  Scott is everything all rolled into one.

  Scott Skaggs owns and operates this venue. Scott has been a wedding photographer for a long time and he talked to different brides and built the perfect venue. A beautiful rustic barn with a little pond. The barn is two stories and has a suite for both the bride and bridesmaids, also the groom and groomsmen. You have the option to spend the night at the venue or in a bridal cottage we chose to stay in the venue and had the best time.

  Best Wedding Ever!!

  The venue is absolutely beautiful. Scott had all the decorations for center pieces, the arch and much more. The venue, the scenery, and everything that can come with the venue if you choose is absolutely amazing. I couldn’t have had a better wedding anywhere else!

  Absolutely beautiful

  Absolutely beautiful the pictures don’t do justice. Scott Scaggs is really nice to work with. I would have to recommend having him do the photography work as well so happy with the money I spend on our wedding

  best venue ever

  Scott Skaggs was so great and easy to work with. He made our venue experience a breeze. He has a giant room of decorations so they amount of money spent on decor was little to zero on our part. Then he allows you to come the day before the wedding and spend all day decorating using whatever you want from his decoration room. On top of all of that, the deposit you pay can be used as a clean up. This was amazing because we just got up and left after the wedding and didn't have to worry about a thing. The Bridal party spent the night out there and Scott made sure we were comfortable and was so responsive to anything we needed the whole weekend. There are also multiple locations you can get married at the venue so tons of options for anyone to choose from. Highly, HIGHLY recommend The Hidden Homestead!!

  Scott, we would all like to thank you and your entire family for helping our daughter's wedding dream come true. I am still in awe of the many, MANY ways you and your beautiful property offered us the perfect place for our children to marry.
  
  For anyone considering a wedding here, I'd like list a few of our favorite things about The Hidden Homestead:
  - Scott is a dream to work with. He is VERY helpful, generous, kind, creative, flexible, and a really hard worker. This business is truly his baby and his sincere desire to help every wedding be a success is a huge asset.
  - The venue is DREAMY. You must see it in person. The pictures are gorgeous, but it's hard to explain just how beautiful and well conceived this place is. The natural beauty of this location is amazing. The barn is lovely just as it is and is the perfect canvas for a variety of themes - rustic, elegant, shabby chic, eclectic - most anything will work.
  - Several location choices for your ceremony. This is a huge advantage. If the weather is good there are at least three different locations for the ceremony and every one of them is a winner. If it rains, the barn and barn porch are a beautiful alternative. I've been in the barn when it's raining and it is magical. Typical for mid-August, the forecast was all over the place on my daughter's wedding day, and Scott did a great job staying on top of the predictions (Weather Bug!) and was ready to make an easy transition inside if we had rain during the ceremony.
  - Hidden Homestead is an excellent value. The "package" you get with this venue is amazing. Choices for the ceremony locations, tables, chairs, linens, most of the decorations you need, golf cart usage, full sized, air conditioned kitchen, 2 good-sized, air conditioned dressing rooms with bunk beds, access to the property for Friday and Saturday. Also, Scott is CONTINUALLY working to improve his property and decor collection. We booked in January for an August wedding and I couldn't believe all

  We booked this venue a couple of months before Scott started attending the bridal shows around town. So we were lucky enough to get our date! He was VERY reasonably priced! You get to use all his decor & if you buy some that he's interested in he will even buy it from you at the end of your wedding night! Him and his wife are both very sweet and considerate people! Scott is also a great photographer but unfortunately he is booked and can't do our wedding! I am so pleased with our venue and cannot wait for our big day at The Hidden Homestead!!
