I recently had my wedding ceremony on the High Roller. I did all my planning with Alexis through email as I am Canadian. She was fantastic and made the whole process a breeze from start to finish. We were comfortable with 32 people in our pod plus the officiant. I had many guests worry about heights and claustrophobia but when the event came they all said it was great. Our officiant was a very nice man that kept it short and sweet. I would recommend this entire experience a million times over.

Awesome place for a wedding -- surprised the heck out our guests - no one knew the location until they were delivered there. Kudos to the wedding chapel folks at the Flamingo for organizing everything.

We booked through Viator.com for our High Roller Wedding. It was in January and we scheduled for an 4:30pm ceremony, perfect for the sunset! The ride lasted for 30 minutes and 10-15 minutes for the ceremony, just enough for us to enjoy the view. We thought it was romantic and unforgettable to have been married on the High Roller and it was indeed.

    The venue itself was great

The booking for the high roller was a little frustrating due to the odd hours of the flamingo chapel staff and it would be days between replies to emails.

The wedding package comes with a photographer, however it seemed to be an amateur with a fancy camera and if you want the digital files from them it is an extra $850 charge. This charge was not revealed to us until a few days before our ceremony. Just as well as the pictures were not very good anyway.

The biggest problem for us was the fact that after the ceremony the officiant provided (who brought their own guest for some reason) handed me an envelope and just disappeared. Minutes later I found out that none of our guests had signed as a witness. When I opened the envelope it contained all of our documents with nothing filled out or signed. I ended up missing most of our reception dinner because I was trying unsuccessfully to have someone get in touch with the officiant to come back. I left the docs with the high roller manager. I got a call from the officiant the next day with excuses as to why this happened and an "apology" "if you were upset". The docs did get filed but because we weren't able to sign in the appropriate places, my wife now needs to file an amendment in order to take my last name.

Overall the venue is cool and unique but the professionalism is severely lacking for the cost.

    The High Roller's reply:

    Hello Warren,
I do apologize if your ceremony was anything less than perfect! We always strive for each and every couple to feel like their big day is worry and stress free!
To speak on the lack of response from your coordinator, I apologize about that. We were in the thick of wedding season and my coordinators aren't at their desks some days due to running weddings which means there may not always be an immediate response. I will make sure to put forth some new standards of practice for response times to guests.
The cost for digital files does come from our Photography company and we unfortunately have no say in that cost. We do let all of our couples know this cost if they ask ahead of time. We strive to always be transparent when it comes to our costs.
As for the officiant, we have recently parted ways with this officiant because of this. You do sign the paperwork at the court house days prior to the ceremony so no signature was required on your end on the day of. If the paperwork was filed you definitely should be able to order the marriage certificate with no issues. You are required to let the courthouse know of any name changes prior to picking up the paperwork, so unfortunately if that was not done, that is something that needs done on your end as the officiant has no control over that. Please be sure to only order documents or correspond about documents with the official marriage bureau website here https://clerk.clarkcountynv.gov/AcclaimWeb/Marriage/FindMyMarriageRecordSearch
We would love the opportunity to try and rectify this situation, if you would like to give me a call at 702-733-3424 I would be happy to speak with you.

    Thank you,
    Miranda M.
