We got married in Hilton Head on August 19th 2017. We are from out of town and used Henry for our flowers. I had an idea of what I wanted for our wedding and Henry was able to make it possible. He looked at my Pinterest page and we emailed back and forth many times. In the end everything turned out so beautiful. We were amazed when we walked into the venue the day of our wedding. I absolutely loved the flowers we had for our chalkboard and everything else. I would recommend him to anyone getting married in Hilton Head!

We got married in Hilton Head on June 16 2017! Henry did our flowers and absolutely nailed my vision for our wedding day flowers! Henry catered to my every need and succeeded! The flowers were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I was in love with them the moment they were delivered!! You captured my vision perfectly and I am at a loss of words! When I look back at pictures of the flowers it brings tears to my eyes because they are just so beautiful! I highly recommend having Henry do your flowers for your wedding day!

When you are planning a destination wedding, selecting vendors can be difficult but in this case, I cannot believe how fortunate and pleased I was to have picked Henry of The Flower Garden. Henry was absolutely a joy to work with and the flowers exceeding our expectations!!! He could not have been more accommodating with all my ideas and requests. I thought the cost was very reasonable as well. Thank you soooo much for making our special day so absolutely beautiful!

Highly recommend.
Henry was easy to work with, and created a beautiful and romantic atmosphere. I had an idea of what I wanted, but no idea what specific flowers or how to make that “feeling” come to life. We e-mailed & skyped a few times (we live in Europe) to get a sense of our style. Then he met us at the venue and helped us think through the entire event and how we could reuse the flowers. What he created was more beautiful than anything that I could have imagined. He stayed through the entire set-up to make sure everything was perfectly.
Thanks Henry for a making our weekend so great!

Henry was so easy to work with. I was dealing with him 12 hours away and he knew by just talking to me what I wanted. My flowers were exactly what I had hoped for. They were beautiful!!!

Henry exceeded our expectations! I had an "all white" wedding and the arrangements he put together with various white flowers with pops of bright, natural greenery were simply beautiful. He was always very quick to respond and it is obvious that he truly cares about his clients and wants every bride to be happy. Look no further than The Flower Garden!

Where do I even begin with this review. From our very first meeting to the end result, I don't believe my flowers could have been any more beautiful than they were. Henry listened very intently, gave his suggestions and made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. He saw my vision and made it all come to fruition. I received so many compliments, it was just amazing. I am so thankful I found Henry Kretchmer and The Flower Garden and highly recommend them to anyone in search of the perfect florist !!! Henry at The Flower Garden made such a gorgeous bouquet for my beach wedding! I showed him exactly what I wanted and he was able to create it exactly the way I wanted! The size was exactly of the bouquet was perfect, the flowers were more beautiful than I could have imagined, and he even made a delivery to the bakery to give them flowers to top our cake. He was able to order/create my bouquet with a very short notice which I appreciated so much! I highly recommend The Flower Garden for your event!

Henry was great to work with. I planned my wedding through him via email and phone calls from 10 hours away and I as the bride never had anything to worry about. His flower arrangements, arbor decor, and table centerpieces were exactly as I described to him and wanted. I was sooo happy with my wedding and everyone had a blast. I would highly recommend Henry and the Flower Garden to anyone getting married in Hilton Head Island, SC area.

I met with Henry early into my engagement just to get an idea of what to expect. He was great. He really listened to me, and he totally got my vision. My fiance had some special requests, and he tried so hard to make those requests come to fruition. I was able to show Henry what I liked via Pinterest, and he NAILED it. The first sight of my bouquet made me cry. It was gorgeous. The table arrangements said EXACTLY what I wanted - simple, elegant, exquisite. He found the most beautiful flowers that still look nice on our tables even 2 weeks later. He was prompt with responses and stayed in communication with my wedding planner. I couldn't have asked for a better representation of what I wanted at my wedding.

We learned of The Flower Garden, and owner Henry Kretchmer, from our catering vendor, Celebrations, on Hilton Head. Henry was responsive and attentive to us even 6 months out from our daughter's wedding date. He was in touch with all of us by email and used Pinterest pictures to see her vision, even though she is out of town and we are local. He was very specific in exactly what he was going to use in each vase, and the flowers he was using. Henry came to our home the week before the wedding to pick up some of the décor to make sure his flowers would be proportional on the tables. He came early to our house the day of the wedding to drop off the bouquets, before heading to the hotel with the boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen. Then he set up the outdoor ceremony space, porch, steps and reception areas at Windows on the Waterway. We loved working with Henry, and received so many compliments on his beautiful arrangements. He made the whole floral process stress free. We now consider Henry a friend and highly recommend him and The Flower Garden!

Working with Henry Kretchmer at The Flower Garden was nothing but a great experience. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. Henry met with the wedding coordinator at the Beach House Resort as our wedding was a destination wedding. He made sure the details were worked out so I had nothing to worry about when I arrived in Hilton Head. I'm not someone who knows much about flowers but I was able to explain what "look" I wanted and he was able to translate that into beautiful bouquets and decorative flowers at the venue. He also decorated the after ceremony dinner venue tablescapes with candles, votives, lanterns, and shells. It looked like a picture out of a magazine. We were nothing but overjoyed with how all the flowers and decorative touches turned out. I would highly recommend Henry Kretchmer and The Flower Garden.

