Donna is the best!
I first met Donna last August of 2021 after reaching out to a few florists in town. After our initial call I knew she was the florist I wanted to work with - she was just so courteous, easy to get in touch with, and creative. She asked questions that I didn’t think of and helped me cover all bases needed! I had many change requests and Donna was so easy going and flexible. I had heard of and seen her work so I knew that the flowers were going to be beautiful but… I wasn’t prepared for just how gorgeous they truly were. So elegant, soft, tasteful and full of gorgeous texture; I was so extremely happy when the bouquets were brought up to our suite. The reception was covered in sprays of beautiful red, ivory, burgundy roses… many guests told me they were the most beautiful arrangements they had ever seen. I’ve never seen more beautiful flowers and it made my wedding day SO special. If you are looking for a wonderful florist who truly cares about her clients, please reach out to the Flower Lady. Amazing Experience!
Planning a wedding during a pandemic was a bit daunting at first but luckily I had Donna on my team to make it all better. We did not meet in person until the day of my wedding but you would’ve never guessed it by looking at her work and how well she executed my vision. I’m so glad that I trusted The Flower Lady and her expertise to help make my wedding dreams a reality. From the bouquets, to the centerpieces, to the sweetheart table, and so much more; I can’t thank her enough. Everything was so well executed and came out better than I could have imagined. My mom was really shocked to find out that all of this came to life via phone, text and Pinterest! Still waiting on all of my pictures to come out but here’s a look at our bouquets!

I gave Donna my floral inspiration photos and she made them all come to life! I remember walking into the ballroom as they were putting the final details on, and I just cried tears of happiness. Donna was absolutely wonderful to work with. We loved that we could throw an idea at her and she would dive right in! She incorporated elements from my dress, my mother's dress, and my grandmother's dress into my bouquet, did several arrangements on site, and even arranged some Sola Wood Flowers we had dyed ourselves around our cake display. HUGE thank you to Miss Donna and everything she did for our wedding! She is such a sweet lady and was a pleasure to work with! At the start of this process, I had no idea on flower specifics, I just knew the color combinations I was looking for -- After an in-person meeting and sending her a handful of inspiration pictures for centerpieces, bouquets and aisle decor, Miss Donna completely got what I was asking for, she ran with it and the outcome was even better than I could have hoped! From the moment Donna responded to my message, I knew this would be a good decision. She asked for my inspiration pictures, was prompt and kind in all communication, and delivered a beautiful product with great service. She even sent a note a week before our wedding saying she was going out of town, so not to be alarmed by an away email. (She provided a cell number if any contact was needed.) While out of town, she brought back some lily of the valley flowers to add to my bouquet. (Yes, like Duchess Meghan had.) My parents thoroughly enjoyed meeting her when they went to pick-up our order. She included a "floral first aid kit" with an extra boutonnière, toss bouquet, and cake flowers. Wonderful and highly recommended!!!!

I cannot rave about Donna enough! She was simply amazing. Not only does she have a wonderful personality, but her work is extraordinary! My husband and I were and still are in love with our wedding flowers. Donna completely worked around our busy schedules and let us come to her home to meet with her, we instantly knew that we loved her before even really looking at any of her work. She took all of our ideas and brought them to life. Aside from my cascading bouquet, I was absolutely in love with the lanterns that she filled with flowers to decorate our ceremony aisle. She was there the day of the wedding to set everything up and waited so she could talk with us and make sure that we loved everything. You will not be disappointed going with Donna for any of your floral needs!

Donna was so amazing. I can not rave about her enough. I know nothing about flowers so I wasn't able to answer her questions about specific flowers or arrangement types that normally would allow her to make sure she designed flowers that would be exactly what a bride would want. All I was able to tell her was my wedding color was blue and I didn't want round arrangements or bouquets. I also said I wanted simple but elegant. I was not much help. What she came up with was stunning and everything I could have dreamed of for my flowers. She showed up on time the day of the wedding with vases to hold the bouquets when they were not in use. She helped all the men get their flowers attached to their lapels. I went away for pictures and came back to a fully decorated. I hadn't asked for flowers to be added to the cake but she noticed that the base needed just a little extra color and added flowers around the bottom to enhance the cake design (she did ask my mom if it was OK before doing so since I wasn't around). She had a perfect eye for what was needed. For my flower girl she had a beautiful white basket with blue ribbon on the handles and filled with petals to be tossed. There was not a detail that was not covered. At the end of then night all of the extra flowers that guest left were brought home. I put all the center pieces around my living room and kitchen and continued to enjoy them. They lasted close to 10 days without me adding water to the vases. Another wedding guest later told me she took better care and continued to water the flowers and they lasted even longer. Price is always an issue when planning and things always seem to cost more in the end. The one place that didn't happen was with my flowers. Donna quoted a price and that is what it was. She put together an detailed line item invoice that was clear to see and understand. On top of all of that her prices were so reasonable. You can not go wrong by using Donna. I would use her again

