I met with four different florists before choosing The Flower Mercantile and she stood out immediately. She was by far the friendliest, most responsive, and easiest to work with. From the start, she made my mom and me feel like we were longtime friends.
She made the entire process of selecting florals and bringing my wedding vision to life so enjoyable and stress free. She was always willing to provide different floral options and was incredibly flexible with the changes I requested. On the day of, I received countless compliments on the flowers. It really elevated my entire wedding.
I highly recommend working with Debbie. She exceeded my expectations in every way. -

Debbie was so accommodating and reasonably priced when we added flowers at the last minute. She did an amazing job matching the brides colors for a winter wedding at a great price! I can't say enough positive things. Would definitely hire her again in a New York minute! -

Debbie was phenomenal to work with! From our very first phone meeting I could tell she had such a creative mind and could see my vision. She made suggestions along the way offering her expertise and professional opinions without ever being pushy. So many things had gone wrong leading up to our wedding day and when she walked in with the flowers I instantly teared up (happy tears!). I remember looking at her and saying, "With everything that has gone wrong in the last few weeks, something finally went right!" She knocked it out of the park and literally brought my vision to life.
My color palette was navy blue, dusty blue and tans/ivory shades. Not an easy palette to work with as flowers go. We worked together and came up with the idea to mix fresh, silk and dried variations to achieve the results I was looking for. In the end Debbie selected all of the flowers and I wouldn't change a thing! They were absolutely perfect! If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!
I can't recommend her enough! -

Such a blessing
Hire this lovely woman! I had an emergency right before my wedding date and suddenly needed a new florist last minute and she willingly stepped in and saved the day! She took my description words and inspiration photos and turned them into exactly what I had dreamed of and even went out of her way to include my favorite flowers. They were absolutely gorgeous and she was so sweet! You will not be disappointed if you have her do your flowers! -

I am beyond happy to recommend Debbie, the Flower Mercantile, for your wedding floral needs. Her prices are crazy competitive, couldn’t have been happier with what we were charged, but Debbie herself really makes this worth your while. Let me tell you, of all of our vendors (all great), we truly felt like Debbie was the one who really listened closely to what we wanted the most. We don’t know much about flowers, but from the beginning, her expert advice, ideas, and examples made it so much easier for us. She asked us fantastic guiding questions and never put her own suggestions in unless we asked for them. She always repeated back what I said I wanted to make sure she was on the same page with me. I even gave her an exact example of how we wanted our arch done, and with the correct flowers being in season at the time, she was able to replicate it perfectly. She is such a kind person, very professional, knowledgeable, and makes herself very available for you. I cannot recommend her enough. She was absolutely FANTASTIC. -

Debbie really came through for our big day. The Flower Mercantile was the last Vendor to join our team just a few months before our big day. Debbie could not have been more accommodating. Because we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19 we lost our florist. Debbie met with my hubby and I virtually, gathered information on what we wanted and had a detailed proposal drawn up for us in a matter of days. Debbie stayed in our budget and delivered beautiful flowers for my wedding day. I recommend her services to anyone who asks for a good florist. She was great to work with. -

Wonderful Experience Especially During Covid
Debbie did such a great job with our wedding and was so flexible and helpful during the Covid lockdowns. Debbie is out of Toledo, OH and drove 2.5 hours to bring us our wedding flowers and each of the flowers looks so marvelous! Deb is very responsive, flexible, respectful, and creative. Her creations for my wedding were absolutely beautiful. My big wedding was postponed due to COVID and she was able to help me with a smaller wedding with only a 2 weeks notice. She was able to take my ideas and make it even better than I could have ever imagined and she is very respectful of budgets. I recommend her work every chance I get. -

Working with the Flower Mercantile for our wedding florals was the best decision we made throughout the entire planning process! Debbie's work surpassed my dreams and expectations. Debbie is very collaborative and flexible (which was so valuable as we were planning a summer wedding last year) and truly wanted our input throughout the design process. I loved that she worked within our budget- instead of telling us the cost of what we wanted, she worked with us to make sure we could get what we had dreamed up together for a price we could afford. Debbie also did a flower crown workshop for my Bachelorette party, and it was so fun!! Again- I can't recommend her services enough!The Flower Mercantile's reply:

The centerpieces were gorgeous, boutonnières were exactly what I’d hoped, bouquets were fantastic, and she went above and beyond for our ceremony decorations. Debbie was so awesome and easy to work with! I explained what I wanted for my wedding and she brought my vision to life. I loved every detail she put into making our flowers feel magical. My Dream Wedding Flowers
The Flower Mercantile was amazing to work with! I didn't have much direction or vision for my flowers but as we talked Debbie helped me realized what I really wanted for my wedding. I felt very confident in her ability to create something unique and special. I didn't have to worry about anything.
When I saw our flowers on our wedding day I was blown away! It was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and it brought me so much joy. I would HIGHLY recommend The Flower Mercantile to any bride getting married. You will not be disappointed!The Flower Mercantile's reply:

Outstanding
Working with Debbie was a joy! She was thoughtful, creative, and professional throughout the entire process. During our meetings, Debbie asked specific questions and quickly caught hold of my vision. She was detailed and payed attention to the shape, color tones, specific flowers, and styles I liked.
Debbie was easy to communicate with, and always responded in a timely manner. She has been highly trained and demonstrated a vast knowledge of a variety of different flowers. She was flexible when COVID-19 required last minute wedding adjustments. Debbie was willing to work within our budget and provide quality flowers for an affordable price. Debbie was fun to work with and made the entire process smooth!
We are so grateful for the role Debbie played in our wedding day. The bouquets, boutonnieres, center pieces, and archway all exceeded expectations—and were highly complimented throughout the wedding.

Best part of my wedding
Debbie does the most amazing floral arrangements and I could not have asked for a more perfect flower vendor. She sticks to your style and offers great ideas and sticks to your budget which is huge. Debbie with Flower mercantile was very responsive. She was very nice and easy to communicate with. She created two large floral pieces for the ceremony that would be moved in front of our sweet heart table, which was just the vision I had for those pieces. They were beautiful. She also did a flower crown for my flower girl, but I was very disappointed in that piece. There were almost no flowers on the flower crown and it looked like a leaf crown, not what I was hoping for or what we had discussed. I also trusted her to create my dream wedding bouquet. I had sent pictures of what I was looking for and specifics such that I did not want any pink or blush colors in my bouquet, but only white. The bouquet I received had blush and pink tones in the bouquet and the flowers were already wilting before the ceremony even started. I was really disappointed in my bouquet. The guys pocket boutonnieres were close to what we were wanting but they were put on flimsy cardboard that didn't fit their pocket sizes so they kept falling out. They should've been measured to fit their pocket of their tux. If I could do over, I would probably just have hired her for the larger floral pieces that she executed beautifully, but the flower crown, my bridal bouquet and the table arrangements I should've just done myself.The Flower Mercantile's reply:
