Amazing cake and cupcakes! This team was fantastic! I had some cupcakes from the food truck and I was SOLD! Especially through COVID, Holy City Cupcakes were responsive, understanding, and so great to work with. Great price and even better quality. We had both cupcakes and a cake for our wedding, and I'm patiently waiting for our anniversary to eat our cake again! -

We just had Rachel and Holy City Cupcakes for my son's wedding. Not only were they a pleasure to work with in the ordering process, and reasonable in price, the cupcake bar was such a hit. Everyone at the wedding LOVED them. So many people who said they just wanted to try one, ended up getting several of many different combo's. If you have an event and want to wow your guests, this is the right thing for you! -

Amazing flavors
We're a bit late with the review, but we really wanted to take the time to thank Rachel for her touch on our special day. We did not want a huge wedding cake for two main reasons; they’re expensive and we didn’t want to choose a single flavor. We decided to opt for cupcakes and one small cake to for us and to put our wedding topper on. During the tasting, not only did we get an actual big size cupcake for each flavor (we got to take them all home, too), we loved all of them so much that we just split the amount we needed into five different flavors. Rachel was even able to make a vegan-friendly cupcake for one of the bridesmaids. Everyone raved about the cupcakes! We were more than thrilled and thankful to have found her. -

Rachel and the Holy City Cupcake team is AMAZING! We booked the Cupcake Bar service for our November wedding, and it was a huge hit. Guests loved being able to customize their cupcakes. We also ordered a small ceremony cake for my husband and me, and that was delicious, too! We were supposed to freeze it but ended up eating it all... haha oops! Rachel is also an excellent vendor to work with. I made some changes to our order a few months after placing it, and she was more than accommodating, even though I’m sure it was a pain. She also provided a special gluten-free cupcake for a guest that has celiac disease, and the guest was raving about how delicious it was. If you’re looking for something different besides cake for your wedding, consider doing a cupcake bar! Your guests will love it. I highly recommend Rachel and the Holy City Cupcakes! -

Breanna Sent on 12/20/2017Our mini wedding cupcakes were gorgeous. The flavor's were amazing and everyone raved about them. We chose to go with several flavor's to cater to our guest's taste buds. Holy City did an awesome job at making each one beautifully unique. Highly recommend the strawberry icing on Champagne bread. It was to die for! -

Private U. Sent on 06/06/2016Please use Holy City Cupcakes! For a dollar a mini-cupcake, there is no better value in Charleston. My cupcakes had requests like fresh berries on top and lemon zest, and everything was fulfilled beautifully and deliciously. -

December Wedding
We hired Holy City’s food truck to provide our guests with dessert. In addition to the cupcake bar, they made us a small cake to cut. The flavors were amazing, and the guests loved having the option of multiple flavors. We also had them serve coffee, hot cocoa, and chai lattes. -

Corinne Sent on 06/06/2016Rachel and her husband were great to work with! They were super accommodating every step of the way and had a great variety of flavors and choices for our wedding day. Their mini cupcakes are a fantastic value! We purchased 200 mini cupcakes for our guests and a small cake for ourselves, which allowed us to give our guests the choice of several different flavors. I would definitely recommend Holy City Cupcakes to anyone getting married! Definitely the best value in Charleston. -

Would not recommend
We booked this company over a year in advance for my daughters wedding. They did not do anything they promised. Rachel would never get back in touch with us. She told us she would come to us for tasting of coffee, hot chocolate, and cupcakes. We had to go to her, then we found out she is not the owner anymore and I was dealing with a new owner. She did call me back, but want me to buy the containers to hold the coffee and hot chocolate because she lived too far away. Needless to say, we had the caterer take of the hot chocolate and coffee. The cupcakes were mini, once again I was under the impression they were regular size for the money they charged. At the wedding, the were placed on the table, not wearing gloves, so the man was touching every cupcake with his bare hands. The arrangement looked terrible. They were different sizes, shapes, and the frosting was not consistent. I called the new owner after the wedding, showed her pictures and she was rude and didn't want to hear what I had to say. -
