One of my tasks in helping our daughter with her wedding plans was to find a florist (from across the country) Consulting my list, The Flower Lady was the first call I made.......and the last! Speaking with Kim and hearing her views on the venue and what was needed, I felt that I had found a creative professional who enjoyed her work. The wedding was small and held outdoors at a flower garden filled winery.. From that first call to the face to face meeting, wedding week follow up and wedding, Kim made us feel like it was the only event she had that week. The flowers were stunning...exactly what the Bride and Groom wanted...and the cost was reasonable. Kim was so easy and great to work with, I gave her examples of what I liked and told her what my budget was and she was able to put it all together. I didn't have an exact thought in mind of what I wanted, so I have her my colors and showed her examples and what she came up with was more than I could have ever imagined, especially for my budget. I have used her multiple time since our wedding and am more than pleased each time.Kim was so easy and great to work with, I gave her examples of what I liked and told her what my budget was and she was able to put it all together. I had a destination wedding near Paso Robles, so as expected booking vendors that require an in person consultation can be difficult. I really wanted to make it into the shop earlier than I actually did but Kim was beyond helpful via email and turn my lack of flower names in emails into beautiful bouquets and made suggestions for flowers while always reassuring me they would be beautiful (as they were).
Kim also allowed for us to order our dinner table flowers in bulk so I could achieve a loose flower look in the vases. She was the only vendor I found that was more than willing to work with me and my budget. She was extremely low maintenance, and when while planning a wedding and juggling all the vendors that is much appreciated. She is competent, reliable, and extremely professional. When I finally did make it in the shop to finalize the order I was feeling a little wedding stress but she reassured me that when it came to the flowers we had nothing to worry about and she was right. She delivered the flowers to two separate locations and was on time (another important wedding day factor). I could not be more happy with how the flowers came out and I highly recommend using The Flower Lady!

Leslie is a complete dream to work with! I just can't say it enough. She is truly phenomenal not only at what she does but just as who she is as a person. We got married at the Santa Margarita Ranch in mid September and needless to say, it was HOT! We went for a very rustic/anthropology look and utilized several "heat sensitive" flowers. Leslie went above and beyond to make sure our vision was attained, preserving flowers and setting up details in the blazing heat up to wire, all to ensure things looked great for our big moment. She is truly delightful and unbelievably talented. We would HIGHLY recommend her for any event needing a little extra beauty. We hired Leslie, the Flower Lady, to handle our wedding flowers. We were on a tight budget but we managed to make the most beautiful arrangements and bouquets. Everyone commented on my bouquet of peonies, which was spectacular. All of our flowers went way above what we had ever imagined we could get.
Leslie was very patient and helpful. She gave her expert opinions about what would be the most cost-effective and safe flowers in terms of the weather. She even met with us several times to go over the plans.
I would highly recommend this vendor and am so glad we went with this choice!We hired Leslie, the Flower Lady, to handle our wedding flowers. I loved working with The Flower Lady. We were on a bit of a budget when we got to flowers since we had decided to spend more money elsewhere and our reception was in a garden (thus, we didn't need a whole lot more). Nonetheless, they helped us create some simple yet elegant arrangements that were very effective. They were even very understanding even when I changed my mind a couple of times about what I wanted.
My bouquet was also very beautiful and I'm so glad they had some good suggestions for me. I thought I really wanted white with red roses but they convinced me to leave out the red since it would make the bouquet look like it had polka dots. I'm so glad they provided that feedback and I'm so glad I listened! I have since seen it done how I thought I wanted it and I am so glad I went with their suggestion instead.I loved working with The Flower Lady. Kim at the Flower Lady was slow to get in touch with me and my responses in the beginning because it was a busy time of year, but when she did, she was clear in her answers and acknowledged my questions thoroughly. There was miscommunication on my end in regards to the flower colors and when they showed up wrong on the wedding day, Kim went above and beyond to correct the situation quickly and in time.
The quality of the flowers for the amount we paid was well worth it. Flowers were not a huge priority for me when planning my wedding, but I wanted pretty bouquets for myself and my 7 bridesmaids. I worked with Leslie who was great. I didn't have a very clear idea of what I wanted, but sent her some pictures from Pinterest of bouquets I liked, and told her what colors I wanted (loose structure, lots of bright pinks, oranges, and yellow, with peonies and eucalyptus). Then, I didn't really think about it again. My main concern was my budget which was admittedly (very) limited ($300 for all bouquets). They totally nailed it!! My bouquet was stunning - exactly what I had unknowingly envisioned, and my bridesmaids bouquets were gorgeous as well. The best part was that Leslie was 100% willing to work in my limited budget and I was able to have beautiful bouquets for a fraction of the price others quoted me. My wedding was Mother's Day weekend - probably one of their busiest if not THE busiest weekend of the year for them, and when my sisters returned from picking up the bouquets the morning of my wedding, we were two bridesmaids bouquets short. I immediately called, and the staff had already found the missing two bouquets hidden behind something and were extremely apologetic and accommodating (I totally didn't mind, seeing as how it was SUCH a busy weekend for them!). After looking around at other specifically wedding florists in the area, I am SO happy I went with The Flower Lady for my bridal and bridesmaids bouquets for both price and the result!
