Best team ever!
From the first time I reached out to T&T catering to the amazing salmon dinner, the T&T team was absolutely amazing. My first interactions were with Kimball and Sara, whom I hold dearly in my heart. They graciously walked my now husband and I through the planning process of having our special day at the Hall at Fauntleroy.
On the big day, the T&T team stepped up even more than I could ever expect. 1) Rain was in the forecast and we planned to have our ceremony in the garden. The T&T team set up the upstairs room for our ceremony in case we changed our minds last minute, which we eventually did. That was such an amazing surprise! 2) A crow flew into our reception room before the ceremony (I had no idea - great job T&T + my wedding party!). Due to the food safety hazard, the T&T team once again went above and beyond and moved our entire reception set up (tables, chairs, decor, cakes, etc.) to the upstairs room. It was mesmerizing to watch while we finished our family photos inside. Lastly, but certainly not least, the team lead an incredible dinner service (family style). They made sure that all special meals when to the correct guests, wine glasses were always full, and even cracked some jokes with our friends at the “Jesse table”.
I HIGHLY recommend working with the T&T team for your wedding or any event. I cannot wait to work with them again one day in the future. Thank you for everything!-

Our wedding with The Hall at Fauntleroy was perfect!
We found The Hall at Fauntleroy the week of our engagement while walking our pups in our West Seattle Neighborhood- we felt how special it was, and loved imagining the possibility of our wedding taking place just walking distance from our house.
Immediately The Hall at Fauntleroy Team was responsive, thorough all while being festive and helping us feel celebratory. We loved the Event Proposal process, where The Hall of Fauntleroy Team drafted different versions of what our wedding and reception might include at a myriad of price points, everything was customizable to meet our vision of what was important and where we wanted to devote resources. Our dedicated coordinators were attuned to our energy and consistently made us feel seen - even when we were being two neurotic brides (virgo/capricorn duo). The team also had excellent recommendations for other vendors we might want to work with - but was equally warm and welcoming to vendors new to their team.
We had so much fun at different planning events put on by the team including our tasting, an open house with featured vendors and our individual planning sessions. We also ate and drank so much! The full food and drink program was dialed in, thoughtful, seasonal dishes with local touches were exactly our vibe, We still dream about the lemonade!
We understand our bias, but truly it was the best wedding we have ever been to and it’s what we continued to hear from a lot of our guests. Flow was effortless, staff were professional and FUN, we ate and drank so many delightful things. The setting felt cozy and unique, while maintaining quintessential Seattle energy. With one of us having a career as an event planner, the technical details were something that were very important to us, and it was perfect. Our day was both chic and comfortable - which is no easy task, but precisely what we requested.
Coordinating a wedding as a queer couple can feel extra daunting, the wedding industry is often geared to a very specific vision of what a wedding should look like- The Hall at Fauntleroy team seamlessly integrated our narrative into our vision of our perfect wedding. Thank you for our perfect day.

Outstanding venue and staff
The staff at DSquared, the company that manages The Hall at Fauntleroy, were great to work with through our pandemic-impacted celebration. They were flexible and creative as we navigated a year delay, a venue change, and a shift in format resulting in an event where our guests felt safe, had an incredible time, and we felt celebrated. The catering (provided through the venue) was fabulous, the venue was perfect, and the staff service was top notch. We were ready to party and celebrate our marriage after a difficult year and The Hall and Fauntleroy really delivered! -

Great Experience!
I absolutely loved working with Kimball! We had major bumps in our planning due to Covid, but she offered us great back up plans and ideas along the way. This venue was absolutely gorgeous and was an amazing space for us to hold a safe, socially distanced ceremony and mini reception in. -

Beautiful venue for our wedding with plenty of space!
We rented out the whole facility at the Hall for our wedding last November. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour in the Vashon Room downstairs and our dinner and reception in the Emerald Room. We used the billiard room (a part of the Vashon Room) as our staging area before the ceremony and it was an awesome hangout spot during the reception. We also used the bridal suite (part of the Emerald Room) to have a private moment after the ceremony and as a place to take a breath during all the dancing. We used the stage in the Emerald Room as our dance floor; everyone was seated on the main floor and was able to see all the special dances. We thought the ceremony looked beautiful in the Vashon room. The cozy brick in the Emerald room made our reception feel very intimate even though we had 125 people in attendance. Space wasn’t a problem, they were able to accommodate the layout we wanted without any issues.
Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes is the exclusive caterer and wait staff for the venue. Something that really sold us on this venue was having the catering already figured out but the ability to choose and bring our wine/beer and desserts. The Hall was extremely professional throughout the planning process. The staff was responsive throughout the planning process and day of the wedding, everything flowed well. We liked that the Hall was upfront with us on things we couldn’t do, but if it wasn’t on that list (cigar bar) they made it happen.
All in all, we couldn’t have picked a better venue for our ceremony and reception for our wedding. It was everything we hoped for and more. -

