Just perfect in every way ❤️
It was a dream wedding come true! The place is just perfect in every way, so beautiful and well maintained. Yasna is fantastic to work with and we were to grateful to be able to use some decorations that she already had! It was a blast and we had the most amazing experience!

Most perfect place
We had our wedding here in July and I can’t speak highly enough about this venue! The pictures do not do this venue justice. The natural beauty, the peacefulness, the privacy that we experienced here was just fantastic. Yasna was so helpful with walking us through the process, making sure we got through our day effortlessly. The venue is the most perfect place to have a rustic wedding. Definitely will recommend this venue over and over. -

The Hitchin’ Barn
Yasna and Tony run an amazing venue. They were very kind, welcoming and helpful from day one. The property is beautiful and makes for an amazing wedding day-rain or shine! The weather was not on our side for our day, but they were accommodating and flexible & it was the best day ever.
The price is comparable to other venues in the area and worth every penny. -

The hitchin barn is a dream venue! I decided on it the second I laid eyes on it! The barn is so romantic, charming and unique! My husband and I wanted a place that gave us flexibility to get creative and the hitchin barn couldn't have been more perfect! The multiple options for the ceremony are amazing (we chose the forest location). I loved how I was able to make the location fit my theme, we did a gothic friday the 13th wedding and it was more perfect than i could habe imagined! Our guests loved the camping option and the big firepit! The kids loved the horses! Yasna and Tony are fantastic people to work with, answered every question I had, quickly too! Working with them was like working with an old friend not just a vendor! -

Tucked just outside of Blanchard, ID, The Hitchin Barn is truly a unique hidden gem of a venue!! As a wedding planner whose served all over the Pacific Northwest, I have yet to find a venue that offers numerous ceremony locations, on-site camping, ample and accessible parking, separate getting-ready locations for the wedding party, and the most perfect rustic barn for reception. Couples have so many options when it comes to photo settings as The Hitchin Barn is surrounded by beautiful pastures and forest land. Yasna and Tony are so kind, accommodating and overall amazing to work with! They take so much time to provide an amazing experience to ALL couples and expressions of love! I am proud to name The Hitchin Barn as a preferred venue to all my future clients, and they should be your top pick as well! -

Charming Venue!
I am a wedding florist and recently did a wedding at this location. It is absolutely beautiful and so fun. You can tell a lot of time, energy, and resources went into restoring the old barn. I have met the owners and they were very delightful and sweet.
The arch that I designed on was sturdy and had no problems with it.
If you're looking for a super cute, rustic but elegant place to get married, this is it! -

Great rustic venue with lots of options
I love this venue! I've been there several times as a wedding vendor (floral design). It's a beautiful space with several ceremony site options, beautiful scenery and a fun outdoorsy feel. The barn provides shade and shelter and the whole venue is just playful and fun. Yasna and Tony are great to work with, there is plenty of parking and lots of space. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a rustic wedding venue in north-eastern Washington/northern Idaho. -

We had a great experience working with Yasna and Tony. From our first meeting and tour to the actual wedding day, they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The property itself is so pretty and we loved the atmosphere. It was so cool to have the decor and items there to use. Yasna was very communicative and helped us with the details along the way. If you are looking for the perfect venue, this is it. So many areas to set up for the ceremony. They have a room with all kinds of decorations, so you can honestly do a whole wedding without bringing anything to decorate. Yasna is beyond helpful with anything. If she does not have the answer, she will find it for you. My daughter's day was so wonderful and the venue played a huge part in that. When they have Open Barn in the fall and spring, make sure you go. You will get to see this wonderful venue and meet some great vendors for your special day. -

We just got married here and I can’t recommend it enough. Great location, beautiful indoor/outdoor venue, plenty of parking, beautiful view. It was our dream venue and we were instantly in love with it. Yasna and Tony are amazing and were so helpful the entire way through, we feel like we made friends for life. They also worked with a lot of great vendors (LGBT+ friendly) that they can recommend to you. We wouldn't have wanted our wedding to happen anywhere else. Can't recommend enough! -

Gorgeous and Affordable Venue
The Hitchin Barn is absolutely picturesque and creates a stunning backdrop to ANY style of wedding. Yasna and Tony are so personable and easy to work with. They have a room full of usable decorations as well as numerous affordable add-ons to include a bouncy house. The bonfire pit was an absolute use for us. Highly recommend this venue to anyone that will listen! -

