Lovely Wedding, fun reception
My daughter's wedding was held on a beautiful sunny day in November at The Grande, in Kennesaw, 1 year after she & her fiance selected the site. The Grande is a refurbished farmhouse with plenty of parking, excellent backdrops for photographs, & a spacious interior of lovely rooms which could accommodate the potential 158 guests. Our daughter & SIL, aficionados of all things farm house related, absolutely loved The Grande. We booked the venue immediately. The package included the wedding, reception, cake, DJ, & a credit towards floral. We found our own photographer & officiant. Then came a year of excellent, patient, service by each representative of The Grande. Grace in particular kindly shepherded my daughter, her eldest sister, & me each time we had a question or concern. By email, phone or text, we never had to wait or wonder. When the meeting for choosing particular decor came, the selections were immense; thank goodness I didn't have to lift a finger, just enjoy the process. It was also easy for my daughter & SIL to choose a menu from the food tasting meeting. The timeline of the reception meeting was smooth & thorough. During planning, after each meeting regarding choices of decor, food, flowers, & timeline, my daugher & SIL were emailed detailed information about each selection & corresponding cost of any thing they chose that was above the basic budget amount in the contract. Financially speaking, compared to other venues we visited, the bang for the buck at The Grande was simply amazing. Linda was our flawless wedding coordinator for the wedding rehearsal, wedding, & reception. She explained everything everyone needed to do & when. Due to her, the pacing of the reception events was perfect. No one had to wonder, "When will the pictures end?", "When will the bridal party come?" & the all important, "When can we get a drink?". The bar at the venue has a lovely turn of the century ambiance. We provided our own alcohol. We chose to have one extra bartender for the duration of the reception, for a very small fee, either $100 or $150, I can't recall. With 2 entrances/exits, the bar was never crowded. The DJ was professional. He played the 5 or 6 songs the wedding couple requested. He also played extensively from the list of 30 or so songs I suggested. Cutting the cake, throwing the bouquet, the garter toss, the gathering for send-off bubbles - all went so well, due to Linda's expertise. During the 3-plus hours of the reception, Linda came numerous times to ask if I needed anything, or had any requests. She had encyclopedic knowledge of the particulars of my daughter's wedding; she knew way more than I did. However, there were times when she asked my opinion. For instance, setting up the candy bar & my preferences. My go to answer was always, "hmmm, I don't know. Do what you think is best" And Linda quietly, efficiently, made it work. We ended up with 117 'yes' RSVP's, but less people actually attended. There was never an issue with crowding or waiting. I was told by several people how much they enjoyed the entire event & how fast it went. In sum, I found each representative of The Grande, with whom I spoke, to be kind, patient, & efficient. I wish I had known about The Grande when my eldest daughter married! While her wedding was lovely, it did not have the ease of the wedding planning The Grande provided. Truly a lovely venue, with lovely people, &.....an amazing price!

I had Riley as my wedding coordinator the day of and I was amazed with how well she and the other workers did. It was very stress free and I did not have to worry about a single thing. Even if I wanted something pushed back a few minutes she was supportive and made it happen. Best day of my life. -

A Sunday wedding at the Grande on the Off-season is the best value in all of metropolitan Atlanta. The venue excell at being all-inclusive. Good wine, good beer, great cocktails, fantatstic food, knowledgable & experienced staff, clear & easy to read contracts, easy and fast communication, transparency in billing and, most importantly, joy & enthusiasm for their work. I honestly can't recommend this venue and their all-inclusive packages enough. They can be as low-stress or as high-stress as you want. (I opted for low stress and it was brilliant.) I encourage anyone to put your trust in these experts. Let them do what they do best and you'll be more than happy. -

Great Value & Service at the Grande
I had my wedding here in August 2019 and could not have been happier! All of the staff at The Grande made the wedding planning process very straightforward. Staff at the event were all so helpful, and all of my guests were pleased with the customer service. Their prices are very reasonable, and the wedding packages include so much more than many venues offer. My wedding package included a ceremony & reception, dinner buffet & non-alcoholic beverage, event coordinator, flowers, cake, set up and cleaning fees, gratuities, and taxes. I also liked that I had the option of purchasing all of the alcohol myself (huge cost savings!). I chose a few decorating upgrades, and The Grande (and its sister location The Conservatory) have so many options for decor on hand at very reasonable prices.
The venue is beautiful and had lots of great locations for pictures. It was also nice that there are several outdoor locations to choose from for the ceremony, included a covered outdoor area. The bridal suite was comfortable and spacious. My only (very minor) complaint is that the groom's area is a little underwhelming.
Everything went so smoothly during the event. All of the staff kept the event running exactly on time and handled everything so professionally. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a wedding that is moderately-priced with top notch service. -