An unconventional vision, realized!
When it came time to start planning our big day, my husband and I wanted to get as far from traditional as possible. When we first visited The Hall at Fauntleroy, we knew that was our venue - the outdoor setting was perfect for what we wanted. But when it came time to discuss the details, we got nervous. We threw Kimball and her team at The Hall quite a few curve balls: totchos and sliders, lawn games, trivia, an ice cream truck delivery... but they caught them all, and even offered some additional suggestions to make our party better. Plus, the level of enthusiasm and excitement that everyone we worked with got us even more excited for our big day! From the first meeting at the venue to last call, the entire experience was amazing. We were in such great hands! -

The team at the Hall at Fauntleroy were unbelievable to work with - they were extremely thoughtful, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. They routinely went above and beyond to help create the best experience possible, and we cannot thank them enough for helping to make our wedding day go without a hitch. Special shout outs to Emily and Tony, who were absolutely amazing! We highly recommend them for any event! -

Amazing venue, with excellent catering company that operates out of it, excellent staff, excellent event coordinator, and THE BEST FOOD. Hands down, such an incredible and low stress experience! It has a bridal room, studio, and a huge bathroom for big dresses. Also, an indoor and outdoor area for the wedding. We rented the entire venue out and had a signature cocktail (with other alcohol brought in from Costco). Less then 15 minutes from home for us too!! Such great people to work with and such a beautiful experience!!-

The entire staff at the Hall was amazing. From planning and meeting to the actual day of, we could not have asked for more helpful and knowledgeable people. We worked with Natalie and Hanna and they both went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect, and it was! The food was delicious, too. We still have guest commenting on the chicken skewers. The Hall will always have a special place in our hearts. Definitely recommend including the billiard suite downtstaris in your rental, it was the perfect place to get ready and leave the bridal party's belongings. -

We had our wedding and reception at The Hall at Fauntleroy, owned by Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes. Well before our wedding date, Amanda Austin, the event manager handling our wedding, kept us well informed of all the details necessary for our special day. She was incredibly responsive to e-mails, including many last-minute concerns the week of the wedding! On the wedding day their staff performed flawlessly – everything was executed exactly as planned in our discussions with Amanda, and we did not have to worry about a single detail. The food was also fantastic, and they were nice enough to send us home with plenty of leftovers. In fact, many wedding guests told us the food was one of the highlights of their day, which from a buffet-style lunch is no small feat (the cedar planked salmon was especially a hit)! They were also able to provide us with additional event space for the signing of our ketubah and our yichud, and really went above and beyond to make every minute of our wedding wonderful! -

Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes was AMAZING!!! Not only was the food absolutely fabulous and delicious, but the team that work there are awesome. Amanda was the one who handled our wedding and she was always so incredibly responsive and helpful. She met with us multiple times to go over questions and concerns and always had great ideas. I am SO HAPPY we had tuxedos and tennis shoes cater our wedding. They were professional and everything was so smooth and taken care of and we didn't have to worry about a THING. It was perfect! -

The Hall at Fauntleroy was absolutely stunning and wonderful. They were extremely flexible and professional. We loved working with every staff member. Our day was perfect and the venue was exactly what we were looking for. Our Christmas/Winter wedding was perfect in the cozy brick room, the outside space was amazing and our guests loved every minute. Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes is the exclusive caterers and I cannot say enough good things about the food. Delicious and high quality. We had an ice cream truck park outside the venue for desert and the hall was very accommodating. Our photo booth and DJ were welcomed as well. Everything was truly perfect at the Hall at Fauntleroy for our wedding of about 225. Highly recommended. -

I am extremely pleased with the level of customer service I received here (even though in the 10 month process I worked with 3 reps one got promoted, one who knows, and the final one). Everyone was fantastic. They always knew what was going on. I think they keep great files. They are professional and well organized. They always called back within the business day, and answered emails within 24 hours, with the exception of the times where my email went to their spam box (which I knew right away, because it was weird that I would have to wait to hear back from them). The venue is beautiful and they have everything you need available to rent. The space is extremely versatile. Also there is a parking lot. -

