Perfect Venue!!

The Carriage House at Rockwood Park was the perfect venue for our special day!! Brandywine Prime catered, they're partners so it was all inclusive. They took care of EVERYTHING. Everyone was pleasant to work with, and very professional. I would highly recommend anyone looking for convenience to book this beautiful venue. You shouldn't have to lift a finger on your special day, Katie & Michael made sure our experience was top notch. We can't thank them enough!!

Beautiful Location

We hosted our wedding recently at the Rockwood Carriage house and it was a wonderful experience. The ceremony location is absolutely beautiful. They have a beautiful Garden outdoors that is perfect for taking pictures as well as other nice picture worthy locations.

A Dream Come True

Where to start!?! Our wedding day was a dream come true! Our vision came to life all because of those at the Carriage House! As soon as we walked through the Carriage House we instantly fell in love. The rustic charm was exactly what we invisioned. The Christmas decor was breathtaking. All the lights in the trees outside made it feel like a true winter wedding!

Michelle was amazing to work with! She made everything so easy. She kept the night running smoothly and we cannot thank her enough. Everyone that met her couldn't stop saying how amazing she was and how great the night was all because of her! Michelle checked on us constantly, making sure everything was perfect!

Patti made the entire process easy. Our wedding was postponed and Patti helped to make that time less stressful! Thank you for that! All our guests raved about the food and the atmosphere; saying it was one of the best weddings they have been too!

We are forever grateful to all those at the Carriage House!

The best day ever!

Our experience with The Carriage House was amazing! We were originally scheduled for 8/8/2020, but postponed due to Covid-19; the staff was incredibly flexible and helpful in the process of brainstorming safe ceremony/reception ideas for 2020 and ultimately postponing to 8/7/2021. Michelle and her team were absolute rockstars the day of our wedding and made everything come together beautifully without any stress on our end! Highly recommend this venue!

Flawless, absolutely perfect

We planned our wedding and expected things to go wrong, but that really didn’t happen and it’s because of the staff at The Greenery Caterers. Our day-of coordinator Michelle was an absolute delight and we knew when we met her that she would not let anything go wrong. She was like the Olivia Pope (“Scandal”) of weddings; she handled everything and it was perfect. We had nothing to worry about. The food was amazing too! We are so happy with our choice and we highly recommend The Carriage House, Greenery Caterers and Michelle Quirk. We had the best day of our lives.

We love the Carriage House!

The Carriage House and Greenery Caterers were so great to work with--they were so accommodating when we had to reschedule our reception due to covid and everything was absolutely wonderful day-of. They are very flexible and professional and we are so glad we chose to have our reception here!

The Perfect place!

We absolutely loved the carriage house! Everything from the rustic decor, the beautiful garden and greenery, the personal yet roomy bridal suite, down to the small details of the cocktail hour food - everything was perfect. We had a perfect day. Michelle & Patti were also our go to gals. They were BEYOND helpful and responsive! 10/10 place to have your wedding!

Great day!

Nothing has been easy wedding planning in 2020 but Craig, Patti, and Michele made it less stressful and they were so flexible and accommodating. While we decided not to have our big celebration, we did have a mini wedding with 20 people and Greenery made it such a special day. Michele was there the day of to keep things on schedule and take care of all of the little details, Patti was great to work with ahead of time, and the food from Craig and his team was delicious. We can’t thank Greenery enough and can’t wait for the full reception in 2021!

Great experience

I cannot say enough how wonderfully my wedding at Rockwood Carriage House turned out. I had been to Rockwood before for various events and already knew how beautiful the venue was. I approached them requesting a fully vegan wedding, a first for them, and they were completely willing to work with me, with fantastic results. (I had guests who didn't even realize that the reception was entirely vegan, because they were so impressed with the food.) Greenery was also willing to work with our band, even though they traditionally have DJs. On the day of Michelle did an absolutely wonderful job and I didn't have to worry about anything, I could just enjoy a wonderful reception. After all the craziness and logistics of planning a wedding, I cannot tell you how grateful I am to Greenery Caterers for making the day seamless and fun.

The best venue and staff!

I simply cannot thank Patti, Margaret and Michelle enough for everything they did to make the day perfect. Margaret is beyond efficient on the administrative end and Michelle is an absolute rock star of a planner and event host. She has the perfect balance of presence vs. behind the scenes and will keep your guests comfortable and informed, while also keeping you and your bridal party well attended and free of stress. As someone with a planner personality myself, I was completely at ease handing her the controls.

Both the planning and event went seamlessly and the staff manning the event couldn't be nicer. The venue itself is gorgeous and was perfect with my love of history and rustic atmosphere. You simply cannot go wrong with choosing Greenery and the Carriage House for your wedding!

Incredible Venue, Food, and Team!

This is a fantastic team! We were initially planning our wedding from out of state and were nervous about picking a venue/caterer. After meeting with Patti and her team we knew we would be in good hands. There are many reasons to book here, but here are some of the highlights: 1) The venue is stunning! There are so many beautiful places for guests and the bridal party to take pictures. It feels very unique, historic, and cozy inside. We had guests from all over the country and who commented on how much they loved the venue! It really helped us show off my home-state of Delaware in the best way! 2) The food was SO good. I think food at wedding is usually so-so but our guests could not stop commenting on how good everything was! 3) This team knows what they are doing. Patti, Margaret, and Michelle are all very professional and extremely detail-oriented. They helped us bring our vision to life. They also have a lot of great contacts and helped us find many of our other vendors, our hotel, and our transportation company. They helped us accommodate our guests with accessibility concerns, and helped us address the last minute problems that arose. Michelle also did a great job of keeping the flow of the night going and attending to me and the bridal party. We could not have planned our wedding from Chicago without the help of this team.

Happiest Day of My Life!

The Carriage House was absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t have selected a better place to celebrate our wedding! Our guests are still raving about how good the food was! Best in the biz!

Carriage House was the first venue we toured, and there was no topping it! I was looking for a beautiful venue at a great price, and we found it. We just got married 9/27, and all of our guests were raving about the gorgeous venue and the delicious food! One of my guests stopped me to sincerely thank me for the special gluten free meal that was made for her. Greenery Caterers thinks of everything and are truly the best in the business! Everyone on the staff made sure we had nothing to worry about on our big day, especially Michelle. She was always checking in, it felt more like a family member coordinating our day. Things could not have gone better, thanks to everyone at the Carriage House! I will never stop recommending it!

Phenomenal service, food, and scenery.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with our wedding at the Carriage House and The Greenery Catering Company from the moment we first met to view the Carriage House to saying good night to the last guest. The Greenery Catering Company was very accommodating to all of my family members who have food allergies. I can’t say enough to how delicious the food was and the amount of complaints we got from our family and friends. Also, Michelle, the catering manager, who was present at our reception was so attentive to not only myself, as the bride, and husband, but to all my guest! She made sure all of the guest with allergies were aware of the foods they could eat and had their meals, was visiting all the tables, and was on top of anything you could think of. All the staff were great and so friendly. Oh, and of course I can’t forget the beautiful scenery and gardens which made for wonderful backdrop for the wedding.

Beautiful venue, delicious food, perfect all around

Carriage House was the first venue we toured, and we knew we found the winner right away. We loved everything about the space, from the intimate ceremony room on the top floor, to the beautiful grounds/gardens, to the dance floor/reception area. We could easily see our guests enjoying all the spaces the venue had to offer. Craig and Patti were so thorough at breaking down everything that was included, and all of our menu options...we were having a brunch wedding, and the food tasting was such a fun part of what was included (the food was also all amazing). On our wedding day, Michelle was so kind and calm, and took care of everything behind the scenes...everything looked so effortless. We simply had the best day, and everything flowed so well.

Best decision we made in the wedding planning process

Choosing the Greenery Caterers and Rockwood Carriage House was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. Our wedding day was perfect because of their hard work, experience, and professionalism. They were so helpful in the planning process, and answered all of our questions with patience and guidance. The day of went off without a hitch. The outdoor ceremony and reception were beautiful, and we received many compliments from our guests on the venue. The food was delicious, and they went out of their way to accommodate our wishes for a fun and casual wedding. Michelle was phenomenal and is so talented. Amazingly Accommodating and Caring

The Greenery Catering staff at the Carriage House at Rockwood Park were nothing short of amazing on my wedding day! The perfect wedding,at the perfect venue

The Carriage House was a perfect Venue for our wedding. The staff was amazing especially Michelle. Michelle not only was on top of everything she made myself and my family feel comfortable and helped out more than expected. She assisted in making sure not only my day was special but that it went smoothly and was everything I dreamed of. The venue has a special touch and is unique. Highly recommend this venue!!

Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of!! The staff was so accommodating and flexible. I was a little worried when not hearing from them really consistently, until about 4-6 weeks before, but once I did they really focused on making our wedding everything we wanted. From day one Craig was the sweetest and truly sold us on what they offered! Patti was wonderful when it came to narrowing down our food selections and Margaret was easily available via email for all of my questions! Michelle Quirk was an absolute angel about 3 weeks prior, up until the day of. On the wedding day she made sure my husband and I were taken care of all night and that everyone was where they needed to be. She also made sure all guests were comfortable and things ran smoothly. On top of all the wonderful staff the venue is an absolute vision and stunning all around. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VENUE.

Amazing venue!

Our October 27th wedding at the Carriage House could not have been more amazing! The team is great, and throughout the whole planning process, Patti always answered our emails within a day. The actual wedding day was fantastic, and Michelle (the wedding day coordinator) was so on top of everything.. she made everything flow so smoothly and she is so easy to work it. She is amazing at what she does! The venue is beautiful, and we had many people tell us that the food was honestly the best wedding food they had ever had. We would highly recommend The Carriage House to anyone!

Perfection

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Michelle and the team at Greenery Caterers. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and everything I ever dreamed of. Best wedding day ever!

Thanks to the Greenery Caterers, we had an AMAZING wedding 10/13/18. We cannot say enough about the beautiful venue and fabulous staff! My husband and I had a great time at our wedding...and our guests are still raving about the venue, the food, and the friendliness and hospitality of the wait staff and bartenders. The Greenery Caterers are true professionals, and made the wedding planning process so easy for me. Margaret and Michelle were very quick to answer all my questions all along the way. Darlene was super helpful the day we dropped off liquor and decorations. The day of the event Michelle was the personification of "grace under pressure". She ran the day flawlessly and took care of us at every moment. We couldn't have asked for a better day...the staff at Greenery Caterers made it so special for us. We don't have one picture where we are not smiling ear to ear!

After having several work events at the Carriage House and working with the Greenery Catering Staff, I knew the place my daughter would love to have her wedding at when she got engaged. She knew right away as we drove up the lane this was the place as she wasn't sure whether she wanted an indoor or outdoor wedding and she had the option to do either in July, however, in the end she did end up going with a church wedding and reception to follow at the Carriage House on a hot Sunday, July afternoon. IT could of not been more perfect for guests to walk the gardens during the cocktail hour and take picutres. We can't say enough about the entire experience from the food tasting, to emails along the way. Margaret and Michelle were our best friends by the end of this journey and we felt like they were part of the family. Michelle was there in a time of crisis and for that we thank her. All the staff were polite, and our guests are still raving about the cutouts in the melons that Craig does on the appetizer table and all the food. We brought in our own 16 different table arrangements and Michelle and staff set them up.....plus my husband's old bike as a kid for a photo op that truly had everyone talking. The locations was easy on and off 95 as many of our guests drove back to New Jersey and Maryland that night. You can take anyplace and make it look good, but it is the people and food that can make or break an event and Greenery Catering is there to see that you make it and for that we thank them.

The Carriage House at Rockwood Park is such a beautiful spot for a wedding! The building and grounds are gorgeous and the staff is extremely accommodating. Michelle held our hand through all of the planning and coordinated everything. She was a rockstar on our big day and made sure that we didn’t worry about a thing! I still get compliments about the food at our wedding from greenery caterers as well months out from it. This venue is the full package if you want a dreamy historic place to say I do that makes wedding planning a breeze!

Greenery Caterers and Rockwood Park were amazing for our May 2018 wedding. Michelle is the best wedding planner we could have asked for, and she thinks of everything. Every concern we had was answered quickly and every special request addressed. We didn't have to worry about a single aspect of planning/executing on the day of the wedding, and we were able to truly enjoy ourselves during the reception. Michelle left no stone unturned, and made sure that we had the time of our lives. The entire staff was prompt and courteous. The venue was amazing- even on a day with rain and clouds, the garden was beautiful and our pictures are fantastic. If we tried to plan our wedding all over again, we wouldn't change a thing!

I cannot say enough good things about the Rockwood Park Carriage House & Greenery Caterers staff. Michelle the event coordinator made our day so easy. She assisted my elderly grandfather with getting food and making him comfortable. Michelle brought my fiancé and I food and drinks all night long. Everyone was comfortable and had such a fun time. The staff was courteous and helpful. There was nothing but smiling faces all around. I wish I could get married again just to relive this amazing experience! I love Rockwood! Worth every penny :)

Wow! I can't even begin to describe how great my experience was at Rockwood! Michelle was amazing! It may have been nine months ago (how is it already nine months!) but our experience with Greenery Caterers and their important role in our wedding day (and the entire planning process) is fresh in my mind due to their absolute standard of excellence. I don’t even know where to begin.

The venue is gorgeous, rustic, unique, beautiful. As for the food, our entire family, even those who can be quite picky, still talk about the food and how wonderful it was! However, it was the people are what set Greenery Caterers apart.
Starting with our initial meeting, Patty answered all my crazy questions, gave us a huge list of variety to fit every possible version of our budget, and went over the contract with us until we were absolutely content with every word. Later, she created the perfect menu, helped us through flexible budget and a ton of options, allowing us to get so much for our money.

Margaret answered every question for months and was the most calm and positive person.
Michelle helped us with so many important decisions. I am terrible at choosing things, so Michelle kindly helped me narrow down all of the choices by offering her expert opinion when I needed it. As for the day of our wedding, I can’t even remember all of the amazing things she did behind the scenes. helped the day run smooth, kept us sane, solved all our problems - she put out fires left and right (most of which I never even noticed that day because she is JUST THAT GOOD!). Two things that I really was grateful for that day was when she saved my hair with an umbrella once it started to poor and she ran to get my flip flops when my shoes caused major blisters. The umbrella picture our photographer took is our favorite of the day! Above all, she ran the show and helped it be the day of our dreams.

The entire experience had the best of quality, pricing, support, and suggestions we could have imagined. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!

The Carriage House at Rockwood Park is a hidden gem! I grew up in the area but had never been to the Carriage House before. Some of our guests, who are lifelong residents in the area, even mentioned to us they had no idea the venue was even there! The atmosphere and look of the venue was exactly what my husband and I were looking for! We were planning our wedding from out of state and Patti’s team was wonderful. We spoke to Margaret over the phone and through email as often as we needed and had Michelle with us on the day. We had planned our ceremony to be outdoors on the lawn facing the mansion however Mother Nature had other plans. Patti and her team were great and moved everything to the room upstairs. Everything came together beautifully! Greenery Caterers knocked the food out of the park! My husband ate everything on his plate and he is the pickiest eater I know! They did a phenomenal job, especially with the special request plates for a few of our guests with allergies. I would highly recommend the Carriage House and Greenery Caterers!

Our experience was absolutely perfect. The food is unbelievable. Each of our guests got steak and a crab cake and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was professional and Michelle went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly. She made sure we ate and was personally serving us and our parents drinks. We cannot thank you enough for the outstanding job you all did on our daughter/son-in law's special day. From taking over the pre-decorating to making every single thing run so smoothly to the very end clean up. You all know what you are doing, how to do it and you should be commended. I have heard so many stories from other venues about the parents of the bride/groom being pulled away to handle things. I attended a wedding at the Carriage House back in the summer of 2015 and I fell in love. When I got engaged, I immediately ran to the Carriage House to potentially book. Well, we ended up booking with the, and don't regret it at all! It is beautiful- the grounds and the inside are both breathtaking! The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our planning process. I have to especially thank Michelle for being there during our wedding and making everything run as smooth as possible! Everyone of our friends and family that we've talked to has said how wonderful everything was, including the delicious food! What a unique place! I would recommend this venue to anybody!

Greenery Caterers was wonderful! The venue is beautiful, full of stone, wood and copper surfaces. The food was delicious, and the serving staff was very friendly. Our wedding planning experience was easy thanks to the staff of Rockwood Carriage House and Greenery Caterers.
Each staff member we worked with responded quickly to emails and worked with my husband and I to personalize our day.
We were able to enjoy our wedding day due to how comfortable Michelle made us feel; it was as if we were the only wedding she had ever worked on. She was so personal and made us feel relaxed.

I was searching for the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. I chose The Carriage House because of the charm and rustic layout. We wanted a step up from your typical barn wedding, and The Carriage House offered that with stone walls, wood and brick floors and wooden beams. It was the perfect balance between rustic and modern. All the guests commented on the warmth of the venue. The Carriage House provided rooms for both the ceremony and the reception under one roof. Since this was a December wedding, it was important that we had the option of having the ceremony inside rather than outside. It is conveniently located to local hotels, Amtrak, and the Philadelphia Airport for out of town guests, which was also important to us. The real added bonus was The Greenery Caterers and Michelle Quirk. Michelle guided us with menu choices, recommendations for DJ's and bakeries, and helped us envision what the day would look like. She responded quickly to every email and inquiry we had along the way. The Greenery Caterers provided a spectacular tasting event where we could sample filet, roasted chicken, pastas and more. The food was very high quality and a great value for the money. The staff served the appetizers and salads, and we chose the buffet service where the staff would dish your plate for you. On the day of the wedding, Michelle was right there guiding the vendors and staff, and keep everything and everyone on track and on time. When the bridal party arrived, she made herself available to my daughter to make sure she felt calm, happy and ready for her big day. We had one unexpected "emergency" on our side, and Michelle jumped into action to resolve it. The venue was clean, the staff attentive, the food was delicious, and the wedding went off without a single problem. And to top it off, the Rockwood grounds were decorated in beautiful Christmas lights. The perfect day!

Nothing much to add besides what has already been said. Throughout the process, everyone we worked with was great including Craig, Patti and Michelle. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and they obviously are experts at running wedding receptions. The food was outstanding. Everyone loved the burger bar we had at Happy Hour. Michelle made sure we were taken care of throughout the reception. We couldn't be happier with our decision and would recommend to anyone looking for a reception site!

I can't even begin to express my gratitude for everyone at Greenery Caterers and the Rockwood Carriage House. From the very first tour we took of the venue to the last few minutes of our wedding, my husband and I were so amazed by how professional, attentive, and meticulous the members of the staff were. We truly felt like they cared about our wedding as much as we did. Michelle is an absolute PRO and made the entire event run flawlessly. It was such a relief not having to worry about any of the logistical details (especially on the day of our wedding!). We are still getting compliments from friends and family members on the venue and the food. If you are considering having your wedding at the Carriage House, DO IT. You will absolutely not regret it!!

I initially fell head over heels for the Carriage House because of the beautiful, green landscape and soft, rustic interior. Throughout the planning process, I was more and more impressed with their ability to accommodate our personal preference and exceed our expectations when it came to the food, drinks, and decor. I was wedding planning from out of state, so I was very thankful they were able to get us in for a tasting and finals meeting at our convenience.

Thank goodness for Michelle! Michelle is extremely thorough in all that she does, which helped me remain as calm, cool, and collected as possible on such a big, emotional day. I especially appreciated her follow through when it came to small details I wasn't be able to handle on the wedding day because of my schedule. She was also so great with day-of timing. Our wedding party can be a tough group to redirect and refocus, but Michelle handled everything seamlessly and got us where we needed to be when we needed to be there.

The Carriage House has this whole wedding thing down to a science. They do not mess around, and they take their customers/clients very seriously. I am so thankful for Michelle, and everyone at the Carriage House, for ensuring that our special day ran so smoothly and making it seem so effortless. They did a phenomenal job.

The Carriage House at Rockwood Park was a DREAM venue! My husband and I were married on July 17, 2016 and we cannot stop raving about our experience. We found the venue last summer and fell in love. We opted to do a brunch wedding which is unusual, but the Greenery Caterers did an AMAZING job. The food was delicious, the venue was gorgeous and the staff were so lovely to work with! I regularly communicated with Margaret, Patti and Michelle via email and in person. Each in person meeting with the staff was pleasant and productive! Wedding guests commented on the professionalism of the entire staff. I would highly recommend this venue to everyone! Thank you Carriage House at Rockwood Park AND The Greenery Caterers! A truly special venue that met everything me and my wife were looking for: Beautiful venue, delicious food, amazing staff. Michelle and her staff made sure everything ran smoothly along the whole entire process from the first planning meeting to the wedding day itself. The venue itself is a blend of modern and rustic and our guests loved walking the grounds of Rockwood Park. The food served by the Greenery Caterers was delicious and we got nothing but compliments from our guests and were very eager to work with those that had allergies or food preferences. We were extraordinarily happy with our choice of venue and had the greatest day of our life there!

Venue - breath-taking with minimal added decorations needed (inside and outside)
Management - so accommodating, responsive (email and phone), kind, flexible, and a pleasure to work with.
Food - DELICIOUS. We prefer healthier options and they accommodated that. Also gave great portions, no skimping, and had delicious and diverse hors d'oeuvres and entree options.
Planning process - great. They nicely have planning checkmarks spaced out for you the several months leading up to your event that nothing feels like a surprise or overwhelming.
Cost - Though it may seem to be a high price, I believe you are paying a good price for the great services given. I'd say our cost for venue (ceremony and reception), food (hors d'oeuvres through dessert), all linens, tables, service, etc., dance floor, for a Sunday night for about 130 guests was roughly 14-15k. It is also nice that you can get venue and catering from one vendor - makes wedding planning so easy that I never got a wedding planner (I handled the rest myself).

Highly highly recommend.

We had our wedding at The Carriage House a few weeks ago on 5/21/16, and The Carriage House staff helped to make it the most memorable day for us. We originally planned to have our ceremony outside on the grounds of the Carriage House, but the weather did not cooperate. Michelle did a wonderful job of making my ceremony vision come to life in the upstairs room. The ceremony space looked beautiful with all of the decorations we rented. We specifically chose this venue because they had an indoor space to hold the ceremony in the event of inclement weather. The Carriage House staff if very accommodating and they really do their best to work with you to make things run smoothly, and they welcome your creative ideas. The food was excellent and we received many compliments on the food. Michelle does a great job as the day of coordinator for your wedding. She helped organize the bridal party and keep everyone on schedule until the start of the reception. She was so attentive to my husband and I throughout the entire reception always making sure we had a drink in our hand. I am so thrilled we chose to have our wedding at The Carriage House. Looking back I would not have changed anything about the day.

Michelle and Patti were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were quick to respond and helped us plan all the details for a flawless event. Day of, I didnt have to worry about any of the details, which was great, Michelle was able to pull everything together for us. The food was FANTASTIC, we went with the filet and crab cakes, and the guests keep saying how delicious they were and have asked to get a recipe! I didnt originally like the idea of going with a buffet style, but it worked out well. Guests were fed and seated quickly, and were happy to be able to grab seconds.

Absolutely loved having my wedding reception here! First, the food was excellent, both the hors d'oeuvres and the main courses. Second, Michelle and Margaret were amazing during the planning process and they helped to alleviate a LOT of the stress that comes with planning a wedding. Third, Michelle was amazing at directing everyone in our wedding party (God knows some needed some extra direction) and also making sure that my new husband and I were well taken care of during the reception. Lastly, the ambience of the Carriage house was fantastic with the stone walls, brick flooring, and the lighted ceiling. There were a lot of places for possible photo-ops. Just an amazing time all around. We are still receiving compliments about the reception about a month later.

Their attention to detail, quick responses, kindness, enthusiasm, organization, and genuine love for creating the best wedding experience ever is clear from your first point of contact with the venue and staff and continues on throughout the entire planning process. After researching venues in the Delaware Valley Region that were affordable, rustic, and unique, BUT also had all the elegance and conveniences of an upscale/innovative event space, I chose the Rockwood Carriage House and I couldn’t be more thrilled! The scenery and unique grounds offer ample opportunities for your photographer and videographer to capture every moment of your day with a truly breathtaking backdrop. The historic building itself is the definition of rustic elegance and offers a magical ambiance; the beautiful carriage doors in the reception room, wide plank wood floors, wall of floor to ceiling windows, stone/brick walls, the industrial touches of metal and wood beams, the extra large elevator that can fit your entire wedding party and then some! Now onto the FOOD! So delicious and endless… your guests will rave about how every time they turned around there was another tray of appetizers and that the food was amazing! One of my favorite parts of working with Greenery Caterers was how flexible they were with helping us make our wedding vision come to life. My wife and I decided to have a traditional Celtic hand-fasting ceremony in the upstairs gallery suite and Michelle was able to create a seating circle that gave us the experience we wanted with so many candles and lights! We chose to have our wedding at the carriage house at rockwood park on 5/24/15. It was absolutely perfect. We searched everywhere for a venue and as soon as we saw the carriage house we knew exactly. We had both our ceremony and reception there. It was the first place that we found that had a viable contingency plan for an indoor wedding that would have been just as beautiful as out in the gardens if the weather was not cooperating. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and the food outstanding. The entire team there is excellent as well. Michelle and Margaret were both amazing to work with. Michelle was invaluable throughout the entire process and even more so during the day of the wedding. Thank you for making our day perfect Michelle!! I would highly recommend the carriage house, greenery caterers, and the rest of the team.

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with the Greenery Caterers and the Rockwood Carriage House. This venue is a hidden gem in Wilmington and the staff at the Greenery are true professionals. Patti, Craig, Margaret and Michelle went above and beyond any of my highest expectations to make sure that my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams. I would not have changed a single thing about our special day. I did not have a wedding planner nor did I need one with this amazing staff. Margaret was quick to respond to my calls and e-mails whenever I had a question (which was frequent, especially within the last month or 2!) and Craig worked one on one with my mom to create a custom menu for us. The food was incredible, and the service throughout the night was top notch. I have been to weddings in the past where I did not receive a single appetizer, but that was definitely not the case here. All of our guests were well taken care of and Michelle especially made sure that the bridal party received plenty of food and drinks while we were waiting for our introductions. Michelle was so attentive and sweet throughout the whole process and made sure our wedding night was truly magical. Everyone was very knowledgeable about the grounds of the Carriage House and Rockwood Park, and worked extremely well with all of our vendors. Our guests were raving about the food, saying that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding and the best overall wedding they've attended as well. The Carriage House itself is so beautiful and well maintained. We had a Christmas wedding and the park itself was truly magical, with Christmas lights everywhere it was like a mini- Longwood gardens! Our pictures turned out amazingly beautiful. I would highly recommend Rockwood and the Greenery to anyone. During the months leading up to the wedding, the staff at Greenery were very helpful, organized and responsive. We ABSOLUTELY loved The Carriage House. They were amazing from start to finish. From Margaret, Patty, Craig and especially Michelle. They were so attentive to our needs and were very quick for responses on email and phone. I felt like they really wanted to make our day special and everything went smoothly. Michelle was such a great organizer and made us feel special on our wedding day. She served us our drinks and dinner the whole night and kept checking on us throughout the night. She also brought up our appetizers since we had a mix up with times. Margaret was amazing as well and made sure all of our questions were answered throughout the process. I would totally recommend this venue to anyone. The day was perfect but everyone made it so much better by being so responsive to our needs. We couldn't have asked for a better day and staff at The Carriage House. It was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious as well as the appetizers. Truly the wedding of our dreams! We got married about a month ago, and I can honestly say I wouldn't change a single thing about it. The Carriage House is absolutely gorgeous, we had great weather and were able to have our ceremony on the North Lawn, but I found that I never worried about the weather because the indoor ceremony space they have available is equally nice. All of our guests raved over the food. I can't praise Michelle and Margaret enough, they are fantastic! Margaret was so prompt and responsive to all of my emails and questions throughout the planning process, she was always happy to answer even the silliest of my questions. Michelle was amazing throughout the ceremony and reception making sure everything went smoothly and stayed on schedule. I don't think the day would have been so perfect without her. Patti, Craig and all the staff were kind and attentive. So pleased with our wedding, I only wish it lasted a bit longer!

She served as a liaison between the bar, kitchen, photographer, DJ, and ourselves to ensure that we had nothing to worry about. The food was absolutely incredible and guests are still talking about it being the "best wedding food" they've ever had.

The staff at carriage house is beyond attentive and makes sure your wedding day runs perfectly! We have no complaints and nothing but good things to say about the venue and staff! Michelle Quirk is by far the best part of the venue! She was on point our entire wedding day and kept a worrying bride very calm!! We recently had our wedding at the Carriage House and were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. We were completely taken care of from the moment we met them at our initial appointment right through until our wedding day. Michelle was amazing the day of our wedding and all of our guests complimented us on how welcoming she was. She was very professional throughout the whole process yet still such a kind person. Margaret, Patti, Craig and the rest of our service staff were also amazing and easy to deal with.
They all definitely had a huge part in our perfect wedding day. We would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have the best wedding day of their lives.
One little recommendation....it would be so nice if the bride and groom's dinners were packaged "to go" at the end of the night. The food was so delicious and we barely got to touch it. We definitely could've used it at the end of the night. :)

A friend recommended we visit the Carriage House at Rockwood Park when we began searching for a venue for our wedding. We are so glad this recommendation was made! From the very first time we met with Michelle, we knew this was the place for us. Craig, Patti, Margaret, and Michelle at Greenery Caterers took great care of us and ensured our big day was special. We hosted our wedding reception (including catering) at the Carriage House and the Greenery Catering team ensured that our wedding day was not only a memorable, PHENOMENAL party with truly spectacular food, but their level of service was truly unparalleled. The fact that the bridal party got to eat our hors d'oeuvres and drinks prior to entering the reception was fantastic and they even ensured my husband and I were able to enjoy our delicious filet and crabcake dinner (something all of our friends told us is IMPOSSIBLE to do at weddings). Michelle ensured the day of our wedding that everything ran completely smoothly, including managing all of our vendors, keeping the environment really fun and stress-free, and ensured everyone was having a great time with great food and drinks. I also loved that we could purchase our own alcohol for the event, so we were able to have a classy bourbon bar in addition to the standard beer, wine, and cocktails. We were initially drawn to the Carriage House due to the unique, gorgeous location, but the team behind this beautiful site (which is FANTASTIC for pictures by the way!) is second to none - truly a 1st class establishment at a very fair price for the Philly/DE/MD area.

Our wedding day at the Carriage House was nothing short of amazing. From our initial visit to the very last dance, working with Patti, Margaret and Michelle was easy and friendly, and we were confident they would make our day great. The Carriage House was the perfect venue for our wedding! Greenery Caterers pretty much take care of it ALL. Our wedding took a lot of planning and we were counting on the Greeney Caterers to not only provide ridiculously delicious food, but also coordinate the wedding AND THEY DELIVERED! Not only did every member of the staff do whatever they could to make the day perfect, but they are more than just caterers. The Greenery helps coordinate the day of - Michele was absolutely TOP NOTCH and we had nothing to worry about the entire day. Once the ceremony was over, the cocktail hour and reception commenced and the Greenery did not disappoint. Some of the quotes from our guests were:
"That was the best crab cake I have ever had."
"Each hor d'oeuvre got better than the previous, by the time dinner came I wasn't hungry, but the food was so good I had to eat!"
"The bartenders were on point - my glass was never empty,"
"The filet just melted in my mouth and I don't know what was in the sauce, but I just about licked the plate clean."

The final quote that we heard about 50 times was that "this was the greatest wedding I have ever been to" and we owe a large majority of that to The Greenery Caterers. No matter what you get from the menu, the food is high quality, delicious, and always delivered with a smile. I highly recommend The Greenery Caterers for your wedding needs, but also for any catering needs - we are going to use them for every catering event we have in the future.

We used the Greenery Caterers for my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception at the Delaware Natural History Museum and I am so very glad that we chose The Greenery. The wedding had to be planned in a very short time and Craig from The Greenery was the first vendor and most important vendor in making it happen. He was the most personable, helpful, patient (needed with my daughter), understanding, most professional, caring person we could have dealt with. A wedding stands and falls largely with the quality and service the caterer provides and Craig's food, we chose a plated buffet style dinner, was absolutely top notch. The staff was incredible and his assistant Yvonne helped us stay on top of the timeline of the ceremony and other parts of the evening in an also very caring, kind, friendly and efficient manner. I cannot say enough about the Greenery and totally recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you Craig and staff!

