    Beautiful venue

We chose the stables and it was absolutely beautiful! Everything turned out phenomenal and the staff was wonderful as well and very helpful too! They paired us up with the sweetest wedding coordinator who made sure my ceremony went off with a hitch regardless of the rain.

    Fantastic!

The staff at Forevermore Farms is amazing!! Any time I need a question answered it happens within that day! They helped guide my fiancé and I on vendors and helped us make those many phone calls to get quotes and start hiring. I never felt forced in to anything and felt my ideas were taken seriously. They are seriously fantastic to work with!!

    The Forevermore Farm's reply:

Thank you Lauren for your kind words! It's been a privilege working with you guys and we've enjoyed every minute of it. We are looking forward to your perfect day!

    Instantly fell in love

My older sister got married got married in the barn in August 2016. I instantly thought I didn’t want to get married there since she already did (even though I was eyeing their new venue the stables). I booked a tour anyway and couldn’t help but FALL IN LOVE with the stables! I walked in knowing that there was nowhere else I would have wanted to get married. They also had their own floral shop which helped to keep everything looking fresh and beautiful for the duration of our ceremony AND reception. My family considers the owner family. 10/10 recommend♥️♥️

It was more than wonderful to work with this team! From the get go Ren, Brittany, and the whole team was amazing! They were there every step of the way and so accommodating to anything I wanted. We had issues with the decorators and even though the barn had nothing to do with it, they still stepped up and helped me even more. I would be happy to work with this team for any event! The barn itself is the most beautiful barn I've ever seen. I was so glad to stumble upon this gem!!!!!

    Would recommend, but...

Prior to booking, the owner, Ren, was very accommodating to my smaller wedding plans and charged me a per hour rate to include (and I have in writing) 10 farm tables, 100 guest chairs, cake, gift, and sign-in tables, bridal suite and groom's quarters. I booked online but the invoice was for $50 more than I was quoted. I questioned it and never got an answer from the owner but I didn't argue it for all that I was getting. I scheduled two walkthroughs before the wedding and the above inclusion was also verbal from the owner at my first walkthrough. At the second walkthrough, I was met by Breanna who was so very nice. She was very helpful and said that she would be around the day of my wedding to help with any needs I may have. I let her know that we would need one tall cocktail table for the DJ equipment. Sarah, the Administrative Assistant, followed up with me in an email about my need and I just confirmed that I would need this one table. The week of the wedding came and they realized they didn't have me sign the contract for the wedding. I reviewed the contract and signed it. A smoking section was mentioned and I asked where it was located - Sarah responded in email that the smoking area was the gazebo. All was set for the wedding day.

On the wedding day, I arrived at 2:30. My allotted time was 3-8 but I had verbal permission from the owner to arrive at 2:30 to begin setting up. We were not greeted by or have any staff present to help with a need we may have had as Breanna had told me at my second walkthrough. At 2:51, I arrived at the bridal suite where I heard others upstairs. Understanding I had the facility at 3:00, I announced my arrival and the hairstylist upstairs said she was doing bridal hair for a bridal portrait and asked me to give them 30 minutes. I proceeded to take our stuff upstairs with their permission. There was no urgency on their part and I never gained access to the bridal makeup counter or area until after 3:30 and my wedding was at 4:00. My mom had to change in the bathroom as did others. We used the small rectangle table to the right of the stairs. Our photos were not clean because of all the clutter with limited space sharing with another bride. We rushed to get ready in 15 minutes ... to include dressing myself, my mom and a jr. bridesmaid (hair included.)

Unknowingly to me, my husband and his father entered the groom's quarters and found a huge mess in the facility. My husband had to spend time gathering all the trash in the room from the wedding the night before and pile it up against the wall before photos could be taken with his dad.

As mentioned above, the DJ needed one tall table that was requested more than a week prior to the wedding. I emailed Sarah at 3:14 the day of the wedding requesting this table. It showed up minutes before the wedding started and the DJ had already found something upstairs to accommodate the immediate need.

After the wedding, the family proceeded to the gazebo to have photos taken where we had to clean up cigars and beer cans sitting on the bench. At 6:30, a guy came to empty trash cans. I mentioned the gazebo to him because I didn't want to be charged for someone else's trash, and he informed me there was a large wedding the night before. This guy was not aware we had the venue till 8:00; however, we cleaned up our mess and were gone by 7:30.

On Monday, November 8, I emailed Sarah and Ren regarding the above concerns. To summarize Sarah's email response, it was all a miscommunication and I only had access to the barn, 10 tables and 100 chairs. She says the bridal suite, groom's quarters and gazebo were not included in the hourly rental - but I have the emails that prove differently from the owner. When I asked Sarah about the smoking section at the time of signing the bridal contract, she provided the gazebo location to me and said nothing of it not being available for my hourly rental.

In closing, I sent emails that supported my rental and what it included, a copy of the invoice that was $50 more than I was quoted and also the picture of the trash that had to be cleaned up by my husband. I asked Sarah and Ren for a refund of the extra $50 I paid without argument and have received no response back. I signed a full bridal contract that had nothing to do with my hourly rental.

Thanks to friends and family, I had a very beautiful wedding.

As I told Ren and Sarah I would do, I recommend this barn for a wedding but proceed with caution that whether verbal or written correspondence from them, the miscommunication is among them and they did not, in my situation, stand by their word in all areas.

***In response to Forevermore Farms response to my original post - the attached photo shows you were well aware of the hourly rental before telling me what it included. The DJ did not need any of your drop cords, mics and such - just a table. He supplied everything else. I didn't ask the venue staff to decorate my wedding nor set up, therefore declined your $2,995 package. No need for a response.

    The Forevermore Farm's reply:

This client did not book a wedding package at Forevermore Farm. She booked the barn for an hourly rental. When we discovered she was having a wedding and requesting services that go along with a wedding she was informed that we could not accommodate some of her request. Sherry was offered to upgrade to a wedding package and declined.
    In response to her complaints.
1- Did not book a wedding package.
2-Bridal Suite and Grooms quarters are not included in an hourly rental.
3- D.J's are required to furnish their own tables, chairs, D.J. equipment, drop cords, microphones etc.
4- Venue staff is not responsible for setting up a wedding for an hourly rental rate.
5- Clients hourly rental included 10 farm tables, 100 chairs, cake, gift, and sign table for 5 hours. I allowed her to come in 30 min early at no charge to decorate.
6- We do not have "bridal contract's" we have venue contracts that covers all events that take place at Forevermore Farm.

    Money hungry and disappointed

When my husband and I first booked this venue we were over the moon with it! They told us they had an ice machine on site for our bartender and our caterers, they sold us on being able to use (for extra money, of course) a cabin for our wedding party the night of (this made me not worry about my party drinking and finding a way home). When I first booked the venue I paid $350 for a “booking and cleaning fee”. This was fine. The venue itself, $4,600 and I paid $500 extra for “reception management” which was supposed to include members of the venue cleaning up and keeping my guests happy. Needless to say, there was no ice machine, the cabin was “not available”, and the “reception management” shut my wedding down 2 hours early! To put the icing on the cake, while I was on my honeymoon, out of the country, my bank (thankfully) shut my card down because forevermore farm was taking $350 more out of my account (without my permission)! I could not be more upset with the way this staff has treated us. (With the exception of Jessica, she was precious)

    The Forevermore Farm's reply:

Katelyn, we are very sorry you feel disappointed. Your Venue cost was actually only $3950 with extra services added on. I will be happy to have you in the office to discuss the problems that occurred on your wedding day and the reasons your groom and his groomsmen forced your reception to end early and the damage they did to the property for you to be charged the damage fee. If you would like to come into the office to properly discuss this further, I'd be happy to meet with you and your husband!

    Do not recommend!!!

I had my wedding at the forevermore farm stables on April 15, 2023. Other than the beautiful venue itself, we had just about everything not go our way with this business. Overall, none of the staff at the venue communicated about our wedding day details. We met multiple times with Sarah, but up until the day of the wedding there were always question marks with everything. I ended up being extremely stressed and bothered on MY day.

    1. There was no AC in the bridal suite while me and the girls were getting ready. which the maintence guy said “has been giving them issues”. Shouldn’t this be fixed for your customers, especially the bride? It got so hot that he recommended we MOVE to the barn bridal suite (the other venue in the property). So my bridesmaids and I loaded everything up to go DRIVE to the other suite so that we didn’t completely melt our make up. None of the staff were concerned with this. Total inconvenience as I had to drive back to the original venue in my own car IN my wedding dress to get to the wedding…yikes.

    2. We rented the honeymoon cabin for the night of the wedding. We spoke with Sarah about it being clean by the time we got there after the wedding. My bridesmaids and I stayed at the cabin Friday night so it needed to be cleaned for my husband and I…..She told us no problem and that it would be taken care of AND made “honeymoon like”…..at 11 pm the night of the wedding my husband and I arrive to the cabin. It was NOT cleaned whatsoever and definitely not “honeymoon like”. No clean sheets, no toilet paper, no clean towels, nothing romantic. I had to wash my own towels on my wedding night so we could shower. Miserable for a newly married couple. We did receive a refund for these nights, but on May 30th. We had to contact the farm multiple times and were spoken to very rudely by the owner, Ren. It was clearly an inconvenience for her. We were not impressed.

