Amazing Event Space over the Willamette

It was actually an amazing experience planning my wedding and having it at the Foundry! With the last week changes to guest numbers, etc, Ashley was flexible and so kind. With the planning over months, I never felt rushed or pressured. She thought through the way we organized the room so it fit best as to what I was looking for. She had great solutions to how to make the reception flow and to arrange the room. I sent emails with my many questions and she would answer each one. I never felt like I was being annoying emailing her so much or so often and was always available.
I was so impressed with how she organized and set up the wedding and catering and it was the most perfect wedding day. It's a beautiful venue - we used the decks and the inside and it was beautiful. It's a great location on the river (Willamette) in Lake Oswego. It was amazing for guests to be inside and outside on all the decks and to be able to utilize them this June. I will always recommend the foundry for any event especially weddings! The food and the service was impeccable. The dance floor was an easy transition in the night and they were so easy to work with. I highly recommended the Foundry for any wedding or special event!
I had the most perfect wedding and the best day of my life! Thank you to The Foundry!

We had an exceptional experience at the Foundry. As soon as we toured, we knew it would be hard to beat and we were right (we toured other places, but none stacked up to the Foundry). Natalia was AMAZING. She is responsive, helpful, punctual, and an absolute joy to be around. We loved getting the chance to decorate this beautiful space, and we still have family and friends commenting on what a unique and beautiful venue it is. Arguably one of the biggest wedding decisions you could make is choosing a great venue, and you would be doing yourself a disservice not booking at the Foundry :) Highly recommend!

40th birthday party!

I had one of the most memorable birthdays EVER and a large part of it was due to hosting it at The Foundry! I love this place! I’ve had friends get married at this venue in the past and I knew it would be the perfect location for an elegant and fun birthday celebration! The DJ was set up on a little perch and it was the perfect spot. The dance floor was amazing! We had games by the DJ (which were a total hit and got a lot of guests meeting new people and interacting) and had a Photo Booth downstairs. If you want the perfect space for a classy, gorgeous, fun filled event, book The Foundry! I loved working with Natalia for The Foundry and Ashley for Urban Catering. The food was cooked to absolute perfection

A Magical Day

We are so glad that we chose the foundry for our wedding! The staff were attentive and helpful, the property was beautiful, the food was great, and it was a magical day. If you’re looking for an elegant indoor/outdoor venue by the water near Portland, look no further!

Great spot for a wedding!

This venue was amazing for our wedding! The scenery is stunning and it was perfect for an indoor outdoor event. We had the ceremony on the barrel and the river was a beautiful backdrop for our photos! We had 130 people at our wedding and the barrel, deck, and room were plenty big enough for everyone to spread out. Natalia and Noelle were super helpful and made sure our wedding day went off without a hitch!

This venue has it all!!!

As a professional photographer, The Foundry at Oswego Point is one of the best venues in the Portland Metro area! From the beautiful views from the promenade and amphitheater (a photographer’s and couple’s dream backdrop), to their newly renovated gorgeous bridal suite, this venue really has it all. Living in Oregon, it is so important to have a back up plan in case of temperamental weather, and their indoor space provides that perfect plan B for summer weddings, or a great option for winter weddings.

Aesthetics aside, their staff also makes this venue stand out. I have had the privilege of working with Natalia Barwegen many times over the years and the experience is always seamless and FUN. She is the perfect blend of fun and professional and brings a level of calmness to my couples planning their weddings. Couldn’t recommend more!

Beautiful and scenic venue!

As a career photographer I've had the fortune of shooting hundreds of weddings at hundreds of venues.
The Foundry is one of those venues I truly look forward to every time! The staff is amazing and helps couples through the process easily making it possible for couples to have a great wedding day!

For photography it's a dream!
There are so many fantastic locations to work with all in one amazing package. The views, the green areas, balcony and so much more all allow me to give my amazing couples variety and really celebrate their day.
I can't recommend them enough!

Natalia has taken care of us since day 1.

