    The gentleman I worked with (Vito) was extremely professional and courteous not only to me and my bride, but also to all my guests.     After hearing about them from my cousin we decided to use them. The staff was very prodessional, but what stood out the most was how comfortable they made us. The entire experience was a breath of fresh air. From the bouquet of roses received the week of the wedding, to the special accommodations despite our last minute request. Very friendly, very professional. Beautiful experience.

    I'm very happy with the services I received from the Intimate Portfolio 3mths ago. Vito is a class act and was so flexible with us, especially with all the last minute changes my husband and I made before and during the ceremony (we live in Tampa, but were married in Atlanta). His prices were so economical, considering the high quality product of photos we received from him. What was the most striking thing I noticed is that he treated us like family. He wasn't trying to make a buck. He loves what he does and it shows. Most photographers charge an arm and a leg for a fraction of what we got from him and lesser quality. I'd highly recommend him for all-things photography. When we have our baby in 4mths, we will be contacting him to take the baby's first photos!

    We were referred to The Intimate Portfolio thru a friend who used their services in Charlotte, NC. We live in Florida (Orlando) and were very happy to know that they operate out of multiple states. We met Vito and immediately hit it off. He was very professional, and very accommodating to our request (some of which weren't typical). The staff was very punctual, very attentive, and treated us as if we were family. The quality of the work was top flight, and the pricing was better than most we encountered through our search. We plan to use them for our Maternity shoot, and would gladly refer them to anyone we know!

    We had engagement photos taken (they were included in our wedding package). Vito was very professional, made us feel completely at ease and the pictures were awesome. He got the preliminary pictures to us in less than a week. I can't wait for our wedding to see those pictures because I know they are going to be out of this world. Thank you Vito for doing such a great job. You really make us look forward to our wedding.

    My husband and I learned about The Intimate Portfolio after attending the wedding of my cousin in Orlando last year. Our date wasn't set at the time, but we were very excited about working with them when we saw their work for her. Although a different photographer did my cousins wedding, we had a blast with Vito who we later learned is the actual owner. He and his team were very funny, very relaxed, and just very professional. One thing that stood out the most the fact that he wasn't so scripted. They used specific poses, but he just had a knack for capturing certain moments that often go missed by the naked eye. We would refer these guys to anyone in a heartbeat! Thank you Vito & Jeff!

    Veto was an excellent photographer to work with, very easy going and accommodating to our style. Our pictures are absolutely stunning and I am so happy we choose him. My sister liked the photos so much she used him for her wedding! Thanks Veto!

    Took A LOT of great photos of my wedding party, and family and friends. Were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would change is the responsiveness. Still waiting on my photos ( and I understand it takes a while for photos to be developed). Overall great place and I would definitely use them again.

    I thoroughly researched and read the reviews for this vendor although I read the poor review from 2014 we ignored it. Our initial exchanges prior to the wedding went extremely well. He was responsive. The options were great and we got an awesome price. Unfortunately 4 months later, and the day before the wedding this all changed. There was inclement weather, and because he contracted with an "out of city " photographer who could not physically make it, he couldn't guarantee any other photographers would be available. He wouldn't commit, but he wouldn't release us from the contract to hire someone local. It was extremely stressful to not know if we'd have a photographer the next day. He had some personal/family issues going on which prevented him showing up in person, and there were a lot of other excuses that impacted him, but shouldn’t have impacted us. I thought I was going to have to sue this guy. This vendor experience taught me to never book a photographer vendor that wasn't local again. In the end he provided a photographer who got the job done, it wasn't anyone that we'd met so we all just “winged” it. The photographer who arrived was very kind, thorough & professional ; he apologized for the confusion. There was so much uncertainty we asked our guest to take as many pictures as they could so that we'd have something just in case this guy didn't deliver with finished photos...so we wouldn't be stuck with no memories of the day. The day before the wedding was a horrible but overall the day of photos were high quality & lovely. We got them back quickly. BUT if I could do it all over again, I would have gone with a local photographer and not a contractor. The level of stress and risk weren't worth it for me. Quality of the pictures were awesome the experience was HELL.

    Thank you for your feedback, here's our official response:

    1. (Regarding your statement that the "experience" was "hell"): When you agreed to sign our contract, it was based on our reputation and the viewable work on our company website. Ideally, every wedding will be on the sunniest, brightest day of the calendar. Sadly, yours fell within days of the biggest ice/snowstorm in the region thus far this year. In your own words, the final product was "lovely", "high quality", and "AWESOME"! Under these bizarre weather conditions, we could not ask for a better outcome, and feel it's a bit unfair for you to. You were never in jeopardy of not having coverage. We simply took the amount of time necessary to find you the BEST coverage. Judging by your aforementioned quotes, I think we hit that mark.

    2. (Regarding using a "local photographer" rather than hiring a "contracted non-local photographer"): We operate out of 5 states and the Caribbean, so 70% of the work you see on our website was shot by other photographers who live in our hub cities along the East Coast. The only caveat is that REGARDLESS of who shoots the wedding, I am the ONLY ONE who does final editing and mastering. That is the product I promised, the product you received, and the product you endorsed. It should be noted that in 14yrs of service and over 1000 events, this is only the 2nd time we had this experience. Both times in which we had zero control over the given circumstances. We will continue to work hard to deliver perfection. Best wishes.

    Watch out for this scammer especially if you are in charlotte,This guy lives in Florida and contracts photographers in charlotte. I paid 600 dollars to this guy only for him not to show up on my wedding day.All because he told me I am from African and the photographers he hired didnt want to shoot the wedding cos they were scared of catching Ebola.When He was taking my money he knew very well i was from africa and he took my 600 dollars.He disapointed me on my wedding day and i had to find a photographer on my wedding day.And he had the audacity to tell me he was going to refund me just 100 dollars out of the 600 i gave him.Watch out for him.Big Scammer

    The Intimate Portfolio Photography's reply:

    At the very height of the Ebola scare, you informed me that the day prior to the wedding you had a large group of individuals coming from your country in Africa which borders the very country in which the outbreak happened. When asked to sign an addendum stating that your family was NOT from this region and that you refused. When asked to sign a similar addendum which would have allowed better protection for my staff and myself, you refused. I have a fundamental right to protect my staff under all circumstances and I did what was in the best interest of our business.

    You were given (3) different options, all which would have allowed the business to move forward. You elected not to, which was a red flag. I cannot FORCE my staff to work under questionable circumstances, and neither was I going to try. This is a fair warning to cease and desist, or I will have my legal counsel move forward with action.

    You were told very clearly that you received a discount for our services on that day - which included several hours of labor on a "Sweetheart Website" and beyond. Those hours of labor were not for free, and neither was the money my staff loss for refusing other business on this date. We were prepared to move forward. You elected not to allow us when I informed you that we would ONLY work if we could use gloves, etc. That was a decision you made, and a decision you must live with. The $100 refund was a courtesy, not a requirement.
