Beautiful Florals

Bron and his team was absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish. I do not know anything about flowers, and Bron and his team were able to help us make choices about the flowers we would like to see on the wedding day. They have a true gift for creating beautiful arrangements, and for listening and clearly verbalizing design ideas. Unfortunately, during the wedding planning process, we had to switch our planners due to several mistakes, including one that involved sending Bron a color palette we did not approve. Even once we switched planners and the correct palette was sent, Bron and his team was able to execute and make the changes that we wanted, which was a feat two months before the wedding.

On the wedding day, the florals were stunning—thoughtfully designed, cohesive, and perfectly executed. Bron and his team were able to repurpose florals that were used outside for our reception details. Their professionalism and artistic eye made the day even better, and we received several compliments on our flowers. In fact, I am getting my wedding bouquet preserved.

In addition, it was also really helpful that Bron had design items such as photobook, audiobook, and platform for the sweetheart table. We were able to book these items through him instead of having to find another vendor.
We are so grateful for their work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a florist. Thank you again, Bron and team!

Truly a great experience.

Bron is an amazing florist and event designer. His design for our venue was simply stunning. The process was very detailed and thorough. Any time we had questions we were able to connect with him or his amazing team and get answers. The final product..... WOW! We loved it and so did our guests. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Amazing Experience

My husband and I used The Flower Guy Bron for our wedding this past September. Choosing him was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the beginning, Bron and his team were incredible to work with and made the process of floral and rental planning easy and enjoyable. After every discussion and email correspondence we had with Bron, we knew and trusted that he and his team were going to execute our vision beautifully, and on the wedding day, Bron and his team did just that. They took the ball and ran with it, executing something beyond our imagination. From the ceremony to the reception, all I, my husband, our guests, and even the other vendors could say was WOW! Everything from the bouquets to the floral arrangements/displays to the specialty rentals was absolutely stunning. Bron, we cannot thank you and your wonderful team enough for everything you created for our special day. You have definitely found a forever client in us.

Don't look further for a florist

There are not enough words to describe how pleased I was with our flowers on our wedding day at the VMFA. Bron was recommended by my wedding planner and I'm so glad he was. I remember we initially had a meeting through Zoom and I knew I would love working with him as soon as he screen shared a PowerPoint presentation on what to expect for our wedding day based on what I wanted. Bron is organized, excellent at communication and delivered outstanding service on our actual wedding day. We asked for something a little bit difficult and not the norm of wedding flowers: calla lilies. We shared some inspiration photos with him and he was able to replicate the EXACT vision board I shared with him. Guests raved about the floral displays on the wedding day and after the day. The bouquets for myself and the wedding party were also beautiful. Bron and his team members were prompt in getting to the venue on time and then packing up after the wedding. I am so glad Bron was available for our wedding day and I will be recommending his services to friends and family. Thank you for creating the magic you did, Bron and staff members for our wedding day- we appreciate you all!

Pink Roses & So Much More!

Bron & his team made our special day perfect. The flowers, oh the flowers! They were the perfect pop of color and they truly made that day magical. Bron was super knowledgable about all flower offerings and truly helped us create the perfect look that we were going for. He & his team were super easy to work with and very professional as well. He's also expanding his product offerings, and we were able to rent a smoke machine from him that made our first dance the most magical ever. I will definitely work with Bron again!

Stunning flowers

Bron and his staff came up with some special arrangements and designs for my son's wedding. The wedding party table was especially stunning with flowers and lights. I highly recommend Bron and his team.

Perfect florist!

Bron was incredible to work with! He completely understood the aesthetic that we were going for, and he worked within our budget to create gorgeous florals that absolutely made the wedding. He was also incredibly flexible and understanding through two postponements (thanks, COVID!). Our guests couldn't stop gushing about how beautiful our ceremony arch was. Bron and his team made our wedding look like a fairytale!

Amazing quality and service!

Flower Guy Bron went above and beyond on our wedding day! His flowers were as advertised! We had an outdoor trellis set in a courtyard garden which needed some last minute decorating and Flower Guy Bron was there for the assist! He hung the mesh tulle (which we purchased from Hobby Lobby) with ties on the trellis and set up our bridal party with the Bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, corsages, and boutineers. Everyone was happy with the PERFECT floral arrangements and the customer service provided as Flower Guy Bron coordinated alongside the venue and MC. His confidence in service delivery matches his performance and timeliness. I highly recommend prospective couples secure their floral arrangements with him for their wedding, expeditiously!

Gorgeous fall wedding decor

Flowers are a huge focal point of any wedding, and wow does Bron know what he's doing! I felt like he knew exactly what I wanted right from the start and went above and beyond in terms of service and decor. We had an October wedding, which means fall and Halloween - but the gourds lining our aisle were anything but tacky. Everything looked romantic and tasteful. Not to mention the gorgeous flower crown he constructed for me, and hand-delivered the morning of the wedding! He also provided beautiful table centerpieces and accents for the bathrooms, which was a lovely touch. Bron is also flexible and accommodating, coming up with creative solutions to last-minute changes. All the flowers were beautiful and lasted long after the wedding was over.

the desert in a castle

Bron and his team had a challenging task of creating a desert in Richmond Virginia. Our desert themed wedding needed cacti, succulents, dry pampas grass and loads of dry sandy fauna. Dorian the storm created some issues getting in some of the large pampas grass that we wanted but Bron did a great job making due. The long table landscapes were subtle and intimate. It felt like a soft desert and I was really happy with overall look. The price was VERY reasonable.

Breathtaking Arrangements

The flower arrangements Bron created for our wedding were beautiful. We had a strict budget and Bron was still able to make the room look gorgeous and lush with his flower arrangements and candle lighting for a wedding reception for 200 people. When I saw the flowers in the sanctuary they blew me away because of how beautiful and large they were. Many people asked me what type of flowers we were going to have at the wedding and I only knew the color scheme. But I was glad I trusted Bron with the flower choice and design because it was more beautiful than I even imagined. I also loved the flower crowns for the flower girls. It looked so cute on them. I definitely recommend the flower guy Bron for any event or wedding!

Amazing Experience, Beautiful Flowers

We are so grateful Bron was a member of our wedding dream team. He is highly personable with a level of professionalism that is unmatched. Everything good you hear about Bron is true. His creativity is overflowing, and his attention to detail is limitless. He took our still forming vision for our wedding, and with only a picture of our color scheme and some loose thoughts on what we were going for, perfectly translated our hopes and dreams for flowers and design. He exceeded our expectations on multiple occasions and provided much needed counsel on the full execution of our wedding theme and concept. We referred to his design proposal again and again throughout the planning process—using it like a map or blueprint. His suggestions and referrals gave us confidence that the small and big details would be perfect for our special day. His work ethic and pure talent left no doubt that every flower and décor item would be simply magical.

Bron is THE flower guy, and so much more. He has the Midas touch: everything he designs is gold! He provides certainty where there are a lot of unknowns, and he’s a sure bet for any wedding or event. He deserves our highest recommendation!

Words cannot express how excellent Bron and his team were! We booked Bron pretty soon after we got engaged and ran into his team around the city. They were always so kind and enthusiastic about the wedding, it made me get excited even though it was months away. The consultation was organized and he had photos in a presentation that I previously sent him. After our consultation, Bron was only an email away if I had any questions. Even my now husband commented on how "incredible" Bron was. On the day of the wedding, I did not think about the flowers not once, they showed up on time and were absolutely gorgeous. They were exactly how I pictured them in my mind. The reception was very romantic with candles in varying heights and flowers everywhere. I could not have been happier, if I had to do it all over again he would be my first phone call and first check I would write. Thanks for making it so magical!

Bron is an amazing florist and an absolute professional. He was a fun person to talk to with all of the wedding madness but his attention to our dream floral arrangement was what really won us over. When I began the process of planning our wedding, I spoke with several florists, but I felt I instantly clicked with Bron. He took the time to understand the story of how my husband and I met and curated an absolutely beautiful vision for our day, incorporating thoughtful touches in the centerpieces as a nod to the outdoor setting where my husband proposed. I couldn’t have been happier with the fabulous design he created and am forever grateful for his efforts to provide beautiful wedding ceremony flowers and make our reception venue look magical.

When one of our other vendors fell shortly before the ceremony, we were all very concerned and unsure if she would be okay. Bron offered to start calling his contacts to find a backup in the event she needed seek medical care. Fortunately, she was okay, but talk about being a team player and going above and beyond to make our day a success!

Bron Hansboro was the florist for our daughter's wedding and reception and from the first contact through to conclusion was absolutely a delight to work with. Bron listened carefully to our ideas about the tone of the wedding and the types of flowers we liked as well as those we didn't. He took our thoughts and synthesized them into a proposal that captured our vision yet was sensitive to our budget. When the wedding day arrived Bron and his assistant were "spot on" with punctual delivery and set up both at the church and the reception venue, which was calming in the midst of all the activity of the day. After the reception ended, Bron was there to pick up the flowers so that they could be delivered (by Bron) to the veterans at The Sitter & Barfoot Care Center in Richmond the next morning. We knew that we wanted the flowers to bring joy to folks that could use some cheer. It turned out that this is something Bron does regularly and we were pleased that he suggested the veterans nursing home. Bron brought professionalism, talent, and graciousness throughout our months of planning and created exactly the elegant tone we had wished for. We would give him 10 stars if we could!

As soon as my wife and I met Bron, we knew he was going to be our florist. His energy and passion are contagious. He made us feel immediately like he would take good care of us, and he did.

Bron put together the bridal bouquets, the bridesmaid bouquets, flower girl petals, a bar arrangement, cake flowers, a groom boutonniere, a toss bouquet, and flower petals for a DIY centerpiece involving rose petals in hurricane glasses (my wife found the idea on Pinterest and it turned out to be beautiful). He was also respectful of our budget. When the flowers were all set up, he absolutely nailed it. The colors were perfect and the stunning flowers really made the reception come alive. Overall, we highly recommend working with Bron. Thanks Bron!

I cannot express into words how grateful and appreciative we are that we found The Flower Guy Bron and that he was able to work with us to give us the best wedding possible. We found him with only a few months before the wedding. We were all the way in Florida getting married in Virginia which came with its own complications. However, Bron, from the beginning, was willing to do what it took to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch. Multiple times he went above and beyond by helping us find and reach out to additional vendors, ones that he trusted and were all extremely professional and delivered an excellent product. He did the decorating from the top down in our reception and ceremony. He even joined in to help set up Gobos and adjust some lighting which is definitely not something he needed to do. Bron is extremely professional, efficient and was always mindful of the price and expenses for us. The florals were amazing, beautiful, perfectly fit our color scheme, and durable (we transported them to another event the next day!). I would highly, highly recommend him to anyone if they want to have the wedding of your dreams!

Bron made the most BEAUTIFUL flower arrangements beyond my wildest dreams. I wish they would have lasted for ever! After 5 minutes into our initial consultation with him, I knew I had to have him make my florals. There were too many perfect moments in our consultation that I knew I needed him to complete our day. His first proposal was about 30% over our price range. When I told him this, he was very confident that he could make changes to design elements but not change the overall design I wanted, and come within my budget. After a few weeks, he was able to do just that, and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to have the must beautiful luscious florals, but also have the confidence that their florist can work within their budget. While florals were not one of the top items on my must haves, I am so happy I had Bron and his amazing team to make our wedding dreams come true!

Bron is a ray of sunshine on a rainy day! He is so professional, organized and made us feel like family. It was 3 weeks before my wedding and this was the 3rd florist I had gone to. The saying 3 times the charm is so true. The experience was like no other. As soon as I sent an inquiry I received a response almost instantly and was in the shop the next day. I was expecting it to be like any other florist go in tell them the flowers I want and leave but Bron flipped my world up side down. I was greater with a huge welcoming smile and drink and asked to sit with him and share my vision. We went down the line with my vision of the day down to specific details of decor I had chosen and what I still my need for that extra wow factor. Had I know Bron would of been the 1st vendor I'd seen before lighting, wedding coordinator etc. He was the go to guy having everything from flowers to runner to lanterns votives and more. He great ideas and personally delivering my flowers to me made my day so special and such a breeze. He even helped my find a bakery ! Thank you..

Bron, Lloyd, and team went above and beyond! We were trying to stay within a budget and Bron assured us that our dreams would be met. He gave great ideas and patiently worked through the snapshots in my head to make our vision a reality. We had a lot of decorations that I made and he set them all up and broke them down for us. I could tell that he took meticulous care in arranging everything and it all looked beautiful. I can not leave a high enough review for the man that walked me through the process, continually eased my worrying, and his team that executed our plan perfectly. We felt like we were working with family that cared about our day as much as we did. We were able to meet with him on our schedule and his shop was inviting, comfortable, and inspiring. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and kept in touch throughout the entire process. We love Bron and will be looking for excuses to work with him in the future!

I found Bron on the wedding wire after being recommended some other florists who clearly
didn't match up to what I wanted in terms of floral arrangements for the July 29 Rehearsal Dinner for my son and daughter-in-law at the Country Club of Virginia (CCV). It was easy communicating with Bron regarding the initial proposal and any changes that I wanted to make once I met with him and the catering director at CCV prior to our event. Bron was always responsive to texts, emails and calls, and extremely courteous and professional. All the flower arrangements were set up beautifully when I arrived at the Rehearsal Dinner, and Bron came afterwards to clean up. I would hire him again for any event that required floral arrangements!

Let me just start by saying I LOVE BRON!!!! From our initial conversation he made me feel like our wedding day was just as important to him as it was to us. He listened to every idea that I had and used his professional experience to create a proposal that blew my family and I away. Seeing the proposal come to life on our wedding day blew me away!!! Bron was amazing! I showed him a couple of pictures from Pinterest and he took my vision and executed and was very affordable. I told him my budget and he found ways to make my design fit my budget. He was also very flexible as we had several last minute additions. He was very professional, fun, and easy to work with. The day of the wedding, he delivered flowers, set up, and helped pin some of my participants. It was done so smoothly. By the time the wedding started, he was gone but everything was flawless. My bouquet lasted 2 weeks after the wedding and was still vibrant! Excellent service and quality.

I absolutely loved working with Bron! I'm not a very creative person so when we met to talk about the vision of what I wanted the wedding to be I was a little clueless but Bron was so wonderful asking questions and really getting a sense of what I had in my head but couldn't put into words. He did an amazing job putting together our proposal with beautiful example pictures included. When the day came the people who came and set up and brought everything out were so sweet and wonderful! I could not believe just how beautiful my bouquet was, I was just in awe of the whole time. When I finally got to the reception and got to see the tables settings I was blown away at how beautiful everything looked. I recently had the pleasure of using Bron's services for my June wedding. The Flower Guy Bron arranged all of the boutonnieres and corsages, my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquet, the flower girls' pompadours, and the cake topper. Our flowers were absolutely beautiful (and within our budget)! For the reception, Bron created a look that was flawless and so creative. I showed a picture of what I wanted for our Virginia Science Museum reception and, within seconds, Bron knew exactly the look that I was going for. He immediately sold me with his vision of tall flowers, votive candles, water-filled vases and rose petals. His motto is that "he doesn't sell flowers, he sells experiences." I have used his flower services for a funeral and for Mother's Day. Both times I advised of a budget I would like to stay within and both times was right on the dot. He offered BEAUTIFUL orchids as memorial pieces, and a gorgeous assortment of flowers for Mother's Day. I will not use any other vendor besides him and Lloyd. The best advice would be if they are looking for a venue that loves to have fun and willing to help every step of the way this is most definitely the place to be. I dreamed of a vintage wedding and Bron and Lloyd of 'The Flower Guy Bron' made my dream a reality! After standing in the Pastor's study waiting to walk in, Bron peeks his head in and says, "it's time." When the doors of the sanctuary opened, for the first time, I saw a scene like no other. As I walked past two white square columns consisting of white hydrangea down the marshmallow white aisle runner covered in quick sand rose petals, the guest began to rise from their gold chiavari chairs. The bridesmaids held bouquets to die for, the groomsmen boutonnieres were flawless and the wrist corsages worn by the mothers, grandmothers and godmothers made a statement of pure matriarchal royalty. My groom stood under a huppah covered in beautiful fresh flower arrangements. The latte drape, amber uplighting and bistro lighting created an ambiance that was absolutely breath taking! The overflow of creativity poured into the reception. As sat at the sweetheart table which was decorated with candles and fresh flower arrangements and looked on to observe the guest. In the amber lite room, the guest were amazed by the fresh flower arrangements which surrounded them. And, at the end of the night, I stood in amazement staring at the birdcage as all the female guest scrambled to claim the beautiful centerpieces from the 10 guest tables.

I was the bride of a wedding that I read about or watched on the tv. I was a bride that had not a care in the world on her wedding day. Not only did they decorate, but they directed, coordinated and did everything within their power to ensure this was the perfect day. There was not one detail missing! On that day, Bron and Lloyd of 'The Flower Guy Bron' were my guardian angels! Love you guys ??????

Bron the Flower Guy was the wedding. The flowers were never too much but always seemed to set and make the room. Bron the Flower Guy saw a vision and they truly went after it. Nathaniel and Dustin (the grooms) always had the complete confidence in their delicate handling- it was something to see! I wouldn't choose anyone else to design major events! Seriously!!! Their professionalism is something that should be studied by many!

Lastly, our wedding was hard and fast movement-Bron the Flower Guy team had to transform two spaces in only a hour in a half time! Never did we see stress, mean faces, or confused looks- when we walked into the room it was like magic! I think I had fun with their crew just as much as I did the guest.

I went to multiple florists in the Richmond area and I knew immediately during my initial visit with The Flower Guy Bron, that he was the one! Bron is phenomenal florist and unlike some of the other florists I consulted with, he did not require me to be an expert in flowers and floral designs. When I was unsure what I really wanted, he very pleasantly offered suggestions and was patient with me as we took a tour through my Pintrest pins. It was his goal to ensure that I was happy with the style, colors, and flowers choice that was perfect for my season. He was such a joy to deal with for the consultation that I immediately came home and told my fiancé that Bron was a must have and that I had found our florist! He really made the process easy! He even offered to use his own vases so that I didn't have to figure out what to do with 15-20 vases afterwards. Other florist were not offering this service or either were really over charging for items that they already had in their inventory. Bron was the complete opposite!

As our date approached, there were times were I made a few style and quantity changes, this was never a problem. He was always open and ready to assist to ensure I was happy with the final outcome. The finished product was gorgeous, vibrant, and truly elegant. He exceeded our expectations with those beautiful, fresh floral arrangements, that were still alive when we returned from the honeymoon. (Many of our guests even kept commenting on the flowers, saying how nice they were!) Bron, thank you so much for your patience, attention to detail, and for providing such beautiful flowers that we will have memories of for years to come. We can't wait to work with you again for parties and anniversaries in the future! I will refer any and everyone to The Flower Guy Bron, you will definitely be pleased!

I am so thankful that I found Bron when searching for my flowers! Not only is he just a wonderful person to be around, but he is so talented with flowers. I had a very tight floral budget, and unlike some of the other florists I was in contact with, Bron never made me feel like I was unimportant because I wasn't spending thousands of dollars on flowers. He made endless revisions to my quote, and worked with me to find the perfect balance between what looks expensive and what is expensive, making sure I got the best value for my flowers! On the day of the wedding, I was completely blown away by the flowers that he brought. Bron and his team set up everything for us, and I think that every single item on my quote was augmented in some way. My bridesmaids bouquets were as big as some bridal bouquets I have seen, and my bridal bouquet was so enormous and filled with so many types of beautiful flowers and colors that I couldn't believe that it was really mine, and not a bouquet out of a magazine. Bron went the extra mile with every detail. I asked Bron for simple green garlands to decorate my ceremony location and pieces of my reception, and they arrived not only with the beautiful greenery, but amazing white flowers that made it look even better than I had imagined. I cannot thank Bron and his team enough for all of their hard work! They made my wedding day flowers everything I had dreamed of and more, for an amazing price!

Bron and his staff were amazing. We gave him a general idea of what we wanted for our wedding and they hit the ball out of the park. Our chuppah was everything we were hoping for and then some.
Bron was always reachable and I had forgotten to add my ushers flowers and he added them immediately when I asked.