In Jan 2019 we reserved the Foundry for April 18th, 2020 to get married on our 5 year anniversary! It felt magical the moment we stepped inside. Despite The Foundry's willingness to work with us to create a safe experience during the first days of COVID-19, we decided to postpone just 3 weeks prior to our event! Natalia was extremely accommodating and compassionate as we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to September 2020. Additionally, when we felt the need to wait even longer (in July), she continued to support us through our second postponement to July 2021. We couldn't have asked for a better experience through this otherwise impossible time. I heard from many other brides that they lost money, were forced to keep their date, and were faced with apathy. I couldn't have asked for a more understanding and supportive experience. We cannot wait to celebrate our love at the perfect venue next year :) Thank you Natalia (Foundry)!

July 2020 Wedding

We were scheduled to have our wedding at the Foundry on July 25th, 2020. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 we decided to postpone. The Foundry was super accommodating in postponing our wedding to the next year. Natalia was amazing and so helpful throughout the whole process. We can’t wait to get married here in 2021!!

Great Customer Service

We had our wedding planned for Sept 2020 but given the current circumstances we postponed our wedding until Sept 2021 - Natalia and the team at The Foundry have been wonderful to work with during these uncertain times! I’m looking forward to next year to celebrate!

Simply beautiful venue!

The Foundry was the perfect venue for our medium sized wedding. Throughout the planning process, there was always someone to contact and reach out to with any questions and also helped us day-of (which was great, considering we didn’t have a wedding planner). Top Tier Venue

I have personally attended multiple events at The Foundry and have always had an excellent experience. Not only is this a beautiful and accommodating venue, but the staff are true professionals who know what it takes to produce high quality events. Specifically, Natalia ( the manager) has been very helpful. I can't thank you her enough and The Foundry is lucky to have her on their high profile team. Do yourself a favor and book a walk-through. We would like to thank you for all that you did Sunday, July 15 to make our reception at The Foundry such a fantastic night. Even though weather was so hot everyone had such a wonderful time, and we received many compliments about what an incredible venue it was. Many of our guests didn’t know about The Foundry and were blown away by the setting and how nice it was.

More importantly, your personal attention to our daughter and her new husband throughout the entire evening was so calming and comforting to them. You were always there for them but not in an overbearing manner which helped to make it a stress-free event. They were able to relax and have such a wonderful time because of your attention to detail and assistance. You did so many little things right like suggesting to them to take a few minutes upon arrival to take a deep breath and relax before the introduction. That may seem like an insignificant action to some people but that five minutes made the rest of the reception so much fun for them.

We are so thankful that through a change of circumstances you became our event coordinator at The Foundry. My wife and I were also at ease with your help Sunday and made it possible for us to relax too. It was so much fun and truly a magical evening for all.

This was the absolute perfect venue! Getting married on the dock was absolutely STUNNING. The view of the tree line and water was unreal. The reception was amazing. Having the combination of indoor/ outdoor with the deck was perfect. The venue has amazing preferred vendors as well with discounts.

We got married at the Foundry and I would highly recommend it as the perfect wedding venue! The venue is gorgeous and there are so many spots for great pictures! During the reception our guests loved being able to have the option of being inside on the dance floor or out on the deck mingling at the cocktail tables. Our event manager, Emily Stennes, was amazing! She promptly answered all my questions beforehand and the day of the wedding she helped wherever help was needed. Overall I would strongly recommend the Foundry to any engaged couples!

We are so happy we chose The Foundry as our ceremony and reception venue! We had toured a few places before seeing The Foundry but when we saw it, we just knew we wanted to get married there. We even changed our date from a Saturday to a Friday to book with The Foundry (our original date was already booked). We loved that The Foundry only schedules one event per day, and you have the venue for 10 hours, with the option to add more (we did, so the bridal party could get ready on site). Both the indoor and outdoor options at The Foundry are fantastic. We got married in the Roehr Park Amphitheater, just next to The Foundry. The Promenade was perfect for wedding party photos before the wedding. The windows in The Great Hall give breathtaking views of the Willamette River which is directly below. We had about 150 guests at our wedding and it was the perfect size. We would highly recommend The Foundry to other couples looking for a gorgeous venue with good views, and lots of options!