I can't say enough great things about this place!!! Everyone we worked with was fantastic - so helpful and accommodating! Michelle put me at ease and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. Once the big day finally came, I didn't have to worry about a thing! The venue is gorgeous and has so many places to take pictures inside and out. We were going to get married in the gardens but the weather was iffy so we moved it inside just a few hours before the ceremony with no problems at all. The upstairs ceremony space is beautiful, and a wonderful back-up plan for bad weather. The food was delicious - we went with the filet and crabcake combo. They even sent someone to pick up more whiskey for us because our guests drank it all. Patti, Margaret, Michelle, Craig, and all of the staff were so wonderful! Worth every penny!

Rockwood Carriage House is absolutely beautiful ! Greenery Caterers was outstanding ! They made our wedding day absolutely perfect. Greenery Caterers made my big day the best day ever! I knew I wanted to have my reception at rockwood as soon as I saw the venue. The building alone is everything you need for a perfect backdrop! When it came to the planning Michelle and Patti made it so easy for me. They listened and added suggestions when necessary. Every request my parents or I had were fulfilled, even down to the late night snack for my guest at 11pm of burgers and tater tots!! My guests are still talking about the food and how it was the best they have ever had at a wedding! Thank you Patti!!

Michelle was beyond amazing and even the guests noticed! My Champagne glass was never empty, whenever i turned around Michelle was there filling me up! seriously the best.

The location is gorgeous. Rustic but elegant, beautiful wood floors and stone walls. The mansion is right next door and the grounds are beautiful. The Greenery is excellent in every area. From starting the process and all the communication to getting everything just right, they never skipped a beat. Craig and Patti are great to work with along with Michelle and Margaret. Michelle will pretty much be your right hand girl on the wedding day and help you prepare and be where you need to be on the big day... She was fantastic and fun! The food is delicious. The bar tenders kept the drinks flowing and everyone agreed it was the best wedding they have ever been too! I highly recommend them for any occasion but from my experience everything went perfect.

It was truly a day beyond my wildest dreams. We held our ceremony in the space upstairs which made for some beautiful pictures. We had a small reception with 66 guests, and I was glad they were able to provide full service for a smaller group. They allowed my bridal party to arrive early that day so we could have hair and make-up done right on site. That really kept me relaxed! Michelle was so helpful that day and the food was delicious. We chose the stations menu with the carving, pasta and salad/veggie stations. I was surprised how tasty the turkey was. So many guests commented that it was one of the most fun weddings they ever attended. The beautiful grounds made the backdrop for our gorgeous pictures. My only regret is that I did not eat a piece of the wedding cake...I was too busy dancing!

Rockwood was such a joy to work with! Everyone was so accommodating. I knew it was the right place for me when I met with Patti. Patti was so easy to work with. Everything we said we would like she was happy to do. Craig does the most intricate carvings on pumpkins and just set us over the edge. Leading up to the wedding, Michelle, Margaret and Patti were all available anytime I had questions. On our wedding day Michelle greeted all the guests and kept the whole evening running on time. Everything was just as I had imagined. People kept telling me that something would go wrong, something always goes wrong. Not with Rockwood, everything was perfect. We opted for a buffet and Michelle served us at the head table. We had several guests who traveled from Ireland. My aunt and uncle came over. My uncle is in a wheelchair and my aunt remarked how Michelle was so helpful to them. This was the first event she has ever been to where someone (Michelle) offered to get my uncle drinks from the bar and his plate of food. My aunt has always had to get two plates of food or two drinks. She was so moved at how Michelle went above and beyond in such a thoughtful well. I can't say enough wonderful things about Michelle. She made sure everything was perfect the day of our wedding and it truly was. I highly recommend working with Rockwood and everyone at Greenery Caterers.

Rustic, Elegant, Intimate

That is how our daughter described the wedding she envisioned. The Greenery team made that a reality at the picturesque Carriage House for our celebration. From the outdoor ceremony to the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour and also the reception, the Greenery team helped her vision come together seamlessly. Patti, Michelle and the staff are experienced, professional and all about delivering beyond expectations. They are flexible, assuring, and pleasant from planning to execution. They have a list of vendors and suggestions to help with all aspects of planning a wedding. An indoor ceremony room eliminates the worry of inclement weather. The long winding drive from main road, through the Rockwood Park to the secluded venue is the perfect segue from ”everyday” to “extraordinary.” The “Day of” service was more than we could have asked for – with the staff anticipating needs and moving everything along graciously. We had used the Greenery many times over the years for personal and professional events, but nothing on the scale of a sit down dinner for 124 with wine service. The food was even better than at the tasting, and the service attentive but unobtrusive.

The bride and groom had a wonderful day and our guests were effusive in their praise: “storybook’; “gracious”, “beyond beautiful”, “elegant setting”, “delicious food” are just a few of the many compliments we received. A venue and team we would absolutely return to again.

The Carriage House at Rockwood Park is, in my humble opinion, the perfect place to get married (I may be slightly biased). In terms of the grounds and reception area, everything is beautiful, well maintained, and has a sort of organic rustic feeling that I wanted for my wedding. I chose to get married in the area outside the walled gardens facing the museum. I was worried that the area would have too much foot traffic, but on the day of it was totally private and beautiful. The back up option upstairs is also wonderful and part of the reason we ended up booking the venue because both the inside and outside options are fabulous. The reception area was perfect, and the dance floor was a great size. It did get a little hot in there (we were married in September 2014) but I think thats inevitable when 140 people are dancing in one location. Plus I did have that long white dress on, not the most breathable.