3.I do not recommend paying for a wedding director with forevermore. You are better off getting your own. The one we paid for did nothing but stress me out the day of my wedding. She let things get off schedule, constantly worried me with questions and concerns, let the DJ control everything, and was still confused about certain things we had gone over multiple times in wedding meetings. Not structured or organized at all. I was constantly bothered with issues that arose.

4.We also spoke with Sarah about using the farms “exit truck”. It is an old pick up truck that we were told we could use to do a fake exit and that we could drive the truck. Turns out, Dylan (maintence guy) drove us during the exit? No one told us this? The night of, my mom and dad had to find Dylan (maintence guy) to get him to start the truck instead of him being ready for the exit. Dylan was no where to be found. It was insanely disorganized and took so long to begin that my photographer left. I never got photos of the exit.

5.There were also multiple decor items placed in wrong places. Prior to the wedding, we spoke with Sarah and Katelyn about where I wanted certain things. On the wedding day, I noticed the barrels I wanted in front of the barn were moved to an inside location?

6.We paid for the alcohol package with forevermore farms. On the wedding day, one of the beers we chose was not at the venue along with the other beers. I texted Sarah (on my day) because I noticed it was missing. She said Dylan would get it from the store and not to worry. Come to find out, it wasn’t even the right beer. I made a sign that advertised it as a light beer and ended up the beer was the regular version, not the light.

All in all, although my wedding was a dream and was truly about my husband and I getting married, it is disappointing that this venue let us down in all other areas. I would not recommend them unless you want lots of problems to arise. There is no communication between staff here. Nobody knows what’s going on with your wedding. Heather (florals) was the most helpful for us with everything.

It’s unfortunate this happened…so think carefully before you book with them

    The Forevermore Farm's reply:

    Dear Breanne;
We definitely could tell you were stressed and anxious on your wedding day, which is not uncommon for a new bride. I would as the owner of Forevermore Farm, like to address some of your complaints. Regarding complaint #1 you are correct, Sarah did meet with you several times 6/30/22, 7/27/22, 11/15/22, and 3/31/23. We normally don't meet with clients that don't pay for wedding planning services. In looking at your invoice you booked a "My Perfect Day Package" which is a Venue rental only. It does not include any type of wedding planning. I did see you hired one of our wedding directors and our reception manager to work the day of your wedding.
Complaint #2- You did rent our honeymoon cabin from 4/14/23-4/16/23. The cabin was fully stocked. You hosted between 6-8 guest on the first night for a cabin that has 2 bedrooms. The next night "honeymoon night" your complaint that is was not "honeymoon like" I'm not sure what that means to you. In looking at your invoice I do not see where you paid the $75.00 cleaning and turn around fee for your second night. There is no of documentation in your file to Indicate you wanted additional cleaning. I can certainly understand after the amount of people being there the first night, that you would want it cleaned. This is why you received a full refund of $594.00. I believe your father picked up the check from our office.
Complaint #3 Bridal Suite air conditioning. It is unfortunate, that the air conditioning failed. We did call a repair company, but it is difficult to get someone out on a weekend. I know that you did have air conditioning in your private dressing area. I do understand, with the amount of bridesmaids, and the door being open it did get stuffy. We did offer you a different bridal suite, which you did utilize and we were left to clean up after you, again at no charge.
Complaint #4 D. J. Services. The D.J. you hired kept causing confusion with the wedding director and reception manager. Apparently the D.J had their own time line and was not going by the timeline you had developed with the wedding director. This is why the wedding director kept having to get clarification from you.
Complaint #4 1947 Dodge Truck. This truck is a family heirloom and holds great sentimental value and should have never been promised to you. It is not used for "exit get aways" No one drives the truck except for my husband. If I had known, it had been promised to you, I personally could have helped you make other arrangements. Dylan no is longer is employed by Forevermore Farm.
Complaint # 5 I'm sorry Dylan missed a beer you wanted..the good news all of your guest drank all the alcohol you purchased, no one seemed disappointed and we received no complaints from your guest.
As an owner of 2 wedding venues who hosts over 100 weddings a year and who is the recipient of the "Knot best of weddings for 2022 and 2023, We pride ourselves on our hard earned accomplishments. I am aware that we can not please everyone but I have to say my staff did the best they could in trying to please you and make your day special. With that said, All of us here a Forevermore Farm wish you and your husband Tristan the very best life has to offer.
