If you are looking for a fairytale wedding, look no further than Bella Sera Gardens. The staff at Bella Sera were exquisite and the venue is magical. Straight out of a storybook, Bella Sera will sweep you away with the beautiful scenery, charming Reception Pavillion and fairytale Air Chapel. The courtyard is gorgeous with a stunning fountain and precious swings and fire fountains. The bars are simply the icing on the cake that wraps the courtyard together. Everywhere you step you will find an amazing photo opportunity with guests. The decor is perfection and filled with vintage magical touches everywhere. The entire venue is like a dream come true! The staff is courteous and friendly. I could not have asked for a more beautiful venue to have our dream fairytale wedding!

Look no further. You simply will not find a better venue. The outdoor chapel is exquisite; the Italian garden stunning and the reception building perfect. And, it's all inclusive. So, you won't have your guests moving from the church to the venue - it's all right there. They also have a chef. The owner, Robin, went over and above to make this an incredible and beautiful experience, literally. After the ceremony, she got on a 20-foot ladder to make a certain picture I had in my mind perfect. Who does that? She's got an artist's eye and LOTS of experience. We looked at everything in South Alabama and this, by far, we the most beautiful and easiest. -

Summer Wedding in Beautiful Bella Sera Gardens
We had our wedding (ceremony and reception) at Bella Sera and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding day! There are so many places on the property to take pictures so be prepared for your photographer to have a blast - mine did! Robin, the owner, was very easy to work with and gave a lot of cool and fun ideas for the wedding on the tour when I was trying to figure out my vision for the day. The bridal house was roomy and the bathroom is large so plenty of room to get ready on the property. One of many things I loved about the venue is that every part of the venue is beautiful - the courtyard, the fountains with fire, the bars in the courtyard, the open air chapel and bridges... even the bathrooms for guests are beautifully decorated. You MUST tour this place if you are looking to get married in South Alabama!! -

This place was an absolute NIGHTMARE!! I wouldn’t recommend it to my biggest enemy. Their bar communication is TERRIBLE!! The owners daughter was in her underwear a tank top and no bra smoking her vape on the front porch when my vendors pulled up to start unloading at 9am. No where in my contract did it say someone physically lives in the “bridal suite” we were unaware that she was even there the whole time we were getting ready. She was locked away in a room somewhere, no one even offered to make sure we were okay or if we needed anything. I would have gotten dressed at my own home if I would have know the bridal suite I paid money for was someone’s living quarters. The day of the rehearsal, the owner was more worried about her wedding that was the day after mine. She cut my rehearsal short because she had a dinner date with her husband that she was late for. In the contract it said to be out by 10, around 9:40 the owners daughter started throwing away my personal belongings and was throwing it on the front porch. Even threw away the letter my husband wrote me for our wedding day. I have a 4 month old baby and she was crying and upset because all the chaos going on and the daughter told me to “shut my baby up”. I was an absolute wreck because of the way we were treated, and no bride should EVER have to feel like that on their wedding day. I was yelled at in front of my guest by the bar tenders and the cops were called by the owners daughter. I asked if they had ever been there before and they said they get called there ALL THE TIME for the same thing! I just want to make sure no bride ever has to go through this, this venue is known for how terrible the “staff” is and I hope every bride avoids this at ALL COSTS!!!The Garden at Bella Sera's reply:

The video/audio that we & the local authorities possess completely reveals the true nature of your presence on our property. Creating an imaginative, tall tale of a review is not the honest way to have reviewed your Wedding Day. It was such a lovely day recorded in video by the professional & talented vendor (you hired) that was onsite! Fortunately we have the video that reveals the not so beautiful, abhorrent ending.

If you & the bridal party had conducted yourselves properly then you could have removed your decor appropriately. Being directed off the property 1 1/2 hours past closing time by the local authorities is unfortunate on your part. As directed by the authorities, your remaining items were placed curbside…. (the following Monday) since you are not allowed back on the premises. -

Pictures, pretty. Experience, horrendous.
This place is pretty for pictures, but that’s about the only positive about it. If that’s all you care about as a bride, by all means, book this overpriced venue. However, if you want you and your guests to be treated with respect, a clean place to get ready, and for your requests to be taken into consideration, I’d suggest you get far away from this place. Robin (owner or whatever) physically put her hands on a guest, cursed at the mother of the bride in front of all the guests for addressing her concerns about how dirty the place was and the things that were supposed to be fixed before the wedding day and we’re not. Robin also took it upon herself to change things that were set up because “she didn’t like it”, yelled at the guests for lighting sparklers in the fire, and the list goes on. VERY stressful and not something I would spend thousands of dollars on. The pictures were nice, but definitely not worth the headache of this woman. So, my suggestion, go buy you a nice used car to take on your honeymoon with the money you could save by staying far, FAR away from this overpriced, dirty, smelly venue :) -

I was a dj at a wedding at this venue and the owner and manager were excessively rude even going as far as starting a verbal argument with myself and my brother during a client's event and threatening to have us escorted off of the property by the police all because of a 1 star review that I left her and refused to remove or apologize for. The photographer told me that every time she does an event at this venue the owner has an issue with someone. The owner will also require your music be played so low that it will be very difficult to hear it. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.
