yourself - Reserve the Grand Ballroom. It is a perfect place for your special day.

Everyone and everything was exactly as we expected. We have held our club banquet at this location for many years and I think our group and your group work well together. The only thing that I heard from some of the guests was that the tables were too close together. Since we do not use the floor for dancing or anything else, I am hoping to space out the tables a little more for our guests.

We had our reception for our baby's baptism at this place and we are so happy and impressed with our experience. I wasn't the easiest person to work with. I must have change the people count 4 or 5 times and they were very polite and accommodating each time it changed. The set up of tables was more than I expected and the food was absolutely wonderful. Also the appetizers were fantastic. Overall the guest really enjoyed themselves and had a good time. The girls who orchestrated this event did a great job and should be commended for it.

Everyone commented on how good the food was and the staff was on top of everything. In the beginning of the process it was a little rocky but we sorted everything out and it made for a perfect reception! They were very accommodating and willing to listen to our ideas.

This was my second time use the Italian American. Their food is amazing and even though they didn't offer a few thing I had in mind, they made it happen for me. They never said no to any of my crazy ideas, and always were right there to help. If I had a third daughter I'd be back again. Can't recommend them enough.

I have hosted numerous events at the Italian American Banquet and Conference Center. I am 100% Italian and have consumed my fare share of pasta. I must say that my favorite, except for my grandma's is at this venue. My family comes in from Chicago just for the pasta!
The service is always wonderful and the sales staff and management strive to make sure your event meets all your expectations. I highly recommend this venue, The pricing is very reasonable and the quality of the food and service is always outstanding. Book your event here, you will feel confident that your guests will be pleased!

I couldn't have asked more of a reception hall for my son's wedding. The staff assisted us through all the planning and accommodated all our requests for last minute changes. The wait staff was very professional and did an awesome job serving our plated meals. The food was amazing, the hall looked elegant and our guests had a wonderful time. I had my beautiful wedding there on July 8th, 2017. Fabiola and Whitney did an unbelievable job making sure my wedding was taken care of from the very first day we met with them. It has been a month since our wedding and our guests are STILL talking about how wonderful it was, how beautiful the venue was, and especially talking how great the food was! These two wonderful ladies are so accommodating, so responsive, and just great people to deal with. We looked forward to our meetings - which helped make stressful planning fun! I mean...nobody wants to dread constantly going to meeting after meeting with people who don't help you and don't appreciate your vision. The personnel and coordinators did a wonderful job in working with all the parties involved in the wedding and it came off wonderfully. Their expertise, guidance and flexibility helped create a wonderful experience which was executed flawlessly.

We have had our Christmas Party here for a number of years. Everyone is very professional and welcoming. The room is always beautiful and the staff is very attentive during the event. I changed up our menu this year, the food was delicious and it was a big hit! Thank you for providing outstanding service year after year.

Our wedding was perfect. We could not have asked for a better reception location or a better time. Everything went perfectly and was taken care of for us. We did not have one care in the world when it came to the reception because we knew Fabiola and Whitney had taken such amazing care of us. From the bottom of our hearts, we love the Italian American Center staff and could not be happier with our decision.

Fabiola and the team are first class. The food is delicious and a great value. The room was set up as we imagined and all details were available making it an easy evening for our event. We will be back

We are very happy we chose the IABC as our venue. They were very accommodating and helped us at every step along the way. The planning staff is very friendly and the service during the reception was phenomenal. We received many compliments about the food and setup of the venue. We highly recommend the IABC as your wedding venue.

We had our wedding reception at the Italian American Club. When asked by many people prior to the wedding where the reception was being held, I would tell them the IAC and I would immediately hear "The food there is so good!" It is true; the food is delicious and plentiful. The whole process of planning the event with Fabiola, Linda, and Whitney went smoothly; they made organizing our wedding easy and fun. They were accommodating every step of the way, from giving us the option to get a keg of a specialty beer to individualize our bar selection to being there the night of to make sure everything was going as planned. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone.

The Italian American Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. Everything ran smoothly and Linda and Fabiola were more flexible than I could have ever asked for. The evening went smoothly and the gorgeous windows allowed for beautiful lighting that many other venues don't have.

This is the 2nd year we have used the Italian American Banquet Center for our Corporate Event Patent Dinner. The staff is professional, prompt, flexible and a true pleasure to work with, from everyone at the event staff to the catering and waitstaff. They were wonderful with suggestions on layout, menu items (including last minute changes), setup for the event and making every bit of hard work look seamless. Calls were returned promptly and professionally. I have always had great confidence in recommending this venue for both the staff and the venue itself (wonderful setup and very elegant).

This was my 3rd shower at the Italian American Banquet Center of Livonia. Fabiola and her team are a pleasure to work with. The food is delicious, the décor beautiful and the center is modern and clean. I have received rave reviews from my guests about the venue and food.