The Foundry was a beautiful place to get married. We had our ceremony on the promenade and it turned out just perfect. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We didn't have any problems on our wedding day and everything was set up exactly the way it was supposed to! The reception space looks particularly awesome with all the evening light coming through their wall-to-wall windows. We were very happy with this venue and will recommend to others!

We knew The Foundry was where we were supposed to get married during our initial meeting with Kaylee. The setting is beautiful, it's not too fancy, but elegant and a very flexible space to successfully execute your design vision. We even decided to get married on a Friday night, there was no Saturday availability, due to loving the space so much! Communications with Kaylee were flawless. Emails were only sent to me when important info was needed, and my email questions were replied to promptly and answered thoroughly. When our wedding day rolled around, rain was threatening and Kaylee was committed to watching the Doppler and worked with our day of coordinator to make sure our dream day was as dreamy as possible.

The Foundry is an exquisit venue for a summer wedding. The breathtaking dock with the backdrop of the Willamete River is so peaceful and relaxing. It was the hottest day of the year, so we were grateful to be escorted into the upper reception room with air conditioning and a extra large wrap around deck. The venue is very intimate but spacious for our guests and family.
The Foundry's customer service is top notch and Kaylee, our event coordinator was so easy to work with.

We just had our Reception at the Foundry and are so happy with how everything turned out. The Foundry is perfect for a medium sized wedding (we had 130) and provides the perfect setting. The view is great (both in the Great Room & outside), the deck is wonderful and the ability to walk the grounds was key for our guests as they never felt crowded. The Foundry was the best wedding location we could have imagined. Ashley, our coordinator, made the process so fun and comfortable from the initial tour of the venue, through organizing all the details with vendors, to the ceremony and reception. The setting is stunning right on the Willamette River, and getting married in March meant we had beautiful cherry blossoms and tulip trees blooming for our photos. The venue is the perfect size for a 100-150 person wedding. We loved using the balcony overlooking the river for our cocktail hour and the bridal suite was perfect for hanging out with the bridal party, friends and family before the wedding. Wholeheartedly recommend The Foundry for your wedding or any other event!

I don't even know where to start, oh my goodness Kaylee our coordinator is a SAINT! She was so sweet, so flexible, and so willing to work with us. Our wedding is located in Oregon but me and my fiancé live in California so making the trek up there is difficult. She was able to show the venue to mother and sister and they face timed me during the whole thing. She answered the questions I had- no matter how silly they might have been.
I am so happy with our decision to go with The Foundry and I cannot wait until our wedding in September.

I was pretty nervous about how my reception was going to turn out (because I have never planned anything like this) but it was amazing. The foundry is such a beautiful location!!! Alica, is the manager in charge of making sure everything goes well and believe me she is amazing! She will get back to you almost immediately sometimes whenever you have a question. Alicia made the whole experience at The Foundry so effortless which is exactly what you want. The only thing that I wish The Foundry did was let you have your own caterer...there is a list that you have to choose from but our food was still really good. This place is perfect!!

We just had our wedding at the Foundry and cannot be more happy with our choice of venue. When I began looking, I knew I didn't want a typical hotel/ballroom venue. The Foundry in particular stuck out to me as it is surrounded by nature and has indoor and outdoor space.
We did the ceremony in neighboring Roehr Park, which shares a parking lot with the Foundry. The reception was at the Foundry. The space felt perfect for our party of 160. We got incredibly lucky with our weather (a sunny 70 degree weather) so our guests were able to take full advantage of the space. Our guests were able to get some air utilize the porch space.
Overall the Foundry was extremely easy to work with. Staff was responsive to emails and flexible. I cannot imagine our wedding having been at any other venue and cannot recommend the Foundry enough.

The Foundry was the perfect venue for my wedding last week. We lucked out with beautiful weather but had a backup plan to do it indoors in case of rain. Our wedding had a smallish budget and 150 guests and The Foundry suited our needs perfectly. The venue sells itself with the beautiful location and indoor/outdoor capability. The professionalism and seamless collaboration between our event coordinator, Courtney, and our caterer, Premiere Catering made things so easy and stress-free!

Having my wedding at the Foundry was unreal, in the best sense of the word. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the beauty and contemporary, clean design of the actual venue (not to mention the surrounding beauty), and just the over-all atmosphere in all aspects was fabulous. The most beautiful place to have a wedding! Service was spectacular! The view is breathtaking and we got many compliments from all of our guests. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony on the Promenade and loved the feel of being surrounded by water. During the cocktail hour they enjoyed the view on the deck or walked around the venue to discover many other beautiful sites. The reception area was outstanding and included tables and chiavari chairs! It is a very large area with a dance floor and a view that you can't take your eyes off. Restrooms are conveniently located, it's already equipped with a sound system and disco lights, and a flat screen on the wall. We also loved the sparkler exit! I can't think of a better place to have any event especially a wedding!

The location is perfect being right on the Willamette River. Our guests loved how they could dance the night away on the dance floor or go out onto the deck and take in the beautiful surroundings.

The Foundry at Oswego Pointe was the perfect venue for our wedding. We are native Oregonians and couldn't have asked for a better mix of indoor and outdoor beauty. Even with a large wedding guest list of 260, the Foundry was able to accomodate us well. The staff was easy to work with from the beginning and remained flexible and responsive throughout our time preparing for the event. Go check this venue out!

The most beautiful place to have a wedding! Service was spectacular! The view is breathtaking and we got many compliments from all of our guests. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony on the Promenade and loved the feel of being surrounded by water. During the cocktail hour they enjoyed the view on the deck or walked around the venue to discover many other beautiful sites. The reception area was outstanding and included tables and chiavari chairs! It is a very large area with a dance floor and a view that you can't take your eyes off. Restrooms are conveniently located, it's already equipped with a sound system and disco lights, and a flat screen on the wall. We also loved the sparkler exit! I can't think of a better place to have any event especially a wedding!

Where do I even begin?!?! There is no doubt in my mind that our wedding couldn't of been as magical and special anywhere else other than at The Foundry. From the moment we visited we knew there was something special about the venue and that it was the perfect location for our wedding. The staff is UNBELIEVABLE, Debbie has created something so great and did a phenomenal job at hiring the right balance in her staff members. We worked with Alicia who helped us create our ideal wedding and went above and beyond what I thought a venue coordinator would do for us. I could seriously go to her for anything and she always provided me with quick response and great details and valuable recommendations. I have been recommending The Foundry to all my friends who are looking for a wedding venue because I was beyond impressed with all that they did for us to ensure we had our dream wedding. My fiancé and I checked out at least 10 venues in the Portland area. We decided on a late Mar wedding, so with the weather being unpredictable that time of year, we knew we needed to have an indoor ceremony. We also needed a venue that could host the ceremony and reception, since we weren't interested in a religious setting.

The Foundry turned out to be a perfect fit for us. We were a bit worried about only one location in terms of photo opportunities. But luckily the location offers beautiful foliage, rock formations, walking paths and the promenade over the water.

The traditional Saturday fee was outside of our budget, so we opted for a Thursday. Our guests didn't seem to have issues or mind, and most who came from out of town/state, ended up taking a long weekend and enjoying their stay in the pacific northwest.

We did end up working with a day-of coordinator though (Creations by Ly), since The Foundry doesn't provide facilitation of vendor engagement and conducting day of timing. Kaylee was our point of contact at The Foundry and she was always responsive to our questions/needs. She collaborated well with our day-of coordinator and caterer (Pearl Catering) on the chair/table layout for ceremony and reception and arrival/departure requirements and delivery needs.

We couldn't have picked a more perfect spot for our special day. Everything turned out beautifully and we appreciated the efforts of everyone involved.

Couldn't be a better venue for my daughter's wedding on April 13. Our 160+ guests had a great time in a fantastic room with beautiful views of the Willamette River. They could have arrived and departed by boat if they had wanted to! Foundry folks were easy to work with and had good relationships with our caterer, florist, decorator, etc. Real good value for the price too.

The Foundry was fantastic! All of our guests where amazed of how beautiful this pace was. My wife and I did a lot of research and this was actually one of the cheapest places we looked at. Also a lot of venues we looked at not only were more expensive but had a lot of rules and requirements. I really like that the foundry let us have the wedding the way we wanted and didn't limit us to rules and requirements. We felt this venue was the best value in Portland hands down. If you get a chance to use The Foundry as your venue I would book them right away, because I've already done the research and nobody else compares.

Great choice for a wedding or party of any kind. The view is breathtaking, the deck is big and roomy for everyone to step out and enjoy some fresh air, and the walkway down to the water a fun addition to take a short journey. Everything was perfect, the dance floor, sound system, lighting, tables & beautiful chairs provided, projector provided for slideshow, etc.... The Foundry was a fantastic place to host the wedding of my daughter and Son-in-law. The setting is phenomenal. The guest utilized the outdoor patio overlooking the Willamette River, as well as the main floor. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and courteous. They even offered a shoulder to cry on during a family crisis. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a reception no greater than 135 people.

What an absolutely beautiful place to get married! Once we saw the pictures online, we were amazed and thought it looked too good to be true. From the moment that we contacted them, we knew that their professionalism would exceed our standards. The staff was very welcoming, they answered all our questions, if they didn't have an answer, they'd get back to us. They were very responsive to our contacts. A word of caution, reserve your date a year ahead of time as they go quickly and luckily we booked a year in advance and got the date we wanted.

When it got time to meet with the vendors, Kaylee was very responsive, positive, and helpful at every moment and worked very well with the other vendors to ensure there were no hiccups.

Our wedding itself was everything we wanted it to be and more. Kaylee was there at every moment and was there til the end when we had our send off. The facility itself is very clean and well-maintained.

The sparkler package is totally worth it! It makes the departure pictures much more exciting!

We worked with Kaylee at The Foundry and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond to make our day beautiful and perfect. We were worried about the weather and she made sure to implement a Plan B and let us know to not worry about anything and let her worry about such things. She also made sure to work with all our other vendors and communicated well with them to make sure things run smoothly and that everything falls well together.
We were very happy we chose this beautiful venue and having worked with such a great person just made it that much better!

We are so glad we had our wedding at The Foundry! Kaylee, our coordinator, answered all of our questions, and even helped me get through some "bridal freak out moments" during the months of planning beforehand.

I want to point out that our wedding was in the fall, and my husband and I were determined to have the ceremony outside even if it was raining. Kaylee helped me figure out how we could accomplish this, and supported our (rather crazy) dreams the entire time. It did not end up raining the day of the wedding, but man, we were prepared!

I can't recommend The Foundry enough. Kaylee supported us every step of the way and was incredibly thorough at keeping track of all the details. She made time in her schedule to meet with me outside of the standard "walk through" appointments whenever I asked her to. We really appreciated that we only had to deal with one representative at The Foundry, from the day we took a tour to the last hour of our reception.

Oh, and The Foundry is GORGEOUS. We got so many compliments from our guests. The backdrop is stunning, and the reception hall is completely customizable. We got so many compliments from our guests.

Our Five Star Wedding Night

My wife and I recently married at the Foundry, and it was the best decision we could’ve made. When we first started looking for a venue, we knew we wanted something close to home, with a warm atmosphere. We looked at a few different places, but never really found that spark, we were looking for. That all changed when we stopped by the Foundry.

We first met Natalia and her team of experts back in September of 2018. From the first meeting, we were amazed at the high energy and confidence her and her team members brought to the table. They were extremely supportive in our vision, and really made it feel like home. After the warm reception we received, we knew this was the place. The promenade on the Willamette river is stunning, and the reception hall is beautiful.

Leading up to the day of the wedding, like most couples, we went through a few changes in the planning. Natalia and her team were always quick to respond, and very flexible if we needed something changed. The feeling we kept having, was that their goal was to make sure our wedding was successful, and these ladies did just that. They were determined, energetic, smart, and professional right form the start.