Bron was an excellent florist and vendor to work with. The flowers that he made for my wedding exceeded my expectations; they were absolutely gorgeous. Throughout my wedding planning process, Bron was very professional and flexible. He allowed me to add/change floral designs as needed all the way up until a week before the wedding. The Flower Guy provided us with some of the most beautiful flowers I have seen. Purple was my color of choice and the selection of lily's he chose did not disappoint. BRON IS AMAZING AT WHAT HE DOES! His work was the cherry on our sundae at the historic Granby Theater, in Norfolk VA. Our guests can stop singing about his work at our wedding. I gave him very little as far as a detailed vision, but he created more than I could have ever dreamed or imagined! He can do anything! Concepts and originality far exceeded my expectations. Having had only a week or two notice (which is not recommended) he was able to pull off a miracle. His flower arrangements made the event classy and tasteful. I don't know what the venue would have looked like if Bron had not intervened. He not only did magnificent center pieces but he helped to set the tables up properly as well, giving us direction when we had none. He truly saved the event.

Bron met with me and my husband well before the wedding and worked with us until we had a package we loved. He was respectful of our budget, and also very accommodating when we made very last-minute changes. The flowers were delivered to where they needed to be without a hitch and, most importantly, they were absolutely GORGEOUS. 10/10 would recommend :)

Bron and his team were great the day of my wedding. I got so many compliments on everything he did for us. Bron also helped a good deal in flower selection and is flexible to mid planning changes in had with my flowers! All of the product that we ordered was delivered on time and well done. His assistance with cleanup after the event was an added bonus as we did not need to worry about clean up. We were able to receive all of our security deposit as a result of his assistance.

From the very first meeting with Bron, we knew we were going to have amazing wedding flowers and styling! Bron listened to exactly what we wanted, made some great suggestions, and we worked with him to make sure it all came within a budget we were comfortable with. We were able to drop off a bunch of things we wanted styled on the reception tables and Bron and his team ran with it and created beautiful centerpieces. He and his team were able to pick up everything from the venue at the end of the night for us and had it all ready to go for pick up the next day. Bron also provided our chuppah and was able to incorporate a family wedding veil and styled the whole chuppah beautifully-- it was exactly what we wanted! We really enjoyed working with Bron and his team and definitely recommend them!

Bron is a very busy guy so you will need to make sure to keep up with the flower details or just trust that he knows exactly what you want. Otherwise, he made everything so beautiful. My one regret is not using him for the reception. He knows how to make a room pop!

Bron is super friendly and bubbly to be around. He understood I was on a budget and didn't try to add-on sales. My bouquet was full and pretty. A critique I have is that Bron said the boutonnieres and corsages would have magnets on the back of them to make it easier for everyone to wear, but they were all pinned on instead. Overall, he did a good job!

Bron could not have left me more disappointed or angry on my wedding day.

The way he designed our ceremony location didn’t at all match the photos we used to agree on how it would be decorated. When we pointed it out to him after the wedding and asked for a partial refund because he didn’t deliver what we agreed on, he cited this clause in the contract:

“Our floral proposal has a clause that specifically notes that the pictures therein are for reference use only. I will also direct you to the clause in your contract that states that, “A representative of the wedding party or an appointed acting party must be present to sign and/or verbally approve the order. It is hereby agreed by both parties that upon delivery and approval/acceptance of the order, the customer acknowledged that The Flower Guy Bron has fulfilled all obligations of this contract.” This acknowledgment was given by both your wedding coordinator and the Groom prior to my team’s departure.”

Our wedding coordinator had no authority to approve the design (and they’re good friends, so why wouldn’t she approve it), and the Groom had no recollection of doing so. He failed to compare the number of tables with the number of centerpieces – so our head table was an eyesore, without a single flower. He chilled the red wine bottles that were centerpieces, so that their labels, with table numbers, ran. He asked us random questions during our first look – not an appropriate time. In the preparation process, Bron and our wedding coordinator, Nica (again, see review for Every Little Detail), joked with us about how long the past marriages they worked for would last. If you want your vendors predicting how long until your divorce, and sharing that with other clients, then this is the 'guy' for you.

His way of appeasing our issues was by offering $200 off our next purchase of $1000 or more. To think that we would ever get married again, and that if we did, we would use his horrible services is insulting.
