We researched and toured several wedding venues across the DMV and when we found The Hall CP, we fell in love with the fun and free flowing nature of the space. After meeting with their team, we learned that they could offer a picturesque outdoor ceremony and an awesome reception space. The Hall at CP was able to offer the best value of all our options while getting us everything we had hoped, not to mention that they really know how to throw a party! They have a great blueprint for weddings but are also extremely accommodating and have great attention to detail. Just a few of the things we loved were the outdoor space with garage doors to the event room, really good food, amazing bartenders, plenty of nearby hotels, and certainly the awesome event staff. Also, If you have a connection to University of Maryland this would be a super special place to get married due to the history it has with campus. And if you are like us who didn’t go to UMD it is still perfect, especially in the summer when students are gone and you have college park to yourself. After our wedding we can’t imagine getting married anywhere else, the vibe and atmosphere was something we looked really hard for and are so lucky to have found at The Hall.The Hall CP's reply:

The team at The Hall was just incredible! We were going for a Star Trek themed experience, and from the first conversation Celena and her team leaned in - we had access to the barmaster for cocktail ideas, were able to hang our own signage and decor, and they even opened the bay doors despite us not having the outside reserved just to bring in fresh air.
The package price is incredibly inclusive - they provide tables, will store and cut your cake, and have working relationships with multiple vendors for anything they don’t have!
Oh — and the food was delicious!! -

Celena and her team were amazing to work with from day one! We were looking for a wedding venue with a more casual reception space and flexibility to customize. The Hall CP ended up being the perfect option. It was great having the food and alcohol taken care of in-house and the staff were friendly and easy to work with leading up to and on wedding day. Definitely recommend them for couples looking for a unique wedding venue! -

Our son and his fiancé had to cancel their original ballroom wedding reception in early 2022 due to Covid. We were all devastated. We decided to postpone the reception to June and have it at The Hall CP instead. Best decision ever! Celena was an angel during the entire planning process. So easy to work with and The Hall CP was so flexible with what we wanted for our event. Alex and Celena had great suggestions and helped us every step of the way. The Longhouse is a unique and perfect venue. We were able to arrange and decorate everything the way we wanted, especially having the big doors open to the outside. The outdoor space is fantastic too! It is so pretty with the seating areas and lighting. And don't get me started about the food! We had some very specific requests that we worked out with Celena, and the Chef was more than accommodating. Everything was really delicious! Everyone still talks about it and said it was the best reception they had been to. I can't say enough good things about our experience with The Hall CP! Working with Celena, Alex and the team at The Hall CP was truly fantastic! Highly recommend! -