On the day of our wedding, it unfortunately rained, which meant we had to move the wedding inside. Obviously not what we were hoping for, but when it’s out of your control, you just have to run with it. Even though the weather through a wrench in the plan, Natalia, along with the outstanding help by Pearl Catering were able to flip the reception hall, and the ceremony inside was beautiful. Along with the amazing food prepared by Ashley’s team at pearl catering, the entire event was a hit, and just incredible. By the end of the night, nearly all of our guests told us how great the venue and food was, and how much fun they had. We got incredible pictures and video taken inside and around the venue.

I can’t say enough nice things about Natalia and Ashley, and how hard they worked to make our special night successful. It’s always special seeing the entire process from start to finish, and we couldn’t have done it without the help and oversight from Natalia and Ashley. We were truly lucky to find an amazing team, that shared the same passion about our day as we did.

If you’re unsure about a venue for the big day, look no further, the Foundry will leave a place on your heart, you’ll remember forever. Five stars for this incredible team.

The Foundry is the dream wedding venue. The promenade overlooking the Willamette river is the most beautiful back drop for any wedding. The Foundry was the PERFECT setting for our late summer wedding! Kayley is very accommodating, friendly, and enthusiastic! She was at our event and worked hard to make it perfect, even 8-months pregnant! Compared to the other "featured" wedding venues in Oregon, the Foundry offers the most bang for your buck! You get access to the promenade, garden patio, cocktail deck, and the grand ballroom. The dance floor is centered in the ballroom and has speakers directly over it so that conversation around the room isn't drowned out by the music. I absolutely recommend this venue!

We fell in love with the Foundry at first sight. Even though it was one of the most expensive venues in the area- we could not beat the location for our small wedding celebration! The indoor/outdoor venue with the promenade over the river was phenomenal! Ashley, our on site coordinator, was wonderful to work with- very confident and made us feel like she had everything under control! She answered questions throughout the year of planning very promptly and gave very good insight and helpful suggestions. Even though there was an ownership/management change the month prior to our event, Ashley remained calm and we never worried! She coordinated a meeting with all of our vendors and communicated so effectively that everyone was on the same page and the event ran smoothly! Our photographer loved all the options for backgrounds and we had a beautiful night! We would highly recommend The Foundry for any intimate special occasion (85 people).

We loved our experience working with the Foundry at Oswego Pointe. We thought the venue was absolutely beautiful and fit our wedding perfectly. The wedding was absolutely beautiful - the perfect combination of the beauty of the great outdoors and the comfort of an indoor space. We didn't have a huge budget, so it was nice that the venue did not need much in terms of decor. It also came with black chivari chairs, which were lovely. The venue had an elevator, which was great because my father had some mobility issues. The staff was really professional, helpful, responsive, and nice. We looked at about twenty venues before deciding on the Foundry, and definitely feel that we made the right choice.
Also helpful was the elevator. My dad is not very mobile, so it was really great to have.

Our wedding at the Foundry was amazing!! We are so blessed to have had such a beautiful event space for our special day.

Alicia and the rest of the Foundry staff were very professional, fun and relaxed. (Which really can help a nervous bride) Everything went perfectly and many of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to.

Even despite the Oregon fall rain, we were able to utilize the beautiful promenade for some spectacular wedding photos. I wouldn't have changed a thing. ( Even with the very full house of over 200)

This was an amazing venue for our special day and we enjoyed working with the people from The Foundry! We felt cared for and our wedding went off with very few hiccups. The Foundry staff knew who the go-to person was for questions and we were able to fully enjoy our wedding! The venue is beautiful and I have zero regrets about choosing The Foundry. We had over 130 people so we were unable to use the round provided by The Foundry, but we rented the amphitheater space next to the reception venue from Lake Oswego Parks and Rec. That whole process was so easy! My only complaint is the wine. The Foundry goes through a local winery to provide the wine but, we have a friend whose family has a winery in Hood RIver. We went to our first meeting with The Foundry and they gave us the impression that maybe since we have a prior connection, we could get our wine with the other winery. As things got closer, we found out we were still held to the 2 case minimum for wine ($250 per case). We were disappointed and decided to not get wine with our connection and just get all the wine through The Foundry since we already needed to buy the 2 cases. In the end, the wine worked out well and our guests loved the sections anyway. Overall, thank you to The Foundry for providing such a wonderful space and great employees who made our day so special!