Simply stated, Donna is amazing!
Just imagine the relief a bride feels when speaking to a florist that not only shares your vision but brings it to life! I wanted a romantic, spring, chic wedding, and that's exactly what Donna created. I thought I'd be such a difficult bride by requesting a floral backdrop, but Donna leaped at the opportunity with enthusiasm and excitement- what a beautiful piece it was! We got married 10.20.17 and used "The Flower Lady" as our vendor. I wanted to use a non-big named vendor so my ideas and questions would be more intimate and Donna exceeded my expectations. During my shopping for centerpieces, Donna helped me along the way having me think about certain items for my vases like whether they would hold water or fit my bouquets. I sent her vision pics and pics of details I found along the way and she even offered to buy them for me if she found anything that fit my ideas. She steered me in the right direction the whole way and was in wonderful contact with me through email, phone and texts. My colors were yellow and grey which is hard to find in flowers but the day of my wedding she exceeded my expectations. She stayed for the set up and made sure everything was great.

Donna was amazing! She was able to take my inspiration photos and turn them into reality. My wedding was June 2016 and despite of the summer heat, all my flowers held strong. I had calla lilies, hydrangeas, and white roses. My bouquet and altar arrangements were perfect! They exceeded my expectations. We were able to repurpose some of the arrangements from the ceremony into the reception and the look was totally different. We added candles and flowers for the reception and it was clean and elegant. The center pieces were tall and made it an impression on the venue. Outstanding! The flowers last over a week after the weeding, the white roses were the most beautiful roses I have ever seen! Donna was very professional, on time, and communicated well. I gave Donna floral freedom for my wedding because I don't know much about flowers. I only wanted my bouquet and 2 single white roses for a dedication for my Husbands parents who have passed. I told her the colors I wanted and the flowers that I like and she ran with it. I was so happy when I received my bouquet the day before my wedding. Donna was so sweet and we chatted for a long time at her house. She is so friendly and amazing, my mother loved her as well. I ordered calla lily bouquets and centerpieces for my Orlando November wedding. The service was tremendous. Donna was helpful and accommodating. She answered all emails in a timely fashion. She has a nice home office that was professional and very nice for displays. I felt the pricing was a bit high, but explained well and worth the cost. Up until the week of, she was willing to add, subtract and change things in the order until I had exactly what I wanted. I recommend her to anyone. The bridal bouquet was gorgeous and well constructed, the centerpieces lively and lovely and the groom and parent flowers simple and elegant. An all around great experience.

When I started thinking about the floral for our wedding, I instantly got overwhelmed! I’ve never been a big floral lover and I knew I wanted something simple and sweet. The Flower Lady was a dream to work with! She took my vision of sweet and simple and totally ran with it! She is such a kind person, and from the moment I met her I thought she was awesome!!! She has the best value for flowers in the area, and her skill is just as high as any of the overpriced, inflated florist shops!
My bride's bouquet had fiddlehead ferns, dusty miller, and a succulent! It was absolutely gorgeous and I've never seen anything like it! She said she had a blast making it, and I didn't let go of it the entire night! I wanted it to last forever.
About 4 months before my wedding, I changed the date to be a week earlier, and she had absolutely no problem with this. She was flexible and made the experience a great one! During our initial consultation, we talked for an hour about wedding and non-wedding related things! I'm not a social person, but I felt immediately comfortable and at home with her!
I picked up my flowers the day before the wedding to save money, and I was blown away by what she had done! I was expecting them to be beautiful, but they far exceeded my expectations! She even made me a throw-away bouquet for the bouquet toss and she made my (now) husband two boutonnieres since they were made with succulents and she was worried that it would degrade as he hugged and greeted people.
I would recommend her services to ANYONE in a heartbeat!

Words cannot express how incredibly beautiful all the flowers were in our wedding. From our first meeting, we knew Donna was the one! To start with, she designed my bridal bouquet along with 6 bridesmaids bouquets. She was able to incorporate all different types of flowers with the colors I requested, and the end result was breathtaking. Next, Donna designed 12 magnificent centerpieces, and also creatively (and beautifully) incorporated our summer theme by adding lemons and limes to the vases, to match the amazing floral arrangements. Donna was also able to make floral arrangements for the ceremony which were absolutely breathtaking. The pictures came out gorgeous and I give most of the credit to Donna. She really brought our wedding to life with her gorgeous floral creations. Thank you Donna!

I am the Mother of the Bride and was helping my daughter find a florist. I read the reviews on Wedding Wire and arranged to meet with Donna. She was helpful, personable and really took an interest in my daughter's ideas. I met with other vendors, but was not met with the same professionalism as Donna demonstrated. I have to say that I was bowled over with Donna's incredible flower arrangements and bouquets. My guests are still raving over the flowers and how beautiful they looked in the room. Believe me, save yourself some time and money and choose Donna as your florist. Donna did an amazing job and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I thought that I could never afford the vision I had in my head for my wedding flowers. And then I met Donna, the Flower Lady. As soon as we shook hands, I knew it was going to be a great experience. I sent her a million different photos with a million different ideas and we met and talked about our options. To my surprise, she told me she could totally work with my budget. Not only did she "get" my vision, but Donna totally blew me away with what she created. My centerpieces were just gorgeous. All of my guests were in awe of how beautiful the room looked. Our bouquets were beyond gorgeous. She even placed my starfish pin (that I decided on 3 days before) perfectly in my bouquet. The bouts and corsages were just perfect too. I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Donna. And on top of all the beautiful work she did, she's one of the sweetest, most kind-hearted people I've ever met!

My husband contacted Donna Maddox, owner of The Flower Lady, after I had begun to stress about finding a florist within our budget. Once we met with Donna, I walked out of her office knowing that we had found our florist! She was extremely reasonable with her pricing, in fact, she was about half the cost from some of the other vendors I had previously interviewed.
I didn't have any real particular demands on flowers or designs, just gave her general colors and then let her imagination run wild. I wasn't disappointed in the least on the day of. My bridesmaid bouquets were gorgeous and all of the guys bouts were great too. We did have a small issue with one of the main flowers on one of the bouts falling apart, but honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal to me.
Donna is extremely flexible and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her for any of your flower needs! :)

Don't look any further, have Donna take care of all your flower needs. Coming from Canada, I only met Donna about 2 weeks before the wedding (if that), but it didn't matter, she was able to accomplish exactly what I wanted via pictures and phone conversations. Donna was very flexible and willing to work with my husband (fiance at the time:0) and I's crazy schedules!! I wasnt sure exactly what I wanted so Donna showed me many photos and ideas that resembled what I was dreaming and the she made it a beautiful reality!! I loved that I didnt have to know exactly what I wanted and she was able to use her gifts and talents to fill in my gaps and make our wedding more beautiful than I could have imagined!!

I told her what colors I wanted and my style, "simple yet elegant", and she made it happen above and beyond my expectations!! From the decor, boqeut's, to the cake, Donna set the most beautiful ambiance! I never imagined it would turn out so beautiful on such a tight budget and short notice! I would use "The Flower Lady" a thousand times over! Thank you, Thank you , Thank you!!!

Donna did a wonderful job with the flowers for my wedding. She helped me make good choices that fit the style of my wedding, and my budget! She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect and I didn't have to stress out about it. She even surprised me by decorating my cake (that would have otherwise been very plain) with beautiful white roses! It was simple and classy, just like I wanted :)

How about a Mardi Gras Themed Reception? What would you do with that?..... First Wedding in a city Park on the water - beautifully decorated arbor - Bride wants Red Roses & must have Bells of Ireland (cause she's Irish of course!) The Column pieces "OUTSTANDING"!. But what!? Fresh Gardenia's in the brides bouquet!? Not a problem we'll use the ones from the bushes in her yard (spray them with hairspray and they won't turn brown- who knew?) YOU.... OMG we have to decorate an athletic hall to look like Mardi Gras for 100+ guests!! Beautiful topiairies at each table with yellow & red roses, gold, red & purple accents in lavender clay-pot with purple ribbons.... purple candles, green table cloths with gold accents. Masks - Beads, Jambalaya & Zydeco! This must have been by far your biggest challenge and you made it look so beautiful - so easy. I remember it all as if it was yesterday, I have tears (of joy) while writing this. Who else could have pulled this off? Only you Donna!! You ROCK! Forever Grateful. Can I come back and post pictures later!?

My wedding was long ago and my flowers were awesome. Just what I wanted and she even planned it from 180 miles away.I have since seen many more wedding's and other occasions she has done and I'm impressed. She can come up with ideas that amaze me and I love how she can go out in the yard and gather greenery for arranging. I thought she was a good designer for a wedding until I saw the first funeral pieces she did.It had better been good as it my mother's funeral. My moms's name is Ann and leave it to Donna to come up with Anna roses for her pieces. The Rosary is one of my favorites and can be for more than one occasion. I am blessed to have such a great talented and loving friend neighbor and sister as a florist. She loves the Lord too and Ally.

My flowers were absolutely gorgeous!!! They were exactly what I wanted, and I had some odd requests. Donna was able to fulfull an old custom for me where each flower of the bride's bouquet spelled the groom's name. Though she had trouble finding exotic-looking flowers that worked, she searched and searched, and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful bouquet. She also did small bouquets for the mothers, instead of wrist corsages, which I loved. She was so great to work with; cheerful, professional, and punctual!! Plus my flowers came in under budget!! She was the sweetest "vendor" I dealt with while planning my wedding. Definately go with the Flower Lady. You won't be sorry!

I loved my wedding flowers so much that while on our honeymoon in St. Lucia I actually called Donna to tell her again how beautiful everything was. I had stargazer lilies and hot pink roses for my theme. Our venue was at The Peabody Hotel in Orlando, Fl.
Her prices and talent go beyond everyday expectations.
Donna, I just want you to know. I picked you for my Wedding Florist because of your ease and how you made everything go so smoothly with my flower decor.
I remember you showing up on sight with extra flowers "just in case" I forgot a corsage or boutonierre.

Flowers arrangements from an angel
Donna is literally an angel from the heavens above who makes the most beautiful floral arrangements. She literally brought to life the floral arrangements that I have been dreaming of ever since I was a little girl. There is not enough I could say about what she pulled off for my day. You have my word, you will not find a more beautiful artist like Donna. I loveeeeeeee her to the moon and back 😍

I never even met her and my flowers came out amazing! The only thing that was a little iffy was that the boutineers were falling apart and had to all be re-pinned by my husband. He forgot to do his own and in the pictures they are kind of falling and by the cake cutting one of the roses is completely upside down!
Other than that everything was perfect. My bouquet was amazing and well made, so were the girls. The centerpieces were amazing and so were the little decorations she did! I was so happy with all of them!

I have never met Donna - we communicated via email and phone. I felt comfortable with her through our communications and she was generally quick to respond to me. I would have liked to have more suggestions from her, though I think she tried to do what I wanted. Donna came through as we had discussed.
The flowers were lovely though I did not receive a throw away bouquet. I ended up throwing one of the bridesmaids bouquet.

Donna created our bouquets and centerpieces for our wedding beautifully! She was very easy to reach and always responded quickly. Not only do I live in Canada but I also changed my mind a few times. She was great and I would highly recommend her!

Donna was very nice to work with. I showed her a photo and she provided me with real life amazement. She worked with the flowers as delicately as if they were babies, I respect her passion for what she loves most, beautiful flowers.

I was a difficult bride when it came to flowers because I had NO idea what I wanted. I had an "image" in my mind of what I wanted everything to look like, but I had no idea what types of flowers were what so it was difficult to explain what I wanted to a florist. Luckily, I just gave Donna a couple key theme words, a basic idea of colors, and a few other specifications and totally trusted her to figure it out! The bouquets turned out perfect and wonderfully matched the Southern theme I had explained to her!

First I would like to say that my flowers were BEAUTIFUL!
Being a long distant bride I was thrilled when I found her online and saw pictures of her work and when I got a quote from her I was equally thrilled with how affordable she was! Once I talked to her on the phone I promptly paid in full for her services (a couple months before the wedding) and was happy to have that part of the wedding taken care of. I did notice that it seems hard to communicate with her through email. Her responses being very short and would have me wondering what she meant. The first couple phone calls went smooth and it did put me at ease though.
I emailed and then called her and left a message a few weeks before the wedding to touch base since we had not been in contact and I was really put off when she called me back and had no idea who I was! She then put me on hold and found the invoice and it did seem like she started to remember what we had discussed. She seemed overwhelmed and flustered. She did apologize which was nice but it did have me nervous.
I did have an issue when it came to the pomander balls I ordered. We discussed on the phone and through email that I would like them to have color(mainly red) and she asked me a couple different times if white was okay. Our last email I repeated saying that I would like them colored but if she wanted to incorporate some white that would be fine with me and she agreed. On the wedding day I was surprised that they were all white mums with some little flower that had a very small light pink bloom hanging from the ball...granted they were pretty but not what I wanted and what she had agreed to.
My husband was also the one that met her to pick up some of the delivered flowers and she called him earlier on our wedding day and was a bit rude on the phone when setting up the time to meet(he said she seemed scattered).
Again the flowers were beautiful and a great price. I still had a great day although she had me worried for a bit!

After exchanging countless emails and examples of pictures, I was a pretty easy bride to please. I trusted her experience and told her to follow my color choices and only one exclusion, NO ORCHIDS! Wedding day, what do I get? Only roses, some purple and green filler and ORCHIDS! I decided not to make a fuss when picking them up, instead I purchased the rest of my flowers, remove all the orchids and replace them myself. I could've done them and saved myself the dissapointment and MONEY!