Fits any style!!
We absolutely loved our experience with The Hitchin' Barn. It is truly a venue that can fit any style. You can DIY everything like we did for a more rustic feel or you can bring in anything you need and have a truly glamorous event under the stars. The field, the woods and the barn made for the perfect setting. It is an absolutely breathtaking area. The space is intimate enough for a small wedding but has the ability to comfortably host 150 people like we did! Yasna responds to inquiries very quickly and is very professional. The bathrooms were absolutely spotless so no worries with having porta potties as your bathrooms (there was even a LARGE wedding the day before ours)! The camping, StoneRidge Resort and The Moose Inn gave very easy sleeping options for people coming from Spokane and farther! I couldn't have asked for anything more. -

Outstanding
We had our wedding in September and it ended up raining - the vendor was amazing at helping us with setup and changes for the inclimate weather. I’d recommend them to anyone. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. It couldn’t have been a better day! -

First off, this venue is by far the most beautiful and picturesque place anyone could get married! There are sooo many beautiful places for pictures to capture the special moments of your day! A beautiful day
I saw The Hitchin Barn on social media and instantly fell in love. We were able to schedule a time to go look at the venue and I fell in love all over again! Not only are the owners Tony and Yasna, kind but they are so helpful from paying for the venue to helping set up before and any help during the ceremony. I know my husband and I highly recommend this venue for anyone who has dreamed of a rustic outdoor wedding. -

This venue is beyond PERFECT. Rustic and cozy.
We got married here in October and I couldn’t have been happier even the small hiccups that we had with the day were overshadowed by how wonderful and beautiful venue was. There are multiple places to choose where you can hold your ceremony on the property, each one with its own special ambiance. Yasna and Tony, the property owners and managers are wonderful people who are easy to communicate with and very easy going. I am so happy I chose this as the place I got married. Even with the cold temps, The on site fire pit and the ability to put stand up heaters inside the barn it didn’t matter that it was chilly outside we all had a fantastic time. We only had around 50 guests or so but he could easily accomodate plenty more than that. The dance floor was super fun and there was a built in DJ booth. I wouldn’t have wanted to get married anywhere else. OH! AND THEY HAVE A BOUNCE HOUSE TO KEEP KIDS OCCUPIED WHILE THE ADULTS IMBIBE!!!! -

We loved this venue
Yasna was very professional and worked with us on our budget. We had a beautiful wedding with almost 100 people! We decorated everything ourselves but she had alot of decor available for us to use plenty of fridge space and hot food space. Huge dance floor this venue was also perfect for photos with many different areas to create your perfect look.
We loved this venue and felt it was worth every penny. Located right on the border so we had the option of getting our wedding license in Idaho or Washington. -

The Hitchin Don’t
I would never recommend this venue to anyone. First of all, when I previewed the venue I asked if I was able to remove the tacky tulle hanging in the barn which was full of dead bugs, bird, and bat feces. She told me yes, I could decorate however I wanted to. Once I paid them and signed the contract, she then told me “absolutely not” in regard to taking down the tulle. She also told me she would clean the dead bugs and feces out of it, which they did not.
They nickel and dimed us for EVERY LITTLE THING. They were not up front about this before we booked the venue. They charged us extra for literally every tiny thing you can think of. I paid $5,000 and that literally included nothing besides the use of their venue. They did not set up anything, take down anything, direct parking, they do literally nothing. They charge $100/hr to have your rehearsal there or spend any time decorating prior to the wedding. I had to spend thousands to rent all of my tables and chairs, because they were not included with the price of the venue. She charged us $3/chair to use the chairs they had at the venue. They charged us $115 per outhouse, which you would assume would be included in the 5K you already paid.
There is no running water. There is no air conditioning. The barn has serious electrical issues. The lights went out 3 times during the reception, and I was extremely thankful one of the guests happened to be an electrician who fixed them for us 3 separate times. Not to mention, the only lighting in the barn are strands of Christmas lights, so it is extremely dark and difficult to see anything. We planned the use the fridge overnight for flowers, and they turn the power off to the barn so that you can’t.
They did not return us our full $700 deposit, as they claimed we spent “2 extra hours” which they charged us $200 for, and then charged us an additional $200 for “additional work/cleanup.” We cleaned everything up the next morning, and left the venue looking exactly as we found it. But it came as no surprise that they would pull something like this after everything else we dealt with from them. We got married on July 31st, and nearly a month later we STILL have not received the small part of our deposit that they are supposedly refunding us. I’ll be surprised if we get any of our money back from them.
You can go to any other venue in the area and for the price we paid you would get all of your tables and chairs, bathrooms, parking lot attendant, host, set up and tear down, electricity that works, bathrooms that you don’t have to pay extra for, running water, and the list goes on. I didn’t do my research prior to booking with them, and certainly wish that I had. -