We chose the Hall at Fauntleroy to host our wedding because the venue has a catering business attached (Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes runs the venue) -- Very Convenient; and the second bonus was they were the most affordable option I found that could easily host 200+ people in the Seattle area. The facilities are beautiful -- there is a outdoor garden option, there is an indoor ceremony/cocktail room option (Vashon room), and there is a beautiful banquet room (Emerald room). The venue has partnerships with other vendors that make setting up the event very easy (e.g. linens, at the least -- but have other traditional partnerships you could utilize like DJ, photography, etc). They have been extremely flexible -- e.g. allowing us to have our dog present for ceremony, allowing us to bring in our own homemade wedding cake. We've been working with Sydney, who is super professional, but has the large job of helping to coordinate so many weddings (which can impact communication slightly). We're really looking forwards to executing our wedding on October 5! -

We had our wedding at The Hall at Fauntleroy in April of this year. It was an absolutely wonderful event, and we are so pleased with the service. This venue is run by Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes, who are a very professional and talented catering company. I really appreciated the simplicity of having the venue and caterer combined, particularly in the last few weeks before the wedding. They have a host of options for decor, and know how to realize a great event, without your having to ask for all the details.
We had some custom decorations to the space as well, and they were very flexible in working with one of our friends to make sure the installation worked. They also didn't blink an eye when we suggested a dessert pot-luck, and had place cards at the ready so our guests could label the dishes they had made. What I had envisioned as a simple community table turned into an exquisite dessert buffet.
The venue was reasonably priced for a spring event, particularly given the level of service. Additional time at the space does cost a little bit extra, which is why I've given flexibility a 4.5 not 5. However, I felt that the standard time allowed was enough for us, and we didn't feel rushed.
Thank you to the whole Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes team for helping to make our event such a success!! -

Holy balls!!!
The catering company that this venue uses is off the damn charts. Our guests are still talking about it. The Emerald room and the courtyard are to die for.
The staff is awesome, responsive, and polite. We had zero complaints as to the professionalism with this company. We were able to do a couple tastings between the time we booked with them and the big day and enjoyed both.
If you haven’t had a wedding at a venue before be prepared to pay a lot of extras. During the walk through and discussion about cost I felt I was given one number and another when I got the event proposal after contracts were signed and menu chosen. Extra costs besides the venue rental and catering minimum to include...
Security if alcohol on-site, corking fees, wait staff, taxes, ceremony fee, rehearsal fee, Admin fees, credit card fees (pay with check!)
Overall we really loved this venue even though we had to break the bank to make it happen. But that’s weddings I guess. Everyone was super attentive the day of and we wouldn’t change a thing looking back. -

We had our wedding reception at The Hall at Fauntleroy, owned by Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes. First off, let me say I cannot say enough good things about Sydney, our TNT coordinator. She was absolutely incredible!! Sometimes I felt like I was talking to her more than my own fiance. On more than one occasion, I would send her 3, 4, or 5 emails in a row with several questions each, and she was always so sweet and so nice and graciously answered my questions without any hesitation.
The space at the Hall at Fauntleroy is absolutely beautiful. We had our wedding in the Emerald Room, the brick room upstairs, and it is gorgeous. The downstairs is nice because it has the access to the outside, but I think the Emerald Room is way prettier. The brick and the 3 huge windows along with the mirrors are just gorgeous all over.
Our actual wedding day went perfectly. The food was incredible, everyone kept saying how wonderful it was (seriously, if you can get the short ribs, do it, they are to die for). The bartenders and servers were all so friendly and helpful and everyone kept congratulating us. They were also really flexible and great to work with, it was such an easy experience.
I'm so glad we chose the Hall at Fauntleroy and TNT. It was such an easy decision and it was one I never regretted. They made our wedding so amazing! -

I was so pleased with how my wedding at the Hall at Fauntleroy turned out!! I held both the ceremony and reception in the Emerald Room, and the staff did a wonderful job of changing over the rooms very quickly. The room was gorgeous, and hardly needed any decorating. We were near plenty of beaches so took advantage of this and had all of our bridal party pictures done before the wedding at Lincoln Park. Everyone loved the food that Tuxedos & Tennis Shoes provided, and the coordinators worked very hard to keep everything within our budget. We did have to spend an extra $100 per hour in order to get access to the venue earlier than our assigned time, but it wasn't too big of a deal and well worth it. I would recommend this venue to anybody looking to get married in Seattle -- the venue was beautiful, food was amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better place to get married!! -