Henry did the flowers for my daughter's wedding in September. It was a destination wedding and Henry made it extremely easy for us to coordinate, being 800 miles away. He met with the wedding consultant at The Beach House for us, to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it. He was extremely easy to deal with, very knowledgeable and helpful. The flowers were even more than we could have ever imagined. He helped us choose the perfect flowers for the occasion and made sure we had exactly what we wanted and envisioned. From our spectacular bouquets, to the gerbera daisy pomander balls on the chairs, to the beautifully decorated arch, it was just magical when we walked down the aisle. The private dining room at the Beach House was just so beautiful. He made an awesome table scape with candles, lanterns, votives, and flowers. When we walked into the room, we all just stared in awe! It was the perfect day, and we never had one worry about Henry and the beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets he would create. I highly recommend Henry Kretchmer and The Flower Garden. You will definitely not be disappointed.

My wedding at Palmetto Bluff wouldn't have been complete without the absolute artistry of Henry Kretchmer's "the flower garden". He is the go to guy for flowers on Hilton Head and in Bluffton. He had amazing ideas, delivered precisely and seamlessly what he said he would and really made my day beautiful. You can count on him for a very smooth and easy transaction. It was such a pleasure to work with Henry. He was very accommodating and helpful in planning and his work is simply beautiful. He used the photos and ideas I had collected to create a unique floral vision for our wedding. His flowers for the ceremony and reception were just amazing.
Henry takes the time to listen to your ideas and makes solid recommendations of what he knows will work for the season, venue, and theme. He is very easy to do business with and I was extremely happy with the entire experience. I highly recommend his services for floral design.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Henry the past year as we planned our wedding. It was apparent from the minute we chose to use Henry for our flowers that it would be a wonderful experience. Henry is so knowledgeable and patient, working with him was a pleasure. Our flowers and centerpieces turned out to be so much more amazing that I ever could have imagined. Henry took notice of every little detail we wanted and transformed it into the most beatiful centerpieces and arragenements I have ever seen. As is the case with many brides, flowers were one of the last things I figured out. I didn't know a lot about flowers and only had a vague idea of what I wanted, but after a brief conversation with Henry over the phone, he showed up to our first meeting armed with multiple photos and ideas that I just loved.

I found it very easy to trust his creativity and his judgment, and didn't once feel pressured to do anything more than was actually needed for our very simple wedding ceremony. The elegant final result enhanced the natural beauty of our indoor/outdoor venue, and the bridal bouquets were just breathtaking in spite of their simplicity - or perhaps because of it. :)

My daughter's wedding was not held in our home townbut rather on Hilton Head Island, SC. Often, when people have destination weddings, the vendors realize that they probably will never see their clients again and sometimes do not produce the quality of work that should be done. That certainly was not the case with Henry Kretchmer of The Flower Garden. He made us feel like we were the most important wedding that he had ever done. The bouquets, arrangements, etc. were beautiful. He paid attention to every detail that we discussed. I was amazed at how efficient he was with delivering the flowers to the groom's villa, the bride's suite, the church and the venue.
Henry is a kind, caring and true professional.

Henry was absolutely FANTASTIC to work with! So much fun and such an artist. You can tell he truly loves his job and puts a lot of passion into his work. Very flexible. It was wonderful working with Henry at The Flower Garden. We were able to do everything we had dreamed of in the way of arrangements and flowers we used due to his extremely reasonable pricing. We used garden roses (the second most expensive flower) and endangered Manzanita branches that were spray painted silver for our centerpieces. We had him attach orchids to the ends of the branches...they looked absolutely incredible! He will take your basic ideas and make them come to life in a beautiful way!

Henry was wonderful. He gave me the flowers I wanted, and made them look better than I ever imagined. He kindly split the flowers up, so that the stuff for the Groom's family went to their house while the flowers for me and my family went to our dressing location. They were kept fresh, and looked gorgeous. The bouquets are STILL in vases on our table, 5 days after the wedding!
He offered suggestions when I wasn't sure what I wanted, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the flowers, especially for flowers for my hair.

Henry really knows what he is doing when it comes to flowers. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but gave Henry a few general ideas with pictures and colors. I told him what I didn't like, and he went from there. I was anxious to see what my arrangements would look like for the wedding, and it was astonished with how beautiful and elegant they had all turned out! Henry created all of the flowers for my ceremony and reception and decorated our wedding arbor. He did a phenomenal job and I could not have asked for a better florist.

My husband and I were supposed to get married on Hilton Head Island on October 8, 2016 after 11 months of stressful planning. Hurricane Matthew had other plans for us and we were unable to have our wedding in Hilton Head due to the mandatory evacuation issued by the Governor. After the evacuation, we were in constant contact with Henry as we still had planned to get married somewhere in South Carolina on short notice, and of course wanted some flowers! Several days later, we finally found a church in Charleston that was able to marry us and Henry was more than accommodating to make arrangements with whatever was salvaged through the storm. We were very pleased and thrilled with his work and the way he still tried to help us after many stressful days after our wedding was cancelled. Thank you Henry!!!

I didn't want "typical" wedding flowers and had a very specific idea for my centerpieces involving driftwood and florals and greenery. I need an artistic florist who understood my vision, thought outside the box, and could make it happen. Henry took the idea in my head and brought it to life. He knows his flowers and did a great job on my wedding!

Henry is amazing! I gave him pictures of things I liked and envisioned and he delivered flowers even more beautiful than my pictures. He really made my vision come to life even though I wasn't completely clear on what I wanted my table or aisle decorations to look like. He is very helpful and will recommend things to help stay within your budget. He will meet you at your location so that you can plan out the design together and his proposals are very clear on the types of flowers he plans on using. If you are looking for a great florist in the HHI/Savannah area give Henry a call. He will not disappoint you.

Henry was very flexible. However, was very had to get a hold of. My flowers were absolutely amazing. More than I could have asked for. If you are laid back bride, who can handle leaving a lot of the creative part to someone else, then Henry is the guy for you! I loved my flowers!