I haven't even had my wedding yet, but Waterstone Events have been wonderful.
This company has 3 options for venues with beautiful settings. They offer an all-inclusive wedding experience, including ceremony, reception, your cake, and a flower allowance! They include set-up, clean up, and gratuities. They have connections for pictures, DJ'S, as well as officiants available. They make one stop shop a wedding affair. -
Cayla Sent on 03/26/2018The ONLY reason I can’t give The Kennesaw Grande (Waterstone Events) the full 5 stars is because of one employees. One employee there did our first touch base meeting with us and was kind of rude when we spoke with her. My husband is from England and they have different traditions there so our wedding was a “hybrid” if you will. This particular employee seemed to be annoyed when we were making changes to their typical wedding timeline. She was also there briefly on the day of our wedding and she seemed annoyed then, too. Linda was our coordinator the day of the wedding and she was AMAZING! I was late to the rehearsal because I wrote the wrong time down, I was crying and frustrated but she assured me that it was fine and calmed me down. She even gave me a hug. She was such an angel on our wedding day. She made sure everyone knew where to be and when to be there! All of our family and friends went out of their way to tell us how sweet Linda was! The venue itself was perfect for our small wedding. We only had 50 guests and the venue was the perfect size! The dance floor was great! The outdoor part was so well kept and decorated beautifully! The main reason we chose this venue was because they were so transparent about their prices! They have nothing to hide! They have different packages so you can choose how much you want to spend and where you want to spend more. We upgraded our floral, cake and centerpieces. They take care of basically everything! It was so convenient for us because we don’t live in Kennesaw. The pictures on Facebook don’t do it justice, it is absolutely gorgeous! My husband and I are so happy we chose this venue! All of our guests loved it as well! The staff works very well with you and makes sure everything is taken care of! The vendors they use are also incredible! It was the best wedding food and cake I’ve ever had! Many of our guests said the same! Don’t hesitate!! Book The Kennesaw Grande if you want a stress free, amazing wedding!

The Grande ended up being a great fit for my wedding! They offer an all-inclusive package that we took advantage of. Throughout my engagement, I noticed they made improvements on the property (such as adding pavers, silk flowers, etc. that added special touches to the big day).
Breakdown of included vendors:
Cake from Confection Perfection: 5/5 amazing, organized, good communication, delicious!!!
DJ Scott Hendrix: 5/5 nice, friendly guy who kept the party going and played all the correct songs on cue during the ceremony. I trusted him completely!
Flowers from Waterstone Events: 5/5 my floral arrangements/bouquets were BEAUTIFUL and exactly what I envisioned. So worth it!!!
Catering from Waterstone Events: 4/5 The food was really good, but not the most amazing ever. I thought the upgraded appetizers were not worth the cost, so we brought our own. Also, we were not able to try any of the upgraded dishes at the tasting, so we stuck to the basics. I would've preferred to taste them all before deciding!
Day of Coordinator- 3/5 The person was nice and organized, but they're only there for a little while on the day of the event, and I really could've used them earlier on in the day. My mom ended up getting all the signs, added decor, etc. set up before the ceremony and the venue still was confused about our table arrangements the day-of. I did not meet my coordinator until the rehearsal and I felt like she didn't know me or anything about my wedding. I would've preferred to meet with one coordinator at each meeting leading up to the event, but instead we met with a different person each time, so there were a few gaps in communication throughout the process.
Overall, my wedding ended up beautiful and perfect, but a lot of that is because of the effort my mom and I put into planning. I would still recommend The Grande, but there a few improvements they could make to amp up their rating. I loved the all-inclusive package, though, and it was a great value for our budget! -
Kim Sent on 10/27/2017The. venue is beautiful, dealing with some of the staff was challenging. Something I did not take note of during the tour is that this facility has one restroom with one toilet for 100 guests! Long lines and frustration was the result for our guests. Also-the head bridal table was some flimsy folding table, doesn't sound like a problem since only the bride and groom were eating at it BUT the room was so crowded to squeeze in 100 that it was very difficult not to bump around. Well-this head table got bumped and everything fell including the toasting flutes which broke. The venue is beautiful when there is natural light outside but at night it gets really dark and dingy. That was disappointing. We should have looked at the space at night since we were having an evening wedding. The flowers and cake provided in the package were perfect! Some staff was nice and knowledgeable and some staff was rude and gave wrong information.