I instantly fell in love with this venue. The fact that they already had a catering company also helped, cut out one more thing that I had to do. The food was absolutely delicious and I had guest raving about the stuffed chicken!! Kristin was super responsive and understanding. We were able to bring in our own alcohol and desserts which cut down a lot on the cost. It was a day that I will never forget and I couldn't have done it without the help of the TNT staff. Hall at Fauntleroy was an extremely charming venue. We used the Vashon Room for our reception and the garden area in the back for our ceremony. The cocktail hour was in the courtyard. We had 130 guests and the venue fit perfectly. The only downside to the venue is that it is older and there really isn't a very nice area for the bridal party to get ready at. We rented a classroom upstairs but it was old and smelled a little funny and it's not very bridal looking for pictures. The HAF manager Denise was very nice to work with though and there was a lot of flexibility with the time we could have the classroom for. The exclusive caterer is Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes catering. We had the opportunity to work with both David and Reed Haggerty. We could not have been happier with the service. Everything was top notch and they did more than we even expected. They packed our leftovers at the end of the night and helped with all our extra props and items. Most importantly, their food is amazing. Everything from presentation to taste. Our served appetizers were so cute and so delicious. We got so many compliments from our guests saying how much they enjoyed everything. The entrees were so good too. We would highly recommend TNT. -

Great Experience
We held our wedding ceremony & reception at The Hall at Fauntleroy in August. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would 100% recommend the venue. We held our ceremony outside in the garden and reception upstairs in the Emerald room. The garden is a beautiful setting and it actually makes you forget you are right in Seattle. The outdoor bar provided our guests drinks before the ceremony and made for a smooth transition to our outdoor cocktail hour. The beautiful brick walls and big windows of the Emerald room make for an ideal dinner setting. The room required little additional decoration and ended up being more beautiful than we could have imagined. Our guests raved about the food and we were impressed be the catering staff throughout the day. They were kind to all our guests and paid extra special attention to us.
While everything came together perfectly, we did feel like overall communication leading up to the wedding could have been better. We often felt like we had to email the team multiple times to get a response. Thankfully, when it was time for the wedding all of our special details were done correctly (long tables instead of rounds at dinner, dual aisles for the ceremony, cut limes for the Modelo beer). We would absolutely recommend The Hall at Fauntleroy for anyone considering a Seattle wedding.

My wedding and reception were at the Hall at Fauntleroy this past August. My ceremony was in the Vashon garden and my reception was held in the Emerald Room. Our wedding turned out beautifully and was so much fun! The venue space is beautiful. The Vashon garden has a private feel and the Emerald room has gorgeous exposed brick and a statement light fixture that is eye-catching. I received many compliments on the delicious dinner catered by Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes, the exclusive caterer for the Hall. I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff were on the day of my wedding. The servers were great at anticipating our needs and made sure to do anything they could to make sure everyone had a great night. I didn't expect to be taken care of so well by the staff! The only downside was that there is no AC. They have multiple, large portable ACs and keep the shades down during the day, however, it was a 90 degree day and once we filled the hall, there was no denying it was warm. That being said, I had such a great experience and I would absolutely recommend the Hall at Fauntleroy to anyone looking to plan a large event! -

My husband and I had to go through this caterer because of the venue we picked. When we went to their open house to try some of their food we were not impressed. It was all pretty average, nothing really jumped out at us except the risotto. The meat that we tried was cold, and the grilled cheese and tomato soup appetizers we were excited to try left us less than enthused. We were also not very excited about the price tag of the meal we had chosen; it was pretty hefty for a chicken and rice dinner. However, the day of the wedding the food was delicious, we are still getting compliments on it, and the service the caterers provided was spectacular. Everyone was nice, smiley, and supportive. -

For the most part was very flexible and easy to work with this venue/vendor. The gal that was my main point of contact did not seem to ever have been married before, and seemed to be a bit unenthusiastic about her job; that being said I'm sure working with brides is hard, and she did an adequate job. The day of the wedding was unseasonably warm, and their air conditioning attempts were not awesome. Other than that, it was a great wedding, the actual waiting staff on the day itself were amazing. :) Food was wonderful too!! -

The venue is beautiful. The food was amazing (people are still commenting on our food almost a month later). The only hitch was that our site coordinator was less than reliable. While the whole event turned out beautiful, he would do things like say he would email me in the afternoon with an updated estimate for the changes I had requested, and I wouldn't get the email until after I reminded him 3 or 4 days later. While it may have been just another event for him, it was a major event for me, so it would've been nice if he had been a little more on the ball. HOWEVER, other than that, the event itself was perfect! The soft seating was a hit, as was the unusual layout we used. They never said that something wasn't possible, and it all turned out beautifully. -