In terms of the staff and logistics, this venue really knows how to run a wedding. From the beginning, you'll work with Patti who is so pleasant and answers the big picture questions and helps you set down a day. Then you will transition to Margaret, who is incredibly responsive via email and anytime she doesn't know the answer to a question will defer to Patti and get it answered ASAP. And then, in your final meeting and the day of the wedding you will deal with Michelle mostly. She's a god-send. She knows exactly what questions to ask in your final meeting to make the day run smoothly. I honestly didn't even have to think about what things to have out and what to do when because she was running the show.

I guess you may want to know about food and drink too... they're great. The tasting is pretty damn accurate for the quality of food you'll have day of. You don't get to taste the appetizers, which caused me a little angst but I can tell you the ones I had were delicious. The whole staff at Rockwood made our wedding an absolute dream. They are fun but know their stuff. They were all so accommodating to myself, my groom, parents, and entire bridal party. Michelle kept everything running smoothly and averted any crises. The ambiance is stunning and warm. It needs very little added to make it beautiful. We had our ceremony upstairs and took photos outside - the atmosphere creates itself. Plus, the food is DELICIOUS. They ran the buffet so efficiently that everyone's food was hot and yummy. I can honestly say that you cannot go wrong with having your wedding at the Rockwood Carriage House for a variety of reasons. My wedding was as perfect as it could have been! First off, I received a lot of complements about the food. Their food is amazing! Secondly, it is a gorgeous venue. I got a variety of pictures around the park, the carriage house, and the reception space. Another reason is that they are extremely flexible! I kept on changing my mind about the decorations and Michelle and Margaret were always so accommodating and understanding. I was also a little anxious to see how the decorations were going to turn out despite the fact that I hired a florist and explained to Michelle what I wanted in certain areas. Everything was perfect and since the inside has exposed stone, it made everything look extremely romantic! (I had floating orchids). Throughout the reception, Michelle was also very attentive and on top of things, even my drinks! You will not regret having your wedding there because they are awesome!

Greenery was outstanding overall. They are clearly very experienced and I would highly recommend them. The process from beginning to end was very easy considering planning weddings are not easy at all! I worked with Craig, Patti, Margaret and Michelle.The food tasting was so much fun and made us so excited for all of our guests to try the food at the wedding! Michelle was very on point with everything on the day of our wedding and overall, everything went smoothly. A few things we do recall though..we were told by Patti that we could arrive anytime after 11 AM (ceremony was at 3:30 PM) to drop off decor/floral and the styling company we hired could start setting up but when my husband and the styling company arrived at that time, the staff wasn't there. Luckily there was ONE person there who said she had no idea anyone was coming at 11 AM. Thank goodness she was there! I also noticed some of the fake greenery/plants weren't removed from the reception space as requested. Patti and Craig were also not there at all the entire day of the wedding. If I could go back, I would absolutely still hire a day-of coordinator to make sure everything is handled so I didn't have to worry about it, but like I said, I still highly recommend them. The location is amazing, the venue is gorgeous and the food is so delicious! Thank you Greenery for making our wedding so special.

The best word to phrase my experience is excellence. One may say really but I can only account for what was provided to me. The staff was professional and friendly. The food outstanding and venue classic. My guest ranted and raved on how elegant and classy the event had been. Kudos to Michelle Quirk, who was fantastic. She addressed the needs of my guest, she was very personable and made sure everyone was comfortable. She is an asset to your company. Michelle thank you for all that you did to make my day a complete success. I would strongly recommend considering using the Carriage House for upcoming events. Once again Thank you

Perfection, top to bottom. I knew from our tasting session the food was excellent. Nothing about the food or service was "banquet food" The continual comments from our guest regarding the hor d'oeuvres to salad to main course were words or praise and delight. They accommodated multiple dietary needs for our guest from Kosher to Gluten Free and Gluten Free Dairy Free. No one suffered from cross contamination. We chose three food stations as apposed to table service and the presentation was beautiful. The food line flow was smooth and coordinated. The bar service was professional and accommodating to our guest. I preferred the host byob approach which was cheaper and I knew what to provide for my guest. All unopened bottles were returned to me at the end of the evening. Greenery Caterers would also be great for other events e.g., reunions and corporate events. Highly pleased. Now the venue: could not have been better. Positive experience working with Margaret and Michelle. You will not find a better and more knowledgable group of people to work with. Michelle is superb with detail, coordination and consistently on top of her game. Many of my guest commented about how wonderful and efficient Michelle was the entire evening. I was at ease knowing Michelle was present and never once had to worry about a single thing the entire night from prep, arrival of my guest, ceremony and reception. Michelle seems to accomplish all of this with poise, grace and her kind and comforting presence. We will miss working with this team.

My daughter's wedding reception was held at the Carriage House at Rockwood Park, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. This unique building is inviting with casual elegance, surrounded by gardens and walking paths. The service provided by Greenery Caterers is unmatched. The food was phenomenal and our guests were so pleased. The staff was very easy to work with and encouraged us to personalize the space to reflect the personality of the bride and groom. They were very patient with our many questions and made us feel very special. We could not be happier and would highly recommend this venue!

The Carriage House is a venue that beautifully combines old fashion charm with modern elegance. It has a lovely garden area for outdoor ceremonies and an equally pretty indoor "Plan B" room should weather be an issue. Michelle and all the staff are wonderful. They are friendly, efficient, accommodating and extremely professional. The food (provided by The Greenery Caterers) is absolutely delicious....and (per request) can be made gluten free! As the mother-of-the-bride, you hope that your daughter and future son-in-law's day will be all that they imagined it would be. Having the wedding at this venue will definitely help make that hope a reality.
