  More than we could've asked for!

  We truly cannot recommend The Foundry MORE. This venue is beautiful, a fantastic value for the price, and has the kindest staff. The venue manager, Larry, is straight up the best. From the day we signed our contract to rent the space, he was our biggest cheerleader. He texted and emailed with us frequently to ensure we had the support we needed through the planning process, and as we got closer to the day he was even more helpful with suggestions and assistance. We got so much more than we paid for, just because he is the nicest, most helpful, very experienced in this area, and professional person. We are so grateful to him and his team for everything... We are so grateful to him and his team for everything they did to make our day easier. He coordinated and stepped in way more than he had to, just so family members could get back to the party and he could finish up their designated task. We LOVED working with the Foundry, Larry, and the team. Our bartender through them was fantastic too, making the drinks exactly to our specific recipes. Use the Foundry for events, weddings, baby showers, literally anything if if means you get to work with Larry!!

  Best experience ever!

  We had the best experience with the Foundry for our wedding on October 23, 2021. We booked the Foundry for the whole weekend and did the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, reception, used it Saturday for the bridal party to get ready, and Sunday for brunch and opening gifts. It was the best weekend. The Foundry is such a cool venue, pictures are awesome, and the whole staff is amazing. Larry helped us over the past year of planning with any and everything we could think of. He was extremely responsive and knows what he’s doing. During the wedding weekend, he made sure everything ran smoothly. He really made everything so stress free for us! Katie was so helpful when we did our pictures at the lake. If it weren’t for her, pictures would have taken twice as long! The bartenders were also super awesome. We had 3 signature drinks and they absolutely killed it. Everyone loved them. I couldn’t recommend the Foundry enough to anyone planning an event. It was the best weekend ever and these people are amazing!

  My initial destination wedding was canceled due to COVID so we decided to have a small wedding in town last minute. Larry was absolutely AMAZING!! Planning a wedding in less than 3 months is extremely stressful but Larry helped in every aspect from decorations to catering to even helping me figure out how much alcohol I should buy and during the reception Larry stayed busy the whole time, helping with things he definitely didn't have to do. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and reason enough to book it, especially the courtyard but just know you will truly have someone in your corner helping you every step of the way if you need it. Thanks again Larry for helping my day be as special as it was!!

  Incredible Experience

  We are so overjoyed at the incredible experience we had with The Foundry Event Center. Larry, Jennifer, and Betsy were so helpful leading up to the event as well as the day of our wedding. We did our ceremony on the back patio and the reception indoors and both were absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend The Foundry for all of your wedding events!

  We had our ceremony and reception at The Foundry and it was amazing, top to bottom. Jen, Larry, and the entire team at this venue are professional, communicative, and genuinely want to make your event special and run smoothly.
  
  We live in the Kansas City area and were unfamiliar with vendors in Topeka so Jen helped us find exactly who we needed, and they all turned out to be incredible. Larry helped us with space planning, purchasing items and alcohol for the bar, and did all of our day-of coordination. Every step of the ceremony and reception was flawless thanks to his pre-planning, direction, and help.

  The space itself, inside and out, is beautiful and impeccably decorated. They have cushioned chiavari chairs, beautiful tables, and a ton of of decor you can rent that goes perfectly in the space. The outdoor patio is also amazing and made for beautiful photos - both in the daylight and in the evening when the string lights are on.
  
  We couldn't have had our dream wedding without the amazing folks at The Foundry and cannot recommend them enough!

  Best Venue in Topeka!

  When I was first looking at potential wedding venues, I was looking at venues that provided the bare necessities or were far out of town. I recall briefly looking at the Foundry Event Center in Topeka during my search, and after days of fruitless searching and contacting other venues, I came back to the Foundry when I saw that they were having an open house event. The moment I walked into the Foundry I knew that this was the best venue I had seen. I came prepared with a list of questions and Larry, the Bar and Events Manager, was there to answer them all! They offered three different packages that ranged depending on your needs, but their ultimate goal was to provide more than just the bare necessities. We chose the one that catered to everything we needed during our Saturday wedding. They also offered a décor package, which we took full advantage of so that we didn’t have to source and store all of the decorations ourselves! In addition, we also used their day of coordination services, and my day of coordinator, Robin, was absolutely fantastic! She helped with every detail of that day and took everything that I had already planned out and made sure that everything went smoothly. On the day of our wedding, I received numerous compliments on how smooth and seamless the whole event was going and reflecting back, I know I had such as great time because of who was there, and that it went so smoothly! Larry made sure that the drinks were flowing and that the fun never stopped. The whole Foundry team: Robin, Larry and Betsy (who I had the pleasure of interacting with at several open houses), were integral in making our wonderful night magical and the best night to remember. It may have poured all day long that December day, but it provided all of the luck and best wishes we needed.