Tuxedo and Tennis Shoes has some of the best food I've ever tasted. Our guests loved the food and the venue was perfect for our size wedding (around 225 people). I've knocked a few stars off for the lack of response to emails. As a bride, it was hard to not receive timely responses to questions. It was hard to work with the vendor in this aspect but at the end of the day they delivered as promised. -

Good food, pretty space, but several shortcomings
We had our wedding at the Hall at Fauntleroy in September, 2018 and our experience was mixed. I'll start with the good:
1. The food was great. We served both steak and salmon and both were cooked perfectly and several guests told us how good the dinner was. The passed appetizers were good and I heard that one staff member even went out of their way to make sure some vegetarian guests got enough vegetarian appetizers brought to them during cocktail hour.
2. The space is beautiful. The outdoor garden was perfect for our ceremony. The lush greenery perfectly filled in to create a gorgeous backdrop with just enough light peeking through, but the area stayed shaded under the trees and hedges in the late afternoon so our guests weren't baking in the sun. We didn't feel the need to decorate the outdoor space at all because it was so naturally pretty. We were also glad there was a free parking lot for our guests. The two indoor spaces are both great. We used the Emerald Room upstairs for dinner and the Vashon Room for dancing and a photo booth. Both had more than enough space for our group 115 and we loved that the venue had lounge furniture for the Vashon Room so people could rest and chat when not dancing. The only downsides here were that in-house mic and speaker in the Emerald Room did not work great for toasts and it got very hot in the Vashon room (fortunately, doors opened directly to the garden when people needed some air).
3. The staff was friendly and generally helpful. The night of the wedding, servers made sure that we had champagne without ever having to go to the bar. In planning, they were open to us bringing in our own vendors (no required preferred list), but did also give us suggestions to help us find a photographer. Having the venue-and-catering-in-one also made planning easier for us, and we were grateful that they handled so much of the extra stuff (nice chairs, plates, linens, etc.) in-house.
Now for the not-so-good:
1. Our main complaint is that over the 17 months from our first tour to our wedding, we had 4 different coordinators/contacts at the venue. Communicating with four different people, our mileage varied, and some things likely got lost in translation and had to be emailed multiple times. We were planning from out of state, and so communication was key. This led to particular issues like being told the week of the wedding that we owed a $300 more because someone had miscalculated the number of appetizers we needed and it wasn't caught until then. Our final venue contact also didn't show up to our final walkthrough the week of the wedding, which was our only chance to talk to her in-person. She cancelled just a couple hours before the meeting, which had been scheduled months in advance and confirmed a couple days earlier. This left us with a number of questions we had planned to discuss in person that did not get asked, some of which came up as problems on the night of the wedding.
2. There were several communication and/or staff errors with our food. Somehow the kitchen did not get five of our meals recorded and we only had enough food for everyone because we had 6 last minute no-shows. They also did not serve the coffee we asked for with dessert. Fortunately, when discussing these issues after the fact, we were offered a refund for the meals that weren't made and the coffee that wasn't served. Probably the worst error of the night was that they only served about a third of the desserts that we had ordered. We did not have a cake and were very excited about the dessert array that we had sampled at our tasting and it's incredibly disappointing that there wasn't enough for every guest to even have one bite of dessert. When we brought up this point after the wedding, we were told thanks for the information but offered no apology or compensation for the desserts that we paid for but weren't served.
3. Finally, we also had several issues with the bar. We opted for the top tier option for the full bar because this was an area where we wanted to spend more money for the best possible experience for our guests. Somehow, they were way off in their preparation and we ran out of gin and vodka as well as several mixers (like tonic and grapefruit) early in the night. Relatedly, the staff repeatedly cleared several unfinished drinks that were set down on tables near the dance floor while guests were dancing. We were told that the staff is trained specifically not to do that, so I'm not sure what happened, but that was a good bit of money tossed down the drain and also made us run out of liquor even faster.
Overall, our night was good. The food was good, the venue was lovely, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, there were also several glaring issues that did not go unnoticed. It is unfortunate that among the many happy memories from the night, we also have many disappointing memories where the ball was dropped on several key things we were excited for and cared a lot about. -

I booked my ceremony & reception here. For the size of the venue, and the automatic ambience, it was a steal! I barely had to do any decorating at all. The people who work there helped me out with every question I asked. The only downside was the booking blocks. I had rented the room from 6 pm to 12 am. If I wanted it any earlier, I'd have to pay extra. That's a late wedding! It worked out well with the retro cocktail party theme we had going on, but still, it was late. Also I was told if my vendors showed up a little early, it should be fine. When a couple of my vendors DID show up early, I ended up getting charged. But otherwise, I highly recommend this place for the value and the ambience! -