Beautiful Riverside Venue

The Foundry at Oswego Pointe is a stunning location for a wedding! We hosted ~100 people on the promenade for an early evening ceremony. The nearby park and Fall foliage created a magical environment for photos. The venue had it all, including a ballroom dance floor, ample space & bride/groom dressing rooms. Additionally, the second floor deck served as the cocktail hour and bar location, providing a starry sky view for guests to enjoy throughout the evening. The BYOB alcohol policy led to a big bar selection at a solid bang for our buck! The staff (Emily was our Coordinator) was friendly and responsive. Overall, the Foundry at Oswego Pointe helped to create an incredible wedding. If you are looking for a venue in Portland, then we highly recommend it.

Great venue, good staff

The Foundary at Lake Oswego Point was wonderful. They were very accommodating and made my wedding extra special. Nothing but good things from all my guests. Space was clean and the event coordinator who worked with me ( Emily) was organized. My only concern was during my wedding planning process, there were some changes in leadership. This made the response time to my questions and emails slower than I would like ( sometimes it would take them a week to get back to me). However after all the dust settled, they were back to being excellent. Would definitely recommend to other couples looking for a wonderful Oregon venue!

The Foundry was the only place my husband and I fell in love with. We wanted a place with gorgeous views and a good indoor space for our ceremony and reception all in one place. It was a beautiful location. The staff was so friendly and eager to help us with anything we needed. I think the only downside is we were given a very small list of vendors for catering and other things that made it difficult to choose between. We had a great caterer but would have liked to shop around more without a $1k fee added if they weren't on the list. Other than that, I think it was the perfect location for our Galaxy Themed wedding.

Expensive for just a venue, but an absolutely gorgeous location (we're very happy with our decision). Only real issue is that it would be nice for the price if it also had sound piped to the ceremony area (we had to bring a whole sound setup just for our 20 minute ceremony.

We had our wedding recently at The Foundry and it was a perfect day! The Foundry and all of our vendors were extremely flexible with the weather and we waited to make a final decision about an hour before the ceremony. We did the ceremony inside for fear of rain but it was still beautiful! Courtney was fantastic on the day of and was a pleasure to have there with us. The ample parking and beautiful views made it an easy venue for all of our guests as well.

The Foundry was the beautiful and perfect reception site for my wedding. I did my ceremony at Roehr Park since I had too many guests to fit the promenade and it was very convenient.

Alicia was great and helped me tremendously throughout the process. The only thing I wish is that the Foundry had more variety in furniture (bistro tables,etc.) but I realize it is a newer site. I also in hindsight would have considered a different caterer from the preferred list. However, all in all, I loved The Foundry and the experience I had planning it there.

This venue is really beautiful! It was also very expensive, but on the wedding day, everything looked stunning, and we received so many compliments on our choice of venue.
The staff who run the Foundry were great at responding to emailed questions. They got us in to see the venue very quickly after we asked for a tour, and at the tour they gave us a calendar with open dates. We were able to snag a Saturday for a discount, and we booked the very same evening, since we liked it so much!
You do have to buy wine through the venue, which actually ended up being okay, as I really liked the main vineyard they have, and I ended up being able to choose three wines I really liked (which was good, as I had two extra cases after the wedding!) I wasn't the biggest fan of the sparkling wine option they had, but my guests consumed all of what I purchased, so I may have been in the minority. You also do have to use one of their caterers, but since that greatly helped narrow down the field from every possibility to just a few that was helpful, and I loved our caterer (Premier Catering).
All in all, if the price fits in your budget, then it is a very wonderful (stunning) venue!

I thought that this venue was fabulous and lovely to work with. We also received loads of compliments from out of town guests about how beautiful the setting was! My only wish was that we didn't have to rent so much equipment separately, and that we weren't limited to just 6 caterers. Other than that, these guys were tops! In fact we loved working with Ashley so much, we were a little sad when our wedding as over that we wouldn't have an excuse to talk to her anymore.

When we first saw The Foundry, we fell in love! The views were so amazing! Once we found out they had our date available we booked it right away. Leading up to the wedding, whenever we had questions we received quick responses and the exact information we were looking for. Booking the rehearsal was a bit of an issue, we had booked a time but two day of managers booked the same time and WE were asked to accommodate and move to another time after invites had been sent. I will give them credit, they did gift us a free half hour on our wedding for the inconvenience. The day of the wedding went relatively smoothly, besides our wedding ceremony starting 10 minutes early. At a venue like the Foundry when people show up late, or in this case 5 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start, they have to wait for the bridal party to finish walking down before they can take their seats. Other than that issue, the rest of the day ran smoothly. We would recommend this beautiful venue to any couple.

I have a bit of a love-hate thing going with the Foundry. I love the Venue. Love the location. Heck, I remember eating here when it was The Ram not so long ago. We signed our contract just before the venue shifted management. I was initially told we'd have to buy wine through them. They told me who they are partnered with for wine and went out and tried their selection. We were so underwhelmed. I hated that we'd have to buy through them. Misinformation from our first event manager (common trend). We signed before it was stipulated we had to buy wine through them.
We had some SERIOUS communication problems in the beginning too. I'd send emails asking for simple bits of information and I'd wait. And wait. Then wait some more. I'd send two or three emails to the manager that was assigned to help me. This happened several times too. This wasn't going to work. I contacted the higher ups and basically said "I don't know what you want me to do when I can't get a response from the one person I am supposed to get help from." This actually happened twice. After the first time, they started being more prompt, but that tapered off. After the second time I emailed the big boss lady, they reassigned me to a different manager (made me feel like a jerk, but if that's the solution they came to, so be it). Enter: Brittany.
Brittany is where the love part of this review comes in. She redeemed everything that the previous manager had done. She was prompt, courteous and a total joy to work with. When I brought concerns to her, she did her research and helped me in every way possible. Day of, she was wonderful to work with. Her experience kept us all on schedule and everything was where it needed to be because of her. SERIOUS points to her.
The venue itself is nice. It winds through a public space and is on the river, so you have that. But we knew that going in. It's well equipped for our modest-sized guest list and had all the bells and whistles we needed to have a great wedding.

When we first booked this venue in March 2015, we loved the place, the venue, the options, and the person that was our contact. About half way into our engagement period, the venue changed hands. It was bought out, and our contact disappeared, which was relatively devastating when you’ve built such a rapport with someone for months on end. The new person (oddly, having the same name as the old person) was not as “warm and fuzzy” as the last. She took over our contract but seemed to miss a few details (such as us having a BYOB bar, instead of their new policy of being required to purchase wine). We also were told by the old team that if there were no events, we’d be able to spend the rehearsal hour setting up some decorations (which, when we arrived the day before, we were told we couldn’t, but eventually we reached a compromise to allow us to hang things on one wall). The day of the event, apparently our coordinator received barely any help or guidance from the venue contact, which of course makes things difficult on an already tight timeline. Overall, if we had known this is the service and support we’d receive when we were looking into venues, we would have picked another. I hope they settle into their role of managing this venue, because they will certainly begin losing business in Portland, since it’s such a competitive space with lots of great venues.

Tough to work with

Beautiful setting! Daughters wedding was held there June 1st. So thankful for the wonderful vendors that we hired for the day. Management for the foundry is very hard to work with. Very rude and condescending. When we booked the foundry you were able to use your own vendors and I am so grateful for all their help as you won't get it from the Foundry's staff.

Rather disappointed in the way we were treated at The Foundry. We were ignored for months after requesting to drop our reservation. We were not informed promptly when our Event/Account Manager was no longer part of the team and that created this feeling of abandonment. Communication is the major cause of this review. On top this, when we attempted to meet with some of their preferred vendors, we only received a call back from two. We feel like the past few months were supposed to be filled with love and support from all vendors, and unfortunately we did not have that feeling from The Foundry.
