I was nervous about choosing a dress in a single day, especially coming from out of the country! Holly helped me try on about 20 dresses, picking different styles and fabrics, and offering suggestions for alterations.
I finally found my dream dress- a black embroidered pieces from Flora & Lane. Holly offered great advice on how to alter it to fit me, and how to NOT alter it, general pricing, everything I asked. When I had some hesitations, she held the dress and I returned a few hours later to get it.
From start to finish, the process was simple, painless, and an absolute joy. I cannot express how great the dress selection was and what a ray of sunshine Holly is. -

The Green Bride provided a wonderful experience for me and my family! We got the whole store to ourselves, Deedee allowed and encouraged me to try on so many different style of dresses to help narrow down my style. All the dresses were so beautiful, but also very affordable! Deedee was also very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to not spend a lot on a dress, but still want that special bridal experience because you will get all of that here! -

As the Mother of the Bride, I have to say that shopping at the Green Bride was a great experience. My daughter was very clear about what she was looking for and she found it here. It was a tough decision for her to choose- so many beautiful wedding dresses!
And what I appreciated so much was that there was not talking of cost, no hard sell, no uneasiness during the process.
It was an overall 10 experience and I highly recommend this shop! -

I was that bride that didn't even want to wear a dress, and more than that was NOT going to spend an arm and a leg on a one use dress. The Green Bride found me a dress I fell in LOVE with! The best part? It was only $300 dollars!!! -

The GB is spectacular. I went in knowing the style of dress I wanted, knowing the actual one I wanted was way above my budget. This shop consists of a mother-daughter team. The mother (she calls herself the fairy godmother), assisted me in finding the dress I wanted. She took one look at the photo of the kind of dress I was looking for, one look at me, and started picking dresses out. It's funny because the first dress I tried on is the one I ended up buying. But I tried on other dresses just in case and for fun, and she kept grabbing dresses that fit my body perfectly and were similar in styles to what I wanted. She also knew the style and history of the time that the dress was and made the whole process fun. I felt like a princess the whole time. The service here is excellent. -

Desiree Sent on 08/01/2013I had a very unique idea of how I wanted my wedding dress to look. I searched EVERYWHERE and there were no dress shops that had the dress I was looking for. I finally found it at The Green Bride. I know it's rare to find a red dress, but this cute little shop had exactly what I was looking for. My dress was perfect and I even had men complimenting my choice of dress on my wedding day. The girls who own the store are just wonderful people, and they really find a passion helping girls look gorgeous on their special day. I would highly recommend this store to any bride searching for the perfect dress. -

After the first time there, I knew I wanted to get my dress from them, but I forced myself to try a few other places just to be sure. We did end up getting my dress from them and I'm so glad I did! They were a joy to work with! They had me try on all styles, even if it wasn't something I thought would look good on me and thank goodness they did! What I had pictured ended up not looking good on me, and a dress I never would have looked twice at ended up being THE dress! Some of the dresses have been worn before, but the dress I purchased still had the tags on it, and was a fraction of the price I would have paid at a designer store, and I got a lot more for my money then if had I gone to a "chain" store. They even gave us a bottle of champagne and a rose to congratulate us on our wedding! Thank you Green Bride!!! -

I ended up finding my perfect dress at The Green Bride. Fair warning, though, that the owner will go into the dressing room with you and will ask you to strip down naked. It made me uncomfortable, but she did need to help me into a few dresses and didn’t make it too awkward. She had a wide variety of dresses for me to try and had me try on a few, um, revealing dresses that made me uncomfortable. However, once I placated her with those dresses and she saw how visibly uncomfortable I was with a plunging neckline, she did pick out the one I eventually fell in love with. I let her know I had two other dress appointments and would let her know if I wanted to come back for her dress. She was completely understanding and didn’t pressure me at all. I called her right before closing, and she actually stayed a little late so I could go back and buy that dress, and she even let me try it on again for someone that couldn’t be there earlier in the day. There were a few hiccups in the process, but overall, I loved my dress and the price was reasonable! -

This boutique is so quaint while screaming classic elegance that I found my dress on my first day looking for a dress with making this my first visit. I highly recommend The Green Bride. They helped me find the dress I was searching for but just couldn't see. It was there! It's more than a consignment store. It's a venture into your inner bride to bring out the outer. Best of luck to you all and that you consider the Green Bride before any other dress shoppe. -

Worst experience ever! I walked in here with it being my first dress shopping stop. And it was the worst. The owner Dee was rude from the beginning. I tried to blow it off thinking oh maybe she is just having a bad day. But then when I started trying on dresses she made me feel uncomfortable. I had left my bra on but she insisted that I remove it. She then would just stand there and stare at me as I struggled to get into the big dresses. Also after trying on a dress with no straps, I told Dee that I only wanted dresses with straps and then she didn’t listen and brought me another strapless dress. She then told us she had an appointment coming in and we had to leave so we did and then we were driving past her store to get some food and she was just sitting at her desk on her phone. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
